Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on make-up artists (MUA) who work as facial make up and hair styling for various interests that are at high risk of exposure to Covid-19 transmission so that they need personal protective clothing to avoid droplets. Based on this, researchers developed personal protective clothing designs for the make up artist profession to identify criteria, steps, and opinions of design experts about the feasibility of personal protective clothing design for the make up artist profession. Referring to the research model written by Thiagarajaan (1974) with 4D steps on the subject of make up artist research in bantul area obtained: (1) Design criteria using waterproof materials, washable, inconspicuous colors, leeway can be arranged, closed and tight, and in accordance with the needs of the make up artist profession. (2) The define stage is obtained from literature studies and interviews of prospective users, design is used to pour the ideas obtained, the development stage of researchers reordering product design according to input from design experts and disseminate introducing products to prospective users. (3) The results of personal protective clothing design assessment for the make up artist profession are very high category of 3 respondents or 100% so that the design is worthy to be disseminated to prospective users. Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak terhadap make-up artist (MUA) yang berprofesi sebagai perias wajah dan menata rambut untuk berbagai kepentingan yang berisiko tinggi terpapar penularan Covid-19 sehingga membutuhkan busana pelindung diri agar terhindar dari droplet. Berdasarkan hal tersebut peneliti mengembangkan desain busana pelindung diri untuk profesi make up artist untuk mengidentifikasi kriteria, langkah-langkah, dan pendapat ahli desain tentang kelayakan desain busana pelindung diri untuk profesi make up artist. Mengacu pada model research yang ditulis oleh Thiagarajaan (1974) dengan langkah 4D pada subjek penelitian make up artist di daerah Bantul didapatkan: (1) Kriteria desain menggunakan bahan anti air, bisa dicuci, warna tidak mencolok, kelonggaran bisa diatur, tertutup dan rapat, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan profesi make up artist. (2) Tahapan define diperoleh dari study literatur dan wawancara calon pengguna, design digunakan untuk menuangkan ide-ide yang didapat, tahap development peneliti menyusun kembali desain produk sesuai masukan dari para ahli desain dan disseminate mengenalkan produk kepada calon pengguna. (3) Hasil penilaian desain busana pelindung diri untuk profesi make up artist berkategori sangat tinggi dari 3 orang responden atau 100% sehingga desain tersebut layak untuk didesiminasikan kepada calon pengguna.

Abstract

Global market competition is increasingly becoming more and more competitive, demanding that product designers continue to enhance their creativity by exploring new design ideas. The global consumer audience highly appreciates the cultural meaning of a product. Nowadays, several brands use local culture as the basic concept, but sadly, they all look alike using materials, traditional styles mixed with more conventional fabrics and shapes. As a result, this paper seeks to study the process of cultural cross-concept for product design and develop a cross between the two cultures using the morphological chart method. A systematic method of developing ideas by matching features that can provide design solutions. The special regional cultures of Yogyakarta and Egypt have been identified as case studies. The two cultures are identified, and the cultural artifacts are identified by their cultural elements, which can be used as a design inspiration. The results of this study were the framework of the cross-cultural design process and the example on how to apply the framework to product design. It is apparent from this process that the relevance of the meaning of the relationship between the two cultures should be formed, so that the assimilation of culture is not wrong and without meaning. Through cultural identification at the outer, middle, and inner levels, the relevance of intercultural relations is becoming apparent. This is important because, in a product with a cross-cultural concept, the story and historical factors influence the customer's perceived value of the cross-cultural product.

Abstract

Konsep fast fashion telah memunculkan masalah berkelanjutan pada siklus pakaian mulai dari tahap produksi sampai tahap setelah pakaian dikenakan. Pakaian modular dengan potensi perubahan bentuk yang dapat memperpanjang umur pakaian dan pemanfaatan kain perca adalah salah satu langkah untuk turut berkontribusi terhadap dominasi limbah tekstil sisa produksi. Pakaian modular diolah dengan teknik manipulating fabric slashing untuk memperindah visual pakaian dengan memunculkan tekstur dan warna yang menarik dari lapisan kain perca. Metode yang digunakan adalah Teori Penciptaan Gustami yang terdiri dari tahap eksplorasi, tahap perancangan, dan tahap perwujudan. Produk ini memiliki nilai fungsi sekaligus estetis ysng dapat menciptakan kebaruan dengan meningkatkan nilai sebuah produk dari limbah tekstil.

Abstract

To improve the shopping experience for customers, and provide better selling experience services for marketplace sellers, as of 2021-2022, Zalora updated the UI/UX on the Zalora platform and seller center. There are 8 additional features that are considered to help sellers and customers interact better: 1) Seller Rating Information; 2) There are new payment methods, especially pay later; 3) Payment method improvement; 4) Account verification via email and cellphone number; 5) Address input via geocoding; 6) Voucher in PDV; 7) Zalora Interactive Store; 8) Loyalty Programs; and 9) Z-Live. Key words : UI, UX, Zalora, Marketplace, Seller, Customer Untuk meningkatkan pengalaman berbelanja bagi pelanggan, dan memberikan servis pengalaman berjualan yang lebih baik bagi penjual marketplace, per 2021-2022, Zalora memperbarui UI/UX pada platform Zalora dan seller center. Abstract

