Abstract

This research aims to evaluate several aspects, namely: 1) How the role of Kiai leadership can strengthen the moderation attitude of students at the Raudlatul Muta'alimin Islamic Boarding School, 2) Concrete actions taken by Kiai leadership, 3) How Kiai leadership evaluates this process. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies. The data collection process involved interviews, observation, and document analysis. Data analysis was carried out through the steps of data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity is tested through the credibility, dependability and certainty of the data. The results of the research reveal several things, including: first, Kiai Pondok Pesantren Raudlatul Muta'alimin carries out his role as a leader with four main functions, including as a direction setter, agent of change, spokesperson and coach. Kiai use situational leadership styles, such as delegation, guidance, and direction, to achieve leadership effectiveness. Second, Kiai's efforts to form a moderation attitude among students involve studying the yellow book and emphasizing the curriculum. Third, the implementation of Kiai's leadership in strengthening the santri's moderation attitude at the Raudlatul Muta'alimin Islamic Boarding School went without significant obstacles, in line with Kiai's expectations, and the santri succeeded in internalizing the moderation attitude in their daily lives. Abstract

The Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) method is employed to modify children's behavior, particularly those with autism, emphasizing positive reinforcement and firmness without resorting to violence. At SDIT Permata, the ABA method is applied in the Al-Qur'an learning process with the aim of assisting autistic children in understanding the Arabic alphabet and memorizing the Quran. This approach involves direct learning, creating specific situations, and conducting instructional activities. The Amanah Foundation, founded by Mr. Ir. Agung Sasongko, supports inclusive education as an expression of compassion for children with special needs. This research aims to explore the implementation of the ABA method in Quranic learning for autistic children at SDIT Permata and identify supporting and inhibiting factors. The research methodology employed in this study is descriptive qualitative field research. The results indicate that the implementation of the ABA method involves direct approaches, specifically designed situations, and instructional activities. Teachers provide consistent instructions, utilize positive reinforcement, and offer guidance based on individual needs. Supporting factors include teacher involvement, praise, and learning through planned situations, while inhibiting factors involve tantrums, difficulties in interaction, and unstable emotional conditions in children. This research is expected to contribute positively to the development of inclusive education in Indonesia. Keywords:  ABA Method; Quranic Learning; Autistic Children.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the role of religious figures in instilling good morals in the fishing community in Tongas Wetan Village, Tongas District, Probolinggo Regency. Religious figures have a very important role in guiding and providing direction to the community so that they always behave well and avoid inappropriate behavior. The research approach used in this research is qualitative with a case study type of research. Research informants include: religious leaders, community leaders, and residents. The results of the research show that the role of religious figures in instilling morals in the fishing community of Tongas Wetan Village is as leaders, role models (uswah hasanah), and guides (mentors). Being a leader means not only leading congregational prayers but also providing spiritual and social guidance. Being a role model means being able to become a figure and moral guide for society who reflects religious values ​​in daily actions. Being a mentor means actively providing guidance in religious and social activities and implementing Islamic teachings. Abstract

This research describes the habituation of Asmaul Husna values ​​carried out at MI Nur Aziz Probolinggo to build students' religious character through the implementation of Asmaul Husna values. This research uses a qualitative approach methodology with the research object being MI Nur Aziz Probolinggo students. Data collection techniques use interview, observation and documentation methods. The Asmaul Husna text in this study uses a sample of Asmaul Husna which is applied by teachers to students by practicing the values ​​of daily reading. The research results show that students' religious character is through internalizing the values ​​of Asmaul Husna, namely Ar-Rahman so that students can develop a sense of love, Ar-Rahim so that students can develop a sense of compassion, Al-Malik with leadership and discipline behavior at school, Al-Hamiid carry out commendable behavior at school, Al-Adl behaves fairly towards others, Al-Latiif behaves gently towards others, Al-Halim behaves with good manners, Al-Jami' behaves responsibly towards the tasks given, Al-Afuw forgives each other among others, As-Shabuur behaved patiently in all the trials he faced Keywords:  Asmaul Husna; Religious Character; Value Habituation.

Abstract

  This article is an opinion based on the author's previous research on the development of learning media. PAI teachers can increase learning motivation through tiktok media by creating creative educational content, utilizing popular trends, and encouraging student participation through related challenges or projects. Short video formats can be used for concise and interesting delivery, with the addition of music and various features to capture students' attention. Collaborative strategies, the use of custom hashtags, and adapting the curriculum to tiktok trends can help build a dynamic and relevant learning community. The tiktok application comes with subtitles from the community, and ironically Gen Z really likes this application. The tiktok application can be a fun and interesting learning medium. The use of the tiktok application as an interactive learning medium aims to enable students to understand and evaluate the learning process carried out by the teacher. Learning media allows teachers to express what cannot be taught, so that the learning process becomes more effective and efficient. The tiktok application allows teachers to easily create interactive learning that can adapt to the situation, environment and students' conditions. Abstract

