Abstract

University governance seems to have undergone many changes, often associated with economic and/or political crises. Until the 1960s, universities were mostly "ivory towers" run by academics and designed for a specific social category, the elite. In the case of Algeria, it is the government that intervenes in the financing and management of higher education institutions. The idea of reforming the governance of academic institutions is not a passing fad or a project linked to a power process or a party or union agenda. This idea has emerged slowly, with the deepening disintegration of the university system from within and the current emergence of a global transformation movement at the top of various institutions. This work aims to present the main characteristics as well as the strategy of the reform of Higher Education in Algeria.Keywords: University governance, higher education, scientific research, strategy, reform.

Abstract

In the 4.0 industrial revolution, the world of education has taken advantage of developing technology. In this case, pedagogy which is the science of educating, play an important role. Therefore, this study was conducted to find out more about role of pedagogy. This research was conducted through literature review research methods. In fact, in this digital era, there is a gap. Namely that students are more adept at adapting technology compared to educators, this is what makes educators have to study, master, and adapt technology, especially in the teaching and learning process takes place while understanding students in this era. Critical pedagogy will develop and apply critical theoretical concepts in education and cultural studies. Critical pedagogy aims to help students lead meaningful lives by maximizing insight and developing moral sensitivy in applying social conditions in Indonesia and developing their thinking towards open, fair, and free social change. Critical pedagogy has an attempt to reduce the tendency of authoritarian education. Critical pedagogy is also considered to have a profound impact on democratic progress in this country because it can encourage its citizens to think critically, have board insight, make judgements, and take responsibility for their actions.  Keyword: Critical pedagogy, Digital Era, Indonesia. AbstrakPada revolusi industri 4.0, dunia pendidikan telah memanfaatkan teknologi yang berkembang. Dalam hal ini, pedagogik yang merupakan ilmu mendidik pasti ikut berperan penting. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui lebih lanjut mengenai peran pedagogik. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui metode penelitian tinjauan pustaka. Nyatanya, pada era digital ini terdapat kesenjangan, yaitu para peserta didik sudah lebih mahir mengadaptasi teknologi dibandingkan dengan para tenaga pendidik, hal inilah yang membuat tenaga pendidik harus lebih mempelajari, menguasai, dan mengadaptasi teknologi khususnya dalam proses belajar mengajar berlangsung sembari memahami para peserta didik di era ini. Pedagogi kritis akan mengembangkan serta menerapkan konsep teori kritis dalam pendidikan dan studi budaya. Pedagogi kritis bertujuan membantu peserta didik menjalankan hidup yang bermakna dengan memaksimalkan wawasan dan mengembangkan kepekaan moral dalam menerapkan keadaan sosial di Indonesia dan akan mengembangkan pemikirannya terhadap perubahan sosial yang terbuka, adil, dan bebas. Pedagogi kritis memiliki upaya untuk mengurangi kecenderungan pendidikan otoriter. Pedagogi kritis juga dianggap sangat berdampak pada kemajuan berdemokrasi di negara ini karena dapat mendorong warga negaranya untuk berpikir kritis, berwawasan luas, membuat penilaian, dan bertanggung jawab atas tindakannya. Kata Kunci: Pedagogik kritis, Era digital, Indonesia

Abstract

This research is a development research (R & D) which aims to produce a mathematics teaching material with ethnomathematics-based eliciting activities. The method used in this study is a development research method with five stages as follows: (1) Preliminary Investigation, (2) Design, (3) Realization/Construction, (4) Test -Evaluation and Revision (Test, Evaluation and Revision) and (5) Implementation (Implementation) but in this study, development was only carried out up to the first 4 stages because the implementation stage required a long process and time. The results of the validation of teaching materials and other tools by mathematicians and media experts show an average score of 4.46 which is classified as very good. and students, then a trial was carried out to see the effectiveness of learning through a mathematical literacy ability test where the results showed an average completeness of 80.25% in the good category. The conclusion of this study is that mathematics teaching materials using the eliciting activities model based on ethnomathematics are categorized as good and appropriate for use in teaching mathematics in junior high schools.Keywords: teaching materials, eliciting activities models, ethnomathematics, mathematical literacy skills Abstrak Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R & D) yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan suatu bahan ajar matematika dengan eliciting actvities berbasis etnomatematika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode penelitian pengembangan dengan lima tahapan sebagai berikut: (1) investigasi awal (Preliminary Investigation), (2) Perancangan (Design), (3) Realisasi/Konstruksi (Realization/Construction), (4) Tes-Evaluasi dan Revisi (Test, Evaluation and Revision) dan (5) Implementasi (Implementation) namun Pada penelitian ini, pengembangan hanya dilakukan sampai pada 4 tahapan awal karena pada tahap implementasi memerlukan proses dan waktu yang cukup lama. Hasil validasi bahan ajar beserta perangkat lainnya oleh ahli matematika dan ahli media menunjukkan rata-rata skor 4,46 yang tergolong dalam kategori sangat baik, hasil uji coba kepraktisan bahan ajar dan perangkat lainnya menunjukkan bahwa semuanya dalam kategori praktis hal ini ditunjukkan melalui data aktivitas guru dan siswa, selanjutnya dilakukan uji coba untuk melihat keefektifan pembelajaran melalui tes kemampuan literasi matematika dimana hasil menunjukkan rata-rata ketuntasan 80,25% dengan kategori baik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahan ajar matematika dengan model eliciting activities berbasis etnomatematika dikategorikan baik dan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah menengah pertama.Kata Kunci: Bahan Ajar, Model Eliciting Activities, Etnomatematika, Kemampuan Literasi Matematika

