Abstract

This investigation was carried out with the aim of assessing the basis of the Bengkulu Province National and Political Unity Agency in its efforts to strengthen national integration and integration. The study method used is a qualitative study. The data in this investigation was obtained from primary and secondary sources. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, and inference/validation procedures. The results of the study show that: 1) The basis of the Bengkulu Province National and Political Unity Agency in strengthening national unity and integrity has been implemented well and responsibly, this can be seen from the results of the study which is based on information obtained from informants. 2) Assessment of the policies of the Bengkulu Province National and Political Agency in strengthening national unity and integrity has gone well, in accordance with public policy indicators which include: a) Input Indicators, b) Process Indicators, c) Output Indicators, and d) Result Indicators . 3) The employees have also tried their best to continue to improve the basis of the Bengkulu Province National and Political Unity Agency in strengthening national unity and unity.

Abstract

One of the health problems in Indonesia is the high rate of stunting, so the government issued Presidential Regulation Number 72 of 2021. This study aims to describe the implementation of stunting reduction programs in the Working Area of the Tumbuan Health Center, Seluma Regency. The method in this study used descriptive qualitative methods with informants totaling 23 people, determined by purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results of this study show that the implementation of the stunting reduction program has been implemented quite well but not optimally. This is due to several inhibiting factors such as parental parenting, low exclusive breastfeeding, high coverage of pregnant women with chronic lack of energy, and a high percentage of families who smoke. This study concluded that socialization has not been maximally accepted by the community due to community stereotypes towards the government, people who still have not participated in the implementation of the program optimally due to concurrent activities, local customs and others. Monitoring and evaluation is carried out regularly and gradually so that the puskesmas work area can implement stunting reduction programs quite well.

Abstract

Pelayanan publik adalah kegiatan pelayanan yang dilakukan oleh penyedia layanan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan penerima layanan dan melaksanakan ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan. Dilihat dari situasi pelayanan publik yang saat ini perlu diterapkan tentang good governance untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi yang baik. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut harus didukung oleh sumber daya manusia yaitu pegawai dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip good governance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami fenomena masalah secara mendalam, serta mendeskripsikan terkait penerapan prinsip-prinsip good governance dalam pelayanan publik di Kantor Kecamatan Selebar Kota Bengkulu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif untuk memberikan gambaran terhadap masalah penelitian. Aspek penelitian diadopsi dari teori Sedarmayanti (2013, h.289) prinsip-prinsip good governance yang dimaksud meliputi akuntabilitas, transparansi, partisipasi dan supremasi hukum. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan dalam aspek akuntabilitas penerapannya masih belum optimal, dikarenakan masih terdapat beberapa petugas yang tidak berada di tempat pada saat jam kerja, kemudian petugas juga datang terlambat sehingga dalam hal ini kinerja dan tanggung jawab masih belum optimal. Aspek transparansi, secara keseluruhan sudah berjalan dengan baik, tetapi penerapannya belum optimal, penerapannya seperti pihak Kantor Kecamatan Selebar sudah menyebarluaskan informasi-informasi yang ada melalui grup WhatsApp. Selanjutnya aspek partisipasi, penerapannya masih belum optimal, karena masih minimnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam memberikan kritik dan saran pada Kantor Kecamatan Selebar. Yang terakhir aspek supremasi hukum, penerapannya juga masih belum optimal, pihak Kantor Kecamatan Selebar dalam memberikan pelayanan publik sudah mengikuti Standar Operasional Prosedur, namun untuk rentang kepastian waktu dalam memberikan pelayanan masih belum optimal, sehingga menyebabkan pelayanan yang dilakukan bisa memakan waktu lebih lama.

Abstract

In the context of higher education, the public concept of students as users of educational services offered to students does not only include academic services related to the learning process, as well as non-academic services related to technical and administrative services. Quality academic and non-academic services are certainly everyone's dream. student. Therefore, the quality contribution of higher education institutions is very necessary in order to provide optimal services to students. A Whole of Government approach is the definition. In relation to services to students, the Whole of Government approach refers to coordination and collaboration that creates synergy between actors that produces educational services. The importance of implementing a holistic approach to higher education is based on two reasons. First, the most important key in creating quality public services is the performance of service providers, so improvements must be made in line with bureaucratic reform. Second, all governments fulfill indicators of commitment to quality which include efficiency, effectiveness, innovation and quality orientation. Considering these two reasons, it is appropriate that the Whole of Government approach be implemented comprehensively in academic and non-academic services at higher education institutions in Indonesia

Abstract

In facing the challenges of poverty and low education levels in Bengkulu Province, the HOME Learning Center program is an important intervention to increase the capacity of orphans and poor children. In the context of social movements, leadership has a crucial role in inspiring, building commitment, and mobilizing resources. Therefore, this study aims to describe the role of leadership in advancing the Human initiative movement in Bengkulu City, especially in quality education programs for orphans. Through qualitative research methods using observation, interviews, and documentation, this study highlights the contribution of the Head of Human initiative Volunteer (HIVE) Bengkulu in inspiring members, mobilizing resources, and building a wide network to support the program. The results show that the leadership applied by the chairman of HIVE is democratic and participatory, which respects the opinions and abilities of each member, and empowers them according to their respective interests and expertise. The recommendations put forward to maintain the contribution of leadership in advancing the Human initiative movement in Bengkulu City are to develop sustainable leadership training programs and fostering generations of young leaders.

