Abstract

This research examines the implementation of the School Literacy Movement Program (GLS) in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKN) subjects at SMP Negeri 36 Bulukumba. The main focus of the research is identifying and analyzing the challenges and impacts that arise during the GLS implementation process, with an emphasis on aspects of resource availability, student interest, teacher understanding and alignment, and support from the school. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study design at SMP Negeri 36 Bulukumba. Research participants involved teachers, students and school officials related to GLS. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and analysis of documents related to curriculum and literacy activities. The research results show a number of significant challenges, including a lack of availability of resources, low student interest, and a lack of teacher understanding and alignment with the concept of literacy. Research recommendations include efforts to increase the availability of resources, develop innovative strategies to increase student interest, train and mentor teachers related to literacy concepts, and strengthen school support and understanding of the importance of GLS. It is hoped that this research will contribute new thinking in increasing the effectiveness of the School Literacy Movement Program in PPKN subjects, support the goals of character and citizenship education at SMP Negeri 36 Bulukumba, and can become a reference for developing literacy programs at the national level.

Abstract

This research is qualitative research which aims to describe students' mathematical skills in using the maple application. The subjects of this research were 32 students of Mega Link Majene Vocational School Class X DKV. The instruments used in this research were performance assessment tests and closed interview sheets. Mathematics performance assessment tests on skills in using the maple application, especially on matrix material, were carried out through practical methods to assess students' skill processes. Closed interviews were carried out after students took the performance assessment test. Based on the results of the research analysis, it was found that there were 3 students who were at the superior criteria (level 4). There are 17 students who are at the skilled criteria (level 3). There are 12 students who are in the quite skilled criteria (level 2). There are no students who fall under the criteria of less skilled (level 1) and unskilled (level 0).

Abstract

 University Al Asyariah Mandar is considered a miniature of Indonesia because its students come from various regions in Indonesia. The cultural and religious diversity at this university makes it known as a multicultural campus. Multicultural values refer to a set of principles, beliefs, norms, and behaviors that promote respect for the diversity of cultures, ethnicities, religions, languages, and other backgrounds in a society. Pancasila education is considered an important subject for instilling multicultural values in students. Pancasila education is a subject that shapes students' character and personality, reflecting the spirit of unity in diversity. Therefore, it is necessary to implement multicultural values through learning Pancasila education at Al Asyariah Mandar University. In this research, the type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection is carried out by interviews, observation, or document analysis. The results of this research show that the implementation of multicultural values in learning Pancasila education at Al Asyariah Mandar University involves planning, implementation and evaluation as the main stages. This approach is supported by the use of Skinner's operant conditioning theory to shape student behavior by providing positive reinforcement related to multicultural attitudes. Even though systematic planning efforts have been made through the Semester Learning Plan (RPS), the implementation of learning is still faced with several obstacles, including student awareness and readiness, student characteristics, and limited learning facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

The success of this study was indicated by an increase in students' learning motivation above 75%, an increase in learning outcomes above the KKM, and a minimum percentage of classical learning mastery of 75%.This research is classroom action research. The learning used in this research is contextual. The subjects of this study were class XII students at SMA Negeri 1 Polewali for the 2021/2022 academic year, namely 36 students. Data was collected through documentation, interviews, tests, observations, and questionnaires. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and calculating the average value and percentage.Based on the research results, the percentage of learning motivation from cycle I to cycle II increased from 63.04% to 76.33% or 13.29%. There was an average increase in student learning outcomes from 72.01 to 75.32 or 3.31 points. The students' classical learning completeness increased from 68.75% to 79.41% or 10.66%.

Abstract

The activities carried out in the research aim to improve the development of children's motor skills in playing with grain media collage at TK Dzakiyyah Palembang. The research was conducted at TK Dzakiyyah Palembang with 15 students. From the results of observations at TK Dzakiyyah Palembang, it was found that 49% of collage skills were still lacking. These results were carried out by teachers on children's activities before and after improving children's development activities in collage activities, reaching an average of 49%, so improvements were made in cycle I of fine motor activities through media collage in the form of seeds, which increased to an average of 68%, followed by cycle II, media collage in the form of kuaci seeds. , coriander seeds, rice seeds and ice beans as well as picture patterns on worksheets that have varying colors so that there is an increase of 10% and the average success value reaches 78% with children developing very well in accordance with expectations, namely 93% so that the collage ability grain media is greatly increased. So the conclusion is that using media materials in the form of seeds can develop students' fine motor skills so that they can be used as media that can increase collage activities for children.

