Abstract

The descriptive statistics research results show that three variables fall into the unfavorable category: financial satisfaction, psychological satisfaction, and turnover intention. In contrast, other variables fall into the excellent category. Analysis through inferential statistics shows that all job satisfaction variables influence turnover intention. While partially, two of the four job satisfaction variables, namely physical and psychological satisfaction, impact turnover intention, where psychological satisfaction has the most significant influence value. Judging from the correlation, the dependent variable, job satisfaction, has a strong relationship with the level of turnover intention. The study aims to analyze the digital divide based on four stages of using digital technology, which are motivation, physical access and material access, mobile banking skills, and usage. The author uses quantitative methods with the PLS-SEM multivariate analysis technique to determine the relationship between predetermined variables. For data processing, the author uses WarpPLS 8.0 where the data processed is based on samples taken through non-probability sampling using the purposive sampling method with a total of 300 respondents taken from part of the population of Bandung City who use mobile banking applications. Based on research that has been carried out by the author, it was obtained that the variables motivation, physical access and material access, mobile banking skills, and usage are stated to be significant. This shows that there is no digital divide in the use of mobile banking applications in the city of Bandung.

Abstract

Research on the consumption behavior toward halal products is interesting to study, not only because most of the population in Indonesia is Muslim but also because several previous studies’ findings have mixed results, creating a loophole for finding research gaps. This research, therefore, aims to examine several factors influencing the purchase intention of halal products. The sample involved 100 millennial youth represented by the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) students, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS). The test results demonstrated that the three variables impacted purchase intention, i.e., halal awareness, halal logo, and attitude. These results become opportunities and challenges for producers and marketers to spur the role of these three variables to impact the intention to purchase halal products positively. In addition, limitations and suggestions for further research are presented to support theoretical deepening and understanding of the development of research models.
