Abstract

This study aims to determine whether students have difficulty in learning mathematics in story problems with the volume of cubes and blocks for class V SDN Poris Pelawad 6 Tangerang City, the research method used is qualitative and the sample is taken randomly, using a sample of 7 students and using descriptive qualitative methods and data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation and tests, the most errors were errors in process skills as much as 52.94% while the least errors in understanding the questions were 15.69%.

Abstract

This study is intended to evaluate the process of implementing online learning (in the network) at SDN Sudimara 12 Ciledug, Tangerang city. This evaluation is focused on how the learning implementation process takes place. Existing learning planning and the difficulties that exist when online learning takes place. The purpose of this study was to obtain information about how the implementation process during online learning was carried out. This study used qualitative research with the phenomenological method. At SDN Sudimara 12 Ciledug, Tangerang city, the respondents were second grade teachers and a sample of 8 students. The research data were collected using interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study, the evaluation of the process of implementing online learning at SDN Sudimara 12 has been going well.

Abstract

Students' critical thinking skills are indispensable for understanding and solving a math problem or problem that requires reasoning, analysis, evaluation and interpretation of the mind. But if there is no ability and critical thinking ability then students are not able to solve math problems to the maximum. This research aims to describe the level of students' critical thinking skills in solving mathematical problems in the calculation of summation and subtraction operations in grade I of State Elementary School 6 Poris Plawad Kota Tangerang. In this study used 4 indicators of critical thinking skills according to Facione, namely interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference. The subjects in the study were grade I students consisting of 32 students. The approach used is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are done by conducting written tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques are carried out with the stages of reduction, presentation of data (data display), and conclusion withdrawal (verification). The results of the data analysis showed that: students who are able to think critically are students who are able to meet the overall indicators of critical thinking. Students who are critically capable are being able to meet indicators of interpretation and analysis but are less able to meet evaluation and inference indicators. Students who are low-critical thinking, less able to interpret problems and unable to meet indicators of analysis, evaluation, and inference. He is still less able to understand the problem so that when writing the known and asked is incomplete and when making a mathematical model (mathematical sentence) is not appropriate even does not make it at all because it does not attach importance to the pace of workmanship, and directly answers it with conclusions. In this case, the role of the teacher is very important in training students and getting used to solving training problems so that students' critical thinking skills can develop.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the difficulties of children with special mathematical needs. This research is qualitative. Data were collected by observation, interview, and documentation methods. The analysis technique uses observation, interview and documentation methods. From the results of the study, it was found that the cause of learning difficulties in mathematics for children with special needs was because the learning design, learning methods, learning media and the use of language in special mathematics learning in inclusive classes were not perfect.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic causes changes that have happened, particularly in the education sector. To make education perform properly, the Government issued policies to education scope to be flexible in choosing a curriculum that appropriates the students’ learning needs. In this case, online learning can be an alternative that can be used to maintain learning operating well. The purpose of this study was that the researcher wanted to look at Informatics Engineering students’ perception of discrete mathematics learning conducted online. The method used was a qualitative research method. The subjects in this study were three classes of 1st-semester Informatics Engineering students who were receiving discrete mathematics material. The research data were obtained from questionnaires filled out by students online via Google Form. The results of this study included 1) Informatics Engineering students agreed with online discrete mathematics effectiveness learning, 2) Informatics Engineering students’ easiness perception in accessing the internet when they got discrete mathematics learning online felt easy, 3) students felt they understood the material obtained during online discrete mathematics learning, and 4) Informatics Engineering students felt happy with this online discrete mathematics learning.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the learning system in various countries. Online learning policies are referred to as alternative learning that can be done at this time. Self-regulated learning is a skill to manage yourself in an ongoing learning process. Researchers used a literature review design to explain the purpose of writing articles, namely: (1) obtaining a picture of high school students' self-regulated learning in doing online learning in Indonesia; (2) describe effective self-regulated learning strategies in online learning. The results show that high school students in Indonesia have a good level of independent learning which can be seen from the attitude of responsibility, discipline, and have high initiative and motivation to learn. In this literature study we identified seven self-regulated learning strategies related to academic achievement in online learning: self-efficacy, metacognition, time management, effort regulation, critical thinking, elaboration, and help-seeking.

Abstract

This research was appointed based on the background of developing modules based on local wisdom in thematic learning for fourth grade students at SDN 19 Pasir Tinggi. The teaching materials/modules used by educators are still not based on local wisdom. The discussion of learning materials is still comprehensive and does not link the material being taught with the conditions in the immediate environment of students. As a result, students find it difficult to understand the material being studied. Based on this, a local wisdom-based learning module was developed. Theme 1 The Beauty of Togetherness, sub-theme 1 Cultural diversity of my nation learning 1 and 2. This study aims to produce valid, practical and effective modules to be used as supporting teaching materials/modules for fourth grade elementary school students. . This type of research is development research (R&D) using a 4-D model (define, design, development, disseminate). This research was conducted in a limited number of 10-15 people. Data collection instruments in this study were in the form of module validation sheets (design experts, linguists, and material experts), practicality tests and effectiveness tests. The results of the validation of the development of local wisdom-based modules with four validators were declared very valid, ten students for the practicality test were declared very practical, and ten students for the effectiveness test were also declared very effective. With the level of validity, the validity test results obtained from the percentage of design feasibility (93.18%), language (80.76 %), material I (90.38%) and material II (92.30%). The results of the practicality test for educators get an average value (90.76%) and from the practicality test by students get a value (92.75%) The results of the effectiveness test of ten students get an average value (96%) for learning I and (96%) for study II. Proving that the development of local wisdom-based learning modules in thematic learning for fourth grade students of SDN 19 Pasir Tinggi theme 1 sub-theme 1 learning 1 and 2 is declared valid, practical, and feasible to use.

Abstract

Birds play an important role and are animals associated with mangrove forest ecosystems. This study aims to identify bird species in the Sungai Gemuruh Teluk Mandeh ecotourism area from November 2022 to December 2022 using Visual Encounter Survey (VES) and point counting methods. Observations were made in the morning (06:00 – 09:00 WIB) and afternoon (16:00 – 18:00 WIB). Data from studies are analyzed descriptively and presented in the form of tables and figures As a result, there were 18 species of birds in his 10 families, 3 of which were waterfowl. The bird species most frequently found during observations were Passer montanus (Erasia sparrow) and Pycnonotus goiavier (Merbah Cerukcuk).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of positive thinking training on increasing academic self-efficacy. This type of research is a quantitative quasi experiment with the nonrandomized pretest posttest group design.. The research subjects were 30 students of SMA PGRI 3 Padang City. The results showed that from the hypothetical framework it was found that there was an increase in the average score of the experimental group compared to the control group. This is evidenced by the different test Independent sample T-test with sig. (2-tailed) is worth 0.000. So that Ha is accepted, it can be concluded that positive thinking training has an effect on increasing the academic self-efficacy of SMA PGRI 3 Padang city students.
