Abstract

AbstractCommunication has an aesthetic value that is applied in communication practices such as news writing, romance, novels, radio broadcasting, television, graphic arts, rhetoric, acting, screenplay writing, book writing and so on. Thus, it is clear that there is a common thread that links communication with graphic design practice. Graphic design is used as a communication tool as applied to static media, such as books, magazines, and brochures, catalog flyers, newspaper pamphlets, and so forth. In addition, in line with the times, graphic design is also applied in electronic media, often referred to as interactive design or multimedia design. Palembang Pos Daily newspaper is a newspaper that appears in the middle of the competition of information media business, on the one hand benefiting consumers, because they can get many sources of information. But when viewed from the other side is also very threatening media industries that have already appeared. This problem requires the managers of the media industry, innovate, modify its products by designing an attractive design to be able to make consumers interested. It can be concluded that, how the design elements are very instrumental in advertising media.Keywords :  Communication, Design, Graphics, Roles, Advertising. AbstrakKomunikasi memiliki nilai estetika yang diterapkan dalam praktik-praktik komunikasi seperti penulisan berita, roman, novel, penyiaran untuk radio, televisi, seni grafika, retorika, akting, penulisan skenario, penulisan buku dan sebagainya. Maka, jelaslah terdapat benang merah yang menghubungkan komunikasi dengan praktik desain grafis. Desain grafis digunakan sebagai alat komunikasi seperti diterapkan untuk media-media statis, seperti buku, majalah, dan brosur, catalog flyer, pamplet Koran, dan lain sebagainya. Sebagai tambahan, sejalan dengan perkembangan zaman, desain grafis juga diterapkan dalam media elektronik, yang sering kali disebut sebagai desain interaktif atau desain multimedia. Harian Umum Palembang Pos merupakan surat kabar yang muncul di tengah persaingan bisnis media informasi, di satu sisi menguntungkan konsumen, karena mereka bisa mendapatkan banyak sumber informasi. Namun apabila dilihat dari sisi lain juga Sangat mengancam industri-industri media yang sudah lebih dulu muncul. Permasalahan ini mengharuskan para pengelola industri media, berinovasi, memodifikasi produknya dengan cara merancang desain yang menarik untuk bisa membuat konsumen tertarik. Hal ini bisa disimpulkan bahwa, bagaimana unsur desain sangat berperan sekali pada media periklanan.Kata kunci : Komunikasi, Desain, Grafis, peran, Iklan

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe number of companies engaged in the field of chicken farming causes intense competition in the egg sales sector. Homogeneous egg products make selection based on low prices a priority for consumers. To attract attention and gain consumer confidence, it needs a branding process in the form of identity design that functions as a differentiator with competitors. In this design the data analysis method used is SWOT. According to Kotler & Armstrong (2008: 64), SWOT is divided into 4 namely: S (Strengths), W (Weakness), O (Opportunities), and T (Threats). The concept that will be applied to the design of this logo is taken from the awakening of the meaning of the vision and mission of Diteg Farm itself, which is developing business towards a better direction. The modern concept accompanied by the desire to expand the market is the top priority of the Diteg Farm farm. Not only that, eggs from the Diteg Farm farm are quality and hygienic egg choices. This design aims to determine whether the process of designing corporate identity with a modern impression can attract the attention of consumers. With the hope that an impression of a good brand image can attract the attention of consumers to make a purchase. Thus, consumers can feel the satisfaction of the products produced by Diteg Farm farms which will ultimately form consumer confidence that eggs from Diteg Farm farms are quality and hygienic eggs.Keyword : Diteg Farm Poultry, branding, visual identity, promotion mediaABSTRAKBanyaknya perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang peternakan ayam menyebabkan persaingan yang ketat pada sektor penjualan telur. Produk telur yang homogen menyebabkan pemilihan berdasarkan harga murah menjadi prioritas para konsumen. Untuk menarik perhatian dan mendapatkan kepercayaan konsumen dibutuhkan sebuah proses branding berupa perancangan identitas yang berfungsi sebagai pembeda dengan kompetitor. Dalam perancangan ini metode analisa data yang digunakan adalah SWOT. Konsep yang akan diaplikasikan terhadap perancangan logo ini diambil dari pembangkitan makna visi dan misi Diteg Farm sendiri, yaitu mengembangkan usaha menuju ke arah yang lebih baik. Konsep moderen yang didampingi oleh keinginan untuk memperluas pasar menjadi prioritas utama dari peternakan Diteg Farm. Tidak hanya itu, telur dari peternakan Diteg Farm ini merupakan telur pilihan yang berkualitas dan higienis. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah proses perancangan identitas perusahaan dengan kesan moderen dapat menarik perhatian dari konsumen. Dengan harapan adanya kesan dari citra merek yang baik dapat menarik perhatian konsumen untuk melakukan pembelian. Sehingga, para konsumen dapat merasakan kepuasan dari produk yang dihasilkan oleh peternakan Diteg Farm yang pada akhirnya akan membentuk kepercayaan konsumen bahwa telur dari peternakan Diteg Farm adalah telur yang berkualitas dan higienis.Kata kunci : Peternakan Diteg Farm, branding, identitas visual, media promosi

