Abstract

Distribution of agricultural commodities to processing industries requires quite large costs. This is caused by suboptimal allocation. Optimal allocation must take into account differences in transportation distribution costs in each destination area. Pamah Village has a corn commodity, corn which is produced during the harvest season. In each harvest season, the harvest is sold to 5 collectors. From these collectors, it is marketed to 12 corn processing industries. In optimizing allocation and minimizing distribution costs, it is completed using a fuzzy approach and the North West Corner method to get an initial solution, as well as the Fuzzy Modified Distribution method to get an optimal solution. The results of this research resulted in distribution of deliveries from 5 collectors to 12 corn processing industries with a minimum total cost of Rp 1,410,507,435.00.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the final ranking results of the AHP method through sensitivity analysis. The sensitivity value is sought to predict the situation if there is a change in the weight of the decision criteria. A case example in this research is the determination of an exemplary teacher at SDN 028068 Binjai based on their performance using the AHP method. The decision criteria for this research are Academic Qualifications ( ), Educator Certificate ( ), Pedagogical Competency ( ), Personality Competency ( ), Social Competency ( ), and Professional Competency ( ). Before sensitivity analysis, preliminary final results were obtained by the AHP method. From the final results of the initial ranking using the AHP method, experiments were carried out through several stages of sensitivity analysis. Of all the experiments, generally experienced the most changes in priority order, especially in  with 12 changes in alternative priority order. Then through the sensitivity testing process, sensitivity 1 gets the highest value in the experiment with a value of 0.0282, sensitivity 2 in the experiment with a value of 0.1269, and sensitivity 3 in the  experiment with a value of 0.1256.

Abstract

Abstract

JNE Express is one of the companies engaged in the field of shipping goods, the high level of shipping goods carried out and the many types of goods and types of services available at JNE Express, therefore knowledge is needed regarding the variables that affect the level of shipping goods and segmentation of the types of goods to be shipped. In this study, it is suspected that the type of service and special handling variables on the package affect the level of shipping goods carried out by JNE Express, Medan branch in the outbound unit. The approach used to determine the relationship between latent variables and model segmentation in shipping data is PLS-MFC (Partial Least Square-Modified Fuzzy Clustering). The results of the study showed that all variable indicators were significant where 4 of the 5 services type variable indicators were significant to the quantity of shipping goods, and 2 of the 2 special handling variable indicators were significant. The optimal segment results obtained based on the lowest FPI and NCE values were 2 segments or classes with an FPI value of 0.998 and an NCE value of 1.242. Where the exogenous latent variable that affects the high quantity of goods is the type of service with the REG indicator

Abstract

Quality control is the application of a statistical model of quality control to collect and analyze data to evaluate and monitor production results. Melia Frame Calligraphy is an agent and manufacturer of frames or frame bars and finished frameworks made from fiber and wood. The best-selling product is the wall display. Although wall displays are in high demand, they are also the most returned products due to defects since 2023. Based on observation data, it is calculated that the product defect data is quite high, with an average total of 34 defects per day. This study aims to detect the quality of wall display products with  (Mahalanobis Distance) and  Hotelling control charts at Melia Frame Calligraphy Trade Business. The results of this study found that the product experienced the most defects in October 2023 with a total defective product of 1009 units. By using the control diagram, 20 observations out of a total of 75 observations are outside the control limits, then by using the control diagram, 2 observations out of a total of 75 observations are outside the control limits. This shows that the wall display production process is not yet under control. These observations show that the  (Mahalanobis Distance) control chart has more sensitive control limits than the  Hotelling control chart control limits.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of genetic algorithms in solving the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) on the distribution route of goods at SiCepat Ekspres, especially in Medan City. Limiting the research area to Medan City and involving 7 branch warehouses as destination points, the genetic algorithm found the shortest route of 72.6 km. In this study, the mutation process is limited to genes of the 3rd to 7th order to reduce the possibility of damaging an already good solution, thus maintaining the quality of the solution while still providing opportunities for further improvement. The results show that the genetic algorithm can provide an efficient shortest route solution, so that it can help improve the efficiency of goods distribution at SiCepat Ekspres.
