Abstract

In pushing the economy in the capital city of Jakarta is inseparable from the problem, one of the biggest problems of the people of the capital city in the economic field is the difficulty of empowering the people's economy, and the other side is the high unemployment in the capital. Efforts to overcome the problem of unemployment in the capital city is to provide their own employment. Provision of employment opportunities can be done by opening up Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Small and Medium Enterprises play an important role in absorbing labor, contributing foreign exchange, and alleviating poverty. This is done because on the one hand it can create new entrepreneurs and on the other hand is the empowerment of small businesses into medium-sized businesses. The rapid growth of MSMEs in PIK Pulogadung Jakarta fosters competitiveness among MSMEs to maintain their business. The undeniable reality that Small and Medium Enterprises is the most strategic national economic sector and concerns the lives of many people, so that it becomes the backbone of the national economy. Lack of capital, low professionalism of managing human resources, limited capital and market access, and the lack of government role in supporting the competitiveness of SMEs are problems that must be sought for solutions for SMEs. The method used is multiple linear regression analysis to determine the effect of the dependent variable on independent variables. The research proves that simultaneously the independent variables (Capital, Human Resources, Product Marketing and Government Support) have a significant positive effect on the independent variables (Competitiveness). Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study the motivation and work discipline on the work productivity of the Polytechnic LP3I Jakarta North Jakarta Campus. This research was conducted with a method of collecting data by distributing questionnaires to 30 employees of the LP3I Jakarta Polytechnic North Jakarta Campus. This research uses quantitative descriptive method with multiple linear analysis techniques. The hypothesis test used is the F test and t test.The results of this study indicate the relationship between motivation (X1) to work productivity of 0.594, as well as work discipline variables (X2) to work productivity (Y) has a relationship of 0.389. Motivation (X1) and work discipline (X2) on work productivity (Y) are carried out simultaneously showing a relationship of 0.608 and having an influence of 39.60%.The relationship between motivation and dissipilin work on work productivity both partially and simultaneously has a strong correlation. LP3I Jakarta Polytechnic Motivation and work discipline towards the work motivation of North Jakarta Campus have better work motivation and discipline competence.Keywords: Motivation, Work Discipline and Work Productivity.

Abstract

The rapid development of non-cash payment systems has also developed non-cash payment instruments which are alternative choices for MSMEs in the Citarum river basin to increase sales because they offer convenience to customers. MSMEs in the Citarum River Basin still need to accelerate in terms of business strategies to improve their business results. This needs to be done because buying and selling transactions with a non-cash payment system can be an efficient payment alternative as well as for transactions that can increase the effectiveness of the payment system at MSMEs. This research aims to help the community and MSMEs in the Citarum watershed to be more effective in making payment systems so that people make payments more easily and can increase sales. Non-cash payment systems are very useful for business people and the community in making payments so that MSMEs in the Citarum watershed are more advanced. The method used is the biplot and logit to determine the mapping model of the effectiveness of non-cash payments to MSMEs. The results of this study are that overall perceptions of benefits, convenience and risk from MSMEs do not significantly influence the effectiveness of non-cash payments. Between Perception of Benefits, Perception of Ease and Effectiveness has a positive correlation. Risk perception with other variables has a very low correlation.Key words: effectiveness, non-cash payment system, MSME

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to obtain empirical evidence and found the clarity of the phenomenon  as well  as  conclusions about the effect of  two  variables  for purchase decision  on  PT. Mitrametal Perkasa’s electroplating part.The research was expected to contribute of economics development and marketing management.This research was conducted by using descriptive and verificative methods, are collecting, presenting, analyzing and testing hypotheses, making conclusions and suggestions.From the analysis of research data, obtained the following conclusions: Product attributes of electroplating products at PT. Mitrametal Perkasa have been on high criteria. Pricing of PT. Mitrametal Perkasa’s electroplating products have been on middle criteria. Purchase decision of electroplating products at PT. Mitrametal Perkasa have been on high criteria. The relationship between product attributes with pricing at very strong level and has correlation coefficient 0.844. The partial effect of attributes products to purchase decision has value 43.3%. The partial effect of pricing to purchase decision has value 33%. The simultaneous effect of product attributes and pricing to the purchase decision has value 76.3%.From these results, that variable product attributes and pricing significantly influence to the purchase decision on PT. Mitrametal Perkasa’s electroplating products. Furthermore, for sustainability to improve and optimize these variables, PT. Mitrametal Perkasa was expected to create internal and external continues improvement programs periodically. Keywords: product attributes, pricing, purchase decision

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find the correlation between Public Relation and the impression as independent variables to the attentiveness in studying in private universities. The data for the study is taken from questionnaire given to 206 samples from total 406 students. The data from the questionnaire is analyzed by using the software SPSS version 17.0 in order to get the validity and reliability scores, normality, correlation and multi regression, anova, and T-test to analyze the hypothesis. The study approves that there is significant correlation between public relations to the students interest to study in university, correlation between the impression of the university to the students interest to study in university, and lastly the correlation between public relations and the impression mutually to the students interest to study in university. The determination coefficient score (R2) is 0.504 or 50.4%. This means that 50.4% of the students interest to study in university is able to be explained the variable of public relation and the impression as the independent variables. Meanwhile, the other variables are explained by other variables outside of the model of research. Abstract