Abstract

The performance of employees within BAPPEDA Bengkulu City was found to have a number of employees who have not been able to carry out their duties properly because their understanding of their main duties and functions is still low, and there is still domination from superiors to subordinates. Therefore, this study aims to describe and describe the managerial role of the head of the field within BAPPEDA Bengkulu City, by adopting the theory of managerial roles proposed by Mitzberg (1990) which divides these roles into three roles namely; interpersonal, informational, and decisional. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of the data collected was carried out simultaneously through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results showed that the managerial role of the head of the field at BAPPEDA Bengkulu City has not been optimized due to the constrained implementation of the minformasiomnal role and the decision-making role of the head of the field. This happens because the dissemination of information often does not reach all employees because it is not conveyed in a way that is easily understood and relevant, and there is still dominance by the head of the field in decision making. To optimize the managerial role in decision-making needs to be balanced with increasing subordinate participation and adopting a more collaborative and inclusive approach to optimize the managerial role and improve overall organizational performance

Abstract

General elections (elections) are a means of implementing popular sovereignty, where the people determine for themselves the choices they believe in. This means that the people have full power to determine their leaders, because the people hold the highest power. Jambi Province is a socially plural region, there are several tribes in Jambi province including 44% of Jambi origin tribes, 29% of Javanese, followed by 5% Malays, 5% Minangkabau, 4% Batak, 3% Banjar. , Bugis 3%, Sundanese 3%, Tribes from South Sumatra 3%, Chinese 1%, and Others 1%. The approach taken in this research used a qualitative descriptive approach with purposive sampling techniques with interview techniques with direct informant sources. From the results of the research, voter behavior in Jambi City from an organizational and youth perspective can be taken broadly. The behavior of the people of Jambi City can be categorized as rational and critical voter behavior. This is supported by data that shows the demands and expectations they want from the candidates who will run in the 2024 election for governor of Jambi Province. The vision and mission and work programs they offer to the community will be the main factors for the people of Jambi city in making their choice. Political parties in the results of this research do not have a large role in determining society's choices.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the quality of public services and employee work discipline on public satisfaction in Hajj services at the Ministry of Religion, Kaur Regency. The method used in this research is a sampling method of 50 respondents in the community who will register themselves as prospective pilgrims at the Ministry of Religion of Kaur Regency. There are three problem formulations and hypotheses proposed to be proven through partial tests (t-test) and simultaneous tests (F-test). To analyze the magnitude of each coefficient of public service quality and employee work discipline on the satisfaction of people who receive Hajj services, they are analyzed using a multiple linear regression model. The research results are based on respondents' responses to the indicators used in the research on the variable quality of public services "Very Good, employee work discipline "Good" and satisfaction of people who received Hajj services also received a response of "Good". The results of hypothesis testing using the t-test found a public service quality variable where t-hit = 4.320) > t-table = 1.6679) and p value (sig.α=0.00) < 0.05, on the employee work discipline variable t-hit = 8.946 > t-table) = 1.6679) and p value (sig.α = 0.00) < 0.005. The two hypotheses can be partially concluded that there is a positive and significant influence on the quality of public services and employee work discipline on public satisfaction with Hajj services at the Ministry of Religion, Kaur Regency. The results of this research are supported by simultaneous tests with the F-count test = 73.621 ≥ F-table = 3.20) and p value (Sig.α = 0.00) < 0.05, the conclusion is that the quality of public service and work discipline factors employees simultaneously have an influence on community satisfaction with Hajj services at the Ministry of Religion, Kaur Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the transactional communication of pembimbing kemasyarakatan with child clients in the guidance counselling process at the Class II Bengkulu Bapas. This research approach uses qualitative methods. Informants were selected by pembimbing kemasyarakatan and child clients and determined using purposeful techniques. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Research results: personality and independence correctional counselling guidance with transactional communication went well. Child clients who initially had non-compliant behaviour in self-reporting and did not participate in personality and independence guidance activities experienced changes in compliance and recovered from psychological trauma. Transactional communication between pembimbing kemasyarakatan and child Clients uses the Didactic Method in an open manner, Empty Chairs can feel and understand the child Client's physical and psychological condition regarding their psychological trauma. Playing the role of mutual need between  pembimbing kemasyarakatan and child clients. characterization The family trusts the child client, does not dictate to them, and always tries to provide examples of positive behavior to the child client. Analysis rituals of and leisure and awareness the willingness of pembimbing kemasyarakatan to place themsel with Klien anak. Abstract

This research adopts the policy implementation theory developed by Riant Nugroho (2017) and analyzed using Van Metter and Van Horn theory, focusing on the implementation stages, and referring to Bengkulu City Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of a Child Decent City. The aspects that are the focus of the research involve socialization of KLA programs, monitoring the implementation of KLA, coordinating the mobilization of fund resources and KLA facilities and infrastructure, as well as the implementation of programs related to child protection issues, namely children's forums. The research method applied is descriptive qualitative, To strengthen the argument, the author collects data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the Child Decent City Program at the Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Office of Bengkulu City has not reached an optimal level. These obstacles are Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) which are still difficult .
