Abstract

The advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution has catalyzed transformative changes in the healthcare sector, highlighting the need to optimize Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve patient satisfaction. This research examines the role of AI in revolutionizing the healthcare market and its potential to improve patient outcomes. Using a systematic literature review, we collected and analyzed studies published from 2017 to 2022 from various databases such as ProQuest, Science Direct, PubMed, CINAHL, and Scopus, focusing on AI applications in healthcare and its impact on patient satisfaction. Inclusion criteria for the initial screening were articles that were freely available in full text, had open access, and were published in English or Indonesian, as well as ensuring no duplication in the records found. Significant findings were synthesized through thematic and descriptive analysis to ascertain the efficacy of AI in patient care. Of the 25 articles relevant for further evaluation, 12 studies met the inclusion criteria and were included in the qualitative analysis. The chosen methodology allowed the authors to conduct a comprehensive and systematic review. A practical suggestion that can be drawn from these findings is the importance of investing in the development of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare. This requires adequate training for staff to understand and use these technologies effectively. In addition, healthcare institutions should ensure that the use of AI remains compliant with applicable privacy and ethical regulations. Collaboration between various parties such as healthcare institutions, technology providers, and researchers is also necessary to accelerate innovation and knowledge exchange. By utilizing real-time data analysis powered by AI, healthcare can be improved, and governments can support innovation in AI by providing incentives, supportive regulations, and adequate research funding.  Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Healthcare Revolution, Patient Satisfaction, Service Optimization

Abstract

Behavior of early initiation of breastfeeding in postpartum mothers is still a health problem in the world. Early initiation of breastfeeding has become an internationally and nationally recommended program as part of Mother and Baby Friendly Hospital services. Caesarean section is one of the obstacles in implementing early initiation of breastfeeding. This scoping review aims to assess the policy of early breastfeeding initiation after cesarean section in hospitals. This research design is a scoping review, using 4 databases, namely Google Scholar, Ebsco, Pro Quest, and Science Direct. The stages and flow of selecting research articles using PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items For Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses) Flowchart, and to assess the quality of the article researchers used a checklist from the Joanna Briggs Institute. Literature study that summarizes several accredited journal articles from 2018-2023 that are relevant to the title. This research selected quantitative and qualitative research articles with cross-sectional or case control research designs. In the journal search, researchers used boolean operators for predetermined keywords, adding "OR", "AND" according to the topic. The results found two themes and six subthemes from the 8 articles screened, namely the success factors of breastfeeding in post-cesarean section mothers, maternal knowledge, maternal attitudes, decisions in planning labor and implementation of early breastfeeding initiation. Meanwhile, efforts to make early breastfeeding initiation a success continue with the support of health workers and program policies. Support and policy efforts from health care providers have a positive influence on breastfeeding mothers, especially mothers who undergo cesarean delivery in hospitals. Keywords: Challenges, Early initiation of breastfeeding, Hospital, Post sectio caesarea

Abstract

Breast milk is the best food for babies because it can build antibodies from an early age. Exclusively breastfeeding babies with additional food from birth to 6 months of age can prevent infectious diseases such as otiris media, diarrhea and acute respiratory infections. In Indonesia, the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding is still low due to various factors related to socio-demographics. Low access to relevant information about exclusive breastfeeding is also the cause of mothers' low knowledge about the benefits of exclusively breastfeeding their babies. Apart from that, adequate support from family and health workers also influences exclusive breastfeeding. This research aims to determine the relationship between socio-economics, family support and support from health workers on exclusive breastfeeding for babies 0-6 months in the Sawah Lebar Community Health Center area, Bengkulu City. Cross sectional research design with a sample of 98 babies aged 6-12 months selected using proportional random sampling technique. Data were analyzed univariately using a frequency distribution table, bivariately using chi square and multi variately using logistic regression. The results of the study found that there was a relationship between economic status and exclusive breastfeeding, p=0.00, there was a relationship between family support and exclusive breastfeeding, p=0.00, and there was a relationship between support from health workers and exclusive breastfeeding, p=0.00. Multivariate test results found that economic status was the most dominant factor influencing exclusive breastfeeding with a value of p=0.00. It is recommended for health workers to provide exclusive breastfeeding education in structured groups, the intervention given must take into account working mothers from middle to upper economic groups and involve family members. Keywords:  Exclusive breastfeeding, economy, family, officers

Abstract

One approach taken to reduce the prevalence of stunting is by providing additional recovery food to malnourished toddlers. The Rumah Pelita supplementary food program has been running in Kedung Banteng District since 2020. In the implementation of the Rumah Pelita Program, there are still existing cases of stunting and the nutritional status of targets and there has never been an evaluation of the Rumah Pelita program. The aim of the research is to determine the evaluation of the supplementary feeding program made from local food in Kedungbanteng District, Tegal Regency in terms of input, process and output aspects. This research method is qualitative research which is descriptive and evaluative in nature. The research period is January-March 2023. The research was conducted in 5 villages in the Kedungbanteng Community Health Center area. The main informants were 1 nutrition officer and 5 village midwives, and triangulation informants were 5 Rumah Pelita cadres and 5 mothers of toddlers. Data collection used in-depth interviews, while the source triangulation method was used to validate the data. Research data analysis is data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the number of cadres is still insufficient, and there are still villages that have not budgeted for equipment rental and transportation for cadres, there are deficiencies in reporting and recording and there are still toddlers who experience stunting. There needs to be integration of central and regional government policies regarding handling stunting in toddlers, so that there is a division of the budget for handling stunting. and it is recommended that health workers provide health education about stunting prevention and routinely monitor the development of toddlers.  Keyword: Stunting, Policy, Nutrition, Provision of supplementary food, Toddler

Abstract

Many methods of processing well water have been previously studied, but there has been no research aimed at reducing the physical, chemical, and microbiological parameters so that the treated water can be directly consumed. This research aims to determine the appropriate thickness of the series filter media and its ability to process well water into drinking water. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a pre-test post-test design. In the initial stage before the intervention, an examination of the physical parameters (turbidity, color, Total Dissolved Solids/TDS), chemical parameters (iron, manganese, hardness), and microbiological parameters (E. coli bacteria) in well water samples was conducted. In the second stage, changes in water parameters were assessed after treatment using the Parallel Filter Model. The research results show a percentage reduction in turbidity of well water in the Milala Housing Complex in the Pancurbatu Subdistrict, reaching 90.9% - 100%. The percentage reduction in iron (Fe) content of well water in the Milala Housing Complex is 81.9% - 96.2%. The percentage reduction in manganese (Mn) content of well water is 76.9% - 100%. The percentage reduction in water hardness in the Milala Housing Complex is 58.3% - 97.6%, and the reduction in the presence of E. coli in well water occurred in three out of five locations that initially tested positive for E. coli. The series filter is capable of reducing turbidity, iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), the presence of E. coli, and water hardness in well water.  Keywords : Drinking water, filter seri, well water treatment