Abstract

The design of visual communication media is basically one of the efforts that can be done to preserve the folklore in the city of palembang. Bagus Kuning folklore is one of the folklore in South Sumatra. Ratu Bagus Kuning is a title, the original name of Putri Mulia Syarifah Mahani. Still descendants of Syaidi Syech Zain Al-Abid Yemen (Syech Zainal Abidin Madina RA Son Syaidina Husain RA Son Syaidina Ali Karamullah Wajha with first wife Siti Fatimah Az-Zahro Binti Muhammad SAW). Although she is a woman, her leadership can be an example and to be liked by everyone. He is the local ruler who is domiciled on the coast of the river Musi named Ratu Bagus Kuning. That said, he is one of the disciples of nine guardians on the island of Java known as Walisongo. His presence in Palembang was to spread Islam. The interest of the writer raised this theme seen from the moral message possessed by Bagus Kuning. Visual Communication Media Design aims to introduce the folklore in the city of Palembang his special folklore Good Yellow to children in the city of Palembang for this folktale is more widely known by the public as well as a destination for educational, religious, historical and cultural .It is in need of effective and efficient promotion media. The design of this visual communication media is book designed in such a way based on media problem. Abstract

Humans are creatures of culture all upload their work to give effect to the environment around it. The realization of these activities give shape and structure in accordance with the new physical and spiritual needs. Man in her life has always had a passion for beauty. The beauty desire tertuangkan one of them in the form of ornaments. this can be seen from the activity Kerinci ancestors who already know how to decorate a decorative ornament in the form contained in laheik house in the village of SelemanKab. Kerinci-Jambi. Humans in general are always exploit and use ornaments as will efforts to realize the beauty of its objects. Human activities in the use of ornaments can be seen from the objects left behind as nekara, vessel, traditional house, Rumaharrayand so forth. All of it is a form of visual created by the use of motifs as the added value of the beauty of the object. The process of creation can not be separated from the influence of the surrounding natural environment that has changed the shape of the original.Study ornament array house in which there are two fundamental elements that shape and structure. Abstract

Be segmented in a particular mainstream. Let us not limit and discuss the technique or media, which is important in the content. Modern graphic art is conventionally defined as a two-dimensional work that utilizes printing processes such as high print (relief print), in-print (intaglio), flat print (planography), and screen printing (serigrafi, screen printing) that are part of the construction of the art area pure. But as far as the development of print technology is concerned, this conventional conception needs to be questioned again whether the agreed convention values should be run in place and undeveloped, while the development of the times with all dimensions continues to move forward. Conventional graphic art can not be closed from the changing times. Contemporaryization is an option. Because, in fact this country does not have the roots of graphic art tradition. Graphic art can be roughly classified as one of pure art, based on the purpose and function that is carried, that is to satisfy or express themselves. As for if the goal has been shifted from the initial goal to fulfill kepuaasan or express themselves, then the question arises whether the graphic art can be classified into pure art or applied art. this needs further study. Keywords:  Fine art, Graphic arts, Its development.

Abstract

Children are a new generation successor to the ideals of family, religion, race and country. Kids are human resources. Instill good morals to children is essential for the creation of the next generation a good one way to get the kids to pray to the creator God subhanahuwata'ala, as the prayer itself is God's command. For those reasons, the prayer book is designed for children as a medium of learning about prayer, knowledge of Islam, stories and games, so that children can learn to pray with fun.

