Abstract

This research was conducted in Nagari Lakitan, which is one of the nagari located in the coastal area in the South Coast Regency, which has the potential to develop dried fish production processing to increase the economic income of the community in the area. The purpose of this study is to find out how the efforts of stakeholders related to the empowerment of fishermen's wives in Nagari Lakitan through dried fish production, as well as inhibiting factors in carrying out empowerment. This type of research is qualitative using a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used in this study are interviews, observations and documentation. In processing data, this study uses data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. Then to test the validity of the data in this study, the author uses the triangulation technique of sources and methods. The results of this study show that there are 2 factors that hinder stakeholders in implementing empowerment, namely the unavailability of budget and the limited number of personnel. Furthermore, the forms of efforts made by stakeholders to empower the wives of dry processing fishermen in Nagari Lakitan, namely 1) sustainable skills development, 2) increased access to fish processing equipment assistance, and 3) training assistance to fishermen's wives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of emotional intelligence on career adaptability in students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Padang State University, with career decision self-efficacy as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative method with a survey approach, data were collected from 100 samples were used which were then processed using the SmartPLS v.4.1.0.2 application. The results of this study show that: (1) Emotional intelligence has a positive influence on career adaptability, (2) Emotional intelligence has a positive influence on career decision self efficacy, (3) Career decision self-efficacy has a positive influence on career adaptability, (4) Career decision self-efficacy mediates the influence of emotional intelligence on career adaptability

Abstract

This study examines the influence of work-life balance on employee well-being, with job stress as a mediating variable, focusing on employees of PT Bank Nagari Main Branch. The research uses the Job Demand-Resources Theory to explore these relationships, employing a quantitative approach with 60 respondents selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Data was analyzed using SmartPLS 4.1.0.2. The results of this study show that: (1) work-life balance positively but insignificantly affects employee well-being, (2) work-life balance has a significant negative effect on job stress, (3) job stress negatively but insignificantly impacts employee well-being, (4) mediation analysis reveals that job stress does not significantly mediate the relationship between work-life balance and employee well-being.

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of social media marketing activities (SMMA) on brand equity and consumer response in the skincare product. Customer responses in this research are divided into 2, namely: E-Wom and commitment. Customer response itself is the customer's response to the products or services offered by the Company regarding the products used. Customer response itself is encouraged because of the social media marketing activity carried out by the Company which aims to increase brand awareness and brand image of the company in order to get a positive response. from consumers. The research survey was conducted on 200 consumers who use social media managed by the Cosrx brand, and the data was analyzed through structural equation modeling using the Smart PLS v.4.0.9.9 application. The research results show that trends are one of the most important components of SMMA and SMMA in Cosrx skincare has a significant impact on brand awareness and brand image. Apart from that, the research results also show that brand awareness and brand image significantly influence E-Wom and commitment. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used as fundamental data in developing SMMA strategies for the beauty industry, in particular by investigating the relative importance of each SMMA component and analyzing the impact of SMMA.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Brand Ambassador, Country and Product Image, and Korean Wave on Behavior with Attitude as a Mediating Variable for Calvin Klein with Jungkook BTS as Brand Ambassador in Indonesia. The population of this research includes consumers who recognize Calvin Klein products and have an interest in Jungkook as a brand ambassador. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling, with a sample size of 200 respondents. Data was collected through the distribution of online questionnaires and processed using SmartPLS 4.1.0.9 software. The results of this study indicate that (1) Brand Ambassador has a positive and significant effect on Country and Product Image for Calvin Klein products in Indonesia, (2) Korean Wave has a positive and significant effect on Country and Product Image for Calvin Klein products in Indonesia, (3) Korean Wave has a positive and significant effect on consumer Attitude towards Calvin Klein products in Indonesia, (4) Country and Product Image have a positive and significant effect on consumer Attitude towards Calvin Klein products in Indonesia, (5) Attitude has a positive and significant effect on consumer Behavior towards Calvin Klein products in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of Brand Loyalty, Cross-Channel Search, Channel Price Advantage, Channel Satisfaction, Perceived Risk on Shopee Channel Selection Intention (Case Study of Maybelline Lipstick Products) in Padang City. Data was collected through online distribution of questionnaires from 300 respondents. The research method used is quantitative with data analysis using Smart PLS and the boostsrap technique. The research results show that (1) Brand Loyalty has an influence on Channel Selection Intention. (2) Cross-Channel Search has no effect on Channel Selection Intention. (3) Channel Satisfaction has no effect on Channel Selection Intention (4) Channel Price Advantage has no effect on Channel Selection Intention. (5) Perceived Risk influences Channel Selection Intention. These findings provide insight into how Brand Loyalty, Cross Channel Searching, Channel Price Advantage, Channel Satisfaction, Perceived Risk influence Channel Selection Intention.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure on financial performance as measured by Return on Asset (ROA) and the role of business risk as a moderating variable. Secondary data is taken from the financial statements of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2019-2023 period, with a total sample of 73 companies selected using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression and moderating regression analysis.The results showed that short-term debt has a significant positive effect on ROA, while long-term debt and total debt have a significant negative effect on ROA. In addition, business risk can moderate strengthen the relationship between short-term debt and ROA, but weaken the relationship between long-term debt and ROA. Meanwhile, business risk does not moderate the relationship between total debt and ROA.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality, service quality and price on repurchase intention mediated by consumer satisfaction towards mie gacoan in Padang city. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 128 respondents who live in Padang city and have bought mie gacoan more than 2 times with an age range of 17 - 30 years using an online questionnaire. data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics. the results of this study indicate that product quality and service quality have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction. price does not have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction. service quality and price have a significant effect on repurchase intention, while product quality does not have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction. consumer satisfaction has a significant effect mediating service quality and price on repurchase intention. in addition, consumer satisfaction does not have a significant effect in mediating product quality on repurchase intention. this study expects the need for other strategies to be able to increase repurchase intention towards mie gacoan restaurants in Padang city.

