Abstract

Physical fitness and body composition are important indicators in determining a person's physical condition, especially Sports Science students who are required to have optimal performance. This study aims to determine the relationship between physical fitness level as measured through VO₂Max and Body Mass Index (BMI) of students of the Sports Science Study Program, University of Singaperbangsa Karawang. The research method uses a correlational quantitative approach with a sample of 60 active students of the 2021–2023 class selected through purposive sampling. VO₂Max data is collected through the 12-minute Cooper Test, while BMI is calculated based on the formula of body weight (kg) divided by height squared (m²). The results showed a significant negative relationship between VO₂Max and BMI (r = –0.613; p < 0.05), which means that the higher the BMI, the lower the level of physical fitness. These findings reinforce the theory that body composition has an effect on a person's aerobic capacity. In conclusion, college students with a normal BMI tend to have a better VO₂Max than those who are overweight. This study recommends that students maintain an active lifestyle and balanced nutrition to support optimal physical fitness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaru latihan agility ladder drill terhadap kelincahan dalam permainan bola tangan Kota Palembang. Metode yang digunkan untuk penelitian ini yaitu eksperimen. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Pengambilan sampel ini menggunakan teknik sampel purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 30 orang atlet putri bola tangan Kota Palembang. Instrumen penelitian ini yaitu tes melakukan kelincahan (dodging run) dan tembakan bola ke dalam gawang. Dari hasil pengelolaan dan analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas Kolmogorov Smirnov, uji homogen dan uji hipotesis menggunakan SPSS 26, terdapat pengaruh latihan agility ladder drill terhadap peningkatan kelincahan pemain. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil analisis data melalui perhitungan SPSS 26, yaitu nilai Sig uji hipotesis sebesar 0,000 artinya nilai tersebut lebih kecil dari pada nilai 0,05, maka latihan aility ladder drill dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kelincahan dalam permainan bola tangan. Abstract

Rizqi Farhan ( Nim 192223030), This study aims to increase respect for students participating in football extracurricular activities at SMA Negeri 1 Darma . This research is an RnD research. The results showed that there was effectiveness from the application of the training model on positive youth development through tactical training, it was proven that the results of the calculation of the t count > t table were correct. The results of this research and development are data on pretest and posttest scores using the SPSS program proved the correctness of the result of the calculation of the value of t count>t table. The result of this research and development are data on pretest and posttest values using the the SPSS program with a t count of 5,346> t table of 0,001 and a pretest > posttest value of 1166>1195. The result of this can be concluded that there is an increase in the development of the application of value -bassed soccer training models about positif youth development through educational training pretest (initial test).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan lay up shoot menggunakan tangan kanan dan tangan kiri terhadap atlet bola basket Club SMBC Kota Lubuklinggau. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian non-eksperiment dan desain penilitian komparatif. Dalam penelitian ini bermaksud untuk memberi gambaran informasi apakah ada perbandingan latihan shooting menggunakan tangan kanan dan tangan kiri terhadap hasil lay up shoot bola basket atlet Club SMBC Kota Lubuklinggau. Populasi seluruh pemain berjumlah 20 pemain dan teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling berjumlah 20 pemain, terdiri dari 10 pemain tangan kanan dan 10 pemain tangan kiri. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan survey, tes, dan pengukuran. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemain dengan tangan kanan memiliki rerata lay up shoot 9,90. Pemain dengan tangan kiri memiliki rerata lay up shoot 7,40. Berdasarkan hasil uji beda hasil lay up shoot antara tangan kanan dan tangan kiri diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,03 lebih kecil dari 0,05 (p < 0,05). Oleh karena nilai (p < 0,05), dan t hitung (3,449) lebih besar dari t tabel (2.101) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil lay up shoot tangan kanan tergolong sedang, sedangkan lay up shoot tangan kiri tergolong rendah, dan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara keduanya, di mana lay up shoot tangan kanan lebih baik dibandingkan dengan lay up shoot tangan kiri pada atlet basket club SMBC Kota Lubuklinggau.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar lari jarak pendek melalui pendekatan bermain pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Banyuasin 1. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam tes lari jarak pendek menggunakan stempel kinerja siswa yang berisi indikator kinerja siswa pada saat belajar lari jarak pendek. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Banyuasin 1 yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, lembar angket, dokumentasi, dan teknik analisis data yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.Analisis dilakukan baik untuk data observasi maupun hasil tes siswa.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terhadap siswa diperoleh hasil tes lari jarak pendek melalui pendekatan bermain untuk siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Banyuasin 1 rata-rata pencapaian pra siklus pada aspek kognitif sebesar 18,75%, efektif 64,58%, psikomotor 65,625%, sedangkan pada siklus I rata-rata pencapaian aspek kognitif 62,625%, dan efektif 69,79%, psikomotor 79,0625%. Dan pada siklus II rata-rata pencapaian pada aspek kognitif sebesar 71,87%, aspek efektif sebesar 76,73%, dan psikomotorik sebesar 82,5%. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar lari jarak pendek melalui pendekatan bermain pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Banyuasin 1. Terdapat 4 siswa yang tuntas prasiklusnya atau persentasenya sebesar 12,5%, dan siklus II siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 31 orang atau persentase 96,875%. Jadi hasil perbandingan prasiklus ke siklus II sebesar 84,3% atau meningkat 27 siswa.

