Abstract

This study examines the Strategy of History Teachers Based on Constructivism in the Internalization of JSN 45 to Support the Golden Indonesia Vision 2045. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach, analyzing the theories of Dewey, Bandura, and Vygotsky as the basis for meaningful learning. Veterans are involved as models and sources of inspiration to provide real experiences (Dewey), to be role models of struggle values (Bandura), and to support the gradual learning process through scaffolding (Vygotsky). The internalization of values such as nationalism, unity, and sacrifice has been proven to help shape the character of the young generation who are resilient, moral, and actively contribute to nation building.

Abstract

This study aims to determine efforts to improve skills and family welfare through training in Gentungan Village, Mojogedang District, Karanganyar Regency. Kokedama skill is a technique for planting ornamental plants using coconut fiber originating from Japan. This kokedama technique can be done by many people because of the use of materials that are easily available. Gentungan Village has its own charm with abundant natural resources. This kokedama skills training aims as one of the community empowerment efforts in utilizing local potential. This program is held using the community empowerment method, starting from field surveys, program preparation, coordination with stakeholders, program implementation, and evaluation. The implementation of kokedama training held at the Farmhouse with resource persons was enthusiastically received by local residents. The results showed that increased creativity and skills have opened up new business opportunities for the people of Gentungan Village. In addition, this kokedama training can be one of the efforts in developing and empowering local tourism potential as well as preserving the environment.

Abstract

Universally, cultural strength can be a locus in building the character of the Indonesian nation as a global society. Cultural diversity can be a primary source of strength in developing the implicit meanings within that culture, especially regarding gender justice, which has recently been experiencing degradation. Through this cultural potential, it is hoped to address the polemic of violence against women and be used as a subsystem in handling gender justice issues for the Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Office. Culture, as a system of values born from the womb of local culture, should be used as a reference for stakeholders in resolving the complex issues of gender justice. This research aims to delve deeper into gender issues from the perspective of local wisdom of the Lio-Sikka ethnic group. Additionally, it seeks to explore and interpret the meaning of gender justice perceived by Lio-Sikka customs. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with an ethnographic approach developed by Spradley. The data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The main data sources were taken from traditional elders, community leaders, and the head of the Women's Empowerment Office in Sikka Regency. The data analysis technique used the 12-step method developed by Spradley. The research results show: that first, the reconstruction of gender justice from the perspective of the local wisdom of the Lio-Sikka ethnic group reveals several points, namely in the context of patriarchal ideology, social construction, women and marriage rituals, women and legendary stories. Second, the Meaning of Gender Justice in Relation to Lio-Sikka Customs includes, Ine Weta, Ama Laki (Mother as Protector, Father as Leader), Lelu wolo, ina tana (Father as Mountain, Mother as Earth), Embo wawa wolo, nggika wawa tana (Women Climb Mountains, Men Descend Valleys), Lela laku, ine eme (Father as Leader, Mother as Housekeeper), Nggaa nggipa, naja nggipa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the social and economic life of farmers in Ngrandu Village in 2000-2024 and analyze the development of agriculture in Ngrandu Village in 2000-2024. This study uses historical research methods which include: Heuristics, Criticism, Interpretation, and Historiography. The results of this study are: Getting to know Ngrandu Village, Ponorogo Regency, The development of agriculture, especially rice farming in Ngrandu Village has changed in 2000-2024, the social conditions of rice farmers in Ngrandu Village have changed in 2000-2024, the economic conditions of rice farmers in Ngrandu Village have changed in 2000-2024. Thus it can be seen that rice farmers in Ngrandu Village have changed from time to time.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of native language on the ability of young Indonesian learners to pronounce English short vowels. Focusing on kindergarten-level students in Badung, Bali, the research explores difficulties in producing English vowel sounds absent in the Indonesian vowel system. Through observation and analysis of students’ pronunciation recordings of consonant-vowel-consonant (CVC) words, the findings reveal that vowel sounds such as /æ/, /ʌ/, and /ɒ/ are often substituted with more familiar vowels from the Indonesian language, such as /e/ and /o/. These mispronunciations are attributed to the limited vowel system of Indonesian, which consists of only five primary vowels. The results support the theory of first language (L1) interference, which posits that differences in phonological structures between the native and target languages pose challenges in language learning. This study highlights the importance of increased exposure to English pronunciation and phonetic practice to enhance learners' pronunciation skills.

