Abstract

Discipline is one of the aspects that will be needed to support success in any aspect, including in the process of education and learning. Emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, parental support and the school environment as factors that can affect a student's discipline. Emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, parental support and the school environment are factors that can affect a student's discipline. Type of research explanatory research was conducted with quantitative approach. Data collection technique was used instruments in the form of questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence, parental support, and school environment both simultaneously and partially significantly affect the discipline of students of SMA Batik 1 Surakarta (p value < 0.05). Abstract

The study aims to measure the effect of initiative, work discipline, work motivation, and readiness for change on the employee performance of the Central Java II Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes. The research method of this study is quantitative research. Samples use purposive sampling method, that is, sampling method which uses certain considerations. The sample in this study were certain employees of the Central Java II Regional Office of the Directorate General of Taxes, amounting to 120 samples of 152 total population. Data collection is obtained through questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that (1) initiative variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) work discipline variable has no significant effect on employee performance, (3) The work motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (4) The readiness for change variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Abstract

The main goals of the company is to maximize the prosperity of stakeholders. This goals can be achieved by maximizing the value of company. Sometimes, the company failed to increase the value of the company. One of the causes the company inadequacy inadequacy in applying the factors that affectfirm value. This causes the company’s performance to be viewed poorly by its stakeholders. The purpose of this study was conducted to determine the effect of variable company size, leverage, profitability, and dividend to policy on firm value in manufacturing companies listed on the BEI 2014-2018 period. The sample of this research is manufacturing companies listed on the BEI in the 2014-2018 period with a total of 8 companies and using the purposive sampling method, while the data analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis which is supported by the classical assumption test is normality test, multicolinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test. The result of this study indicate that testing the effect of firm size, leverage, profitability, simultaneously on firm value obtained significant result, partially, dividend policy does not have a significant efeect on firm value.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) To determine the effect of service quality, tax awareness, motivation to pay taxes simultaneously on individual taxpayer compliance at Klaten Primary Tax Office, (2) To determine the effect of service quality on individual taxpayer compliance at Klaten Primary Tax Office, (3) To determine the effect of tax awareness on the compliance of individual taxpayers at Klaten Primary Tax Office, and (4) To determine the influence of motivation to pay taxes on individual taxpayer compliance at Klaten Primary Tax Office. Type of quantitative research. The population is an individual taxpayer at Klaten Primary Tax Office. Researchers took 100 taxpayers as samples. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique is multiple linear regression. Abstract

This study aims to determine the performance of employees reviewed from leadership style, motivation, job satisfaction, and work environment in the technical implementation unit of the central area flood pump area1 at the Semarang City Public Works Office. The research was conducted using a descriptive quantitative approach. The population in this study is all technical implementers of the flood pump area in the central region 1di Public Works Office of Semarang City. 61. The sample used a census technique of 61 employees because the population is less than 100 people. Methods for data analysis that have been used classical assumption test and multiple linear regression analysis. The study results showed that employee performance is influenced by leadership style, motivation, job satisfaction and work environment. Partially the performance variable significantly affects 5% on leadership style, motivation, job satisfaction and work environment in the technical implementation unit of the central area flood pump area 1 at the Semarang City Public Works Office. Therefore, it is expected that the Semarang Public Works Office can choose the right leadership style and reward employees to increase motivation in achieving work performance and needed improvements to the work environment so that employees feel at home and want to improve the performance of each employee. Abstract

According to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), small and medium enterprises (SMEs) account for more than 95% of generating huge new jobs. There are many factors that need to be considered so that SMEs can continue to run well. One of the factors that need to be considered by entrepreneurs is the growth and development of the business they will undertake. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of attitudes, subjective norms and self-confidence of entrepreneurs on the growth of business results. The sample to be taken for this research is SMEs located in South Tangerang. By convenience sampling, as many as 90 SMEs. The technique of collecting data is by distributing questionnaires to the owners of SMEs who are the research sample. In testing empirically the research model uses a partial least squares (PLS) path modeling approach. The results of the study show subjective beliefs and norms have no effect on the growth of operating results. Attitude has an influence on the growth of business results. Abstract

Professional Human Resource Management is needed starting from planning to achieving implementation to improve employee performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the influence of Emotional Quotient, individual characteristics, and communication on performance and to determine which of the three variables had the most significant effect. This research was conducted at the Tourism Office of Badung Regency, Bali Province, using quantitative methods. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling or census, in which all members of the population are used as samples with a total of 108 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using the smart PLS program. The results of the research show that each variable, namely Emotional Quotient, Individual Characteristics, and Communication has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. This study also indicates that Communication has the highest influence value with a path coefficient value of 0.462. The coefficient of determination (R2) of = 0.766 can be interpreted that the variables of Emotional Quotient, Individual Characteristics, and communication in influencing employee performance are 76.6%. The remaining 23.4% is explained by other variables not described in the model.

Abstract

Learning achievement is one of the goals to improve the quality of learning in education. The success of a student in learning can be seen from his learning achievement, if learning is high then achievement will be high, otherwise if achievement is low then achievement will also be low. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interest, achievement motivation, learning style, and independent learning on student achievement at SMP Batik Surakarta. The population of this study were all students of the Surakarta Batik Junior High School at the VIII grade level for the 2020/2021 academic year, totaling 243 students. The sampling technique used simple random sampling and obtained a sample of 102 respondents. The method of collecting data is through a questionnaire of learning interest, achievement motivation, learning style and learning independence, while learning achievement is obtained from the archives of student scores. The instrument test uses validity and reliability tests. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression hypothesis testing, t test, F test and R2 test. The results showed that interest in learning, learning motivation, learning style, learning independence had an effect on student achievement at SMP Batik Surakarta. The result of the determination coefficient test (R2) is 0.850 or 85%, meaning that together there is an influence between the independent variables, namely Learning Interest (X1), Achievement Motivation (X2), Learning Style (X3) and Learning Independence (X4) on Achievement Students (Y) at SMP Batik Surakarta are 85%, while 15% are influenced by other factors, which are not examined, such as family environment, social environment and others.

Abstract

Teachers' performance serves as one of the most pivotal aspects in determining the success of the education and learning process. Work ethos, personality competence, organizational culture, and rewards are among the factors influencing teachers’ performance. The present study aimed to investigate the effect of work ethos, personality competence, organizational culture, and rewards on the teachers’ performance in SMP Batik Surakarta.This research method uses a quantitative descriptive research design with a population of 46 teachers of SMP Batik Surakarta. The sampling technique used was the census technique. The data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination test, t-test, and F-test.The result indicated that the work ethos, personality competence, organizational culture, and rewards positively and significantly affect teachers’ performance in SMP Batik Surakarta. These four variables were found to contribute 80% to teacher performance. work ethos, personality competence, organizational culture, rewards, teachers’ performance.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the influence of the rapid devloment of the busine world that causes very intense competition in it. This study aims to determine work discipline, individual characteristics and total quality management and to find out how much influence the work discipline and individual characteristics have on total quality management of PT. Sinjaraga Santika Sport Majalengka. This research method uses survet methods with Descriptive and Verification approaches. The sample in this study was 40 people, data samples taken from the entire population. This study uses a saturated or census sampling techniques is to spread the questionnaire. The data analysis design used Descriptive Analysis, Verification Analysis, (Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Determination Coefficient Analysis and t Test). The results obtained show that employee work discipline is very high, and total quality management is very high. Partially, work discipline has a significant effect on total quality management, and individual characteristics have a significant effect on total quality management.
