This study aims to examine the influence of classical counseling services on the improvement of self-control among tenth-grade students at SMA Cerdas Murni, Tembung, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, utilizing a pretest-posttest Nonequivalent Control Group. The study population includes tenth-grade students at SMA Cerdas Murni, and the sample was selected using purposive sampling techniques. The sample consisted of 29 students from class X-4 in the experimental group and 26 students from class X-3 in the control group. The data were obtained from self-control questionnaires filled out by students both before (pretest) and after (posttest) the counseling services were provided. The data source included responses from 55 students who participated in the study. The instrument used is a. Data analysis was carried out using the t-test after normality and homogeneity tests were conducted. The results of the study showed an Asymp.sig (2-tailed) value of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating that the hypothesis is accepted (H1). Classical counseling services were proven to significantly improve students' self-control. Students who received these services showed greater self-control improvement compared to those who did not. This indicates that classical counseling services are effective in helping students enhance their self-control abilities.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of poverty, Gini ratio, and school enrollment rates on the Human Development Index (HDI) at the provincial level in Indonesia. This research uses quantitative methods with a panel data regression analysis approach. The research population includes all Indonesian HDI data, while the research sample consists of annual data on the variables Poverty, Gini ratio, and School Enrollment Rate (APS) in 34 provinces from 2011 to 2020. Data was collected through official statistical documentation and analyzed using a fixed effects model (fixed effect model) selected based on the Chow test and Hausman test. The research results show that poverty and the Gini ratio negatively influence HDI by -.0421 and -15.37 respectively, while APS has a positive influence of 0.269. Simultaneously, the variables Poverty, Gini Ratio, and APS have a significant effect on HDI in Indonesia worth 268,901. It appears that poverty, income inequality, and school enrollment rates significantly influence human development in Indonesia, indicating that efforts to increase HDI require attention to reducing poverty, reducing inequality, and increasing access to education

Abstract

Using the survey method, this quantitative research aims to examine the effect of work stress on turnover intention, with job burnout as a mediating variable among medical personnel at the Central General Hospital, Prof. R. D. Kandou, Manado. Through random sampling techniques, as many as 105 respondents out of 120 medical personnel were selected as samples, and data was obtained using a closed questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using the SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares) method using SmartPLS 3 software to evaluate the validity and reliability of indicators and test the relationship between variables in the research model. This study found that work stress had a positive and significant effect on job burnout, with an influence value of 0.794, and turnover intention, with an influence value of 0.455. At the same time, job burnout positively affected turnover intention, with an influence value of 0.433. It is proven that the higher the level of work stress in medical personnel, the more likely they are to experience burnout and intend to leave work.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find the effect of Self-Determination Motivation and academic achievement of the students of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Training UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya and to reveal the motivation of self-determination in the lectures of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Training UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. This study uses correlational quantitative methods with the research subjects of Tarbiyah students and Teachers at UIN Sunan Ampel. Sampling was done using a stratified random sampling technique from 676. The sample was taken randomly from 127 students from 8 study programs. Data was collected through self-determination motivation questionnaires and documentation of student academic scores, as well as with a statistical regression analysis technique using SPSS Version 23 simple linear and descriptive analysis. The t-count value is 7.721, with a significance value of 0.000. The t-table value obtained from the statistical table is 1.979. If a comparison is made, then t count > t table or the significance is < 5% significance level so that the self-determination motivation has a significant effect on academic ability at the significant level (5%). The results of the statistical analysis found intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and no amotivation was found in students of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Training UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya, and the variety of self-determination motivation was the intrinsic and extrinsic variety.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the significant effect of the inquiry model with scaffolding on science literacy and science learning outcomes. This type of research uses quasi-experimental and quantitative methods with a non-equivalent posttest-only control class design. The sample was determined using the class random sampling technique within abstract groups with a random technique, and the study population was all 6th-grade students in Cluster II of Blitar Regency. This study used a sample of 48 6th-grade students in the control class of 26 students and 21 students in the experimental class, selected using a random sampling technique. The sample selection criteria were based on students who showed variations in science literacy based on the results of initial observations and discussions with class teachers. The study was conducted in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Data collection was carried out using tests. The data in this study consisted of quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data in the form of student test scores. Qualitative data were obtained through interviews with class teachers and open questionnaires for 6th-grade students. Data collection methods include observations of student learning activities in class, structured interviews with teachers, and document analysis of students' science literacy scores at school. The data were analyzed using statistical tests Anova and Manova. The results showed that the use of inquiry models with scaffolding had a positive effect on the scientific literacy of grade 6 students (the F count of 4.841 is greater than the F table of 4.05), which is equal to 29.742, which is greater than the F table of 4.05). Simultaneously, there is an effect between scientific literacy and the science learning outcomes of students taught using the inquiry scaffolding model, obtained F of 29.0742; p less than 0.05. It is concluded that the use of inquiry models with scaffolding contributes to improving scientific literacy and science learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of digitally differentiated Arabic language learning for students with special needs in the Integrated Islamic Elementary School at SDIT Darul Falah Sukoreo Ponorogo. It is case study research involving seven students with special needs at SDIT Darul Falah. The data collection technique uses observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis is carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions drawn. The study results showed that Arabic at SDIT Darul Falah Sukorejo Ponorogo is a lesson within the framework of an informal curriculum that must be taught to regular students and students with special needs. Second, the Arabic learning methodology for students with special needs focuses on the self-esteem approach, which aims to increase student confidence, which can affect Arabic's motivation and learning outcomes. Third, Digital Differentiated Arabic Language Learning for students with special needs uses more digital media such as audio-visual media, animated graphics, and educational and social media; this effort is carried out on the principle of second language learning (B2), which must involve the needs of students, especially students with special needs. Digitally differentiated Arabic learning has shown its effectiveness in improving the quality of learning. This digital media can help students with special needs to understand and interact with Arabic more easily. Teachers at SDIT must be trained to use the self-esteem approach and digital technology to learn Arabic. This is so teachers can effectively teach students with special needs.

Results show that there is no positive relationship between resilience and performance. Resilience and job resources have a positive and significant effect on work engagement. Job resources and job demand have a positive and significant effect on performance. No positive relationship between resilience and performance. Job demand and work engagement also have no positive relationship. Work engagement mediates the relationship between job resources and performance but does not mediate the relationship between job demand and performance.