Abstract

In the digital age, e-commerce is becoming one of the main pillars of the modern economy, where service quality plays a crucial role in creating a superior customer experience. Blibli, as one of the leading e-commerce platforms in Indonesia, faces challenges in maintaining customer loyalty amid fierce market competition. This study aims to analyze the influence of Service Quality on Customer Loyalty with Customer Satisfaction as a mediating variable in users of the Blibli e-commerce application. The research approach uses a quantitative method by collecting data through questionnaires through Gform and involving 180 respondents who are active users of the Blibli application, and then processed using the SmartPLS application v.4.0.9.9. The results of the study show that: (1) Service Quality has a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction, with Service Quality dimensions such as efficiency, content, fulfillment, responsiveness, and contact. (2) Service Quality has a Positive and Significant Effect on Customer Loyalty, (3) Customer Satisfaction has a Positive and Significant Effect on Customer Loyalty on Service Quality

Abstract

Faith in Islam is considered a divine blessing for all Muslim communities. As a divine mercy, faith is intricately linked to humanity, influencing moral character and virtues. However, radicalism, understood as the fundamentalist ideology and extremist movements of certain Islamic groups, rejects coexistence in diversity and refuses pluralism. This exclusive spirit not only harms interfaith harmony but also poses internal challenges within the Muslim community. Progressive Muslims, as a more open and flexible trend and movement, advocate for the values of Pluralism as essential aspects of humanity and religiosity. This is manifested in inter-subjective and inter-faith relations, as well as in the spirit of sharing love and compassion. The author employs a philosophical-hermeneutical method to qualitatively understand and interpret the central components of this writing, namely radicalism, the concept of pluralism in the context of Progressive Muslims popularized by Omid Safi, and the Multiple Critique Method.

Abstract

The implementation process of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) must be carried out independently and centered on students. Schools have the task of creating effective learning designs. The purpose of this study was to determine the school's adaptation in recognizing potential, obstacles, and strategies during the P5 program using Niklas Luhman's autopoiesis system theory. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data sources come from interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data validity uses triangulation of sources and techniques. Data analysis in this study uses the Miles and Huberman model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study explain that the potential, obstacles, and strategies carried out by schools are a depiction of autopoiesis in the implementation of the P5 program. This is because each characteristic of autopoiesis is found in every element used by the school, including the formation of school elements, how to organize, system references, and systems applied in the implementation of the P5 program.

Abstract

History education at the high school level has a strategic role in building historical awareness, national identity, and student character. This article discusses the importance of integrating local and national history as a holistic approach to history learning to create relevant, meaningful, and inclusive learning. Using a descriptive qualitative method based on literature studies, this study identifies the role of local history as a complement to the national narrative, as well as the challenges faced in its implementation, such as curriculum limitations, lack of supporting resources, and lack of teacher training. The resource-based learning model and the environmental approach as a history laboratory are effective strategies in supporting this integration. The results of the study show that the integration of local and national history can enrich history learning, strengthen students' awareness of local and national identity, and support the development of critical and historical thinking skills. This integration not only improves the quality of history learning but also contributes to the formation of a critical, caring, and responsible young generation.

Abstract

The title of this research is “The Effect of Cartoon Pictures in Colored Envelopes on the Grammar Mastery of the 7th Graders at SMPN 1 Glagah in the Academic Year 2023-2024”. It is written to be submitted to the English Educational Department of PGRI University of Banyuwangi. The respondents of the research are seventh grade students at SMPN 1 Glagah academic year 2023/2024. In this research, the researcher took one class as the sample. The subject research is class VIIC which consists of 31 students. The objective of this research is To determine whether or not there is any effect of Cartoon Pictures in Colored Envelopes on the Grammar Mastery of the 7th year graders at SMPN 1 GLAGAH. The researcher conducted this research for three times of meeting, first day for pre-test, second day for treatment and last day for post-test. The method used in this research is quantitative with a one group pretest-posttest research design. The researcher used test as the instrument. After the data was obtained, the researcher calculated the data using the Wilcoxon test. Based on the calculation results, the pretest average was 34.86 and the posttest average was 77.91. To determine the truth of the hypothesis, the result of Wilcoxon test is 0.000, which is a lower value when viewed from the significance level of 0.05 used (0.000 < 0.05). It can be concluded that the hypothesis "Use cartoon pictures in colored envelopes as a learning media is effective on students' grammar mastery of the 7th graders at SMPN 1 Glagah in the academic year 2023-2024 is accepted”
