Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe the effect of portfolio assessment evaluation and grade-based assessment of SDN Periuk 5 Kota Tangerang. This writing is a descriptive qualitative research in the form of observation sheet through the teacher's fifth-grade interview SDN Peruk 5 Kota Tangerang The results of this study indicate that the teacher SDN Periuk 5 Kota Tangerang has been using portfolio assessment and class-based assessment for a long time in accordance with established procedures. As well as in conducting these assessments the teacher is very more objective in assessing students.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain comprehensive information about the evaluation of thematic learning by using authentic assessments at SDN Pasar Baru 1 Tangerang City. The findings are as follows: in the thematic learning evaluation activities with authentic assessment, the assessment uses the bloom taxonomy contained C1 to C6. In the implementation of authentic learning does not always run smoothly. There are several obstacles including the aspect of the teacher or instructor, there are still some who are less creative in the learning process. This makes the authentic assessment itself difficult to do. To overcome this, the teacher must be equipped with the ability to create more creative and diverse learning methods or media that can make learning more active, thus minimizing the obstacles in authentic assessment.

Abstract

The implementation of thematic learning evaluation in elementary schools is an important thing to do so that the expected goals are achieved, especially in the curriculum itself, one form of education implementation is thematic learning that promotes knowledge comprehensively and integrity. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, describing the results of the study. The data collection technique used by researchers interviewed The research was conducted at SDN Cipondoh 3 Tangerang. Evaluations are carried out in the form of processes and results. This thematic learning evaluation implementation has been going very well, supported by the fulfillment of National Education standards and teachers who have good motivation, creativity, and performance.

Abstract

Someone who does not have an adequate educational background or skills only has the opportunity to be a laborer. If manual labor is no longer needed, it will potentially become unemployed. Skills education (vocational) which is obtained non-essential is important to enter the workforce. Education and skills can be a determinant of the future. A high educational background, but not enough skills can lead to difficulty finding a job. Conversely, ownership of skills, but don't have a formal educational background also has the potential to become unemployed due to high competition in the world of work. Ideally, young people must-have skills that are obtained informally and supplemented with adequate formal education so as not to become unemployed.

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) How to evaluate the learning of speaking skills in Indonesian language subjects in grade IV SDN Balaraja I (2) Barriers to teacher implementation of speaking skills evaluation in Indonesian language subjects in grade IV SDN Balaraja I and (3) Efforts teacher in overcoming obstacles in the implementation of the evaluation of speaking skills in Indonesian language subjects grade IV SDN Balaraja I. This study used a descriptive qualitative design, the subject of this study was the teacher grade IV. The object of this research is the way to implement speaking skills evaluation in Indonesian language subjects in grade IV SDN Balaraja I, the obstacles of teachers in the implementation of speaking skills evaluation in Indonesian subjects in class IV Balaraja I and the efforts of teachers in overcoming obstacles in the implementation of evaluation of speaking skills in subjects Indonesian language class IV students of SDN Balaraja I. Data collection in this study used observation and interview methods. Analysis of the data used is the Miles and Huberman analysis model. The results of this study indicate that (1) SDN Balaraja I in grade IV A students have several students who experience obstacles in speaking skills (2) there are three obstacles teachers in evaluating speaking skills, namely a) difficulties in preparing students' readiness to participate in learning, b) difficulty in arranging class hours, and c) difficulty in managing large classes, (3) and there are three attempts made by teachers in evaluating speaking skills a) implementing accurate strategies to motivate students, b) making time effective, and c) managing students' speaking time.

Abstract

This article will illustrate the important aspects needed in managing an entrepreneurial service in the field of event organizers (EO). These aspects include business opportunities, the type, and type of business, as well as the needs and readiness in running an EO business. Service businesses or EO services can be understood as services about handling or managing an event that is done professionally, regularly, and planned starting from the preparation, implementation, and post-event. As a business that has economic benefits, EO is understood as a commercial service provided by a company to manage an event as a whole professionally.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) model on the learning outcomes of English class VA and VB in SDN Karang Sari I. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a quantitative approach, while the sample used in this study is VA class students and VB, each of which numbered 20 people, the method of collecting data on learning outcomes using multiple-choice tests and observations. Data analysis techniques used in this study were the normality test, two variance homogeneity tests, and the hypothesis test (t-test) used to determine the effect of the SAVI (Somatic, Auditory, Visual, Intellectual) learning model on English learning outcomes of VA and VB students in SDN Karang Sari I. Based on statistical perceptions the comparison of t arithmetic with t table shows 0.000> 0.05, which indicates that there is a significant comparison between the learning outcomes of English students in grade VA and VB in SDN Karang Sari I.

Abstract

This journal discusses class-based assessment and portfolio-based assessment. The research method used is a description with a portfolio instrument, observation, and interviews. The study was conducted at SDN Karang Sari I, Tangerang City. The data source consisted of 27 portfolios made by grade IV children, consisting of 13 girls and 14 boys. Data was also obtained from a library clerk and a class teacher. In other words, the object of the study came from 27 respondents, who were expected from the classroom and portfolio to be able to improve the assessment system created by the teacher.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the evaluation of Thematic learning of low class in knowing the evaluation of thematic learning in applying Thematic in SDN Belendung Tengah 01 and knowing how the teacher understood Thematic Middle Belendung 01 SDN 2013. The research method used in this study used the results of interviews between researchers and resource persons, with the determination of the resource persons in the Thematic section of SDN Belendung Tengah 01, according to the information we needed. Regarding how the evaluation of teachers in dealing with the 2013 thematic then the data is processed through a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Conclusions from the results of research on teacher issues in applying Thematic 2013 and evaluations used by teachers in dealing with Thematic 2013 applications at Belendung Tengah Elementary School 01.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the significant influence of reading comprehension skills between groups of students who are taught by using a learning strategy Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) assisted by serial image media and groups of students who do not use a learning strategy Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) assisted by serial image media in fifth-grade students at Sudimara 13 Elementary School Academic Year 2020/2021. This research is a quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent post-test only control group design. The research sample consisted of 51 students, consisting of 23 students of the VA class as the experimental group and 28 students of the VB grade as the control group. The sample selection uses a random sampling technique. Data on reading comprehension skills were collected using instruments in the form of multiple-choice tests. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis (t-test). The results showed that tcount > ttable (tcount 5, 57 > ttable 1, 70). Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that there are significant differences in students' reading comprehension skills that are learned by using Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) learning strategies assisted by serial images media and students who are not taught by using Directed Reading Thinking Activity (DRTA) learning strategies assisted with image media beamed in class V at SDN Sudimara 13 in Academic Year 2020/2021.
