Abstract

This study aims to solve the following problems: How is the description of the comprehension in the ability of mathematic communication?  And what are the steps and processes of applying a problem solving in mathematics? The answer of the initial  problem is comprehending the ability of mathematic communication, at least it could be the references of the following:  firstly, is the goal of mathematic communication.  secondly  is the aspects of mathematic communication, such as (a) representing aspect, (b) listening aspect, (c) reading aspect, (d) discussing aspect, (e) writing aspect. The third is comprehending the instruments as the tool to measure mathematic communication. The next is  the answer of the second problem which is the initial steps of solving the problem,  that we can do are: (a) feeling that there is a difficulty or problem, (b) putting and limiting the difficulty, (c) presenting the hypothesis, (d) deductively giving causes and effects of the hypothesis stated, (e) testing the hypothesis by finding proves which can refuse the right  hypothesis and the result that will  happen. Furthermore, the problem solving it self, through the following steps, those are: (1) comprehending the problem, (2) planning the steps of the problem solving, (3) solving the problems which are suitable with the previous planning, (4) checking it once more , and giving some critics to the result.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Spiritual Quotient (kecerdasan spiritual) dengan kenakalan remaja pada siswa SMK Negeri Tutur Kabupaten Pasuruan. Dari hasil perhitungan Product Moment Pearson (N=70) diperoleh rxy sebesar -0.358 dengan rtabel 5% sebesar 0.235, maka ada korelasi negatif yang sangat signifikan antara kecerdasan spiritual dengan kenakalan remaja di SMK Negeri Tutur Kabupaten Pasuruan. Dengan demikian hipotesa yang menyatakan bahwa ada hubungan spiritual quotient (kecerdasan spiritual) dengan kenakalan remaja pada siswa SMK Negeri Tutur Kabupaten Pasuruan diterima. Hasil ini didukung oleh koefisien R2xy sebesar 12.8164%. Dengan demikian ada hubungan spiritual quotient (kecerdasan spiritual) dengan kenakalan remaja pada siswa SMK Negeri Tutur Kabupaten Pasuruan

Abstract

Penelitian ini meneliti apakah ada pengaruh bermain playstation terhadap perilaku kenakalan remaja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan  kuesioner bermain playstation dan skala kenakalan remaja. Hasil korelasi Product Moment dari Pearson menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh bermain Playstation tidak signifikan terhadap perilaku kenakalan remaja. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh bermain playstation terhadap perilaku kenakalan remaja di SMK AL-AZHAR Rembang Pasuruan. Artinya bermain playstation bukan sumber utama yang menjadi kenakalan remaja namun, ada beberapa faktor lain yang menjadi sebab terjadinya kenakalan remaja diantaranya: faktor keluarga, lingkungan, dan mileu-mileu

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan kemandirian anak antara model pembelajaran berbasis area dengan model pembelajaran berbasis klasikal di usia Taman Kanak-kanak. Metode survey digunakan dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan skala kemandirian anak yang diisi oleh orangtua anak.Populasi penelitian ini 70 anak dengan pendidikan berbasis klasikal di PAUD Pratiwi Sukorejo, dan 67 anak denganpendidikan berbasis area di PAUD Ma’arif 01 Sukorejo.Pengambilan sampel tehnik Purporsive Non Random sampling.Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t-antar kelompok. Hasil analisa data menunjukan ada perbedaan yang sangat signifikan rata-rata kemandirian anak antara model pembelajaran area dengan model pembelajaran klasikal (uji-t = 10,45844595 dengan t-tabel 1% = 2,660, t-hitung ≥ t-tabel 1%)

Abstract

AbstractThe meaning of life is a value that a person believes and becomes the basis of people's behavior in living the process of life. And become an important thing as the foundation of human existence. The meaning of life is personal and can be found in any conditions and however by every individual even being a prisoner who is languishing in a penitentiary with limitations and loss of freedom possessed. There are values that become the the source of meaningful life of the inmates as the results of this study show that from the three subjects of which two of them re-discover the meaning of life that is the creative value, value of appreciation and the value of attitude. So it can be a healthy person like the individual in general while one subject can no longer find the meaning of life it is influenced by the fulfillment or not the needs of the subject and the level of quality of appreciation, value of attitude and their different creativity.

Abstract

AbstractLearning difficulties are a problem that can arise anywhere and can be experienced by anyone. Learning difficulties are not always caused by low intelligence factors, but can also be caused by non-intelligence factors. Parenting has contributes to the development of children, including his personality and also in the learning process. This study was conducted to determine the causes of learning difficulties experienced of school-aged children. Method used qualitative research, with eskplanatoris case study. Subjects in this study is a school-aged children were 10 year old. Data gathered in this research is by using interview, observation, intelligence test (CFIT test), and graphic test. The results showed that learning difficulties experienced by subjects other than due to intelligence factors, also influenced by the parenting has received by the subject in the family

Abstract

Salah satu hal perlu mendapat perhatian yang serius sekarang ini adalah berkaitan dengan pembentukan karakter bangsa yang toleran. Untuk mencapai hal ini salah satu cara yang ditempuh adalah memberikan pembelajaran tentang multikulturalisme bangsa kepada mahasiswa. Oleh karenanya diperlukan pendidikan bagi mahasiswa agar dapat menumbuhkan kembali sikap toleransi yang sebenarnya merupakan ciri khas kepribadian bangsa Indonesia. Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi swasta yang mengedepankan pendidikan multikultural. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa sikap toleransi dapat dibentuk dengan melalui pendidikan multikultural, dengan kata lain perbedaan yang sangat signifikan pada sikap toleransi antara mahasiswa semester I yang belum mendapatkan pendidikn multikultural dengan mahasiswa semester III, V dan VII yang sudah mendapatkan pendidikan multikultural.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find out the school in developing the education of children with special needs in SDLB PGRI Bangorejo Banyuwangi City. The results of the study were used as a reflection of the school and the Banyuwangi Regency government on the education of children with special needs. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design that uses a phenomenological perspective. The selection of respondents using snow ball, where the sample in this study is the principal and teacher and resource persons related to this research are in SDLB PGRI Bangorejo Banyuwangi City. The results of this study indicate that the role of schools in the development of education for children with special needs is four (4) things, including: 1) the maximum use of BOS funds for the advancement of children's education, 2) coordinating with students to bring experts in the development of children's education and child independence, 3) always make new breakthroughs to find donors for the development of school facilities and infrastructure, 4) involve guardians of students in each school program

Abstract

The diagnosis of mental retardation with ADHD in children, statistically record 8% - 39%. Children with mental retardation, requires certain ways to maximize their potential and quality of life. The condition ADHD are likely brought certain challenges to the handling of these children. This article presents the description of mentally retarded children with ADHD in their natural setting, school and home. It’s a qualitative research, descriptive case study, with holistic multi-case design. Purposive sampling technique found two (2) children as research subjects. Pattern matching technique is used for data analysis. The result of this study shows challenges for school teacher while working with mentally retarded with ADHD children. Accommodate their ADHD in positive and productive activities, are likely helps the handling of their mental retardation condition

Abstract

Procrastination is the behavior of delaying work or work with activities that are not important, so that the task becomes hampered and not completed on time. The results show that the hypothesis which states that there is a relationship between self confidence and anxiety with academic procrastination is accepted at a significance level of 1%, where Ry (1.2) = 0.71545039 is greater than Ftab 1% and F-count is 37.751 greater than Ftab 1% of 4.61. This shows that if self confidence and anxiety are high, academic procrastination is low, whereas if self confidence and anxiety are low then academic procrastination is high.