This resarch has an important objective, namely to find an overview of the strategies of Islamic Religious Education teachers in increasin student religiosity at SMPN 2 Sumberasih, Probolinggo Regency. This research uses qualitative research or field studies with the main source reffering to PAI teachers in strategies to increase students’ religiosity scores at the school. Data collection techniques in this research used the stages of observation, interviews, documentation, analysis and drawing conclusions. Researchers also concluded that the PAI teacher at SMPN 2 Sumberasih, Probolinggo Regency has the following strategy; The first provide examples of good morals to students every day. The second guide students in every activity so that students can receive a positive impact in every religious activity carried out. And third Encourage students to carry out and practice raligious habits implemented at school. The methods used  by PAI teachers in implementing strategies to increase students’ religious values use the methods of inspiration, habitutaion, sanctions and rewards. Abstract

This research explores the role of parents and school principals in developing student morals at MTS Zahrotul Islam Tegalrejo Dringu Probolinggo. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation at a school. Qualitative analysis was carried out to process field data with the steps of Data Collection, Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Drawing Conclusions. The focus of the research is the validity of data regarding "The Role of Parents and Principals in Developing Student Morals at MTS Zahrotul Islam Tegalrejo Dringu Probolinggo." Research findings show that close collaboration between parents and school principals has a positive impact in shaping students' character and morals, as well as creating a learning environment that is oriented towards ethical values. Several key factors that support successful collaboration include open communication between parents and the school, the role of the principal as a moral leader, and active participation of parents in school activities. This research provides insight into strategies that can be implemented to improve student moral development. It is hoped that the implications of this research can contribute to parents, teachers and schools by understanding the roles played by parents and school principals. It is hoped that schools can develop more holistic programs to shape student character. In addition, this research highlights challenges in implementing moral development, such as differences in cultural values between home and school. The success of developing student morals is very dependent on cooperation and mutual commitment between parents and the school. Keywords:  Role; Moral Development

Abstract

Gus Dur (KH Abdurrahman Wahid) and Syafi'i Ma'arif, as Muslim intellectuals who came from Nahdlatul Ulama and Muhammadiyah, had very valuable ideas, including in the context of pluralist education. Gus Dur and Syafi'i Ma'arif's perspective on pluralism education reflects a deep understanding and values such as tolerance, diversity and respect for differences in society. Here are some important aspects in both views. In Gus Dur's perspective, the main focus lies on tolerance and diversity. He emphasized the importance of equality and understanding religion as the foundation for a harmonious life. On the other hand, Syafi'i Ma'arif focuses on multicultural education and humanist education. Although there are differences in approach between the two, there are similarities in their views. These two figures have the common goal of avoiding conflict, as well as building awareness and integration of religious values in society. Abstract

The Ministry of Religion, in response to the high divorce rate, has undertaken various initiatives aimed at sustaining family resilience. One such initiative is the Sakinah Family Service Center Program (Pusaka Sakinah), which seeks to enhance the role of the KUA in safeguarding Indonesian families from divorce. This article emphasizes the need to assess the implementation of the Pusaka Sakinah program by the KUA, including the strategies for advancement and the execution of counseling programs. Employing qualitative methods, this research conducted case studies focused on KUA Besuk. The study revealed several key findings: firstly, while enhancing the KUA's role in fostering sakinah families is achievable through the Pusaka Sakinah program, ensuring the sustainability of the program is challenging due to the KUA's heavy reliance on external funding. Secondly, there are limited initiatives and innovations because the concept of the Pusaka Sakinah program is not fully comprehended and has been misinterpreted during the restructuring of KUA, resulting in confusion, reduction, and even rejection of programs perceived as burdensome by KUA. Thirdly, there is still inadequate synergy in the implementation of the program with similar initiatives undertaken by other ministries and local governments. Abstract

The implementation of the PAI learning model based on Islamic values to increase students conceptual understanding at UIM needs to be researched and explored scientifically, considering that PAI is the foundation of Islamic education to produce graduates who are by the Islamic management of the UIM Institution and have the ahlussunnah waljamaah bent. However, in reality, phenomena are presented that are often not by Islamic rules and teachings, this is the reason why this research is necessary to carry out this research. While the research approach used is qualitative phenomenological, the data sources in this research are UIM residents taken randomly by researchers such as students, lecturers, and employees. The validity of the data is to convince the researcher that the data obtained is valid, the researcher uses the concept of triangulation. The research results show that the Islamic Values-Based PAI Learning Model is carried out holistically in the learning process, which does not only focus on conceptual understanding and material but also on students themselves and the application of Islamic values in real life. Meanwhile, the impact of students' conceptual understanding has a positive impact on religious concepts and the ability to relate these concepts to the context of everyday life. Meanwhile, intensive interaction between lecturers and students as well as space for discussion and reflection in the learning process makes a significant contribution to the effectiveness of the Islamic Values-based PAI education and learning model. The implementation of the PAI learning model based on Islamic values can be used as a reference for lecturers and curriculum managers to improve the quality of Islamic religious education at the Islamic higher education level.
