Abstract

Hospitals as healthcare providers have now shifted towards a profit-oriented approach. The wide variety of services offered by hospitals to patients makes patients more selective in choosing products from providers that meet their needs and expectations. In marketing strategy, there are many efforts, one of which is through physical evidence. This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy based on physical evidence at Tk. IV Singaraja Hospital. This research uses a qualitative method. Research informants were selected using purposive sampling techniques, with the main informants consisting of the hospital director, head of the marketing unit, head of the outpatient unit, and head of the inpatient unit, as well as 10 patients for triangulation. Data collection was carried out through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and document analysis. The research findings revealed that the hospital's exterior facility still uses old buildings, the interior facility has well-maintained interior design, and the other tangible elements, such as pamphlets, brochures, and staff uniforms, are already provided by the hospital. Keywords: Marketing Strategy, Physical Evidence.

Abstract

The study explores strategies for digital banking platforms in Indonesia, emphasizing scenario planning to address future challenges. Indonesia’s digital banking sector, propelled by technological growth and changing consumer preferences, faces critical challenges such as regulatory fluctuations, intense competition, cybersecurity risks, and low financial literacy. Using Allo Bank as a case study, this research employs PESTLE and SWOT analyses, along with scenario planning, to evaluate strategic responses to key uncertainties in regulation, consumer behavior, and technology. The findings reveal that scenario-based planning enhances adaptability in digital banking, enabling Allo Bank to proactively navigate market complexities and leverage opportunities. Key recommendations include investment in regulatory compliance, technology for secure digital operations, and continuous innovation to maintain competitiveness in a volatile regulatory environment. This study underscores the importance of adaptive strategies for sustained growth in Indonesia’s dynamic digital banking ecosystem.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of budget planning and financial accountability on the performance of financial managers partially and simultaneously. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research population consisted of 41 financial managers in the agency, and the sample was drawn using the saturated sample method. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires designed to measure budget planning variables, financial accountability, and financial manager performance. The collected data will be analyzed using SPSS software, with analysis steps that include descriptive tests to describe the characteristics of respondents, as well as validity and reliability tests to ensure the accuracy of the research instruments. Furthermore, multiple linear regression analysis will be carried out to test the influence of each independent variable on the dependent variable, as well as hypothesis testing through the t-test to determine the individual influence and the F test. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that budget planning and financial accountability have a significant influence on the performance of financial managers at the Office of the Ministry of Religion of Makassar City. Good budget planning allows for more efficient allocation of resources and alignment with organizational goals. Meanwhile, accountable financial accountability ensures that every use of the budget can be accounted for, increasing trust and transparency in financial management. Simultaneously, good financial planning and accountability create synergies that have a positive impact on an organization's financial performance, demonstrating that both are key pillars in effective and efficient financial management.

Abstract

This study examines operational inefficiencies within the outpatient pharmacy at Premier Jatinegara Hospital, focusing on declining prescription coverage and its impact on patient care and hospital revenue. Using the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) framework, the research systematically identifies key problem areas and proposes targeted improvement strategies. Internal analysis revealed issues such as frequent stockouts, inadequate real-time inventory management, workflow inefficiencies, and staffing shortages during peak hours. External analysis highlighted patient dissatisfaction due to long waiting times and supply chain disruptions caused by unreliable suppliers. To address these challenges, the study proposes a comprehensive improvement strategy focusing on upgrading the hospital’s data management system, implementing real-time inventory tracking, redesigning workflows, and enhancing staff training. The Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle forms the foundation of the implementation plan, ensuring the systematic execution and continuous monitoring of improvements. The recommended interventions aim to enhance patient safety, streamline inventory management, reduce waiting times, and improve overall service quality. Additionally, recommendations for future academic research include exploring the broader impact of technological integration on hospital efficiency and examining patient perceptions of pharmacy services. By addressing operational inefficiencies, this study provides valuable insights and practical solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of outpatient pharmacy services at Premier Jatinegara Hospital, ultimately supporting better patient outcomes and financial stability

Abstract

This study examines the performance of two investment strategies, the Buy & Hold strategy and the MACD strategy, using data from 20 stocks in the Indonesian capital market over a six-year period. The results show that while the Buy & Hold strategy generally generates higher returns, the MACD strategy offers more stable returns and lower losses in certain cases. Statistical analysis using the Mann-Whitney U test showed no significant difference between the two strategies, but the Buy & Hold strategy outperformed MACD by 11.2% in terms of average return, indicating that it performed better than MACD strategy.

Abstract

AMC Hospital faces the challenge of maintaining service quality while efficiently managing human resources. Employee loyalty, which encompasses their commitment and dedication to the company, is crucial in achieving organizational goals. The reciprocal relationship between the company and its employees, where the company provides means to meet employee needs while employees contribute to achieving the company's goals, forms the foundation of employee loyalty. This study aims to determine the influence of workload and compensation on employee loyalty, mediated by work enthusiasm. This research uses a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. Workload has a negative and significant effect on loyalty, where higher workload leads to lower employee loyalty. Compensation also has a negative effect on loyalty, indicating that increasing compensation does not necessarily increase loyalty. Work enthusiasm has a significant positive impact on loyalty. Lastly, work enthusiasm partially mediates the effect of workload and compensation on loyalty, though it does not entirely eliminate the negative impact of these two factors.

Abstract

The Primary Dentist functions as gatekeeper which provides services in first-level health facilities. Payments to primary dentists are set using a capitation system of IDR 3,000/per patient, varying at each health facility. This payment system requires dentists to manage utilization well and effectively. The research aims to analyze the allocation, utilization and transparency of primary dentist capitation funds. This research was conducted qualitatively using in-depth interviews, document review and observation. Research informants were selected randomly purposive sampling consisting of 2 partner practice dentists at Pratama Clinic and a Pratama Clinic dentist in Bandung City with high and low capitation coverage. It can be concluded that the distribution of participants to dentists in the city of Bandung is not evenly distributed so that there is still an inadequate allocation of capitation funds in acceptance which may have an impact on operations and service quality. Most of the operational costs are used for consumable medical materials. The suggestion from this research is that BPJS Health should adjust capitation norms, equalize the distribution of participants and clarify the regulations for dental and oral health services from the National Health Insurance. There is also a need for transparency in accepting capitation for dentists as the spearhead of services.
