Abstract

The paper examines the role and challenges of Nigeria women in the development of the health sector, focusing on Muslim women of Nasarawa state, Nigeria. Women assist in the provision of healthcare; they play roles which complement those of men. Some women are physicians’ that is medical doctors, nurses and top hospital administrators. Women however are mostly concentrated in the low status health-related occupations such as hospital maids, nurses, and other paramedical jobs. The paper begins by conceptualising some basic concepts such as health sector and women for a better understanding. This is followed by the geographical location of the Nasarawa state. This study also assesses the roles of Muslim women in the health sector both in the conventional and in traditional. These include supportive systems to help women realise their professional or career goals. Interview and desk review were adopted as method of data collection for the research, where in-depth interview was conducted with some personalities. It is concluded in the paper that there is the need for sensitization of the Muslim community in the state on importance of Muslim women involvement in the healthcare profession.

Abstract

Islamic religious education must be comprehensively understood to become a guide in social and community life. In the era of advances in technology and information, individual understanding of Islamic religious education is more or less influenced by advances in technology and information. This study aims to determine whether social media influences the understanding of Islamic Religious Education gen Z during the Covid-19 pandemic in As-Syafi'iyah Islamic University students, Bekasi city. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a sampling technique using simple random sampling with a sample of 96 people and data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a Likert scale 4. Furthermore, the data is analyzed by statistical calculations, simple regression analysis, and correlational tests using the SPSS program. 24 for Windows. The results showed that the correlational test (t count = 4,177 > t table = 1,985). Because of the count > t table, H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted. Social media affects understanding gen z Islamic religious education during the COVID-19 pandemic for students at the As Syafi'iyah Islamic University in Bekasi. These results show that social media is one of the important factors in supporting and providing an understanding of Islamic Religious Education for gen z during the covid-19 pandemic. Rendahnya pemahaman Pendidikan islam secara garis besar disebabkan oleh faktor dari dalam diri dan faktor lingkungan. Pemahaman Pendidikan agama islam merupakan modal utama dalam menjalani kehidupan beragama dan bermasyarakat. Pemahaman Pendidikan agama islam yang kuat dan mapan dapat dijadikan pedoman dalam berkehidupan sosial dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh antara media sosial terhadap pemahaman Pendidikan Agama Islam gen Z di masa pandemi Covid-19 pada mahasiswa Universitas Islam As-Syafi'iyah kota Bekasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 96 orang dan Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert 4. Selanjutnya data di analisis dengan perhitungan statistic analisis regresi sederhana dan uji korelasional menggunakan bantuan program SPSS 24 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada uji korelasional (thitung = 4,177 > ttabel =1,985). Karena thitung > ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Artinya media sosial berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman Pendidikan agama islam gen z di masa pandemic covid-19 pada mahasiswa Universitas Islam As Syafi’iyah kota Bekasi. Dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media sosial menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam menunjang dan memberikan pemahaman Pendidikan Agama Islam kaum gen z di masa pandemic covid-19.

Abstract

The introductory part of the theme started with a major jurisprudential ordinance of prohibition (al-Tahrim) of homicide. This indeed, has a direct bearing with the issue of ideological crises. The Islamic panel system is aimed at discouraging and protecting the entire society from criminal activities and crises that may occur and disrupt the peaceful coexistence of the people. In fact, this is why the Islamic panel system is universal system that suits all time and place. Therefore, this study is aimed at examining the potentialities of Principles of Fiqh in the selected themes as well as to determine the challenges of ideological calamities. The method used to gather the information was qualitative research method that involved desk research. The paper explored the potentialities of Fiqh Principles on the basis of the current Persisting Ideological Crises (P.I.C) that resulted to anarchy in Nigeria. This offered a great insight to the topical issues therein. It was also revealed that the themes were developed based on the principle of Sadd al-Dhari’a. The paper adopted desk review and secondary data for the research. Bagian pendahuluan dari tema dimulai dengan ordonansi yurisprudensi utama tentang larangan (al-Tahrim) pembunuhan. Hal ini memang berkaitan langsung dengan persoalan krisis ideologi. Sistem panel Islam bertujuan untuk mencegah dan melindungi seluruh masyarakat dari kegiatan kriminal dan krisis yang mungkin terjadi dan mengganggu koeksistensi damai umat. Padahal, inilah mengapa sistem panel Islam merupakan sistem universal yang sesuai dengan segala waktu dan tempat. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi Prinsip-prinsip Fiqh dalam tema-tema terpilih serta untuk menentukan tantangan bencana ideologis. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan informasi adalah metode penelitian kualitatif yang melibatkan desk research. Makalah ini mengeksplorasi potensi Prinsip Fiqh berdasarkan Krisis Ideologi Persisting (P.I.C) saat ini yang mengakibatkan anarki di Nigeria. Ini menawarkan wawasan yang bagus untuk isu-isu topikal di dalamnya. Diungkapkan pula bahwa tema-tema tersebut dikembangkan berdasarkan prinsip Sadd al-Dhari’a. Makalah ini mengadopsi tinjauan meja dan data sekunder untuk penelitian.

