Penutur harus pandai menggunakan strategi kesantunan dalam berbicara. Hakikat kesantunan berbahasa adalah etika kita dalam bersosioalisasi di masyarakat dengan penggunaan, pemilihan kata yang baik dengan memeperhatikan dimana, kapan, kepada siapa, dengan tujuan apa kita berbicara secara santun. Di dalam debat, meskipun dituntut untuk mampu mematahkan argumen lawan debat, akan tetatpi pendebat juga harus mampu menunjukkan bahwa yang beesangkutan tetap dalam koridor kesantunan agar debat berjalan dengan lancer, seperti yang dicontohkan oleh Obama vs. Romney dalam sebuah acara debat presiden, yang menjadi objek dari penelitian ini. Bagaimana kedua peserta debat tersebut mengaplikasikan prinsip-prinsip kesantunan adalah fokus dari penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode diskriptif kualitatif sebagai desain penelitiannya dengan kerangka berpikir prinsip kesantunan berbahasa Brown dan Levinson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi Bald on record digunakan dalam situasi ketika penutur menginginkan efsiensi maksimal dari ujaran yang mereka hasilkan. Strategi kesantunan positif digunakan oleh penutur dalam kondisi dimana penutur mencoba untuk meminimalisir FTA dengan menunjukkan keakraban. Strategi kesantunan negatif digunakan dalam situasi dimana penutur ingin berfokus pada asumsi bahwa ujarannya mungkin dapat menyinggung mitra tutur. Terakhir, strategi off record digunakan untuk menghilangkan tekanan yang dirasakan oleh mitr tutur. Di antara ke empat strategi tersebut strategi kensantunan positif paling dominan digunakan oleh ke dua peserta debat.

Doing exercises regularly is useful to help improve strength, frmness, and endurance and also to avoid early aging process The best exercises to make body healthy are swimming, quick hiking, jogging, and cycling. The goal of the research was to verify the difference of inﬂuence toward aerobic and anaerobic exercises towards the change of cholesterol, cholesterol HDL and LDL as well as ratio of cholesterol HDL and LDL. The research was experimental using post test and control group. The sample was classifed into three groups, each of which consisting 10 mice and then randomly aerobic and anaerobic exercises and control group were done. The aerobic exercise by swimming used 3% burden of body weight for 13 minutes and the anaerobic exercise 9% for 0ne minute by taking rest for 3 minutes intermittently as many as 4 sets, while control group did it without exercise. Based on the data analysis, it was found that aerobic exercises was effective to reduce cholesterol, improve cholesterol of HDL and LDL, and ratio of cholesterol of HDL and LDL. In addition the aerobic exercise was better than anaerobic exercise

The ultimate goal of all government programs in education , including certifcation program is to improve the quality of education , resulting in Indonesian human resources are superior . Surprising fndings of several previous studies , that almost most teachers teach to the learning patterns of the old classical learning models. Therefore the aim of this study was to analyze factors Elementary School Teacher Diffculties In Implementing Innovative Learning Model Based On Constructivist Teaching and Learning in Elementary School Malang . The method used is to use mapping and analyzing several factors that could be expected to inﬂuence the pattern of applied learning classroom teachers . The study population is a public elementary school teacher Malang number 196 school.Tehnik scattered cluster area sampling is random sampling with a sample of 125 teacher .Analisis by mapping the data , look for the percentage of each district and for the use of multiple regression analyzes durbin Watson method .Results of Analysis states that 1 ) Map pattern of teaching is the most innovative teachers in District Blimbing 2 ) Teacher Elementary School in Malang assume that the level of diffculty of planning and implementation of innovative teaching model at the level sedang.3 ) Variables that affect the pattern of Innovative Learning constructivism is based on variable diffculty in the preparation of lesson plans and teachers’ confdence in the ability of students to do the teaching and learning process based Innovative constructivism , while 18 others are considered predictors of no effect

Spill star fruit (carambola Averrhoa L) during the harvest season to make the selling price at farmer tends to go down, so much harm to farmers starfruit. This condition gets the attention of the Provincial Government of East Java with the Development Program for Local Resource-Based Region 2009. In this program held training to overcome these problems. These training materials concerning the processing of star fruit (carambola Averrhoa L) into syrup, juice, star fruit and chips. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in fruit processing capabilities Starfruit (carambola Averrhoa L). Object of research is the trainee of the village of Mojo, Ngringinrejo, Mojosari District of Kalitidu Bojonegoro. Instruments in this study was a questionnaire. Analysis of the data in this study using percentages and t-test. The results showed no increase in fruit processing capability Starfruit (carambola Averrhoa L) which amounted to 26.23% of product knowledge, knowledge of materials 57.41%, 57.41% knowledge tools, materials selection 63.27%, 51.85% Operating tool , material processing 46.29%, and 72.96% of business expectations. Increased processing capability of star fruit (carambola Averrhoa L) by t-test on all the indicators are very signifcant.

