Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of employee experience on employee productivity in service sector companies located in West Java Province, Indonesia. Employee experience is assessed through four main dimensions: work technology, organizational culture, leadership, and employee well-being. The study adopts a quantitative explanatory research approach. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire distributed to 100 permanent employees across various service-based companies. Multiple linear regression analysis was employed using SPSS software. The results show that all dimensions of employee experience have a positive and significant effect on employee productivity, with leadership emerging as the most dominant factor. The regression model demonstrates an R square value of 0.507, indicating that 50.7% of the variability in employee productivity can be explained by the four dimensions of employee experience. These findings highlight the importance of strategically managing employee experience as an effective managerial approach to enhancing both individual and organizational performance.

Abstract

The digital revolution has significantly changed the marketing landscape, particularly through social media, which is now the main platform for building relationships between brands and consumers. This study aims to examine the influence of social media involvement on the purchase intention of Generation Z consumers in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, collecting data from 250 Generation Z respondents who actively interact with brands on social media. Data analysis was carried out using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that social media engagement has a positive and significant effect on purchase intent, with a strong path coefficient and a high level of significance. These findings reinforce the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) model in the context of digital consumer behavior, as well as emphasize the importance of active engagement strategies to drive purchasing decisions. This research makes a theoretical contribution to the social media engagement literature and offers managerial implications for brands looking to optimize digital interactions with Generation Z consumers.

Abstract

The challenge of today's business organizations is to get the best employees at a low-cost performance. Recruitment costs are considered important and become part of a business strategy so that business processes run effectively and efficiently. So that knowledge of simultaneous recruitment and selection costs is needed by business organizations to support the achievement of a business vision globally. This research is a qualitative descriptive research design using the cost per hire (CPH) formulation as a formulation to calculate recruitment costs and a comparison of the findings was carried out in 5 different company objects in different fields. Based on the results of the research, it was found that hoteliers and plantation companies relatively have high selection recruitment costs, this is due to the needs of candidates, the majority of whom are specialists, so they require comprehensive selection recruitment procedures and involve external services in their implementation. In manufacturing companies, services and trade are relatively lower because the need for labor is generally relatively mass and non-skilled so the procedure is relatively simpler. In order for this study to produce broader findings data, it is hoped that future studies will use more company objects, more comprehensive calculation formulations, and by using broader cost indicators.

Abstract

The insertion of myth into ritual events and supernatural powers in a dance performance certainly has a greater purpose. Something sacred and considered to have supernatural powers certainly has a value that cannot be grasped by common sense, so the mysteriousness of myths is still difficult to consider as truth. In general, this research aims to comprehensively examine the myths that develop in dance performance rituals, especially in the lives of the people of Aceh, Java, Bali, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Papua. This research method is qualitative research carried out by describing facts. The results of this research show that the background to the emergence of myths in ritual dance in Aceh, Java, Bali, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Papua is based on folklore that developed in these areas. Apart from that, it was also found that the main motives for creating myths were monotheism and ecological motifs. The bond and awareness between humans, the universe, and God create a balanced relationship so that a safe, secure, and protected situation is created. In this case, it can be seen that myths are not just reports of events that previously occurred, but myths provide direction to human behavior and are a guide in determining human wisdom.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of competence and transformational leadership on employee performance, as well as the role of work motivation as a mediating variable, in the context of a state-owned company managing water resources, namely Perum Jasa Tirta II. The background of this research is the stagnation of employee performance that occurs despite policy changes and increasing demands for professionalism. The research method used is a quantitative approach with descriptive and verification designs, using data from 222 respondents analyzed through Partial Least Squares-based Structural Equation Modeling. The results showed that competence has a positive and significant effect on work motivation and employee performance, and work motivation is able to mediate the relationship between competence and performance. Meanwhile, transformational leadership only has a weak effect on performance and is insignificant on work motivation, and does not have a significant indirect effect on performance through motivation. In conclusion, competency development is more effective than the transformational leadership approach in improving employee performance in BUMN managing water resources.

Abstract

The development of major arterial roads and pedestrian infrastructure in the Cibinong Raya area to prepare for hosting the U-20 World Cup in 2023, is a leading program that uses up to 30% of the Bogor Regency infrastructure budget. Development with a large budget requires appropriately applied stakeholder management of infrastructure assets, through supervision and control of road assets accommodated in the licensing activities for using the right-of-way, to reduce the risk of physical damage to assets due to violations. The Result-Based Management Model was used to evaluate the control of asset utilization in providing technical recommendations for right-of-way utilization. Then, through ordinal scale weighting followed by in-depth interviews, an innovation model for stakeholder management risk control was obtained that is appropriate for the use of right-of-way on major arterial roads in Bogor Regency. The weighting of the stakeholder management indicators showed that the risk control aspect was the weakest element so it was necessary to emphasize the integration of the Risk Control function into each management indicator.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of liquidity, solvency, and interest rates on Return on Assets (ROA) in conventional banks listed in the Infobank15 index during the period 2019–2023. In the context of economic dynamics caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and changes in monetary policy, this research adopts a quantitative approach using panel data regression and the Seemingly Unrelated Regression (SUR) estimation method. The results show that, partially, the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and interest rates have a positive and significant effect on ROA, while the Current Ratio (CR) has no significant effect. Simultaneously, the three independent variables are proven to significantly influence ROA. These findings provide important implications for bank management, regulators, and investors in formulating strategies to enhance profitability and stability in Indonesia's banking sector.

Abstract

The zoning policy in Indonesia's education system is implemented to equalize access to education in all regions and reduce inequality between schools. This study aims to analyze the impact of the zoning policy on student resilience, self-efficacy, and learning achievement in public junior high schools in Gresik Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a literature study, collecting data from various literature sources such as books, scientific articles, journals and related policy documents. The results show that the zoning policy has a positive impact on students' emotional resilience, improving social interaction between students and creating more equitable educational opportunities. However, it also poses challenges for schools with limited facilities that have to improve teaching quality to meet students' and parents' expectations. The impact on students' self-efficacy depends on school facilities and students' perceptions of the school they choose. Overall, the zoning policy can improve learning achievement if it is followed by improvements in the quality of education in all schools.
