Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the fine motoric development of children in group A TK Weda Purana Pemaron, through finger painting activities. The subjects of this classroom action research were group A children of TK Weda Purana Pemaron, totaling 5 children. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle goes through the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Methods of data collection are done through performance, observation, and documentation. Data analysis in this study used a qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the pre-cycle before classroom action research, it shows that the child’s fine motoric development has not yet reached optimal results, which only reached a percentage of 50% or the category began to develop. So that action is taken in the first cycle to achieve results with a percentage of 70% or developing categories as expected, while in cycle II achieve results with a percentage of 90% or very well developed categories. With these results indicate that the indicators of success have been achieved.

Abstract

Character education is a self building and a planned effort which aim to foster the character of students to strengthen their character. It is said that establishing character education can help students understand the values of human behavior related to God, self and others. Aim of this study is to explore good values connected character education establishment stemming from hadits (sayings of the Prophet). Method of this study is a literature review to investigate books containing hadits. In this effort, researchers tried to find meanings of the hadits connective to character building. Findings show that character education is needed, because education is not only aimed at fostering smart students, but education also aims to foster character and decency in everyday life. If students have character, then the nation will be good. Because students are the nation's next generation, they must educate their own character from an early age so that when they become the nation's successor they are not only smart, but also have character. Therefore, the inculcation of character values in students must start as early as possible, that is, the period in which children absorb a lot of future applied knowledge.

Abstract

Early childhood is a period of fundamental human development or known as the golden period because at this time the physical, intellectual, motoric, emotional, social and language development of children is taking place rapidly. Science must be introduced as a provision of knowledge for early childhood who continues to grow and develop. The introduction of science in early childhood is an effort to foster critical character, curiosity, thoroughness, exploration to find answers and think regularly through fun activities. Science is introduced from an early age as well as preparation for learning at a higher level. This research is a literature study which aims to examine the activities of playing science as an effective method of learning science for early childhood. The types of activities in playing science are: 1) playing with physical science, 2) playing with the living things science and 3) playing on earth and environmental science. Based on the results of a literature review, it was found that the playing science method was effective in early age science learning, including; improve science skills and science learning outcomes, introduce and improve basic science process skills and improve children's science concepts.

Abstract

Early childhood education is actually a shared responsibility between families, communities and governments. School as a continuation of education in the family, because the first and foremost education children get is in the family. The family as the smallest social unit is the most important and first educational environment, in the sense that the family is the environment most responsible for educating their children. The education provided by parents should provide the basis for education, the socialization process and life in society. According to Ki Hadjar Dewantara, the Among system is a method of learning and education based on care and dedication based on love. The among system is explained in three sentences as follows: Ing ngarso sing tulodo, Ing madya mangun karso, Tut wuri handayani, The among system is very suitable to be applied to children who have entered elementary school education between grades 1 to grade 3. because at this stage the child must be motivated and aroused the will so that the child is encouraged to be independent. This concept can also be used in building self-confidence and character building for children.

Abstract

The low consumption of fruits and vegetables in preschool children can cause chronic diseases, lower immunity and digestive disorders in preschool children. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of effective communication on fruit and vegetable consumption of preschool children based on the transtheoritical model. This is a research with a quasi-experimental design. The measuring instrument used in the study is a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The questionnaire contains the daily consumption of fruits and vegetables, a checklist of effective communication steps for mothers, questionnaires for pre-countemplation, countemplation, preparation, action, maintenance stages. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The sample in the study was 15 people. Data analysis used the Independent Sample T Test. The results showed that the average obtained was 3.82. The pre-test post-test gain value on Equal Variences assumed obtained a significance value of 0.003 (<0.05) so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the mean pre-test post-test so that there is a positive effect of the intervention on daily fruit and vegetable consumption. Table 4 above informs that all respondents (100%) entered the pre-countemplation stage, as many as 14 respondents (93.3%) went through the countemplation, preparation and action stages, and only 13 respondents (86.6%) reached the stage maintenance because 1 respondent (6.6%) had a relapse. The conclusion of this study is that effective communication affects vegetable consumption and preschool children based on the transtheoritical model.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find a description of the performance and development of teachers of RA Al Falah Sampang Karangtengah Demak. The core of the study is focused on the factors that affect teacher performance, while the factors examined in this study are teacher performance and development. The research method used is qualitative research methods. The data collection technique used in this study was a survey data collection tool. Respondents in this study were permanent teachers at the RA Al Falah Sampang Karangtengah foundation. Data analysis techniques used simple regression. The results of this study indicate: (1) Teacher performance and development are in the quite effective category, and teacher performance is in the high enough category; (2) teacher development has a positive effect on performance. The key to the success of learning with a distance or online system is collaboration between parents and teachers. Because these two figures have the most role in learning activities. If in the past maybe the old onrang just took their children to school, then went home and came back to pick them up again. Now all matters are almost the task of parents, even teaching children to do learning tasks also requires parental assistance.

