Abstract

The development and economic growth of the Indonesian people in today's increasingly modern era of globalization has made work the main factor in meeting human needs and improving the quality of human life. Currently, work has become the main requirement for every human being, both men and women who are married or have a family. This can lead to multiple roles or commonly known as work family conflict. If an individual already has work family conflict, it will increase the workload they have and will cause work stress which can lead to turnover intention. This study aims to examine the effect of work family conflict and workload on work stress which affects turnover intention in employees of PT GCU Jakarta Head Office. This study uses a quantitative approach to the survey method. The subjects of this study were 130 employees of PT GCU, Jakarta Head Office. Data analysis techniques using structural equation models (SEM) assisted with the SmartPLS version 4.0 software program. The results of this study indicate that all variables have positive effect to each other. The research shows there is an implication between the results and affect event theory. The emotional that employees have might be influence their work when they are not unable to balance the stress of their work and their family. The suggestion to future research is to analyze what the company can do to decrease turnover intention rate because of work family conflict in their employees

Abstract

This study aims to determine the comparisons and factors that distinguish the financial performance of cigarette companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2021. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive technique using financial ratio analysis. Meanwhile, to determine the weight of a good or bad assessment of a cigarette company's financial performance, it is determined by calculating financial ratios based on an analysis of financial statements according to cashmere in 2018, 2019 and Jumingan in 2014. The final results of the study show that: (1) PT. Gudang Garam Tbk. shows that the company's financial performance is in the unhealthy category. (2) PT. Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk. shows that the company's financial performance is in the healthy category. (3) PT. Bentoel Internasional Investama Tbk. shows that the company's financial performance is in the unhealthy category. (4) PT. Wismilak Inti Makmur Tbk. shows that the company's financial performance is in the fairly healthy category. Based on the research results, it is suggested that companies can improve their existing performance, especially on the indicators Current Ratio, Quick Ratio, cash Ratio, DAR, DER, ROA, ROE, accounts receivable turnover, total assets, working capital

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out whether social responsibility has been carried out in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 40 of 2007, as well as to find out how the form of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Reporting, as well as what are the obstacles in carrying out social responsibility. The type of data used in this study is primary data with data collection methods using qualitative analysis techniques, in the form of interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results of data analysis and discussion show that the company has not been able to meet the maximum interval of 3% of the amount of CSR funds stipulated in Law No. 40 of 2007, as well as in the form of CSR reports carried out by the company, which include annual reports, management reports, and sustainability reports on social activities and the costs realized are more disclosed in management reports and sustainability reports (Sustainability Report). While in the annual report it is only recorded as an administrative expense. This is an obstacle where CSR is carried out by the company as a burden not as a profit for the company. So that the company has implemented the application of social responsibility accounting is not in accordance with the amount of CSR funds has not been in accordance with standardization

Abstract

This research focuses on implementing the Random Forest and Grid Search algorithms for the early detection of diabetes mellitus, aiming to modernize and enhance medical practices using technology. The proposed model achieved an accuracy of 77.06%, a precision of 71.43%, a recall of 47.30%, and a misclassification error of 22.94%. Comparative analysis with other data mining algorithms, including Decision Tree, Random Forest without Grid Search, and Cat Boost, demonstrated that the Random Forest with Grid Search algorithm outperformed the others. By utilizing Grid Search, the accuracy of the Random Forest algorithm increased by 2.03%. These findings indicate the potential effectiveness of machine learning in early diabetes detection. While the research offers promising results, there are limitations in terms of the dataset size and the number of detection variables used. Future studies should explore larger datasets and alternative algorithms to further enhance accuracy and aid in the early detection of diabetes mellitus.

Abstract

The objectivity of this study includes 3 (three) investigations, namely (1) the implications of Islamic label attributes on financial flexibility, (2) the impact of a combination of Islamic labels and capital structure conservatism on financial flexibility, and (3) the interaction of Islamic labels and cash holding on financial flexibility. By observing 225 companies during the period 2012 – 2021 and using the Generalized Method of Moment (GMM) analysis technique, the results of the study found that the attribute of the Islamic label contributed to financial flexibility. Examination of the impact of the combination of Islamic Label (IL) and capital structure conservatism on financial flexibility shows that IL capital structure conservatism does not contribute to an increase in financial flexibility. However, cash holding IL has the potential to become a source of financial flexibility.

Abstract

Financial reporting standards for non-profit organizations are not explicitly regulated in Financial Accounting Standards (SAK), but the Accounting Standards Board (DSAK) issued Interpretation of Financial Accounting Standards (ISAK) 35. ISAK 35 contains guidance for the Presentation of Financial Statements of Non-profit Oriented Entities. The foundation is a part of a non-profit organization. This study aims to determine the arrangement, form and content of financial statements in one of the foundations of non-profit organizations in Jakarta based on ISAK 35. This research method uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method to analyze the application of ISAK 35 to one of the foundations in Jakarta, related to the presentation of financial statements non-profit-oriented entity for the 5 years in the period 20X1-20X5. The results of this study indicate that the foundation's financial reports are not in accordance with applicable standards and there is weak internal control over financial transactions

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate how Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM)  algorithms can be used to predict student graduation on time. This research uses student data from Universitas Prima Indonesia (UNPRI) Medan to build a prediction model. ANN and SVM methods have been applied and compared to see the performance of each model. The test results show that the SVM model is superior in terms of accuracy and computational speed compared to the ANN model. In addition, the test results also show that the SVM model can be used to predict student graduation on time with an accuracy of 96.34%. This result shows that the SVM model is more effective in predicting student graduation on time compared to the ANN model

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with potential subtropical areas for the development of primary plantation commodities. One of Indonesia's main plantation commodities is coffee. This study aims to determine the effect of International Coffee Prices (x1), Rupiah Exchange Rates (x2), Competitor Commodity Prices (cocoa) (x3) on the value of Indonesian coffee exports (Y).In this study using quantitative descriptive analysis with the type of time series data in which the data is arranged in a time series. The results showed that the Rupiah Exchange Rate had a significant effect on Coffee Exports in Indonesia in 2003 – 2022. The acquisition of the Rupiah exchange rate benefited the economy because according to the theory the price of goods in the country was cheaper when compared to prices in other countries. This condition causes coffee exports to increase. International coffee prices have a significant effect on coffee exports in Indonesia in 2003 - 2022. Furthermore, competing commodity prices (cocoa) have no effect on coffee exports in Indonesia in 2003-2022 and together international coffee prices, the rupiah exchange rate and commodity prices Competitors have a significant effect on coffee exports in Indonesia in 2003-2022
