Abstract

Universities are institutions providing higher education. Choosing a major in higher education is certainly influenced by many factors. These factors include internal factors and external factors. These internal factors come from the prospective students themselves. On the other hand, there are also external factors that influence the choice of major in higher education, whether from parents or friends. Therefore, a decision support system is needed in determining the appropriate major. The method used is the Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis Method. The stages in developing a decision support system for selecting majors are data collection, MOORA calculations to see the relationship between criteria and alternatives, the final stage is testing to validate the results using manual and system calculations. The result of this research is that the decision support system for selecting a major can recommend decision makers in choosing a major.

Abstract

PT. Kemakmuran Jaya Mandiri Is a company engaged in the sale of Honda motorcycles and service of spare parts.The service information system for motorcycle parts in the company currently uses a combination of spreadsheet technology and records in the customer service book.In addition to the above, an important concern is how the system is able to control every spare parts service data to provide accurate information and can be a control on every replacement transaction and spare parts requests, so that companies have no difficulty evaluating and recording every transaction.The method used to analyze the system that has been running in this company is using the observation method and also direct interviews.Speeds up the service process for replacing spare parts is easier to input and can reduce errors and mistakes. Help the sales counter to record every spare part that has been input and can make more effective reports

Abstract

PT. PLN ULP Medan Baru is part of a State-Owned Enterprise that focuses on the Customer Service Unit. Currently customers are already using the PLN Mobile application, but some customers still come to the office directly to submit complaints and complaints regarding the condition of electricity in their homes. The PLN Mobile application sometimes experiences errors when making complaints, some users may face problems if the application is not compatible with the current version. This research aims to develop a web-based information system that makes it easier for customers to process complaints, requests for new installations, power changes and migration. The results of this research produced an information system for Electrical Installation Services at PT. PLN ULP Medan Baru, which aims to make it easier for customers to report complaints or problems related to electricity where they live.

Abstract

Archiving is the task of storing highly important data. All recorded data must be accurate and accessible whenever needed, enabling employees to provide effective services. Manual archiving of letters often leads to errors in data storage and retrieval. Therefore, there is a need for a web-based letter archiving application system to address these issues. This research employs the waterfall method, where the developed system is web-based using HTML, Xampp, MySQL manages the database, and PHP programming language is utilized with the assistance of Visual Studio Code text editor. The goal of this research is to design an archiving system that can be managed effectively and efficiently. Letter archiving is done electronically, where documents are stored in softcopy form and equipped with incoming and outgoing letter reports. This approach reduces the risk of errors in data storage and letter retrieval, as the data is stored in a computer database.

Abstract

Designing an information system for accepting apprentices at the Simalungun Regency BPS office, the Simalungun Regency government is carrying out an internship program to develop skills and improve the quality of the local workforce. As an effort to increase efficiency and effectiveness in accepting apprentices. Acceptance of apprentices at BPS Simalungun Regency will have the main function of managing apprentice data, conducting data searches, sorting prospective apprentices, producing statistical reports, and sending notifications to apprentices. This system meets data security standards and limited access to authorized users. At the implementation stage, this system will validate data input for apprentices to avoid entering data that does not match the desired format, and also has a feature to delete data for apprentices who are inactive or not verified by BPS Simalungun Regency. Increases efficiency and effectiveness in accepting apprentices, streamlines the data verification process.

Abstract

The management of non-employee attendance is a crucial element in building an inclusive and equitable work environment at PT. Nusantara IV Plantation Medan. This study identifies inequality in the existing attendance system, where employees still have a separate and efficient attendance system, this study proposes the design of an Attendance Information System that focuses on fairness and recognition of non-employee attendance. The purpose of this study is to design a system that allows non-employees to have the same attendance access as permanent employees, which can be done through a mobile application using QR-Code technology. The data collection method is carried out through interviews and field observations as well as literature studies, while the development of the system uses the waterfall method. Through this approach, it is hoped that equality will be created in treating the presence of non-employees so that they are also valued and recognized like other permanent employees.

Abstract

PT Indra Karya is one of the state-owned companies in the field of construction consultants. PT Indra Karya, in carrying out its business processes, still uses traditional methods in documenting, For this reason, PT Indra Karya is trying to digitize existing business processes for the application of modern technology, in line with the president's appeal regarding IndustryOne of the efforts made to realize this is the auction inventory system. In designing the application, it requires an application framework with its model, namely Laravel as a framework used for design methods and using a prototyping model to facilitate the design and evaluation stages. In the design process, using the PHPMyadmin database, which functions as a storage medium and data that will be processed in the application activity, the result of the design is an auction inventory application that can run on an online platform by adhering to the English auction method. The process of transferring inventory items can be done easily and can bring value and instill a digital culture in employees.

Abstract

Research to analyze the student complaint service system at Banten Jaya University so that it can be more effective in accepting and serving students for the advancement of the academic community on campus. Complaints and consultations are the process of conveying information, aspirations and complaints, whether complaints regarding the lack of campus academic services, regarding learning activities and so on. At Banten Jaya University the process of handling complaints and grievances is still done manually and the complaint data has not been computerized. So there is a lack of information regarding the complaint handling process that can be known by the consultant. The aim of this research is to design the UNBAJA Peduli (SIJALI) Application to assist in distribution and complaint handling services at Banten Jaya University. This application is designed to be website-based so it can be accessed easily and uses the ILAD method as a problem solver.

Abstract

Konseling yang ditawarkan di universitas dapat membantu mahasiswa yang mempunyai permasalahan dan membutuhkan nasihat ahli. Dengan adanya sistem informasi konseling online dapat memudahkan siswa dalam mencari konseling. Sistem ini memiliki beberapa fungsi seperti database pelajar, konselor, jadwal konseling, dan arsip data. Untuk merancang sistem ini, saya menggunakan pendekatan pengembangan perangkat lunak berbasis web yang meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, pengembangan aplikasi, dan pengujian. Saat merancang sistem ini, saya juga menggunakan teknologi pengembangan web terkini seperti database PHP, HTML dan MySQL untuk memastikan skalabilitas dan keamanan sistem. Dengan diterapkannya sistem ini diharapkan siswa dapat segera mengatur jadwal konseling untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada. Siswa dapat mengirimkan jadwal bimbingan belajar, melihat informasi tutor yang tersedia, dan melihat serta menghapus arsip jadwal bimbingan belajar.

Abstract

Scientific development today is developing very rapidly especially in the field of IT is a necessary area of society to maximum convenience and optimum results. In the neighborhood of the Modern Pondok Pesantren Darul Ihsan the licensing system is still done manually and is not computerized. Besides, the governor repeatedly applied for permission but not on the permission schedule. So from that, we need some kind of web-based online licensing system to help work the privacy and security parts. In this article, the author uses the Waterfall method, which is a method of developing a system or software where the work process of the system is run sequentially and systematically. This online licensing system is expected to help the central guardian in the license process and speed up the licencing process to make it easier.
