Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze Participatory Governance in Village Development Planning (Musrenbangdes) of Pao Pao Village, Tanete Rilau District, Barru Regency which includes Deliberation, Action, Monitoring, Centralized Coordination and Power, School of Democracy and Outcomes. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study design. The case is the development planning meeting (Musrembang) in Barru Regency. Research data collection was carried out by observation, interview and document study methods. Data were analyzed using several steps according to the theory of Miles, Huberman and Saldana (2014), namely analyzing data in three steps: data condensation, presenting data, and drawing conclusions or verification. Data condensation refers to the process of selecting, narrowing, simplifying, summarizing, and transforming data. The 2022 Barru Regency RKPD Musrenbang in the Regency which is also called the Kecamatan Musrenbang is a stakeholder Deliberation Forum to discuss and agree on steps for handling priority program activities listed in the list of proposed Village/Kelurahan development activity plans that are integrated with the regional development priorities of Barru Regency in district area. The stages of the deliberation aspect are expressed by the stages of decision-making and the ideas of stakeholders as the main ideas in the decision-making process. This process must properly be tested as a fair assessment, based on public issues that need to be resolved in the sense that decisions are really important to the public. society is not a thing that benefits a handful of parties.

Abstract

Determining the center of growth in a region has a very important role in determining the direction of policies and regulations for the central and regional governments in carrying out regional development. Determination of growth centers has a function for equitable distribution of development in all regions, facilitating coordination between regions and maximizing the management of existing potential and natural resources. This study aims to determine the effect of government spending, investment and city economic growth to the surrounding districts through the city's economic growth. This study used Path Analysis with the software used, AMOS, to perform data processing and analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is no effect of government spending in three cities, namely the cities of Makassar, Parepare and Palopo to the surrounding districts indirectly through the city's economic growth and there is investment effect from the city of Makassar to the surrounding districts indirectly through the economic growth of the city of Makassar.

Abstract

As significant numbers of Gen Z entering and becoming the majority of the workforce, understanding their unique characteristics, preferences, and motivations is crucial for organizations to effectively manage and engage this generations. This qualitative article delves into the factors affecting Generation Z (Gen Z) employees' performance at work. Despite the existence of well-established research in factors influencing employee performance, there is a notable dearth of a comprehensive review that explores this topic particularly within the context of Gen Z employees. To bridge this theoretical gap, a systematic literature review was undertaken, meticulously gathering pertinent data from scientific articles spanning the period between 2013 and 2022. Utilizing keywords such as motivation, work motivation, job satisfaction, work environment, employee performance, and generation-z, a sistematic process was employed to identify and collect scholarly literature. Following a thorough selection and screening procedure, a refined set of 20 journal articles was meticulously included in the review. The discerned findings underscore the utmost significance of job satisfaction, motivation, leadership team and organizational culture as critical determinants of the performance levels exhibited by Z-generation employees

Abstract

The success of an organization cannot be separated from the management of reliable and professional human resources (HR), so that the organization can achieve success in achieving the goals that have been set. HR management must be directed at efforts that are able to explore the potential of human resources in order to make a positive contribution to the organization in the form of optimal individual and team performance. Good performance will certainly increase the value of the company through the level of service and the quality of goods or services offered by the company. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of workload on employee performance at PT GIEB Indonesia, and to analyze the moderating effect of compensation on the effect of workload on employee performance at PT GIEB Indonesia. The research design is quantitative with correlational research type. Sampling using saturated sampling, namely all employees of PT. GIEB Indonesia Denpasar as many as 39 people. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents. Data analysis techniques using SEM-PLS with the help of Smart PLS software. Research conclusions include: 1) Workload has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT GIEB Indonesia. This shows that the higher the employee's workload, it will motivate employees to work better so that they can show better performance; and 2) Compensation is not able to moderate the influence of workload on employee performance. Abstract

The rapid development of the times, humans face various types of diseases that exist, even some of these types of diseases can be fatal and even death, one of the most famous diseases is diabetes mellitus. Diabetic ulcers are caused by diabetes mellitus. The risk of people with diabetes mellitus is 29 times that there will be diabetic ulcer complications, and the potential to experience diabetic ulcers is 15-25% during their lifetime and within 5 years has a recurrence rate of 50-70%. This research uses the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm with the Gray Level Co-Occurrence model which is the extraction of image or texture features from images. Using the calculate_glcms(image) function to calculate some features of the GLCM matrix given an image as input. GLCM: greycomatrix(image,[1], [0, np.pi/4, np.pi/2,3 np.pi/4], levels=256, symmetric=True, normed=True) calculates the GLCM matrix of the image with pixel distance 1 and angle 0, np.pi/4, np.pi/2, and3 np.pi/4. Conclusion of this research is the test result matrix, the accuracy is 0.94 (94%), precision 0.928, recall 0.905, F-1 Score 0.907 and support of 66.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the Effect of Character Education on the Emotional Intelligence of Medicom Informatics and Computer Academy Students. This study uses two variables consisting of one dependent variable, namely Emotional Intelligence (Y), while the independent variable is Character Education (X1). The type of research used is explanatory research through associative research, namely research that aims to explain the influence of two or more variables. The sample in this study was 140 people. The data collection method was carried out through questionnaires and literature studies. Data analysis was carried out by testing data quality (validity and reliability), the classic assumption test, the t test (partial test), and the F test (simultaneous test). The results of this study showed that The Effect of Character Education on the Emotional Intelligence of Medicom Informatics and Computer Academy Students is positive, with a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.749 and a determination coefficient (Rsquare) of 0.561. This means that Character Formation (Y) is influenced by 56% of Character Education.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to learn more about the West Miomaffo District, North Central Timor Regency's horticultural farmers' motivation, training, production capabilities, and performance. With a population of 4,160 and a sample of 94 respondents, this study falls within the quantitative research area. The descriptive analysis's findings demonstrate that farmers had positive perceptions of the factors of motivation, training, production capabilities, and farmer performance. While the results of the inferential analysis demonstrate a significant linear relationship between Horticultural Farmer Performance (Y) and the variables Motivation (X1), Training (X2), and Production Facilities (X3), the results of the t test demonstrate a positive correlation between each of these variables and Horticultural Farmer Performance (Y).

The data used in this study is primary data obtained through a survey of Batam City SMEs using a questionnaire with a purposive sampling method. The sample used was 250 MSME actors. The analytical method used in this study is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that facilitating conditions, habits, and behavioral intentions directly affect the use behavior variable. Cultural factors of individualism/collectivism, uncertainty avoidance, and long-term orientation also managed to moderate the influence of behavioral intention variables on user behavior.