Abstract

AbstrakPembentukan SDM dimulai sejak usia dini. Semakin dini anak mengenal nilai-nilai baik maka semakin kuat fondasi karakternya dimasa yang akan datang. Untuk membentuk karakter mulia pada diri anak maka segala sesuatu disekitar anak harus mulia dan positif. Salah satu cara untuk membentuk karakter anak-anak adalah dengan cara memperkenalkan lagu anak-anak yang bermuatan nilai-nilai positif dan pesan moral di dalamnya. Nilai moral yang disisipkan dalam lirik lagu anak-anak ini dimaksudkan untuk mendidik perkembangan psikologi seorang anak. Lagu dolanan anak atau yang dalam budaya Bali dikenal dengan gending rare memiliki manfaat yang positif di dalam pembentukan karakter karena, mengandung nilainilai kependidikan di antaranya nilai kejujuran, kerukunan, sejarah, budaya, nasionalisme dan menghormati orang lain dan masih banyak hal positif lainnya lagi. Abstract

Abstrak Mutu adalah kemampuan (ability) yang dimiliki oleh suatu produk atau jasa (service) yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan atau harapan, kepuasan (satisfaction) pelanggan (customer) yang dalam pendidikan dikelompokkan menjadi dua, yaitu internal customer dan eksternal. Internal customer yaitu siswa atau mahasiswa sebagai pembelajar (leaners) dan eksternal customer yaitu masyarakat dan dunia industry. Mutu tidak berdiri sendiri, artinya banyak faktor untuk mencapainya dan untuk memelihara mutu. Dalam kaitan ini peran dan fungsi sistem penjaminan mutu (Quality Assurance System) sangat di butuhkan. penjaminan mutu dalam dunia pendidikan, itu perlu ada bahkan memang harus ditingkatkan mengingat mutu pendidikan di indonesia pada khususnya di Nusa Tenggara Barat jauh dari apa yang diharapkan. Ini juga mengakui bahwa sekolah-sekolah baik dari tingkat PAUD, maupun tingkat tinggi ingin melihat kondisi sarana prasarana dan proses pembelajaran masih kurang memuaskan, sehingga penjaminan mutu pendidikan merupakan program yang utama bahkan amat sangat penting bagi menteri pedidikan. Tentunya bagi pemerintah. Penjaminan mutu pendidikan itu sendiri merupakan kegiatan mandiri oleh lembaga pendidikan tertentu, oleh karena itu harus disusun, dirancang, dan dilaksanakan sendiri. Salah satu upaya dalam merealisasikan penjaminan mutu tersebut dapat dilakukan secara bertahap oleh pihak PAUD, yakni dengan melakukan evaluasi diri, kemudian ditindak lanjuti dengan monitoring sekolah oleh pihak pemerintah daerah, sehingga penjaminan mutu pendidikan anak usia dini dapat dilakukan dengan baik. Kata kunci: Penjamin Mutu, Guru, Peran, Anak Usia Dini                             Abstract                Quality is the ability possessed by a product or service that can meet the needs or expectations, satisfaction of customers (customers) which in education are grouped into two, namely internal and external customers. Quality does not stand alone, meaning that there are many factors to achieve it and to maintain quality. In this connection the role and function of the quality assurance system (Quality Assurance System) is needed. quality assurance in the world of education, it needs to be even it must be improved considering the quality of education in Indonesia in particular in West Nusa Tenggara is far from what is expected. It also recognizes that schools from both the PAUD level and the high level want to see the condition of infrastructure facilities and the learning process are still unsatisfactory, so that the quality assurance of education is the main program and even very very important for the minister of education. Certainly for the government. The quality assurance of education itself is an independent activity by certain educational institutions, therefore it must be prepared, designed and implemented by itself. One of the efforts in realizing the quality assurance can be done in stages by PAUD namely by conducting a self-evaluation, then followed up by school monitoring by the local government, so that the quality assurance of early childhood education can be carried out properly. Keywords: Quality Assurance, Teacher, Role, Early Childhood