Abstract

Waqf is one of the teachings of Islam that has socio-economic value for the welfare of society. Along with the times, waqf is not only in the form of goods, but can also be in the form of money and productive waqf. In fact, this understanding of the development of waqf is not widely known by the public, including in the Yogyakarta area. Waqf has a big role in providing the benefits of waqf property in Indonesia. Good institutional administration and strategies in the utilization of waqf funds are very important aspects to pay attention to, in order to achieve the goals of the waqf itself. Each waqf institution has its own strategy to realize its vision and mission, as well as BWA Yogyakarta which has an innovative strategy in order to realize its programs. What is the strategy for utilizing waqf funds at BWA Yogyakarta? What is the strategy for utilizing waqf funds at BWA Yogyakarta in a normative and juridical review? The type of research carried out by the authors is field research, the nature of this research is prescriptive research, the approach used by the authors is a normative empirical approach with mas}lah}ah mursalah theory, the data source consists of primary data and secondary data, data collection techniques in the research consists of methods of observation, interviews, and documentation, and the frame of mind that the compiler uses in data analysis is the inductive method. The result of this research is that BWA Yogyakarta has three strategies, namely Expansion Strategy (Traffic), Prospect Funding Strategy, and Customer and Partner Strategy. The application of the three strategies of BWA Yogyakarta normatively is in accordance with the concept of mas}lah}ah mursalah, and juridically, the three strategies follow most of the regulations stipulated by law, namely Article 4, Article 5, Article 11, Article 21, Article 22, Article 28, Article 42, Article 43 of Law Number 41 of 2004 concerning Waqf, Government Regulation Number 42 of 2006 concerning Implementation of Law Number 41 of 2004, Article 22 paragraph 1 and the Fatwa Commission of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) on 11 May 2002. However, the three strategies did not fully implement Article 21 of Law Number 41 of 2004 concerning waqf and Government Regulation Number 42 of 2006 article 26.