Bahasa yang digunakan di dunia ini sangat beragam dan mempunyai karakteristik yang berbeda. Hal ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh letak geografs, latar belakang budaya maupun perbedaan bangsa. Bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa Internasional mempunyai banyak ragam dialek, misalnya dialek British dan America yang sangat menarik untuk dianalisa. Terdapat banyak perbedaan antara Bahasa Inggris British dan America dimana keduanya saling mempengaruhi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang mendeskripsikan tentang analisa dan temuan perbedaan ejaan dan arti kata Bahasa Inggris British dan America. Akhir dari penelitian ini menghasilkan deskripsi yang beragam tentang perbedaan ejaan dan arti kata antara Bahasa Inggris British dan America.

The process and learning outcomes in grades VII D SMP Negeri 1 Gandusari Blitar is not optimal yet. Marked lack of students cooperation among, crowded situation, and less productive interaction in the classroom. Learning outcomes in science, especially Biology is still unde KKM. The assessment was focused on cognitive domains. Application of Jigsaw cooperative learning model type is believed to improve learning outcomes, as the students be more active. It also can increase students responsibilities and cooperation. By using this method the students be able to respect each other. The purpose of this study is to know the increase of science SMP Negeri 1 Gandusari Blitar grade VII D. This classroom action research was carried out in SMP Negeri 1 Gandusari Blitar grade VII D with the number of 40 students consisting of 20 boys and 20 girls with a low learning outcomes. This research was conducted in three cycles. The indicator of the research is during the process the student is active, And classically 85% of students get value more than 70 ( ≥ 70). The third class-action research cycle that has been done show the improvement of SMP Negeri 1 Gandusari students grade VII D in frst semester 2009/2010 academic year.

The study aims at analyzing and describing characteristics of the students’ meta cognition process in completing calculus about function limit application to determine maximum and minimum scores through awareness, evaluation, and regulation as the components. The study involves 23 students of mathematic education department having took differential calculus as the subject. The data of the research were work result, think aloud recording, observation sheet, questionnaire response, and interview manuscript. The group work result were categorized into highly, medium, and low capable subjects. The data collected were then analyzed using comparative method of Glaser and Strauss. Based on the data analysis, it was found that characteristics of the students’ meta cognition process were categorized into highly, medium, and low capable subjects with awareness, evaluation, and regulation indicators the process of which occurred completely, respectively, completely irrespectively, and irrespectively

The goal of the study was to give solution to people of Plumbangan village Sumber Urip Wlingi Blitar through Budi Luhur community so that their coffee beans could be more expensive than before. Therefore, through the study, people there were given and facilitated special tool and machine to change the coffee bean into powder. Besides, it also gave high awareness to people in the village to improve their income. Of the activities done by the team in Sumber Urip village, it was felt by the people there that Cooperation so called Sari Bumi Tani 6 was established managed by Mrs. Wagiyem which collaborated with the chief of LMDH. In addition, the team also distributed to donate coffee roasted machine and sheeler to facilitate people to do their activities. Based on the observation and monitoring to know the impact by forming Village Cooperation and giving the facility through coffee roasted machine and sheeler, the people could their activities well and their income could exceed.

Interest from someone is influenced by many factors, namely internally and externally. Motivation is one of the thing which is coming from inside. The goal of the research is to know how far the university students’ interest and motivation are in joining with extracurricular of futsal. The study was done through survey with two free variables, interest and motivation, while the instrument used to collect data were questionaires and documentation. Based on the analysis, it was found that the students’ responses ‘strongly agree’ in terms of their interest are 44.34%, ‘agree’ 35.97%, while the rest as their responses ‘disagree’ and ‘strongly disagree’ 16.74% and 2.94% respectively. Moreover, the students’ responses ‘strongly agree’ in terms of their motivation are 46.66%, ‘agree’ 35.53%, while the rest as their responses ‘disagree’ and ‘strongly disagree’ 14.79% and 3.01% respectively. Of the result, it can be concluded that the university students had high category of both interst and motivation. Therefore, it was suggested that they could defend their godd interest and motivation.

Sejak pembelajaran kosa kata bagi mahasiswa berperan penting dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris, para dosen dituntut agar dapat menggunakan metode dan media yang tepat. Salah satu media yang penting adalah computer yang dapat memberikan dan menyediakan banyak informasi yang diberikan internet. Mahasiswa perlu belajar kosakata tidak hanya menghafalnya tetapi juga dapat belajar sesuai dengan konteks. Komputer memberikan pembelajaran visual yang mahasiswa perlukan agar dapat menerima mata kuliah yang diajarkan dengan cara yang berbeda. Dalam artikel ini, penulis ingin membahas fungsi aplikasi multimedia, khususnya internet sebagai bagian dari media teknologi terkini yang dapat menarik mahasiswa belajar dan mengembangkan kosa kata dalam bahasa Inggris. Penggabungan teknologi yang modern sangatlah penting guna menopang proses pembelajaran di kelas. Teknologi berbasis informasi ini terdiri dari video, gambar, game, grafik, audio, dan lain-lain untuk mendukung kosa kata mahasiswa sehingga mereka dapat mengembangkan kosa katanya dengan lebih mudah di kelas.
