Abstract

Teacher performance is the result of work, both in quality and quantity, achieved by an individual in performing tasks in accordance with the responsibilities assigned to him/her. Factors that influence teacher performance are work environment, organizational culture, leadership, work motivation, work discipline, salary and job satisfaction. This study aims to determine whether there is a partial and simultaneous influence of work discipline and work environment on teacher performance at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang. The sampling technique used is the saturated sample technique, that is, all members of the population are sampled, while the sample in this study amounted to 50 people. This research method is a quantitative method with verification data analysis method. The results of the study partially show that work discipline has a significant effect on teachers' performance, work environment has no significant effect on teachers' performance, simultaneously work discipline and work environment together have a simultaneous effect on teachers' performance. Based on the coefficient of determination, it shows that work discipline and work environment can explain the variable of teacher performance by 38.2%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of motivation, leadership and work discipline on the performance of LAZISNU (Institute Amil Zakat Infaq and Sadaqah Nahdlatul Ulama) employees in Central Java. The population in this study were all central and branch LAZISNU employees throughout Central Java with a total of 158 employees. Furthermore, the sampling technique used was a random sampling technique using the Slovin formula, so that a sample size of 61 respondents was obtained. The required primary data is collected by means of a survey via a questionnaire. The results of data collection were then analyzed using the multiple linear regression analysis method with the help of SPSS Version 22. The results of the research showed that motivation, leadership and work discipline had a significant positive effect on the performance of LAZISNU Central Java employees.

Abstract

Nowadays, well-being is an important aspect that many female entrepreneurs strive for. This study aims to examine the effect of flexible working arrangements and work-life balance on well-being. This study also wants to examine flexible working arrangements on well-being with work-life balance as a mediating variable. The respondents of this study were female entrepreneurs in Indonesia. The research method used is explanatory quantitative research. This study uses a purposive sampling technique. This study selects female entrepreneurs in Indonesia who have run a business for at least 1 year. This study uses 150 female entrepreneurs in Indonesia as research respondents. The population of this study is female entrepreneurs in Indonesia and have run a business for at least 1 year. The data processing technique uses Smart PLS software. The results of the study indicate that flexible working arrangements have a significant effect on well-being. This study provides results that flexible working arrangements have an effect on work-life balance among female entrepreneurs in Indonesia. Interestingly, this study also found that work-life balance mediates the effect of flexible working arrangements on well-being. In other words, work flexibility increases well-being indirectly through the role of work-life balance as a mediator.

Abstract

The company, which provides outsourcing services in various sectors such as cleaning services, security, administration, and others, primarily employs the canvassing method as its main market penetration strategy. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through unstructured interviews and observation, aiming to analyze the Business Model Canvas (BMC) strategy. The results indicate that PT XYZ has implemented the nine elements of the BMC in an integrated manner, ranging from customer segmentation, value proposition, and communication channels to cost structure. The company targets customers from mid-to-large scale industries and government institutions

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work-family conflict and workload on nurse performance with job stress as a mediating variable among nurses at RSUD Ibnu Sina Gresik. Nurses who are married and have children often face dual role conflicts and excessive workloads, both of which can reduce their job performance and service quality. This research uses a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). A total of 122 nurses were selected using purposive sampling technique. The variables measured include work-family conflict, workload, job stress, and nurse performance, with data collected through a structured questionnaire. The findings show that both work-family conflict and workload have a negative and significant impact on nurse performance, either directly or indirectly through job stress. Job stress is proven to mediate the relationship between the two independent variables and performance. These results highlight the need for hospital management to implement adaptive work policies, align workload with nurse capacity, and provide professional and emotional support through training and counseling to maintain optimal healthcare service quality.

Abstract

The COVID 19 pandemic has significantly altered work patterns across various sectors, including the widespread adoption of Work from Home (WFH) systems. This study aims to analyze the influence of work environment, work discipline, and compensation on employee performance during remote work. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method. The sample consisted of 110 employees of CV. Cahaya Mandiri selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results revealed that the three independent variables work environment, work discipline, and compensationhave both simultaneous and partial significant effects on employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.216, indicating that 21.6% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by these three variables. These findings underscore the importance of fostering a supportive work environment, enhancing employee discipline, and providing fair compensation to improve employee productivity in remote work settings.

