Abstract

The library is a means of supporting teaching and learning activities in schools because it stores library materials so that there needs to be good management so that it can be used as an alternative to strengthening literacy culture. This study aims to describe library management and the form of literacy activities that exist in the library of SD Muhammadiyah Sudagaran Wonosobo. This research is a qualitative research with the subject of the principal, librarian, teachers and students. The object of the research is library management and literacy activities in the library. Data collection techniques are indepth interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The data validity test technique is source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of the research on library management as an alternative to strengthening literacy culture in SD Muhammadiyah Sudagaran Wonosobo have been managed properly and optimally. Library management is carried out by planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring. The literacy activities in the library are reading, writing, scientific and mathematical literacy.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic that occurred had an impact on the sustainability of educational institutions. In response, the government took a policy related to the flexibility of the use of School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds for educational institutions to be used based on the analysis of important needs to be met. The research method used is the study of literature with the topic of the efficiency of allocating BOS funds in the study of the concept of educational financial management. The results illustrate that in order for bos funding allocation to be efficient, it must pay attention and prioritize the principles of financial management, namely fairness, efficiency, transparency and public accountability. In addition, the process of planning, organizing, implementing and controlling is still carried out properly in accordance with standards. The factors supporting the success of BOS fund efficiency are HR factors, communication, clear organizational structure and attitudes from the leadership of an educational institution. The hope is that the use of BOS funds can be more useful and targeted to finance the learning needs of educational institutions affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

One of the goals of teacher supervision is to improve skills and competencies in classroom learning. So that the purpose of this study is to find out how to improve the basic skills of teaching productive teachers of  Vocational High School Arina through the application of scientific  model supervision with a directive approach. The subjects of this study were 5 (five) productive teachers. The research design used was school action research which was carried out in two cycles. The results showed an increase in each skill from cycle I with an average value of 71 with a sufficient value category to an average score of 87 in the second cycle with a good score category. Thus this action research shows that the application of scientific model supervision with a directive approach can improve the basic skills of teaching productive teachers at Vocational High School Arina Sidikalang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah ada pengaruh pengelolaan fasilitas bengkel terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di SMK N Kasiman Bojonegoro pada jurusan teknik kendaraan ringan kelas XII mata pelajaran pemeliharaan sassis dan pemindah tenaga. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Sampel yang diambil yaitu kelas XII TKR 3 dengan 26 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu variabel independent yaitu pengelolaan fasilitas bengkel (X) dan satu variabel dependen yaitu prestasi belajar (Y). Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah data primer berupa angket dengan 26 responden dan data sekunder berupa nilai ulangan tengah semester mapel pemeliharaan sassis dan pemindah tenaga. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan ex post facto. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui nilai signifikansi (Sign.) sebesar 0.781 yang artinya lebih besar dari 0,05. Selain itu pada variabel independen (pengelolaan fasilitas bengkel) diperoleh nilai thitung=0.281<2.056=ttabel. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak yang berrti tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara pengelolaan fasilitas bengkel (X) tehadap prestasi belajar siswa(Y).

Abstract

Online learning is one option in an effort to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus in schools. So that educators are required to be able to prepare media and learning methods in this online learning process. Several factors that influence the achievement of learning competencies include student activity, teacher performance in teaching, learning media, methods used and a conducive learning environment. This study tries to explore and describe the teacher's efforts in increasing student activity in online learning. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The results of the study show that there are many obstacles that arise from the online learning process carried out during the covid 19 pandemic, starting from the inactivity of students during the learning process, the availability of facilities and infrastructure both from the educators and students' side, internet networks and the availability of data quotas. All have an effect on the learning process carried out by teachers in online classes. The conclusion of this study is that teachers must try to innovate and be creative at the planning, implementation and evaluation stages of learning with this online form of learning. Teachers must follow and master the development of information technology in order to improvise in choosing the right learning models and methods for their students. The government, in collaboration with schools, must provide assistance related to facilities and infrastructure as well as the implementation of training for teachers in order to increase the capacity of teachers to face the challenges of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Relevansi menyangkut dua dimensi, yaitu di program studi dan dunia kerja dunia usaha. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui relevansi lulusan terhadap PLO S1 Pendidikan Teknik Mesin. Dari hasil penelitian akan dijadikan input dalam evaluasi, pengembangan PLO yang telah diterapkan. Metode penelitian bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survey. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen angket melalui website tracer study Unesa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya relevansi lulusan prodi S1 PTM dengan PLO, relevansi ditunjukan dengan adanya keeratan antara bidang studi dengan pekerjaan alumni, pekerjaan alumni memiliki tingkat yang sama antara tingkat pendidikan dengan kualifikasi pekerjaan, jenis pekerjaan alumni sesuai dengan profil lulusan S1 PTM, perlu penguatan kompetensi dari alumni agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan di dunia kerja, terutama kompetensi berdasarkan bidang Pendidikan Teknik Mesin

