Abstract

The impulse that arises in students to be able to learn well is called learning motivation. Student response is a tendency arising from students towards learning that is applied. This research is a quantitative study to determine the correlation between learning motivation and response to hydrocarbon learning using Chemsketch. The study was conducted at SMAN 2 Merauke in Class XI Science 1 with 28 students. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. The research data were obtained using a questionnaire of learning motivation and student responses. The research data were analyzed descriptively and the results were obtained: (1) student motivation: 11 people (40%) were in the very high category and 17 people (60%) were in the high category, (2) student responses: 12 people (43% ) is in the very good category and 16 people (57%) are in the good category. Quantitative data analysis by testing the correlation between learning motivation and learning outcomes with the assumption of data linearity assumptions and data normality. After analyzing the results obtained that (1) there is a linear and significant relationship, (2) data is normally distributed, (3) there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and student response

Abstract

The Problems in this study are students are less active, students tend to work individually, studens are less creative and havelow motivation to learn. The purpose of this study was to improve student learning outcomes on science content through a mind mapping learning model with a combination of make a match in class IV SDN Kelayan Timur 3. This classroom action research was carried out in two clcles of 2 mettings per cycle, conisting of the planning stage, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection in this study was carried out by using observation. The results showed that in the first cycle of classical completeness 267% and the second cycle of classical completeness with a percentage of 87%. Based on the result of the study, it was concluded that the useof a mind mapping learnig model wit a combination of mae a match with the right step could improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Local wisdom can be taught to learners through learning related to enviromental on IPA Terpadu subjects at the junior level. This research aims to develop a comic that has isomorphic problems. This research was designed in accordance with the research and development. The model used was 3D-E which consists of decide, design, develop, and evaluation stages. The results showed that the developed comic has quality criteria in the "good" category and declared "worthy" on material, media, and language aspects. In the future, further research is needed to test the practicality and effectiveness in the development of scientifically based physics comics of Merauke’s local wisdom which is isomorphic.

Abstract

Online learning is alternative for learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic by educators. Teachers required to innovate in choosing learning media, so that lessons are not boring and laerning motivation increase. Science learning media must be interesting and easy to understand, so students are accustomed and happy. Tiktok is one of the popular applications that can be used as an interesting and interesting science learning media for students. This research was conducted using qualitative descriptive analysis method. The sample in this study was randomly selected junior high school students totaling 38 childrens. This study aims to determine the response of junior high school students to science learning media using the tiktok application. The results of student responses are : 1) students recognize, use, and assume that the tiktok application has a positive impact, (2) students easily understand tiktok content related to science learning, (3) the majority of teachers have not implemented the tiktok application as a science learning media, and (4) the response of science learning media using the tiktok application received a positive response from junior high school students. The conclusion is tiktok can be used for alternative learning science by teachers because of the positive response from students.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused the learning process to change, from face-to-face to online learning. Online learning requires optimal mastery of technology and the need for innovation in learning, especially in evaluating learning outcomes and online assessment. The use of Quizizz media is an alternative for evaluation with an attractive appearance far from being scary. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method that aims to determine student perceptions of the evaluation of learning outcomes accompanied by online assessment using Quizziz media. The research subjects are active students of chemistry education, Musamus University who have participated in an evaluation using quizizz. The instrument of this research is a questionnaire containing 20 questions based on 6 indicators and using a Likert scale. The research data was obtained from the results of the questionnaire that had been distributed through the google form application. The results showed that students' perceptions of the use of quizizz received a positive response of 87%. The conclusion in this study is that the use of quizizz as an evaluation accompanied by online assessment can be applied in chemistry education and can increase student motivation in learning.