Abstract

AbstractDesigning theatrical work of female migration scripts, inspired by the phenomenon of social change in the Minangkabau community, which tells the story of minangkabau women who go abroad. Social change has and will continue to occur, it may occur as a development from whitin society itself. So every Minangkabau person must know the kinship arrangement with each other other, in order to understand his own place and position.           Exploring the value of tradition and preserving the noble values of the nation are the main ideas that will be poured in this work, namely modern theater that cannot be separated from the text elements of a literary work in a complete composition, dialogs, moods, spectacles, backgrounds, themes and figures that bintolakan randai. Randai pattern is meant here, the motion, dialogue, gurindam, character and story. In the creation of theater art, writers and directors do randai pattern as traditional theater Minangkabau mate with the nature of modern theater, in which the players in the women’s migration script must be clever, shrewd, silat, ekting and dialogue.Keywords : Theater Migration of Women is a Modern TheaterAbstrakPerancangan karya seni teater naskah lakon Migrasi Perempuan, terinspirasi dari fenomena perubahan sosial masyarakat Minangkabau, yang bercerita tentang perempuan Minangkabau yang pergi merantau. Maka setiap orang Minangkabau wajib mengetahui susunan kekerabatan satu dengan yang lainnya, supaya dapat memahami tempat dan kedudukannya sendiri. Menggali nilai tradisi dan melestarikan nilai-nilai luhur bangsa adalah gagasan utama yang akan dituangkan dalam kekaryaan ini, yaitu teater modern yang tidak terlepas dari unsur-unsur teks suatu karya sastra dalam susunan yang utuh; (dialog, mood, spektakel, latar, tema dan tokoh) yang berpolakan randai. Pola-pola randai yang dimaksud disini adalah, adanya gerak, dialog, gurindam, penokohan dan cerita. Dalam penciptaan karya seni teater, penulis sekaligsus sutradara melakukan pola-pola randai sebagai teater tradisional Minangkabau mengawinkan dengan hakekat teater modern, yang mana para pemain dalam naskah lakon Migrasi Perempuan harus pandai berdendang, bergore, gerak silat, akting dan dialog.Kata kunci : Teater “Perempuan Minang Merantau”, randai, teater, modern

Abstract

AbstractResearch title is"Building of Character Children Through Theater". This research use qualitative methode with descriptive analysis. The theater performance ?Run to the Moon? and the ?Children's Tale? is the result of observation and the director's anger toward the children in Kampung Purus (which is usually called Kampung Puruih). Children are busy with social media so there is a lack of interaction between people. The theater performance Run to the Moon and the Children's Tale is a reality that is packed into a stage event and directly involving the children as the performer. The theater performance Run to the Moon Children?s Tale can be use to build children's character, because the message of tale invite children to interact with others, diligent study and good behavior and polite. This study aims to explore the character building of children with theater performance Run to the Moon and Children's Tale using the method of Sociology of Art and Psychotherapy.Keywords : Character, Theater, and ChildAbstrakPenelitian berjudul ?Membangun Karakter Anak Melalui Teater? ini merupakan penelitian yang bersifat kualitatif berbentuk diskriptif analisis.Pertunjukan teater Lari ke Bulan dan Dongeng Anak merupakan hasil observasi dan keresahan sutradara terhadap anak-anak di Kampung Purus (yang biasanya disebut Kampung Puruih). Anak-anak sibuk dengan media sosial sehingga kurangnya interaksi antarsesama.Pertunjukan teater Larike Bulan dan Dongeng Anak adalah sebuah kenyataan yang dikemas menjadi sebuah peristiwa panggung dengan melibatkan langsung anak-anak sebagai pelakunya. Pertunjukan teater Lari ke Bulan dan Dongeng Anak dapat dijadikan sebagai media membangun karakter anak-anak, karena pesan yang disampaikan mengajak anak-anak untuk berinteraksi dengan sesama, rajin belajar serta bertingkah laku yang baik dan sopan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengupas membangun karakter anak dengan pertunjukan teater Lari ke Bulan dan Dongeng Anak menggunakan metode Sosiologi Seni dan Psikoterapi.Kata kunci : Karakter, Teater, dan Anak

Abstract

This study focuses at the old town of Cirebon. This study assessed through three disciplines, namely visual communication design, architecture and product design. The layout of the old town of Cirebon is located in Yos Sudarso. This study through the stages of observation, literature review and interviews. This study is also a qualitative one. Special study of the visual communication design, using Semiotics. Not easy to draw conclusions from three authors (researchers) let alone different background knowledge. Hopefully, through this research, local authorities may consider the Cirebon city and realize the conclusions and solutions that have been done by the author. Key words: revitalitaion, semiotics, city, branding
