Abstract

Indonesia is in the three  tectonik yaitu Indo-Australia, Eurasia dan Pacific may be  Indonesia have disaster of earthquake. Aceh Barat is in the a town in Indonesia include in to region 5. However, a bulding must have resistance for earthquake. In this research investigate influence warp connection depend on deformation and bending moment caused by earthquake.  Investigation of spectrum response do to variation model of wrap connection in distance 15 cm for Model A, the  structure without wrap connection for Model B,the structure with wrap connection in distance 30 cm for Model C, the structure without wrap connection in distance 30 mm for Model D and the structure without wrap connection exactly for Model E. The analysis by SAP 2000 Software to find out the bending moment and deformation. The result moment and deformation  consequtively are Model A is 49,37 KNm and 12,623 mm, Model B is 59,88 KNm and 15,395 mm, Model C is 50,33 KNm and 12,814 mm, and Model D is 59,88 KNm  and 15,395 mm, Model E is 43,84 KNm and 12,268 mm. Using wrap connection have moment and deformation smaller than the model without wrap connection that the large distance. Abstract

This article discusses lightweight concrete that uses pumice as a substitute for a portion of normal coarse aggregate. The pumice used comes from the Rum quarry of North Maluku Tidore Island. Discussion of research results based on the results of testing in the laboratory. The test aims to find out the optimum composition of the use of pumice as a lightweight concrete aggregate. Tests are carried out on cylindrical specimens 15 x 30 cm with pumice composition compared to normal coarse aggregate of 0:100, 25:75, 50:50, 75:25, and 100: 0. The compressive strength test results obtained the optimum composition of pumice substitution at 25% with a compressive strength of 14,72 MPa with the optimum composition. Density of concrete with pumice aggregate which is included in lightweight concrete at a composition of 75% by weight of pumice against normal aggregate with a concrete weight of 1828,73 kg / m3 lighter 14,40% compared to normal concrete.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe Punge Blang Cut intersection in the city of Banda Aceh is a four-armed unsignalised intersection. The location of this intersection is on Jl. Sultan Iskandar Muda, where this road connects the city center to the west side of the city to the Ulee Lheue port. The west to east road direction is a major road and the north to south direction is a minor road. On the west arm there is two lane at each direction with a median, and at the east side there is two lane and two direction with a bridge by length of 20m and whithout median. On the north and south arms side there is a slight incline. Especially at the south side arm is not perpendicular to major line road. At this recent time it is estimated that traffic performance should be at a low level and of course it will be even lower in the future. For this reason, it is necessary to evaluate the traffic performance of the intersection for handling purposes in the future. At the beginning of conducting this research, data needed were: volume and compotition of traffic, intersection geometric, environmental conditions and secondary data as support. Data processing was carried out based on the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) 1997 and Vissim methods.

Abstract

FEMA 310 guides in evaluating the performance of existing building structures where the Indonesian code has not provided standard rules for it. FEMA 310 is used to evaluate an existing seven-story building in Barek, Yogyakarta which has limited ductility. FEMA 310 consists of 3 stages, namely Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3. This study is devoted to comparing the evaluation of Tier 2 results (linear static procedures) with Tier 3 results (nonlinear static procedures). The results have shown that the Tier 2 evaluation is well correlated with Tier 3 for the case of a seven-story building with limited ductility. This confirms that Tier 2 evaluations are capable to provide performance evaluations for low-rise to medium-rise buildings with limited ductility capacity.

Abstract

 Construction projects escalation bring potential construction accident rates. The study aims to identify cause of construction accident factors, impacts and solutions to reduce accidents in construction project. A Literature Review method was used in this study. Based on the Literature Review, 11 main factors were identified in contributing construction accidents, such as: unsafe actions, unsafe behavior; fatigue, lack of concentration, stress; unsafe conditions, unsafe / dangerous environments; poor PPE quality, poor tools quality; pressure due to tardiness; due to third parties, hot weather, seasons; project complexity & OSH knowledge and training; supervision & inspection; management commitment; leadership; clarity of duties and responsibilities. Solutions to reduce the rate of work accidents by implementing of Safety Management System, such as: Increased Stakeholders roles; Leadership & Organizational Improvement; Increased Information, Communication & Technology; Increased Safety Training; Commitment to allocating SMS costs. Identified caused factors, impacts and solutions can be further analyzed by academics to produce detailed study, and also help in determine strategies for planning construction safety management effectively

Abstract

This laboratory experiment intended to develop lightweight embankment material in using fly ash as a stabilized agent on soft soil and the addition of expanded polystyrenes (EPS). The fly ash derived from combustion of palm shells and tea in drinks manufacture process. In order to analyze the performance of this material, compressive strength test were applied to several composition and treatment on each sample. The samples were prepared with composition of binding agent between 3%, 5%, 10% and 15% based on samples weight, meanwhile the addition of EPS with composition 10% and 20% based on samples volume. The results presented that the highest compressive strength were founded at 5% of POFA, further it is noted that the inclusion of EPS as a soil subtitution decrease the compressive strength. While, the curing periods have a significance effect on the engineering properties of lightweight materials.