Abstract

Education is a kit for a person to free from the shackles of ignorance, poverty, and underdevelopment. Teachers are professional educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing and evaluating students. Teaching practice is an effort to demonstrate the competence of prospective teachers in planning, carrying out learning and assessing the effectiveness of learning. This study aims to determine the urgency of teaching practice on the teaching abilities of prospective teachers. The research method is using literature study. The results of the study show that teaching practice is one of the most important, because practice means conducting real experiments and during the experiment a practitioner pays attention to the ongoing process until finally knowing something is lacking and then trying to fix it. Teaching practice is carried out as an implementation of improving the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Teaching practice is something urgent that must be carried out by every student teacher candidate, because it trains them so that they have the ability to demonstrate performance in real situations in learning activities in educational institutions in the future.Keywords: The Urgency of Teaching Practice and Teaching SkillsAbstrakPendidikan menjadi wahana agar seseorang terbebas dari belenggu kebodohan, kemiskinan, maupun keterbelakangan. Guru adalah pendidik professional dengan tugas utama mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, mengarahkan, melatih, menilai, dan mengevaluasi peserta didik. Praktik mengajar merupakan suatu upaya yang menunjukkan kompetensi mahasiswa calon guru dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan pembelajaran hingga menilai efektivitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui urgensi praktik mengajar terhadap kemampuan mengajar mahasiswa calon guru. Metode penelitiannya yaitu menggunakan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik mengajar menjadi salah satu yang terpenting, karena praktik berarti melakukan percobaan yang bersifat nyata dan selama percobaan tersebut seorang praktikan memperhatikan proses yang berlangsung hingga akhirnya mengetahui kekurangan suatu hal kemudian berusaha memperbaikinya. Praktik mengajar dilakukan sebagai implementasi perbaikan proses belajar mengajar di kelas. Praktik mengajar merupakan sesuatu yang urgent yang harus dilaksanakan oleh setiap mahasiswa calon guru, karena hal tersebut melatihnya agar memiliki kemampuan memperagakan kinerja dalam situasi nyata dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di lembaga pendidikan kelak.Kata Kunci: Urgensi Praktek Mengajar dan Keterampilan Mengajar

Abstract

Research on the development of Powtoon-based audio-visual learning media aims to determine the feasibility of the product and to see whether there is an increase in students' creative thinking abilities in straight-motion material and to see student responses and teacher responses. This study uses the type of Research and Development with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and tests, and the research subjects consisted of class X MAN 3 North Aceh. The results showed that the audio-visual learning media that had been developed was declared feasible and could improve students' creative thinking skills based on assessments: 1) The media expert obtained a percentage of 80.56% according to the criteria of "Decent" and material experts obtained a percentage of 77.33% with "Decent" criteria; 2) The teacher's response to learning media obtained a percentage of 81.33% with the criteria of "very practical"; 3) The results of student responses were very good with the level of effectiveness of the media through product trials in class XI and X which obtained an average percentage of 81.21% with the criteria "Very effective". 4) The N-gain is 0.74 with high criteria. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the Powtoon-based audio-visual learning media on straight motion material that has been developed is suitable for use in the learning process.Keywords: Audio Visual, Creative Thinking, Learning Media Powtoon  AbstrakPenelitian pengembangan media pembelajaran audio visual berbasis powtoon bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk, dan untuk melihat apakah terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik pada materi gerak lurus serta melihat respon siswa, dan respon guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation).Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa angket dan tes, subjek penelitian terdiri dari kelas X MAN 3 Aceh Utara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran audio visual yang telah dikembangkan dinyatakan layak serta dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik berdasarkan penilaian:1) Tingkat kelayakan media oleh ahli media diperoleh persentase sebesar 80,51% dengan kriteria “Layak” dan ahli materi diperoleh persentase sebesar 77,33% dengan kriteria “Layak”; 2) Respon guru terhadap media pembelajaran diperoleh persentase sebesar 81,33% dengan kriteria “sangat praktis”; 3) Hasil respon peserta didik sangat baik dengan tingkat keefektifan media melalui uji coba produk pada kelas XI dan X yang diperoleh rata-rata persentase sebesar 81,21% dengan kriteria “Sangat efektif”;4) N-gain diperoleh sebesar 0,74 dengan kriteria tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran audio visual berbasis powtoon pada materi gerak lurus yang telah dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.Kata Kunci : Audio Visual, Berpikir Kreatif, Media Pembelajaran Powtoon

