Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of adding bamboo shoot flour to moisture content, ash content, protein, fiber, potassium and hedonic quality. The sample used that is noodles with a variation of the concentration of bamboo shoot flour 10%, 15% and 20%. This research is a quantitative research (experiment) with Completely Randomized Design (RAL) one factor with 3 treatments conducted as many as 3 times replications. The analytical technique used in this study was the analysis of variance which analyzed using SPSS version 22. The results showed that for water content, ash content, protein, fiber, potassium and hedonic quality were most preferred by panelists namely in treatment C with the addition of  bamboo shoot flour 30g

Abstract

The aims of this study is to determine the feasibility technical and economical drying of canarium nut using a cabinet dryer. This experimental design used was Completely Randomized Design factorial consisted of two factors. The first factor was drying temperature that consisted of three levels: 55OC, 60OC and 65OC. The second factor was drying time that consisted of three levels: 6 hours, 8 hours and 10 hours. Results of the study showed that drying of canarium nut using a cabinet dryer was feasible from the technical and economical aspects. The technical analysis that the quality of canarium nut the best treatment was obtained at the drying temperature of 55OC and drying time 6 hours had water content of 6,8648%, fat content of 62,54%, proteins of 14,47% and yield of 84,75%. The economical analysis resulted on B/C ratio of 1,24, NPV of Rp 284.294.897, IRR of 24%, BEP was reached at the level of production of 99,89 kg canarium nut per month and PBP was reached within 22,38 months.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of adding stevia leaves to the production of the crown god fruit tea produced and to find out the reception of the panelists on the produced crown god fruit tea. This study used a one-factor completely randomized design (CRD) method with 6 levels of treatment (Fruit crown god: Stevia leaves), namely 5: 1, 5: 2, 5: 3, 5: 4, 5: 5. The first stage is the red crown of the fruit which is sorted and then washed thoroughly. The second stage of the flesh of the god's crown is then thinly sliced and then dried. The third stage is added dry stevia leaves with various concentrations namely 1 g, 2 g, 3 g, 4 g, and 5 g. The last stage is the dried crown god fruit that has been added to the stevia leaf, brewed with 200 ml of hot water, then stirred evenly. The parameters observed were the antioxidant, polyphenol, and sugar levels. The data analysis technique used in this study was variance analysis which was then processed using SPSS version 22. The results showed that the treatment of adding stevia leaves to the antioxidant, polyphenol and total sugar levels in the treatment of the crown god fruit: Stevia leaves (5: 5) is the best treatment with an antioxidant value of 90.73%, polyphenols 0.6128 mg / ml, and total sugar content of 1.42%.

Abstract

The aims of this research was to determine the heat conductivity of river sand with different diameters as a heat transfer medium in the crackers roasting process. This research is experiment research using two types of sand diameter is big diameter sand and small diameter sand at three (3) temperature variations of 120, 140 and 160OC, and four (4) variations long of roasting is 10, 15, 20 and 25 seconds. During the roasting process do temperature measuremen on the sand and crackers, calculating the value of thermal conductivity of the sand and measurement of moisture content. The results showed that the smaller diameter of the sand cause heat transfer the faster so thermal conductivity value higher. The higher the temperature and the longer roasting process using small sand cause the heat transfer faster so the evaporation of water content in the crackers is greater. The higher the thermal conductivity value of the sand, so heat transfer is getting better.

Abstract

Manuruki Urban Village is one of the areas that have applied LONGGAR "Garden Lane" but in managing the plant has not been done maximally or not yet neatly arranged. Cultivation of crops with potted media placed along the roadside can reduce the comfort of the driver or the driver if passing through the aisle. One solution to overcome this is by planting vertically. A technology planted in a narrow space by utilizing a vertical field that is done in storied. It is expected that this vertikultur technique can change the behavior of society. Kelurahan Mannuruki Kecamatan Tamalate becomes more productive by cultivating plants through vertikultur technique. The working procedure of this tool includes nursery; The container used in seeding is using the seedling tray and for the planting medium is in the form of rockwool that can absorb water well, planting; Planting is done simultaneously to obtain uniform plant growth, maintenance; fertilizing and watering with a nutritional water AB mix with a dose of 50 ml of nutrients AB mix per 200 litter of water solution. Nutrition is done every day at least 12 hours per day to meet the nutritional needs for plants every day. The change of behavior of Manurukki Urban Village Sub Tamalate Sub-District become more productive by cultivating plants using vertikultur technique in garden aisle in narrow land use.