Abstract

This study aims to see the relationship between the implementation of learning composition that integrates HOTS with the achievement of students through Islamic education subjects in primary schools. This study examines the profile of the aspect of student learning composition and the relationship with the current student achievement. The instrument used is the adaptation of the HOTS questionnaire which has adapted the modified Anderson instrument from Bloom's taxonomy, 'Learning and Study Strategies High Order Thinking, Islamic Education teaching practice assessment instrument by (Mohd Aderi, 2010) And teaching monitoring instructional materials (JNJK, 2011) to measure the implementation of student learning composition with the reliability value of Cronbach Alpha (α) 0.902. Samples involved were year five students who were taken randomly stratified and grouped from national schools around the state of Perak. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson correlation. The results showed that the level of correlation between the composition of learning and the achievement of the students was moderate high for six constructs ie planning (min = 3.43, SP = 0.54, r = 0.457), objective setting (min = 3.31, SP = 0.49, r = 0.455) The use of educational resources (mean = 3.35, SP = 0.48, r = 0.673), implementation of questionnaire (min = 3.32, SP = 0.57, r = 0.535) (Min = 3.07, SP = 0.59, r = 0.4781), while performing reflection (mean = 3.15, SP = 0.55, r = 0.0931) summarize the teaching content (mean = 3.34, SP = 0.60, r = 0.183) = Low relationship. The findings also showed that the composition of learning in terms of overall and student achievement was moderate (r = 0.031, p = 0.579, r = 0.0852). Therefore, the implementation of learning composition is related to student achievement, but there are other factors contributing to student achievement in Islamic education subjects. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan penerapan komposisi pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan HOTS dengan prestasi belajar siswa melalui mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini mengkaji profil aspek komposisi belajar siswa dan hubungannya dengan prestasi belajar siswa saat ini. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah adaptasi angket HOTS yang telah mengadaptasi instrumen Anderson yang dimodifikasi dari taksonomi Bloom, 'Strategi Pembelajaran dan Pembelajaran High Order Thinking, instrumen penilaian praktik pengajaran Pendidikan Islam oleh (Mohd Aderi, 2010) dan bahan ajar pemantauan pembelajaran (JNJK, 2011) untuk mengukur keterlaksanaan komposisi belajar siswa dengan nilai reliabilitas Alpha Cronbach (α) 0,902. Sampel yang terlibat adalah siswa kelas lima yang diambil secara acak bertingkat dan dikelompokkan dari sekolah nasional di sekitar negara bagian Perak. Data dianalisis menggunakan frekuensi, persentase, mean, standar deviasi, dan korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat korelasi komposisi pembelajaran dengan prestasi belajar siswa tergolong sedang tinggi untuk enam konstruk yaitu perencanaan (min = 3,43, SP = 0,54, r = 0,457), penetapan tujuan (min = 3,31, SP = 0.49, r = 0.455) Penggunaan sumber daya pendidikan (mean = 3.35, SP = 0.48, r = 0.673), pelaksanaan angket (min = 3.32, SP = 0.57, r = 0.535) (Min = 3.07, SP = 0.59, r = 0,4781), saat melakukan refleksi (mean = 3,15, SP = 0,55, r = 0,0931) meringkas isi pengajaran (mean = 3,34, SP = 0,60, r = 0,183) = hubungan rendah. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa komposisi pembelajaran ditinjau dari keseluruhan dan prestasi belajar siswa tergolong sedang (r = 0,031, p = 0,579, r = 0,0852). Oleh karena itu pelaksanaan komposisi pembelajaran berkaitan dengan prestasi belajar siswa, namun ada faktor lain yang turut mempengaruhi prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam.

Abstract

This paper explains the principles of fiqhiyyah which are fundamentally a source of determining fiqh law based on the Qur'an and Sunnah, as well as because the nature of a rule is general so that it can be used also in solving problems that exist in the world of Islamic education, and also gave birth to the concept of Education by using 5 basic principles that are sourced from the Qur'an and Sunnah in the rules of fiqhiyyah. The method of writing this paper uses qualitative, descriptive, explanatory and comparative methods with a study approach to classical and modern Islamic literates, then compares them with the reality of the context of Islamic education and the problems that exist in the lives of Muslims today to give birth to the concept of Islamic education. Paper ini menjelaskan tentang kaidah fiqhiyyah yang secara mendasar sebagai sumber penetapan hukum fiqih yang berlandaskan al qur’an dan sunnah, begitu pula karena sifat dari sebuah kaidah adalah general sehingga bisa digunakan juga didalam memecahkan permasalahan-permasalahan yang ada didalam dunia pendidikan islam, dan juga melahirkan konsep Pendidikan dengan mengunakan 5 pokok kaidah dasar yang bersumber dari al-Qur’an dan Sunnah didalam kaidah fiqhiyyah. Metode penulisan paper ini menggunakan metode kualikatif, Deskriptif, eksplanatif dan Komparatif dengan pendekatan studi terhadap literatus-literatus Islam Klasik dan modern, kemudian menkomparasikannya dengan realitas konteks pendidikan islam dan permasalahan yang ada didalam kehidupan umat Islam saat ini untuk melahirkan konsep Pendidikan islam