Abstract

One of the consequences of limiting face-to-face learning in the pandemic era is the implementation of distance learning. At the elementary school level, the application of distance learning is carried out in various ways, one of which is by applying online learning. This article aims to analyze how important the role of parents in learning for elementary school-aged children is in the pandemic era. This research method uses a literature study approach. Data was collected by browsing research articles through Google Scholar. The article analyzed is a research article that discusses the involvement of parents in distance learning in the pandemic era. The results of the analysis of various kinds of literature show how important the role of parents in supporting the online learning process is. In online learning, the learning process cannot run optimally without collaboration between teachers and parents. Most of the teacher's tasks in online learning have been taken over by parents. Parents function as facilitators, motivators, and become the main guides in the learning process. Another role that is no less important than parents is as a learning supervisor, through this supervision control of the quality of learning can be carried out even though it is constrained by distance from the schoolKeywords: online learning, learning quality, parental involvement AbstrakSalah satu akibat dari terbatasnya pembelajaran tatap muka di era pandemi adalah penerapan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Di tingkat sekolah dasar, penerapan pembelajaran jarak jauh dilakukan dengan berbagai cara, salah satunya dengan menerapkan pembelajaran daring. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis seberapa penting peran orang tua dalam pembelajaran bagi anak usia sekolah dasar di era pandemi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur. Data dikumpulkan dengan menelusuri artikel penelitian melalui Google Scholar. Artikel yang dianalisis merupakan artikel penelitian yang membahas tentang keterlibatan orang tua dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh di era pandemi. Hasil analisis berbagai literatur menunjukkan betapa pentingnya peran orang tua dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran daring. Dalam pembelajaran daring, proses pembelajaran tidak dapat berjalan maksimal tanpa adanya kerjasama antara guru dan orang tua. Sebagian besar tugas guru dalam pembelajaran daring sudah diambil alih oleh orang tua. Orang tua berfungsi sebagai fasilitator, motivator, dan menjadi pemandu utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Peran lain yang tidak kalah penting dari orang tua adalah sebagai pengawas pembelajaran, melalui pengawasan ini dapat dilakukan pengendalian mutu pembelajaran meskipun terkendala jarak dengan sekolah.Kata kunci: pembelajaran online, kualitas pembelajaran, keterlibatan orang tua

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students’ learning process and learning outcomes on their reading skills using PAIKEM approach at Second Grade Students of SDN Wowong. The study is done in 2 (two) cycles, through 4 stages, namely: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research data are obtained through interviews, observations, tests, and documentation. The data are analyzed descriptive qualitatively and quantitatively. The study shows that PAIKEM approach is effective in improving the learning process and outcomes on the students’ reading skills. This can be seen from the students' attitudes during the learning process; students are active, enthusiastic and enjoy the class. Besides, there is an increase on students’ learning outcomes in cycle II; each student with a score above the KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) with an average score of 78.09. It is hoped that this study will provide theoretical benefits, namely adding insight into knowledge about how to apply PAIKEM approach. While practically, this study can contribute ideas and information for schools, teachers and students.Keywords: Skills; Early Reading; PAIKEM Approach. AbstrakPendidikan dasar merupakan fondasi awal bagi anak-anak dalam mempersiapkan diri melanjutkan pendidikan pada tingkat selanjutnya. Salah satunya adalah menyiapkan siswa memiliki kemampuan membaca yang mumpuni. Hasil pengamatan di SDN Wowong, Kecamatan Omesuri, Kabupaten Lembata menunjukkan bahwa banyak siswa di kelas-kelas awal bahkan kelas atas belum mampu membaca dengan baik dan lancar. Siswa masih mengeja kata saat membaca dan terbata-bata. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan proses dan hasil pembelajaran keterampilan membaca permulaan menggunakan pendekatan PAIKEM pada siswa kelas II SDN Wowong. Penelitian telah dilalui dalam 2 (dua) siklus pembelajaran dengan tiap siklus memiliki 4 tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara, pengamatan, tes, dan dokumentasi dengan prosedur analisis data secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan PAIKEM efektif memberikan peningkatan proses dan peningkatan hasil pembelajaran membaca permulaan siswa kelas II SDN Wowong. Hal ini terlihat dari adanya peningkatan sikap siswa saat proses pembelajaran; siswa begitu aktif, antusias dan menyenangkan saat proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus II; masing-masing siswa dengan nilai di atas KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal) dengan rata-rata nilai 78.09.Kata Kunci: Keterampilan; Membaca_Permulaan; Pendekatan_PAIKEM

