Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of extracurricular activities on student learning outcomes in elementary schools. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques carried out online through google form using a questionnaire. Respondents or informants in this study were elementary school teachers in the Bekasi City or Regency area. The results showed that extracurricular activities have a significant positive impact on student development, both academically and non-academically. Students involved in these activities showed increased self-confidence, independence and social skills, as well as being more critical, disciplined, creative and motivated to learn. The supportive environment in extracurricular activities contributes to the development of students' positive attitudes and behaviors, helping them learn to work together, become responsible leaders, and care for the environment. These activities also encourage students to actively participate, with motivational support from teachers who help them recognize their interests and talents and provide appreciation for achievements. In addition, it is important to evaluate the effectiveness of extracurricular activities through feedback from students and participation in social activities to ensure that the goal of developing students' social and physical skills is achieved.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran flashcard berbasis kearifan lokal untuk menanamkan karakter cinta tanah air pada siswa kelas IV SD. Media dikembangkan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dengan instrumen berupa angket validasi ahli, soal pre-test dan post-test, serta angket respons siswa. Hasil validasi menunjukkan media sangat valid dengan persentase kevalidan 96,43%. Efektivitas diukur melalui Ngain dan menunjukkan hasil yang termasuk kategori tinggi. Respons siswa terhadap penggunaan media yang dikembangkan ini sangat positif, mencapai 92,3% di kelas IV-A dan 96,3% di kelas IV-B. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media ini valid dan efektif meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap keragaman budaya serta menanamkan karakter cinta tanah air.Kata Kunci: flashcard; karakter cinta tanah air; kearifan lokal; pengembangan media; siswa kelas IV SD

Abstract

The aim of this research was to know whether there is a significant effect of teaching by using picture cued task toward students’ writing skill at the tenth grade of SMAN 14 Kota Tangerang. The method of the research used quantitative research and for the design of the research is Quasi- Experimental research with one group by using pre-test and post-test in experimental class. Students test was used by the writer to collect the data through pre-test and post-test. The result of this research was statistical calculation by One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, it is known the asymptotic significances of the pre-test and post-test in experimental class data is 0.000 (0.05). it can be concluded that there is positive effect of the use picture cued task in engaging students writing skill.