Abstract

Keberadaan dan kelimpahan lempung alam (clay) di kabupaten Merauke sampai saat ini belum di manfaatkan dengan maksimal. Hal ini disebabkan karena kurang atau bahkan belum adanya penelitian dan informasi tentang karakteristik lempung alam tersebut. Lempung alam merupakan salah satu mineral alam yang mengandung silika dan partikelnya berukuran kurang dari dua mikrometer. Penelitian lempung alam Merauke dari Distrik Sota bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data awal berupa karakter fisika dan kimia karena selama ini belum ada kajian terkait hal itu. Lempung alam akan dipreparasi selanjutnya akan diidentifikasi karakternya menggunakan instrumen. Karakterisasi yang dilakukan meliputi kekristalan menggunakan X-ray Difractometer (XRD) dan analisa morfologi permukaan dengan Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Hasil karakterisasi menunjukan komposisi mineral kimia utama pada pada lempung asal distrik Sota adalah Illite dan silika Quartz.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil literasi sains dan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik SMP. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 3 Merauke. Metode penelitian adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan soal literasi sains dan soal keterampilan berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan profil literasi sains peserta didik kelas VII dengan rerata sebesar 34% dengan kategori rendah. Sedangkan profil keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan rerata sebesar 38,55% berada pada kategori rendah. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profil literasi sains dan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 3 Merauke dengan kategori rendah. Hal ini perlu tindakan untuk dapat meningkatkan literasi sains dan kemampuan berpikir kritis bagi peserta didik dengan menerapkan model ataupun metode yang sesuai. Perlunya bimbingan teknis ataupun pelatihan bagi guru untuk membuat instrumen literasi sains dan berpikir kritis, sehingga dapat menerapkan latiahn soal saat pembelajaran.

Abstract

his study aims to develop Pascal's law teaching aids that are suitable for high school physics learning. This type of research is R&D research and uses a 4-D development model. The product feasibility test is carried out by validating two experts. The research instrument used was a questionnaire validation sheet and data interpretation using the Ideal Standards (SBI). The results showed that the average score of the feasibility test by the validator was 89 in the "Good" category. Therefore, Pascal's law teaching aids that have been developed have been tested worthy of being tested in learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the results of developing integrated static fluid teaching materials in Google Classroom and improving students' independent learning outcomes. The research method used is research and development using the ADDIE model. The research subjects are information systems students with a total of 65 people. The instrument used is a validation sheet. In addition, it also uses a questionnaire to assess students' independent learning outcomes. The validity of the research instrument uses the product moment and the reliability uses the KR-20. The results of the validation of material experts, media experts, and linguists got an average score of 92.33. Analysis of students' self-study obtained an average score of 88. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the development of integrated static fluid teaching materials in Google Classroom can improve students' independent learning.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring yaitu adanya keterbatasan kemampuan adaptasi dan penguasaan teknologi informasi oleh guru maupun siswa, sarana dan prasarana yang kurang memadai serta guru mengalami kesulitan dalam mengontrol siswa, pembelajaran yang belum tuntas pada pokok bahasan tertentu digantikan dengan penugasan pada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis tentang penyebab kesulitan belajar kimia siswa ditinjau dari faktor internal dan faktor eksternal dalam pembelajaran daring pada materi sifat koligatif larutan di SMA Negeri 1 Tanah Miring. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif, menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 38 siswa dari seluruh kelas XII IPA. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara tes, angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki tingkat kesulitan belajar dengan kriteria cukup tinggi 3%, siswa memiliki tingkat kemampuan dengan kriteria tinggi 10%, siswa memiliki tingkat kemampuan dengan kriteria rendah 34%, siswa memiliki tingkat kemampuan dengan kriteria sangat rendah 53% hal ini terjadi karena kurangnya penguasaan siswa terhadap materi sifat koligatif larutan. Didapatkan tingkat kesulitan yang cukup tinggi berasal dari faktor internal yaitu, rendahnya minat (33%), motivasi (27%), bakat (10%), intelegensi (35%), rasa percayadiri (50%), kesehatan (92%) dan faktor eksternal yang berasal dari lingkungan keluarga (48%), lingkungan sekolah (93%), lingkungan masyarakat (66%).