Abstract

ABSTRAKJembatan Alue Buloh yang melintasi Sungai Krueng Seunagan adalah satu akses  penghubung yang membatasi Desa Alue Buloh dan Desa Latong dan berada di Kecamatan Seunagan Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Jembatan ini telah mengalami penurunan sebesar 80cm akibat bangunan bawah dari jembatan telah menyebabkan perubahan morfologi sungai Alue Buloh dimana dasar sungai yang mengalami pendangkalan oleh sedimentasi dan erosi tebing mengakibatkan sungai semakin melebar.  Berdasarkan kondisi permasalahan di atas diperlukan kajian dan identifikasi terhadap jembatan yang berada di lokasi studi, dengan tujuan untuk memperoleh besarnya kedalaman gerusan yang terjadi akibat bangunan bawah jembatan yaitu pilar. Analisis kedalaman gerusan dilakukan menggunakan metode Colorado State University (CSU) dan metode Froehlich. Dengan nilai kedalaman maksimum 2.28 m. lebar pilar 4m, panjang pilar 10m, ukuran rerata diameter partikel (D50) 0.91 m, kecepatan aliran rerata 1,36 m / det,koefisien bentuk pilar (K1) round nose 0.75, koefisien sudut datang aliran (K2)0 0  adalah 1 dan koefisien kondisi saluran (K3)small dunes 1,1, nilai bilanga Froude 0,29 maka hasil analisis kedalaman gerusan menggunakan metode CSU diperoleh sebesar 2,96 m dan dengan metode Froehlich sebesar 1,61 m. Dengan hasil ini diharapkan menjadi masukan bagi Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Nagan Raya untuk dapat merencanakan penanganan gerusan lokal akibat adanya pilar jembatan yang sesuai dengan kondisi wilayah studi.

Abstract

AbstractInvestment is an attempt to invest capital in a certain time to obtain profits in the future.Housing is a group of houses that functions as a residential environment or human dwellingthat is equipped with environmental infrastructure that is basic equipment such as the physicalenvironment, such as the provision of drinking water, landfills, availability of electricityresources, etc., which allows the residential environment to function as it should be. While thehouse is a place to let go of fatigue, a place to live for the family, a place for family protection,and also a place as a social status. The purpose of this study was to determine the feasibility ofInsani Regency Lamongan housing investment. The method used to analyze the investmentfeasibility is the Net Present Value Method. From the results of this research, the LamonganRegency Insani Housing showed that it was feasible because it produced a NPV of Rp234,992,925.

Abstract

          Perkerasan jalan menggunakan beton aspal masih menjadi pilihan dalam pembangunan dan revitalisasi di beberapa ruas jalan yang ada di Indonesia. Meskipun beberapa ruas jalan sudah menggunakan perkerasan beton semen, akan tetapi perkerasan jalan menggunakan beton aspal masih menjadi pilihan alternatif karena dalam perencanaannya mempertimbangkan kondisi geografis dari wilayah itu sendiri, daya dukung tanah dasar, existing jalan serta nilai ekonomisnya. Beton aspal itu sendiri menurut (Sukirman, 2003) mempunyai definisi “Jenis perkerasan jalan yang terdiri dari campuran agregat dan aspal, dengan atau tanpa bahan tambahan”. Yang dimana 90-95% bahan utamanya adalah agregat. Oleh karena itu daya dukung lapisan perkerasan beton aspal sangat ditentukan oleh sifat-sifat butir agregat seperti gradasi agregat, kebersihan agregat, dan tingkat ketahanan agregat.

Abstract

The road construction implementation plan must be supported by supporting parameters such as the plan for the construction of a new road at the Islamic University of Nahdlatul Ulama Jepara. One of the supporting parameters is conducting subgrade testing. Usually subgrade tests for roads use several tests to obtain CBR values. However, this study examines soil compression that will occur when loading is carried out. The type of testing performed is a consolidation test in the laboratory. The result of this test is the Compression Index (Cc) value of laboratory Cc = 0.8305. The pre-consolidated stress (Pc) Pc (the maximum stress that the soil has experienced in the past) = 4.8 kg / cm2. P0 (current stress experienced by the soil) = 0.0773 kg / cm2. OCR = 64.6557. Pc> P0 so that the soil from this laboratory test is Over Consolidated. At a load of 0.5 kg get a value of Cv 0.024, a load of 1 kg get a value of Cv 0.048, a load of 4 kg get a value of Cv 0.444, and a load of 8 kg get a value of Cv 0.177. Recompression Index (Cr) Value of laboratory Cr = - 0.4152