Abstract

Teknologi telah menjadi elemen yang sangat penting dalam bidang pendidikan. Integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan aksesibilitas terhadap informasi dengan mudah. Selain kemudahan, juga meyediakan berbagai kemudahan dalam proses belajar-mengajar. Salah satu bentuk metode pembelajaran online dengan menggunakan hybrid learning. Sistem pembelajaran hybrid membantu bagi peserta didik, terutama bagi mahasiswa yang kuliah sambil kerja, yang sebagian besar dilaksanakan oleh perguruan tinggi.Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini berupa library research. Analisis data dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pembelajaran hybrid learning di era transformasi digital, sehingga penelitian ini lebih tepat menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, kemudian ditafsirkan secara deskriptif. Model pembelajaran hybrid, ada dua elemen utama: pembelajaran daring (online) dan tatap muka (offline), yang bisa dipilih atau digabungkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masing-masing. Fleksibilitas pembelajaran hybrid mendukung peserta didik baik peserta didik dalam pembelajaran andragogik maupun pedagogik dalam memilih metode yang paling tepat. Platform teknologi pembelajaran yang digunakan untuk mendukung proses belajar mengajar, baik dalam konteks pembelajaran daring, tatap muka, maupun model hybrid. sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengajaran dan pembelajaran di masing-masing institusi. Zoom adalah platform yang sangat berguna dalam pendidikan, memungkinkan komunikasi dan kolaborasi yang efektif antara pengajar dan siswa, terutama dalam situasi pembelajaran jarak jauh atau hybrid. Dalam model pembelajaran hybrid, ada dua elemen utama: pembelajaran daring (online) dan tatap muka (offline), yang bisa dipilih atau digabungkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masing-masing. Dengan demikian, implementasi pembelajaran hybrid mendukung peserta didik dalam mengelola waktu dan cara belajar secara lebih mandiri, efisien, dan efektif, serta memperkaya pengalaman belajar secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of brand experience on willingness to pay a premium price with brand loyalty and brand love as mediating variables on Viu application users, especially K-Drama lovers in Padang City. The research method used is quantitative with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach using Smart PLS 4 software. Data were collected from 313 respondents who are Viu users in Padang City. The results of the study indicate that brand experience has a significant effect on brand loyalty and brand love. In addition, brand loyalty and brand love act as mediation in increasing willingness to pay a premium price. The conclusion of this study confirms that a positive experience in using the Viu application contributes to increasing user loyalty and love for the brand, which ultimately encourages them to be willing to pay a premium price