In the era of transportation development and technological sophistication, people tend to choose fast and affordable transportation. To meet the needs of the people the Soekarno Hatta Airport Railway has officially operated. Some problems have been complained by passengers, namely regarding ticket prices and facilities. The influence of Ticket Prices on the satisfaction of railroad passengers of Seekarno Hatta Jakarta Airport based on statistical results can be said that the passengers of  Soekarno Hatta Jakarta Airport Railroad have a significant partial satisfaction for using Airport Railway in accordance with the Ticket Prices that have been paid. Satisfaction with ticket prices paid is due to affordable prices, benefits received, suitability to facilities, distance traveled, travel time. The effect of the Facility on the satisfaction of railroad passengers of Soekarno Hatta Jakarta Airport based on statistical results can be said that Soekarno Hatta Jakarta Airport Railway passengers have a significant partial satisfaction for using Airport Railway in accordance with the Facilities received. Satisfaction with facilities received such as parking lots, waiting rooms, free toilets, places of worship, supporting facilities. While the Effect of Ticket Prices and Facilities on the satisfaction of railroad passengers of the Soekarno Hatta Jakarta Airport based on statistical results it can be said that the passengers of the Jakarta Soekarno Hatta Airport Train have significant simultaneous satisfaction to use the Soekarno Hatta Airport Jakarta Train in accordance with Ticket Prices, Facilities and Ease Perceptions Transaction. Abstract

The Relationship between Service Quality with the Student's Trusty. The  objective of this research to know the lecturer’s and education service with competence, guarante of work fast and education service with student’s trusty in Polytechnic LP3I Jakarta Pasar Minggu campus. The research is carried out in campus Pasar Minggu due to the efficiency of time and place of respondent. The method of this research is by using descriptive statistic and hypothesis test. Base on the relation of service qualiy with students trusttuidance for the managerial, mainly in upgrading the service quality in term of upgrading the student's recommendation. The purpose of this research is to exa, it will result: lecturer’s competences have the significant relation eith student’s trusty. Abstract

In LP3I Jakarta – Campus Cikarang, most of students were not interested to the entrepreneurship. Thus, further research is needed to elaborate the personality and motivation which are having impact to the entrepreunership. The method of this research uses quantitative descriptive research. The population by taking from Regular Students of LP3I Jakarta – Cikarang Campus. Random sampling approach to determine sample, in this case, 73 students as a sample. Data collects through questionnaires for multiple regression analysis. The results of this study show that there is positive and significant influence of personality to the interest in entrepreneurship as indicated by the correlation coefficient (R) partially equal to 0.692 (strong). Motivation has positive and significant influence to the interesting in entrepreneurship as indicated by the correlation coefficient (R) partially equal to 0.639 (strong). Meanwhile, The simultaneously influence of personality and motivation to the interesting in entrepreneurship has positive and significant influence indicated by the correlation coefficient R = 0.754 or R² = (0.754) ² = 57% while the remaining 43% influenced by other variables was not examined.Keywords: Personality, Motivation, Interest, Entrepreneurship

Abstract

The three pillars of higher education for lecturers and students is an obligation. The law requires the existence of libraries in universities for those who want to organize higher education. The library, which is a sub-section of the college where it belongs, must participate in the success of the main organization's missions. The presence of the library must provide tangible benefits for academic people. The Kramat LP3I business administration students as the main actors in this study fully participated to realize the goals of the institution. They have a positive impression of the existence of the library. The results showed that the  students' perceptions of the use of the Kramat LP3I Polytechnic library in the three pillars of higher education activities were approaching good either at 74.9%.Key words: Perception, Library, LP3I Polytechnic Students. Abstract

This study was conducted to determine whether the national marketing costs of vocational colleges have an impact on increasing Sales Volume. The process of acquiring Sales volume is carried out in stages starting from the acquisition of Applicants, Lists and finally Sales Volume which is the number of students ready for college. Data analysis was performed on marketing  data  and  financial  data  over  a  period  of  5  (five)  years,  using  simple linear regression. Based on the calculation results of marketing costs correlation with the acquisition of Sales Volume  is  known  to  be  84.9%,  where  the  value shows  a  meaningful  and very strong relationship, while the results of the coefficient of determination are known that Marketing Costs have a 72.0% influence on the acquisition of Sales Volume, and the remaining 28.0 % is influenced by other factors not examined. The results of calculations using SPSS data analysis obtained linear regression Y= 21762.14+0.00000204X, where Marketing Costs (X) contributed positively to the acquisition of Sales Volume (Y) of 0.00000204 units, and the results  of  the  hypothesis  t  -calculate  is  2.778  values  greater  than  t-table  values  at the significance level of 0.05 (2.778>1.982). Thus the research hypothesis can be accepted that marketing costs have a positive effect on the acquisition of Sales Volume.Keywords: Marketing Costs, Sales Volume
