Abstract

Based on the observations of researchers, it was found that the learning in grade II is still centered on teachers because the learning model used is lectures. This study aims to find out the results of learning when teachers use PBL learning model. This research is a Class Action Research (CAR). The results showed that the learning steps of Problem Based Learning (PBL) that can be designed by teachers include problem orientation in learners, organizing learners to learn, guiding individual or group investigations, developing and presenting works, analyzing and evaluating problem solving processes. The implementation of PBL learning model can improve the math learning outcomes of grade II students at SD Negeri 2 Somosari in the 2020/2021 school year with the completion of classical learning of learners from 36.67% in the pre-cycle to 46.67% in cycle I and 76.67% in cycle II.

Abstract

The average daily test score obtained by 20 third grade students at SD N 1 Jiwan on the material of changes in living things is only 60 and only 50% have reached the minimum learning completeness criteria of 70 (KKM). Based on the reflection carried out by the researcher, the problem was identified that (1) third grade students of SD N 1 Jiwan could not understand the material of changes in living things so that it had an impact on the lack of learning outcomes obtained by students. (2) Teachers do not use varied methods in learning, teachers only use the lecture method when doing learning. This research uses PTK. The results of this study The STAD model cooperative learning method has a positive impact in improving student learning achievement which is marked by an increase in student learning completeness in each cycle, namely cycle I (57.14%), cycle II (71.42%), cycle III (85.71%).

Abstract

This type of research is Classroom Action Research which is carried out in two cycles. Each stage of the cycle is planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collection techniques used were 1) oral reading test and written reading comprehension test, 2) observation, and 3) documentation. Based on the research results, it shows that learning to read initially using word cards as a medium can increase the reading interest of class I students at SD Negeri 2 Pundungsari. The average reading interest score in the pre-cycle was 65 and 41.67% completeness, in the first cycle it increased to 76.25 with 75% completeness, and in the second cycle it increased to 83.33 with 100% completeness. In this action, students' interest in reading with pronunciation, intonation and reading comprehension increases until they reach the predetermined criteria for completeness, namely 60. In cycle I, word cards are used with a size of 13 x 6 cm and each word is in one color, in cycle II word cards are used. the larger one, namely 18 x 6 cm and each word has word fragments separated by different colors

Abstract

Educators can improve student learning outcomes by varying learning and must be able to provide innovation in learning, such as in selecting the learning model to be used. The aim of carrying out this research is to improve learning outcomes in mathematics subjects with plane material using a project-based learning model in class 1 of SD Negeri 1 Kalikotes. The research method used in this research is classroom action research (PTK). With research subjects 10 grade 1 students at SD Negeri 1 Kalikotes. This research stage uses 3 stages, namely pre- cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2 with 2 meetings in each cycle. The results of the research state that: by implementing the project-based learning model, it can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics learning about plane shapes with a pre-cycle KKM pass percentage of 50%, cycle 1 64% and cycle 2 87%.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at Public Alementary School (SDN) Bandunghrajo 2 in Civic Education (PPKn) through an approach based on the best practice learning model, employing the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. Involving 30 students, the study gathered data through observation, interviews, and motivation tests. The implementation of the best practice learning model, incorporating interactive strategies, technology, and relevant content integration, successfully created a motivating learning environment. Results indicated a significant improvement in PPKn learning motivation throughout the CAR cycles. The research contributes to understanding the effectiveness of this approach at the Elementary School level. Practical implications provide guidance for teachers and policymakers in designing motivating learning strategies for students to actively engage in understanding the values of Pancasila and citizenship. The findings support efforts to enhance the quality of moral and citizenship education at the elementary level.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to increase students' learning motivation in science subjects in grade V elementary schools using experimental methods. The research carried out was Class Action Research (PTK) in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of two meetings. The stages of each cycle are planning, action, observation and reflection. At each meeting, observations and questionnaire tests were held to determine changes in students after giving action in cycle 1 and cycle 2. The results of research using experimental methods were proven to increase the science learning motivation of class V students at SD Negeri 1 Sajen, Trucuk. The increase can be seen in the average student learning motivation score from the initial state of 47.28, increasing in cycle I, namely 54.49, then increasing in cycle II to 65.49. These results show that the experimental method can increase students' learning motivation, especially the Class V science subject at SDN 1 Sajen.

Abstract

The implementation of the research based on interviews and observations of classroom teachers, there are still grade I students of SDN 2 Kunden whose initial reading skills are not yet fluent. The purpose of this study was to determine whether by using the SAS method and the letter media, initial reading skills have been improved. The classroom action research (CAR) approach developed by Kemmis and McTaggart was used in this study. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach as its methodology. To collect the research data used observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of this study indicate that using the SAS method and letter card media can improve the basic reading skills of grade I students, especially the results of the assessment in the first cycle, the percentage of completeness reaches 76%, then in the second cycle there is an increase to 95,2%. Therefore, it can be said that the SAS method used together with letter card media is effective in improving student’s initial reading skills.
