Abstract

Currently, many food products are containing Collagen and L-Glutathione. Based on recent studies, oral collagen supplementation has many advantages as a skin whitening agent, moisturizing agent, skin elasticity enhancer. Collagen supplementation has proven safe for short-term use in adult healthy subjects; however, there is no safety data on other group subjects such as pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and children. Meanwhile, there are so many food products containing collagen and L-Glutathione that claim their products give many advantages without any clinical study. The producer massively advertises their products to sell them without any complete information about side effects and warnings. The purpose of this study is to examine respondent’s purchase intention and awareness of this product's safety. The result shows that the respondent is likely interested in the claim they see in the advertisement. However, it has the potential unsafe use for pregnant women, lactating mothers and children, and long-term use. So this paper recommends BPOM to alter any regulation of food containing collagen especially on labeling and advertising and consider the product to become a food supplement instead.Keyword – Breastfeeding, Collagen, Whitening

Abstract

Bioplastics are environmentally friendly plastics derived from natural materials. Bioplastics are easier to decompose when compared to commercial plastics. Bioplastics are generally made from starch contained in plants. But the use of starch as a base material has the disadvantage of producing bioplastics that are not waterproof. Therefore, it is necessary to add chitosan to improve bioplastic characteristics. Chitosan usually comes from the shell of crustacean animals, but it turns out that in fish scales waste, also contains chitosan. Fish scales are a by-product of the process of fish processing. Fish scales are only discarded and not utilized so that they become waste that can pollute the environment. Fish scales have a chitin content that can process into chitosan, which can be useful as an additional ingredient in the manufacture of bioplastics. This review aims to find out the potential of fish scales waste as chitosan in the manufacture of bioplastics. Based on the results of previous research, fish scales have a chitosan content that can use as an additional ingredient in the manufacture of bioplastics. Fish scale chitosan can form bioplastic film with characteristic brownish-yellow film. The addition of fish scale chitosan is also able to improve the water resistance of bioplastic film. Based on the results of the review can be concluded bring fish scales to have the potential as chitosan that can use in the manufacture of bioplastic. Keywords – Bioplastic, Chitosan, Fish Scales.

Abstract

The busyness and lifestyle of modern society today tends to like instant things, including choosing food products. This is because packaged food products are more practical, easy to carry, widely available, and easy to consume. An analysis is needed regarding the level of knowledge and compliance of the community, especially the academic community of University Al-Azhar Indonesia (UAI) in this regard, so that the community can increase knowledge and compliance in reading packaged food labels when consuming or buying a product. The design of this study used a descriptive correlational design with a purposive sampling technique. Respondents in this study were a sample of UAI's still active academicians consisting of lecturers, educators, and students. The number of respondents in this study were 69.5% women and 30.5% men. In terms of age, most were 18-35 years old (93.90%). Respondents get the most source of food label information through online and print media. The priority of respondents when buying packaged food products is mostly choosing the name of the product (41.46%), then paying attention to the halal logo (37.80%). The priority level and respondents' knowledge when buying a packaged food product were mostly in the good category (75.61%). Respondent compliance level is also in good category (48.78%). Abstract

PT GMF AeroAsia is engaged in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of aircraft. It is known that GMF is the largest domestic MRO company at 30% while 70% is owned by foreign MRO companies. Based on the company's vision to make the company a world-class MRO, it is necessary to develop a business scheme in terms of capability, quantity, and quality. However, the scheduling of technicians in carrying out aircraft maintenance is currently unable to meet the demand every hour due to the uncertain flight schedule of the aircraft every day so that the workload of each technician exceeds the normal workload. The calculation of the workload using the full-time equivalent method showed that the workload of technicians was overloaded so that an additional number of technicians was needed, as well as analyzing the causes and consequences of the excessive workload of technicians using the fishbone diagram method and modeling the formulation of the technician scheduling problem that works in maintenance before departure check Airbus aircraft in the form of integer linear programming with decision variables such as the number of technicians, the number of shifts and the number of working days, then the constraint function is the constraints to be achieved in modeling, and the objective function is to minimize the number of technicians employed. Furthermore, the model is implemented using the LINGO 19.0 software so that it is found that the model can produce an optimal technician schedule in scheduling. Keywords - Fishbone Diagram, Full Time Equivalent, Integer Linear Programming, Lingo Software, Matchematical Modeling, Scheduling, Workload

Abstract

Education in the sense of schooling is now leading to the process of industrialization. The world of education can no longer be considered as a social institution only but must be treated industrially, which is treated or managed professionally. Due to the increasingly fierce world of competition today, if educational institutions are not managed professionally, then the customer will leave educational institutions if they are poorly managed. In various case studies, the Balanced Scorecard has provided many benefits to the development of education management, especially SMA ABC Jakarta does not yet have a performance measurement based on the Balanced Scorecard method. In the Balanced Scorecard method, the measurement is based on four perspectives, namely, financial, customer, internal business processes, and growth and learning perspectives. Therefore, a good performance design needs to be done to realize the vision of this ABC Jakarta High School. So, a performance design was carried out for the Principal of SMA ABC Jakarta using the perspective of the Balanced Scorecard method. Then, the weighting and prioritization of each KPI are carried out using the Analytical Network Process with the help of Super Desicion software. The results of this study are in the form of a Scorecard List, and there are 13 Principal KPIs from each perspective, namely 1 KPI from a Financial perspective, 9 KPIs from an Operational perspective, 2 KPIs from a Customer perspective, and 1 KPI from an HR perspective. Then, for the priority results of this KPI, it is found in the operational perspective, precisely on the KPI for the Implementation of Supervision of the Learning Process by Schools or O9 with a weight of 0.1992 or in the percentage of 20%, this indicates that the Implementation of Supervision of the Learning Process by Schools is the most important thing. compared to other KPIs.Keywords - Analytical network process, Balanced scorecard, Perancangan kinerja, Software super decision.

Abstract

Herbs are plants with moist stems that grow wild along roadsides or on the unmaintained ground. Herbs are more commonly associated with plants that are harmful to civilization, even though they have numerous uses in life, including traditional medicine, ornamental plants, and contextual instructional resources. People are unaware of herbs and plants categorized as herbs, which is one of the reasons why they are considered hazardous plants. A mangrove forest is a type of forest with a tidal environment; plants that may grow in mangrove forests are characteristic vegetation, notably salt-tolerant plants. The goal of this research was to describe the plant variety in the Muara Aluh-Aluh Mangrove Area. The data was gathered in the 500-meter-long Muara Aluh-Aluh Mangrove Area, which was divided into ten locations separated by 50 meters. A plot of 1 m x 1 m with as many as 4 pieces was made at each place using the line transect method and oriented diagonally. The quantity and varieties of herbaceous plants found in the plot were counted as samples. According to the findings of the study on herbaceous plant diversity in the Muara Aluh-Aluh Mangrove area, there are 21 different varieties of herbaceous plants with a diversity index of 2.66, putting them in the medium diversity category. Keywords - Diversity, Herbs, Mangroves, Muara Aluh-Aluh