Abstract

This reseacrh is a classroom action research which aims to improve the learning outcomes of students. The aims of this research is; (1) to know the activity in learning of K3LH throught  giving the quiz (2) to know the results of K3LH learning after applied the method of giving the quiz (3) to know the influence of giving the quiz to the results of K3LH learning. The subject of this reseach consists of 34 students. The techniques of  collection data using observation and giving test at the end of the cycle that related to materials on teaching. Research procedures consist of: (a) planning, (b) implementation, (c)observation and (d) reflection. The data collected will be analyzed by qualitative descriptive data analysis. Based on the results of the research, it can be conclud that through giving the quiz can improve the result of students learning. That is 50% increase to 82,36% with Minimum Completeness Criterion (KKM) that is 70

Abstract

This study aims to design dryers using air from listric heating elements that can be used in the dry season and the rainy season. This tool can also reduce the use of time and power farmer in drying agricultural produce. This research is a type of engineering research, in this study was designed of a drying machine that utilizes air from listric heating elements. After the drying machine is complete, experiments are carried out to dry upon wet grain and then calculated the decrease in water content for each rack for 6 hours drying. The drying rate upon wet grain uses a dryer by utilizing air from the listric heating element for each rack is a different, the rate in drying rack  6 (1.43%), rack 5 (1.55%), rack 4 (1.75%), rack 3 (1.73%), rack 2 (2.01%), and rack 1 (2.32%)/hour, the matter shows that the distance of the rack with the heat source affects the drying rate. Air dryers of electric heating elements can reduce the use of farmers' time and power in drying one's crops the upon  wet grain, since to dry the newly harvested wet grain takes only 5-6 hours in both the dry season and the rainy season

Abstract

The objectives of classroom action research is to find out how far the achievement results of student of class X ATP SMK Negeri 6 Takalar after Think, Pair, and Share methods are applied. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The first cycle conducted four times and the second cycle conducted two times. The research subjects were all students of class X ATP consists of 24 students. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative data. The results concluded that the used of Think, Pair, and Share methods can improve the performance results of class X ATP SMK Negeri 6 Takalar. Student achievement increased measured by evaluation test of the first and second cycle

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of agricultural extension workers in increasing the income of hybrid corn farmers in the city of Parepare. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques consisting of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The number of respondents is 100 people from the total number of hybrid corn farmers in this region. The results obtained based on two indicators of efficiency, it is known that agricultural extension agents play an effective role in increasing the production and income of respondents.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what actually as an eco area as a center of ecotourism and turtle area development strategy as an ecotourism area in Tulang village Barugaiya Village Selayar Islands District. Studies show that these results show the uniformity of ecotourism land in the Coastal Area of Tulang is a location with the suitability of the turtle ecotourism location of 1.92 Ha located on station 1 and 3rd station and not 1.52 Ha in station 2. Strategy Development of turtle ecotourism with the results, determined by 10 strategies The best development of turtle ecotourism in Tulang Village Barugaiya Village Selayar Islands District, among others (1) encourage the government in terms of determining the turtle conservation area, (2) the need for more activities to provide facilities (3) socializing stakeholder spatial legislation to avoid conflict and increase community participation, (4) more importance from stakeholders for increased potential of the region, (5) training on human resources related to human resources , (6) application of understanding related to ecosystem destruction turtle nesting areas as well as law enforcement from the government, (7) spatial planning of tourist sites (8) public education about the importance of turtles, (9) planting of mangrove species and coastal vegetation (10) applying fair system in management policy
