Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effect of job insecurity on the turnover intention of employees at PT. Telekomunikasi Jakarta. The study also examines the moderating roles of organizational support and ethical leadership, as well as the mediating role of job satisfaction. Through a survey of 240 employees in three IT departments and PLS-SEM analysis, the findings reveal that job insecurity significantly increases employees' desire to leave the company. Organizational support and ethical leadership are shown to strengthen the positive relationship between job insecurity and turnover intention. Conversely, job insecurity significantly decreases job satisfaction, which subsequently reduces turnover intention. Additionally, job satisfaction acts as a significant mediator in the pathway from job insecurity to turnover intention.

Abstract

Changes in the Minister of Education have directly led to shifts in the national curriculum. The implementation of the new curriculum began gradually in 2023, requiring teachers to be ready to adapt. However, certain conditions indicate that this readiness is not yet fully evident. This study aims to examine the effect of principal leadership agility, teacher competence, and work environment on readiness for change, mediated by employee engagement at Don Bosco School, Panca Dharma Foundation, Jakarta. A quantitative associative method was used, with data collected through questionnaires from 181 teachers. Hypothesis testing was conducted using SEM-PLS (Partial Least Square) 3.0, with hypothesis acceptance based on t-statistics compared to the t-table value of 1.645 at a 0.05 significance level (one-tailed). Findings reveal that principal leadership agility, teacher competence, and work environment influence readiness for change by 60.10%, while 39.9% is influenced by other variables. These factors also affect employee engagement by 71.40%, with 28.6% attributed to other factors. Recommendations include encouraging principals to strengthen leadership skills and engage staff in strategic decision-making. School management is advised to maintain a supportive work environment to enhance teacher involvement and adaptability.

Abstract

When it comes to enhancing the efficiency of educational institutions, knowledge management plays a crucial role. This study aims to analyse the role of knowledge management in improving the performance of Private Universities in the Pantura region of West Java. As a first step in the research process and creating a research model, this study employs a quantitative descriptive approach to describe the actual conditions using data gathered from questionnaires based on first-hand observation of research objects and interviews. During this phase, researchers gather information and preliminary data through observations. Subsequent study systematically defines the features or functions of a phenomenon within a certain population, emphasising what happens and how it can happen. In this method, 315 faculty members with at least two years of experience as permanent lecturers at private university foundations fill out a questionnaire based on the knowledge management model and higher education performance indicators. The purpose of this survey is to examine potential relationships between the variables. The direct influence of knowledge management on university performance was tested through data analysis utilising the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) approach. According to the study's conclusions, university performance is positively affected by knowledge management. This conclusion reinforces the significance of enhancing knowledge management to boost university competitiveness. In order to create policies for the long-term development of knowledge management, university administrators might look to the research's practical consequences.