Abstract

The role of educators in Islamic religious education (PAI) is very important for the formation of the character of students in madrasas. Therefore, an educator must be able to set a good example. Educators are role models for their students. Strengthening character in the context of education is an important factor in the ongoing part of the education system. This relates to the direct interaction of educators with their students, where students will see, hear and feel directly what is taught by educators, following the philosophy of the educators themselves, which is defined as someone who is "guided and imitated." This research uses a qualitative-descriptive method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by conducting in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. This research shows that role educators are role models in realizing the character and mental education. The role of character and mental education in the education system must be the foundation of other education because science and adab are continuous; if science is not accompanied by adab, then that knowledge will have no benefits and will not be blessed it could be that knowledge. It will be used for something false and evil. Peran Tenaga pendidik di lingkungan Pendidikan Agama slam (PAI) sangatlah penting bagi Pembentukan karakter peserta didik di madrasah. Oleh karena tu seorang tenaga pendidik haruslah dapat memberikan teladan baik. Tenaga pendidik menjadi suri teladan (Role model) bagi peserta didiknya. Penguatan karakter dalam konteks pendidikan merupakan faktor penting dari bagian sistem pendidikan yang sedang berlangsung. Hal ni berkenaan dengan nteraksi tenaga pendidik secara langsung terhadap peserta didiknya, dimana peserta didik akan melihat, mendengar serta merasakan secara langsung apa saja yang diajarkan oleh tenaga pendidik, sesuai dengan filsafat dari tenaga pendidik tu sendiri yang diartikan sebagai seorang yang “ digugu dan ditiru”. Penelitian ni menggunakan metode kualitatif – dekskriptif, dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ni menghasilkan bawah peran tenaga pendidik memposisikan dirinya sebagai seorang yang menjadi panutan dan suri teladan dalam mewujudkan pendidikan karakter serta mental. Peranan pendidikan karakter dan mental dalam sistem pendidikan haruslah menjadi pondasi dari pendidikan yang lain karena sejatinya lmu serta adab menjadi sesuatu yang berkisanambungan, jika sebuah lmu tanpa di sertai dengan adab, maka lmu tersebut tidak akan memiliki manfaat serta tidak barokah, dan bisa jadi lmu tersebut akan digunakan untuk sesuatu hal yang bathil dan munkar.

Abstract

Al-Afghani, as a reformer, views the importance of ijtihad; he also considers it essential to develop Salafiyah thought, a school that requires the teachings of Islam to remain pure as practiced by the early generations of Islam. Purely, Al-Afghani lived in Egypt for eight years. According to the Egyptian community, Al-Afghani simultaneously had no small influence on Muslims. According to the Egyptian intellectual M.S. Madkur Al-Afghanilah, who raised the intellectual movement in Egypt, this country achieved progress. Al-Afghani's Islamic thought is not just a discourse that becomes Islamic knowledge but becomes a movement. The progressive ones even became the inspiration for the Islamic revolutionary movements that emerged in the 20th century; this research is a literature study that concludes that Al-Afghani influenced the direction of the Islamic world figures such as Hassan Al Banna and his Muslim Brotherhood, Abul A'la al-Maududi. With the Jamaah Islam and arrival in Indonesia, Muhammad Natsir appeared with his Masyumi. Al-Afghani sebagai pembaharu memandang penting ijtihad, ia juga menganggap penting mengembangkan pemikiran Salafiyah, yaitu suatu aliran yang menghendaki ajaran Islam tetap murni sebagaimana yang diamalkan oleh generasi awal Islam, Al Afghani meyakini umat Islam akan bangkit dan akan mendapatkan kejayaan kembali setelah mengamalkan ajaran Islam secara murni,. Al-Afghani menetap di Mesir selama delapan tahun, menurut fihak masyarakat Mesir Al-Afghani mempunyai pengaruh yang tidak kecil bagi umat Islam di sama. Menuruat inteletual Mesir M.S. Madkur Al-Afghanilah yang membangkitkan gerakan intelektual di Mesir, sehingga negara ini mencapai kemajuan. Pemikiran Islam Al afghani bukan hanya sekedar wacana yang menjadi ilmu pengetahuan Islam, akan tetapi menjadi sebuah gerakan. Yang progresif bahkan menjdi inspirasi bagi gerakan-gerakan revolusi Islam yang muncul diabad 20, penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan yang menyimpulkan bahwa Al Afghani mempunyai pengaruh terhadap pergerakan dunia Islam tokoh-tokoh seperti Hassan Al Banna dengan ikhwanul musliminnya, Abul A’la al-Mududi dengan Jamaah Islamnya, dan sampai di Indonesia, muncul Muhammad Natsir dengan masyuminya.