Abstract

In the verse of Yaseen 36 it is written that there is something unknwon to people at the time. Today we know there is supermicroorganism - that is virus. Virus is the cause of some infection like what happened since early 2020 when the pandemy occurred. The virus is beta-coronavirus novel. This is the new type of corona. It is the cause of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19). Some efforts to overcome the disease includes health protocol such as 5 M in Bahasa Indonesia (wearing mask, washing hands, physical distancing, avoiding crowd, and limiting mobility). Implementation of the health protocol is limited when the public does not support. Public compliance to the policy is influenced by several factors like age and education. The objective of the research is to find out the corelation betweeen knowledge about Covid-19 with compliance to health protocol (5M). I use methodes of survey by filling out questionnaire to students of SMP Islam Al Aszar 10, Kembangan, Jakarta. The result is calculated by using linier equation between knowledge and compliance. Intercept (a)= 60,34641; slope (b)= 0,358306 and corelation (r)= 0,949393. X is knowledge and Y is complaince. From the research we come to a conlusion that some knowledge is still lacking like the life of virus, prevention of cantagion, the size of virus and covid-19. But they comply woth the health protocol of 5 M, seen from slope 0,358306. Although knwledge (X) is low , Y (compliance) high almost the same . It is because the government, the school and the researcher have given some informations about the importance of health protocol of 3 M and now 5 M.

Abstract

Abstrak Dewasa ini banyak keluarga yang kembali melirik Pondok Pesantren sebagai sarana pembinaan moral, karena para orang tua menilai bahwa Pondok mampu menjawab berbagai tantangan dan permasalahan pendidikan kontemporer dengan proses pendidikan dan pengajarannya yang lebih terpadu sehingga mampu lebih efektif membentuk karakter siswa.Siswa yang tinggal di pondok pesantren diasumsikan akan mendapat pembinaan yang lebih mendalam dan terstruktur daripada siswa yang tidak tinggal di pondok. Penelitian ini berfungsi untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan karakter antara siswa yang tinggal di pesantren dan tidak di pesantren. Metode penelitian yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis komparasional, yaitu dengan cara membandingkan akhlak siswa berdasarkan perbedaan lingkungan tempat tinggal. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu siswa yang tinggal di pondok pesantren memiliki karakter yang lebih baik dalam pada kategori Akhlak kepada Alloh, Akhlak kepada diri sendiri, akhlak kepada sesama dan akhlak kepada lingkungan. Hasil t-test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan tentang karakter siswa yang tinggal di lingkungan keluarga dengan siswa yang tinggal di lingkungan pesantren. Kata Kunci: Karakter, siswa yang tinggal di pesantren, siswa yang tinggal di rumah Abstract Nowadays, many families are turning their attention back to Islamic boarding schools as a means of moral development, because parents consider that Islamic boarding schools are able to answer various challenges and problems of contemporary education with a more integrated education and teaching process so that they can be more effective. It is assumed that students who live in Islamic boarding schools will receive more in-depth and structured guidance than students who do not live in Islamic boarding schools. This study serves to determine whether there are differences in character between students who live in Islamic boarding schools and those who do not. The research method used in this research is descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach. This study uses comparative analysis, namely by comparing the morals of students based on differences in the environment they live in. The results of this study are students who live in Islamic boarding schools have better character in the categories of morality to Allah, morality to oneself, morality to others and morality to the environment. The results of the t-test showed that there were significant differences in the character of students who lived in a family environment with students who lived in an Islamic boarding school environment. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the real conditions related to the supervision carried out by school principals during the pandemic. Even though learning is done at home, the implementation must be following applicable regulations and teachers must remain disciplined in administration. This research is a field study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used interviews and observations with principals, teachers, parents, and students at elementary schools in the Sleman Regency, DIY, while information collection used snowball sampling. Data analysis techniques used 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation and 3) data verification. The results of the study show 11 characteristics of school principal supervision to maintain the effectiveness of educational supervision during the pandemic.

Abstract

Abstrak: tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan salah satu tools dalam Manajemen Mutu Terpadu yaitu Diagram Ishikawa guna peningkatan mutu sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian dan pengumpulan data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penyebab permasalahan rendahnya mutu sekolah dilihat dari 3 (tiga) aspek yaitu manajemen, metode, dan sumber daya manusianya yang selanjutnya secara lebih mendalam dikupas dalam artikel penelitian ini.
