City parks are the main resource in improving the quality of the environment, therefore a good and quality city park is needed to improve the quality and quality of health. One of the efforts to get a quality and good park location is to choose the location of the opening of the park properly. The decision support system carried out at the Medan City Park Service is still conventional which is only based on certain elements so that the assessment is still subjective. Based on these problems, in this study a decision support system was developed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method for determining the location of urban park development. This system uses user-defined criteria and intensity, processed with AHP calculations, and produce a list of assessments for each city park location that will be selected. The results of testing this decision support system state that the system has been running correctly, so this system can be used to assist leaders in making more objective decisions on choosing the location of city parks.

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and product quality on customer purchase decision in CV. Surya Indah Jaya Medan with price as a variable intervention. This type of research is explanatory research. The population in this study were all customers of CV. Surya Indah Jaya, totaling 7,311 customers. The technique of determining the sample is to use the 10% significant slovin technique so that as many as 99 samples are obtained. In the study which will be distributed with questionnaires measured by a Likert scale. The data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis and the coefficient of determination as well as simultaneous test and partial test. The results showed that service quality and product quality have a significant effect on customer purchase decision in CV. Surya Indah Jaya Medan with price as a variable intervention.

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation, leadership and supervision on the work discipline of employees of CV. Golden Seafresh Medan. This type of research is explanatory research. The population in this study were all employees of CV. Golden Seafresh has 59 employees. The technique of determining the sample uses a saturated sample. In this study, the questionnaire will be distributed as measured by a Likert scale. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis and coefficient of determination as well as simultaneous and partial tests. The results showed that compensation, leadership, and supervision partially or simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on employee work discipline on CV. Golden Seafresh. Based on the results of this study, the implication for management is to be able to adjust compensation, leadership style and implementation of better supervision.

This study aims to determine the effect of price and product quality on purchase decision of PT. Gunung Sentosa Sumatera Utama Industri. This type of research is explanatory research. The population in this study were all customers of PT. Gunung Sentosa Sumatera Utama Industri, with a total of 213 customers. The technique for determining the sample is using the slovin technique with a tolerance level of 5% so that a total of 139 samples are obtained. In the study which will be distributed with questionnaires measured by a Likert scale. The data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis and the coefficient of determination as well as simultaneous test and partial test. The results showed that price and product quality partially or simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on purchase decision of PT. Gunung Sentosa Sumatera Utama Industri. Based on the results of this study, the implications for management are to further improve price and product quality.

The decentralization scheme has become a familiar issue around the world for the last 2 decades. Gaps between the degree of decentralization around the world seem true, but still have no agreement towards the question relating to which country is more decentralized? Because of the difference between meaning and sizing in various research. Actually, a proper evaluation to determine the degree of decentralization in a country could undertake on the condition that an inclusive method is acquired instead of simplifying its complex characteristic into solitary measure of autonomy. The interrelation between those various measures of decentralization is considerable. Thus, it should be noticed that there is none of one-size-fits-all index of the degree of decentralization in a country. Because there's a wide variety of research towards it, though there is also literature on decentralization outcomes. The results have been mixed not only because decentralization can take many shapes and mix in different countries, moreover it is due to the various tool which might unusual results under diverse conditions. Thus, reaching a precise definition of decentralization and linking it to specific research is neither possible nor desirable because the simple premise generalizes everything and produces pitfalls that can be vague instead of clarify those facts. What else more significant than the need of an actual contexts but in appropriate methods which go beyond the truth by deed such as spending decentralization and considering the political and institutional background for particular issues on trial.

Pair programming is an old yet effective method in solving programming problems in the computer science field. Here, at Institut Teknologi Del, we employed this method in the early programming courses to help the students master the learning objectives and practice them by solving problems in a collaborative manner. The COVID-19 pandemic was started in early 2020, it threatened almost every sector in our lives including education. Students were sent home and the learning process was forced to switch from in-person to distancing learning. This situation was a true challenge for our traditional pair programming approach where the students used to work together side-by-side. We then adapt the approach to fit the distributed setting. In this paper, we would like to share our experience in applying distributed pair programming, the problems we faced, and the strategies we employed to achieve the highest learning impacts.

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and discipline on employee achievement of PT. Chayani Megajaya Mandiri. This type of research is explanatory research. The Population in this study were all employees of PT. Chayani Megajaya Mandiri, totaling 63 employees. The sampling technique is to use a saturated sample where the entire population will be used as the research sample. In the study which will be distributed with questionnaires measured by a Likert scale. The data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis and the coefficient of determination as well as simultaneous test and partial test. The results showed that motivation and discipline partially or simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee achievement of PT. Chayani Megajaya Mandiri. Based on the results of this study, the implications for management are to further improve motivation and discipline.

PT. Djasa Sumatra is a company engaged in shipping freight forwarding services. This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline and work loyalty on the work performance of employees of PT. Djasa Sumatra. This type of research is explanatory research. The population in this study were all employees who worked at PT. Djasa Sumatra as many as 57 employees. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. In this study, the questionnaire will be distributed as measured by a Likert scale. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis and coefficient of determination as well as simultaneous and partial tests. The results showed that work discipline and work loyalty partially or simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on the work performance of PT. Djasa Sumatra. Based on the results of this study, the implication for management is to further improve work discipline and work loyalty.

This study aims to determine the effect of product, price, promotion and place on purchase decision at PT. Alfa Scorpii Setia Budi Medan. This type of research is explanatory research. The population in this study were all consumers of PT. Alfa Scorpii Setia Budi branch totaling 517 consumers. The technique for determining the sample is using the Slovin formula for an error tolerance level of 10% so that 84 samples are obtained. In the study which will be distributed with questionnaires measured by a Likert scale. The data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis and the coefficient of determination as well as simultaneous test and partial test. The results showed that product, price, promotion and place partially or simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on consumer purchase decision at PT. Alfa Scorpii Setia Budi Medan. Based on the results of this study, the implications for management are to further improve quality for each product, determine a better price, update the promotion to make it look attractive and provide even more attractive places.

This study aims to determine the effect of incentives and work stress on employee performance during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was conducted at Kebon Tanah Raja PTPN IV. The number of samples in this study were 51 people. Data was collected using a questionnaire in accordance with the indicators of each variable used. The data obtained were then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that incentives and work stress simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results of the t test show that incentives and work stress have a significant effect on employee performance. Incentive factors have a more dominant influence on employee performance compared to work stress.