Abstract

Unemployment is still a serious problem that is difficult to overcome, many college graduates have difficulty finding work. They can take advantage of opportunities to create jobs with entrepreneurship, but prefer to look for work. This study was conducted to determine the effect of Self-Confidance and Risk Taking Propensity on Entrepreneurial Intention in students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Padang. The type of research used is causative research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 1,574 students with a sample size of 95 students using proportional random sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out through a survey using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The variable indicators in this study consist of: Self-confidance variable (X1) indicators, (1) Facing failure, (2) Having mental readiness and skills (3) Optimistic about business success. Variable risk taking propensity indicators, (1) Decision making (decision making), (2) Courage to act (3) Able to bear losses / risks. Variable entrepreneurial intention indicators, (1) Desires, (2) Preferences, (3) Plans (4) Behaviour Expectancies. This instrument has passed the validity and reliability test, using multiple linear regression analysis method with SPSS version 25 which has passed the classical assumption prerequisite test, namely normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test, the hypothesis is then tested using the f-test, t-test, and coefficient of determination. The results of this study indicate that self-confidance and risk taking propensity affect entrepreneurial intention. This means that the higher the level of self-confidence and courage of students in taking risks, the higher their tendency to have intentions and plans in starting a business. Thus, strengthening psychological aspects such as self-confidence and the ability to face risks needs to be a concern in the development of entrepreneurship curriculum on campus in order to be able to produce graduates who are not only looking for work, but also able to create jobs.

Abstract

TikTok has been widely known in Indonesia since 2018, especially among young people. However, since the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, TikTok's popularity has skyrocketed. Many people use TikTok to fill their free time, seek entertainment, and various activities. Until 2024 TikTok has become one of the most widely used social media applications in Indonesia with millions of daily active users. This study aims to identify the role of influencers, live streaming features, and electronic word of mouth that influence purchasing decisions for cosmetic products at TikTok Shop. This study uses a quantitative research method with data collection using a questionnaire conducted from February to April with a population of 2,176 respondents and a sample of 338 respondents calculated using the Slovin formula. The results of this study indicate that the variables of Influencer Role, Live Streaming Features, and Electronic Word Of Mouth partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Purchasing Decisions of Career Women in Pulau Punjung District, Dharmasraya Regency. The R2 value is 0.568, which means that all independent variables can influence the dependent variable by 56.8% while the remaining 43.2% is influenced by other factors not tested in this study.

Abstract

Dalam era disrupsi teknologi dan informasi yang semakin berkembang, lingkungan tempat bisnis beroperasi secara global telah mengalami transformasi fundamental. Strategi pemasaran digital telah menjadi keniscayaan bagi berbagai skala usaha, memungkinkan mereka untuk menjangkau audiens yang lebih luas, membangun brand awareness, dan meningkatkan penjualan secara lebih. Penelitian ini menganalisis strategi pemasaran yang digunakan UMKM "Lup Dup Indonesia". Dengan menggunakan strategi STP dan marketing mix. Selain itu adanya pemanfaatan media sosial dalam meningkatkan promosi. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan dari wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi terkait aktivitas promosi dan interaksi pelanggan. Hasil penelitian, dengan mengandalkan platform seperti Instagram dan WhatsApp Business, LUPDUP mampu membangun komunikasi yang lebih dekat dengan pelanggan, mempermudah akses informasi produk, serta menjalankan promosi secara efisien dan tepat sasaran. Konten visual yang menarik, promo yang kreatif, serta interaksi langsung dengan konsumen menjadi kekuatan utama dalam membentuk loyalitas pelanggan.

This study aims to was conducted to determine the influence of Brand Ambassadors, Digital Marketing and Electronic Word of Mouth on Purchasing Decisions for Emina Cosmetic Products for Padang State University Students. The type of research used is causative research with a quantitative approach. The number of samples in this study were 100 Padang State University students, using purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. This instrument has passed the validity and reliability tests, using the multiple linear regression analysis method with SPSS version 22 which has passed the classical assumption prerequisite test, namely the normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test, the hypothesis is then tested using the f-test, t-test, and coefficient of determination. The results of this study indicate that (1) Brand Ambassadors have a significant influence on Purchasing Decisions, (2) Digital Marketing has a significant influence on Purchasing Decisions, (3) E-WOM has proven significant to purchasing decisions, (4) Brand Ambassadors,Digital Marketing and Electronic word of mouth (E-WOM) have a significant influence on purchasing decisions