Abstract

Navigasi adalah keterampilan penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, terutama bagi individu tunanetra yang menghadapi tantangan unik dalam memahami dan berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sekitar. Artikel ini membahas perkembangan teknologi dan metode yang mendukung navigasi bagi anak-anak tunanetra, baik dalam konteks pendidikan maupun kehidupan sehari-hari. Dengan menggunakan alat alat yang sederhana untuk membantu anak anak tunanetra untuk mengembangkan navigasi pada kehhidupan sehari hari. Dengan penelitian ini telah membantu meningkatkan kemandirian anak-anak tunanetra dalam bergerak dan menjelajahi lingkungan dengan lebih aman dan efektif. Selain itu, penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan alat yang sederhana dapat meningkatkan kemampuan orientasi dan mobilitas. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan alat atau kemampuan financial untuk menunjang navigasi dari anak anak tunanetra, serta pentingnya pengembangan dari alat alat sederhana yang di gunakan jauh lebih ramah anak dan mudah digunakan. Dengan adanya penelitian ini , diharapkan solusi navigasi yang lebih canggih dan terjangkau dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup anak-anak tunanetra di masa depan.

Abstract

Sports injuries are a common problem experienced by athletes due to a lack of proper warm-up and cool-down practices before and after exercise. Warming up increases body temperature, muscle flexibility, and nervous system readiness, while cooling down helps gradually lower heart rate and reduce lactic acid buildup. Both play a crucial role in maintaining physical fitness and preventing injury during sports activities. Based on this background, this study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of proper warm-up and cool-down practices in preventing sports injuries in BA Pakuan Karawang athletes. This study used a qualitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 20 female volleyball athletes as a sample. Data were obtained through questionnaires administered before and after the four-week training program. Descriptive analysis was conducted to examine changes in behavior and injury complaints before and after the intervention. The results showed a 19.8% increase in positive athlete behavior and a 42.8% decrease in injury complaints after the implementation of a structured warm-up and cool-down. These findings indicate that both training stages significantly influence injury prevention and increase athletes' physical fitness. These results align with previous research confirming that consistent warm-up and cool-down practices can improve neuromuscular performance and accelerate recovery after exercise. Thus, coaches and sports institutions are advised to make warm-ups and cool-downs a routine part of every training session to minimize the risk of injury and support optimal athlete performance.

Abstract

The independent curriculum is a curriculum with various intracurricular learning with more optimal content so that students can deepen concepts and strengthen their competencies. In the learning process the teacher has the flexibility to choose teaching tools that can be adapted to the learning needs and interests of students. So that the learning model is very influential on the success of learning. The purpose of this research is to describe the problem-based learning model in the Merdeka curriculum at SMAN 4 Malang. The method used in this article is conceptual, by searching a lot of literature from relevant books and journals. In order to achieve this, educators are required to know what level of understanding and knowledge students have as initial capital before the learning process takes place. Education has a very important role for students, one of which is physical education and sports health (PJOK). PJOK has the goal of increasing cognitive, psychomotor and affective abilities. With the optimal learning of Health Sports Physical Education, the goals of sports and health physical education can be achieved. Therefore a learning model is needed that allows students to think critically, communicate and dare to express ideas in front of the class. In reality, the learning activities for sports and health physical education at SMAN 4 Malang are still centered on the teacher, resulting in one-way communication that causes students to be passive in learning. In the independent curriculum, one of the learning models is Problem-Based Learning (PBL) which is a learning method characterized by the existence of a problem reality as a context for students to learn critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and acquire knowledge

Abstract

Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) is an essential part of the education system, focusing not only on students' physical growth but also on shaping their character values. Students gain hands-on experience that fosters positive attitudes such as discipline, responsibility, cooperation, honesty, and sportsmanship through various games, sports, and physical activities. PJOK learning enables students to interact socially, appreciate differences, and learn to persevere when faced with difficulties. Furthermore, PJOK enhances emotional skills such as self-control and respect for rules. This includes enhancing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor self-confidence. PJOK also helps build emotional skills such as self-control, respect for rules, and self-confidence. Therefore, PJOK not only helps improve motor skills and physical fitness but also helps build a balanced character across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. This aligns with the national education goal of creating a healthy, competitive generation with noble qualities that benefit society, the nation, and the state.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of implementing the Sport Education Model (SEM) on students’ learning outcomes in Physical Education at SMA Negeri 1 Kota Tasikmalaya. The research was conducted in response to the need for more authentic, student-centered, and engaging instructional models that enhance the quality of Physical Education learning. Using an ex post facto design, the study employed a random class sampling technique to select participants, consisting of two groups: students taught using SEM and those taught through conventional methods. Learning outcomes were obtained from teachers’ assessment records, covering cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Data analysis included normality and homogeneity tests followed by an independent samples t-test. The findings revealed a significant difference between the two groups, with the SEM group achieving higher mean learning outcomes than the non-SEM group. These results indicate that SEM is effective in improving student learning outcomes by fostering motivation, engagement, and meaningful learning experiences. The study recommends broader and more systematic implementation of SEM in Physical Education to further enhance student achievement