Abstract

This study aimed to understand how activists and members of the Sauan Sibarrung Credit Union interpret core values in the perspective of Toraja culture as a container (jars containing gold = saun sibarrung) that can be a source of welfare (endless water source = gori-gori tang ma'ti) for members and communities. This research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. The results showed that (1) the eight core values in the Sauan Sibarrung Credit Union are sangka' (teachings, general truths) which are also the philosophy of life of the Torajan people, where people live in rules, fight for the integrity of life, act wisely, lovingly and solidly, care for the environment, hard work and tenacity, and are based on the belief of faith to live true and whole together with other creations of God, (2) The eight core values become a model of values, as a credit union culture, and form the basis of the strategy and policy for the development of the Sauan Sibarrung Credit Union program as well as guidelines for all behavior of individuals, organizations, and communities

Abstract

This research aims to find out: (1) the procession of implementing mappacci in the Bugis tribe community, Pinrang Regency. (2) the symbolic meaning of the equipment used in the mappacci procession in the Bugis tribe community, Pinrang Regency. To achieve this goal, researchers used data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained from the research results were processed using qualitative analysis with a phenomenological approach to the Mappacci implementation procession in the Bugis Tribe community in Pinrang Regency and the symbolic meaning of the equipment used during the Mappacci implementation procession in the Bugis Tribe community in Pinrang Regency. Based on the results of this research, it shows that, (1) There are three stages in the process of implementing mappacci in the Bugis community of Pinrang Regency, the first stage is dio majeng and assa' demmeang, the second stage is barasanji and the last stage is mappacci. (2) There are nine pieces of equipment used during the mappacci procession in the Bugis community of Pinrang Regency, the first piece of equipment is henna leaves which symbolize purity, the second piece of equipment is a pillow which symbolizes comfort, the third piece of equipment is a silk sarong which symbolizes moral values, the fourth piece of equipment is banana leaves which symbolize continuity, the fifth equipment is rice which symbolizes development, the sixth equipment is candles which symbolize wisdom, the seventh equipment is jackfruit leaves which symbolize straightness, the eighth equipment is a pacci container which symbolizes unity and the last equipment is brown sugar and coconut which symbolize loyalty

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy for implementing MKWK lectures to support strengthening character education at Makassar State University. The type and approach of this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique is a questionnaire/questionnaire.The results of the study indicate that students who participate in MKWK generally know and understand that MKWK is a course that functions to shape dignified student character and civility, knowing the nature of MKWK is a course that strengthens students' spiritual commitment. In general, the respondents stated that the information was obtained from MKWK lecturers. Related to the character values that will be achieved by MKWK. Regarding the lecture strategy by MKWK lecturers, respondents also stated that the lecturer used the discussion and question and answer method, as well as problem solving case studies associated with strengthening character education. MKWK lecturers in the lecture process have developed intellectual (thought) aesthetic (taste), ethics and spiritual (heart), in developing and implementing teaching materials by integrating and connecting real life as part of the cash method, taking into account the problem of local wisdom. MKWK lecturers in terms of delivering character values, in this case smart, honest, caring, tough and academic culture are also the focus of attention in the process of implementing lectures.

Abstract

This deep understanding of the dynamics of Overseas Javanese solidarity is not only important to explain social interactions at the local level but also has important implications for the development of contemporary science, especially in the field of Anthropology / Sociology in the context of overseas Javanese solidarity.  This type of research is qualitative descriptive research using the theoretical approach of solidarity Bronislaw Malinowski. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that the form of solidarity built in overseas Javanese in Lakawali Village is integrative solidarity and regulative solidarity. Integrative solidarity of Overseas Javanese in Lakawali Village is manifested in various attitudes of interdependence and cooperation which became the forerunner of the formation of solidarity in daily life, while regulative solidarity in Overseas Javanese in Lakawali Village, East Luwu Regency is characterized by the existence of cultural values and social norms such as politeness values and moral values that form solidarity with the community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: menganalisis makna simbolik yang ada pada 11 sureq untuk setiap lipaq saqbe, menganalisis fungsi ke 11 sureq pada lipaq saqbe, menganalisis mengapa masyarakat masih mempertahankan keaslian sureq (motif) pada lipaq saqbe sampai saat ini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif, pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode wawancara dan pengamatan langsung. Subjek penelitian adalah budayawan, sejarawan, penenun dan masyarakat yang ada di Polewali Mandar yang paham akan lipaq saqbe. Tekhnik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Makna simbolik ke 11 sureq yang ada pada setiap lipaq saqbe memiliki filosofi dan makna yang mengandung konsep adat istiadat masyarakat Mandar. sureq tersebut merupakan simbol komunikasi non verbal yang mengokomunikasikan makna, pesan melalui setiap sureq pada lipaq saqbe. Beberpa makna yang ada pada setiap lipaq saqbe melambangkan adanya perbedaan antara sureq yang dipakai oleh para bangsawan, kepala adat dan masyrakat biasa. Setiap sureq memiliki corak atau motif yang sama, hal yang dapat membedakan setiap lipaq saqbe yaitu warna dan besar kecilnya kotak- kotak yang ada pada ke 11 lipaq saqbe tersebut. Secara umum fungsi dari ke 11 sureq pada setiap lipaq saqbe mandar seperti pagar yang memberi perlindungan kepada dirinya, sebagai pembeda yang dapat dilihat dari setiap sureq tersebut, serta dapat dijadikan sebagai aksesoris pada setiap acara. Dan tentunya sebagai warisan budaya yang perlu dilestarikan. Sampai saat ini masyarakat mempertahankan keaslian sureq pada lipaq saqbe karena masih banyak peminat ataupun masyarakat masih menjunjung tinggi keaslian sureq, serta ini menjadi salah satu tempat mata pencaharian bagi masyarakat mandar. selain itu lipaq saqbe juga merupakan peninggalan yang harus selalu di lestarikan meski sudah banyak yang mengikuti perkembangan zaman.