Abstract

The research encourages the explanation of the mitigation education model and complete disaster mitigation planning in early childhood education schools (PAUD). This research uses library research methods. Data is collected from books, research reports, journal articles, web (internet) relevant to the study of Disaster Mitigation in Schools. Next, the data were analyzed using the content analysis method (content analysis). The results showed that the COVID-19 outbreak disaster mitigation education for PAUD children was one of the reasons children were the most vulnerable during a disaster. Its function is to increase awareness, knowledge, attitudes, skills, and participation in emerging pandemics. The stages of COVID-19 outbreak disaster mitigation in schools include 3 essential preparations. First, prepared, published (1) (2) the existence of school policies, approvals, and regulations. Second, planning, loading; (1) assesses risks, hazards, evaluates and resources; (2) reducing risk; (3) skills in responding and providing disaster relief equipment; (4) education continuity plan. Third, continuous support, updated (1) monitoring; and (2) updating. Mitigation of disasters to be executed is essential as an effort to prepare school resources to cope with disasters.

Abstract

AbstractEnglish is not a compulsory subject in early childhood education (ECD) curriculum in Indonesia. However, practically, many ECD schools implement English language learning which adds value to the existence of the ECD School itself, in addition to the demand of parents. Therefore, many problems arise in the ELT practice in ECD schools, one of which is the problem of the appropriateness of approaches and methods of ELT applied to the young learner. This article aims to promote the English learning approaches in teaching English for young learner (TEYL) that have been presented by Professor Jack C. Richard in his official web page, complemented by methods that can be implemented by ECD school Teachers. Several related studies on the effectiveness of the method are also presented to provide empirical evidence from various contexts. Finally, conclusions and suggestions about TEYL approaches and methods are addressed to readers, especially for ECD practitioners and researchers interested in TEYL.Keywords: Approach, Method, English Languge Teaching, Early Childhood.AbstrakBahasa Inggris merupakan mata pelajaran yang tidak diwajibkan dalam kurikulum PAUD di Indonesia. Namun, dalam praktiknya banyak Sekolah PAUD melaksanakan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang memberikan nilai tambah untuk keberadaan Sekolah PAUD itu sendiri disamping karena adanya permintaan orang tua siswa. Oleh karena itu, banyak permasalahan yang muncul dalam praktiknya di sekolah-sekolah PAUD, salah satunya adalah permasalahan tentang kesesuaian pendekatan dan metode pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang diterapkan untuk AUD. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan kembali pendekatan-pendekatan pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris untuk AUD yang telah disampaikan oleh Professor Jack C. Richard pada halaman web-nya, dilengkapi dengan metode-metode yang dapat diimplementasikan oleh Guru PAUD. Beberapa penelitian yang terkait tentang effektivitas dari metode tersebut juga dipaparkan untuk memberikan bukti empiris dari berbagai konteks. Pada bagian akhir, kesimpulan dan saran mengenai mengenai metode ini disampaikan kepada pembaca, terutama dari kalangan praktisi PAUD dan peneliti yang tertarik pada bidang pendidikan Bahasa Inggris untuk Anak Usia Dini.Kata Kunci: Pendekatan, Metode, Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris, Anak Usia Dini.