Muslim thinkers differ on whether or not Islamic teachings exist regarding the state or matters relating to Islamic politics. Two terms are closely related to this, namely Khilafah and imamate. Although taken from the same source, namely the Qur'an, thinkers reacted differently to the political praxis that developed in the Islamic world. Like the thoughts echoed by Ali Abdul Razik. This article applies a qualitative method. Furthermore, as a source of data based on library research, the works of Ali Abdul Razik are used as a reference. Moreover, the work of other Muslim thinkers is used as a comparison to developing this article. The basis for the difference in the thinking of 'Ali 'Abd al-Raziq with other 'ulama' lies in the unified understanding of whether or not the apostolic function of the Prophet Muhammad SAW was in terms of handling human relations vertically with Allah SWT and human relations horizontally with humans and with nature and its contents. His thought that the function of the Prophet Muhammad SAW was only as a religious leader supports the function of Islam as the religion of Rahmatan Lil Alamin, which must be spread worldwide. If the Prophet Muhammad SAW, apart from being a religious leader, was also the leader of the State of Medina, then the religion he brought was only for the State of Medina, and maybe the city of Makkah was added after the migration. It turns out that during and after his death until now, Islam has been preached by Muslims all over the world. The understanding of 'Ali 'Abd al-Raziq is considered to make a dichotomy between religious affairs and state affairs; in fact, this thought liberates the obligations of future Islamic leaders who cannot carry out both religious and state leaders. If the dual function of leadership becomes mandatory, then most leaders will violate the obligation because they cannot carry out their leadership. Meanwhile, the argument for obliging leadership to have dual functions simultaneously is not found either directly or figuratively. If religion and state affairs are separated, then religious affairs can be run without state affairs, and state affairs without religious affairs can also work. Conversely, suppose religious and state affairs must be united. In that case, religious affairs cannot be carried out without state affairs, and state affairs cannot be carried out without religious affairs. It means that Islam is obligatory in Islamic countries, and Islamic countries are obligatory on the Islamic religion. Many countries are running and developing without taking care of the Islamic religion, and Islam is developing in countries that do not take care of religion. Para pemikir muslim berbeda pendapat mengenai ada atau tidaknya ajaran Islam tentang negara atau hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan politik Islam. Ada dua istilah yang berkaitan erat dengan hal ini, yaitu khilafah dan imamah. Meskipun diambil dari sumber yang sama, yaitu Al-Qur’an, tapi dalam praksis politik yang berkembang di dalam dunia Islam tetapi para pemikir minyikapinya secara berbeda. Seperti pemikiran yang digaungkan oleh Ali Abdul Razik. Artikel ini menerapkan metode kualitatif. Dan sebagai sumber data yang berbasis kepada riset kepustakaan karya-karya Ali Abdul Razik dijadikan acuan. Dan karya pemikir muslim lainnya dijadikan pembanding untuk mengembangkan artikel ini. Dasar perbedaan pemikiran ‘Ali ‘Abd al-Raziq dengan ‘ulama’ lain terletak pada pemahaman bersatu atau tidaknya fungsi kerasulan Nabi Muhammad SAW dalam hal menangani hubungan manusia secara vertikal dengan Allah SWT dan hubungan manusia secara horizontal dengan manusia serta dengan alam dan isinya. Pemikiran beliau bahwa fungsi Nabi Muhammad SAW hanya sebagai pemimpin keagamaan mendukung fungsi Islam sebagai agama Rahmatan Lil Alamin yang wajib disebarkan ke seluruh penjuru dunia. Jika Nabi Muhammad SAW selain sebagai pemimpin agama juga sebagai pemimpin Negara Madinah, maka agama yang dibawanya hanya untuk Negara Madinah, dan mungkin ditambah kota Makkah setelah hijrah. Ternyata semasa dan setelah wafatnya beliau sampai sekarang agama Islam didakwahkan oleh umat Islam ke seluruh dunia. Pemahaman ‘Ali ‘Abd al-Raziq dianggap mendikotomikan urusan agama dan urusan negara, sebenarnya, pemikiran itu membebaskan kewajiban pemimpin Islam di kemudian hari yang tidak mampu mengemban sebagai pemimpin agama sekaligus sebagai pemimpin negara. Jika dwi fungsi kepemimpinan menjadi wajib, maka mayoritas pemimpin akan melanggar kewajiban karena tidak mampu menjalankan kepemimpinannya. Sedangkan dalil untuk mewajibkan kepemimpinan dwi fungsi itu sekaligus tidak ditemukan baik secara langsung maupun secara kias. Bahwa jika urusan agama dan negara dipisahkan, maka urusan agama dapat dijalankan tanpa urusan negara dan urusan negara tanpa urusan agama juga dapat berjalan. Sebaliknya, jika urusan agama dan negara wajib disatukan, maka urusan agama tidak dapat dijalankan tanpa urusan negara, dan urusan negara tidak dapat dijalankan tanpa urusan agama. Artinya agama Islam wajib di negara Islam, dan negara Islam wajib pada agama Islam. Ternyata, banyak Negara yang berjalan dan berkembang tanpa mengurus agama Islam, dan agama Islam berkembang di negara yang tidak mengurus agama.