Abstract

This research was motivated by a lack of motivation in learning mathematics in grade IV A SDN 21 Pulau Punjung. This research was conducted to increase student learning motivation in mathematics by using image media in class IV A SDN 21 Pulau Punjung. The method used is class action research conducted by planning, enforcement, and reflection. The analysis uses a picture of student learning outcomes seen from the absorbency and completeness of student learning described descriptively. The results showed an increase in mathematics learning outcomes through image media, as seen in the average student activity from cycle I reaching 51.01%, and experienced an increase in cycle II, reaching 54.5% to 83%. The increase is also found in students' learning absorption starting from procyclical, reaching 51.36% increased to 80.9% in cycle III.Keywords: learning outcome, math.AbstrakPenellitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya motivasi dalam pembelajaran matematika di kelas IV A SDN 21 Pulau Punjung. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Matematika dengan menggunakan media gambar di kelas IV A SDN 21 Pulau Punjung. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dengan perencanaan, penindakan, dan refleksi. Analisis menggunakan gambaran hasil belajar siswa yang dilihat dari daya serap, ketuntasan pembelajaran siswa yang dijabarkan secara desktiptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil pembelajaran matematika melaui penggunaan media gambar tampak pada rerata aktivitas siswa dari siklus I mencapai 51,01% mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II mencapai 54,5 % meningkat menjadi 83% pada . peningkatan juga terdapat pada daya serap siswa dalam pembelajaran dimulai dari prasiklus mencapai 51,36% meningkat menjadi 80,9% pada siklus III.Kata Kunci: hasil belajar, matematika, media gambar

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the jigsaw-type cooperative model assisted by paired card media on the learning outcomes of class VII students on the interaction of living things with the environment at Payeti Christian Middle School. This type of research is an experiment using a pretest-posttest control group design, sampling using purposive sampling. The population in this study were all students of class VII IPA at Payeti Christian Middle School in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The sample of this research was 30 students of class VII C as the control class and 30 students of class VII B as the experimental class. The results of the descriptive analysis obtained showed that the pretest and posttest scores for the experimental class were 59.50 < 77.00 while the pretest and posttest scores for the control class were 45.50 < 72.97. Further testing the hypothesis using the paired sample t-test produces an Asymp value. Sig (2-tailed) 0.000 means that the value is less than 0.05 (< 0.05). It can be concluded that the jigsaw-type cooperative learning model assisted by paired card media affects learning outcomes.Keywords: Learning Model, Cooperative, Jigsaw, Paired Cards, Learning OutcomesAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan media kartu berpasangan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII materi interaksi makhluk hidup dengan lingkungan di SMP Kristen Payeti. Jenis penelitian ini ialah eksperimen menggunakan desain pretest-posttest control group design, Pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas VII IPA di SMP Kristen Payeti pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu 30 siswa kelas VII C sebagai kelas kontrol dan 30 siswa kelas VII B sebagai kelas eksperimen. Hasil analisis deskriptif yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa nilai pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen 59.50 < 77.00 sedangkan nilai pretest dan posttest kelas kontrol 45.50 < 72.97. Lebih lanjut pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji paired sample t test menghasilkan nilai Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) 0,000 artinya nilai tersebut kurang dari 0,05 (< 0,05). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan media kartu berpasangan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar.Kata Kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Kooperatif, Jigsaw, Kartu Berpasangan, Hasil Belajar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran discovery learning (DL) berbantuan video pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa pada mata kuliah pengantar Pendidikan. setelah disampaikan model discovery learning berbantuan video pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimental) dengan desain the non equivalentcontrol grup design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PGSD semester 1 universitas Triatma Mulya tahun akademik 2022/2023. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling yaitu kelas A sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas B sebagai kelas eksperimen. analisis data Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t yang dianalisis menggunakan spss versi 16. Instrument dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi dan soal pre-test post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Model discovery learning (DL) berbantuan video pembelajaran Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dalam matakuliah pengantar Pendidikan menggunakan model discovery learning (DL) berbantuan video pembelajaran. Hal Ini Terlihat Dari Hasil Uji Independentsample T-test Yang Menunjukkan Nilai Sig. (2-tailed) Kurang Dari 0,05 yaitu 0,000 < 0,05.