Dengan berbagai keterbatasan dalam situasi pandemi Covid 19 menjadi tantangan seorang guru untuk terus mau belajar dan berlatih pembelajaran secara daring. Proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan multimedia video tutorial dapat menjadi lebih menarik dan interaktif, selain itu juga dapat menstimulus semangat belajar peserta didik serta keseriusan peserta didik sehingga kualitas belajar peserta didik dapat lebih meningkat. Salah satu mata kuliah pada Prodi Pendidikan Tata Busana yang disampaikan secara teori dan praktik yaitu mata kuliah Seni Sulaman dipelajari berbagai macam sulaman salah satunya yaitu smock jepang. Implementasi multimedia video tutorial teknik smock Jepang pada perkuliahan daring Seni Sulaman, paparan materi teori pembuatan teknik smock Jepang pada multimedia video tutorial pada umumnya lebih dari setengahnya menyatakan bahwa paparan materi tentang teknik pembuatan pola, alat dan bahan untuk pembuatan smock Jepang, disajikan dengan sangat jelas, sangat sistematis, menarik dengan tulisan yang dapat terbaca dengan sangat jelas.. Adapun dampak yang diperoleh mahasiswa dari diterapkannya multimedia video tutorial yaitu mahasiswa terlihat berminat, lebih termotivasi untuk belajar dan mengembangkan kreativitas serta lebih percaya diri dalam mempersentasikan hasil pekerjaannya. Dengan demikian implementasi multimedia video tutorial dalam pembelajaran smock Jepang ini pada mata kuliah Seni Sulaman, dapat mengoptimalkan pembelajaran serta meningkatkan kualitas hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Limbah sintetis (zat kimia) dari pewarnaan tekstil menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang masih dihadapi oleh masyarakat dan industri fesyen saat ini. peningkatan penggunaan pewarna sintetis menghasilkan limbah zat kimia berbahaya karena merupakan limbah yang paling sulit terurai pada pembuangan akhir yang berdampak pada kerusakan lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat. Sehingga beberapa industri fesyen mulai memanfaatkan ekstrak tumbuhan sebagai bahan utama penghasil warna tekstil dalam menciptakan produk fesyen. Bahan yang digunakan dalam proses pewarnaan adalah bahan alami sehingga dapat terurai dengan baik pada pembuangan akhir. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kegiatan kuisioner dan observasi lingkungan dan masyarakat melalui studi literatur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui proses pewarnaan alami yang diterapkan dalam produk fesyen. Dari hasil penelitian yang didapatkan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan pewarna alam merupakan salah satu hal positif bagi lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat. Didukung dengan semakin banyaknya industri fesyen yang mulai beralih menggunakan pewarna alam dalam produk yang mereka hasilkan, serta adanya nilai-nilai positif yang terkandung seperti nilai fungsional, estetika, serta nilai ramah lingkungan. sehingga hal ini mengingkatnya antusiasme serta ketertarikan masyarakat untuk dalam menggunakan busana casual dari pemanfaatan pewarna alami sebagai busana dalam kegiatan sehari-hari.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop party wear and find out the preferences of female consumers on H silhouette party dresses with 3D sequin decorations. This research is a Research & Development research. This study uses the 4D Thiagarajan development model, namely: define, design, development, and dissemination. The data collection method in this study was an online Google form questionnaire with 52 respondents. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics. The results of the study were: 1) The realization of an H-silhouette party dress made of satin and organza with 3D sequin decoration, 2) Consumer preference test for party dresses 90.4% were very interested in the 3D form of decoration on party clothes, 87.7% of respondents were interested in the placement decoration, 83% of respondents were interested in the choice of satin and organza, 82.7% of respondents were interested in the H silhouette of party dresses, and 81.5% of respondents were interested in the use of white bones in party dresses.

Abstract

In the midst of the current situation and technological developments, people are increasingly advanced and fast in accessing things. Ease of access brings a lot of influence in the polemic of people's lives. Cultural degradation is one of the real negative impacts felt by society when technology is more advanced, for example in the world of fashion is the fading interest in using Indonesian fabrics and traditional clothing in their daily activities, and people tend to use western inspired fashion with open clothes and strict, inversely proportional to the norms that exist in Indonesia. This introductory report for the final project takes the concept of creating a business whose products prioritize Indonesian clothing such as the kebaya to provide a forum for people to understand their own culture. The concept of designing this business will take the concept of creative space with digital marketing so that easy access is guaranteed, even though the traditional way of marketing still follows current market demands. The dynamics of clothing that occur in Indonesia provides an overview regarding how traditional clothing must be used as well as possible, the development of this business concept is not only to conventionalize kebaya and other clothing, but to participate in inviting the public to make Indonesian culture, especially in fashion, so that they are in demand again and restore their identity Indonesian self.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Fashion is one industry that offers freedom in expressing one’s identity. But along with the times, there are many shifts in meaning so that stereotypes are formed on several types of fashion. Some of the things that have changed are stereotypes regarding the use of clothing colors according to gender and the use of clothing and accessories according to age. Fashion is flexible, non-rigid and non-binding which means that stereotypes are created because of hereditary understanding that is even done since infancy instilled by parents. This inaccurate understanding is a concern for fashion lovers to be creative because of the fear of being rejected by their environment. Therefore, research was conducted on fashion that refers to gender, norms and age of a person as an understanding and knoeledge for the community so that there is no missinterpretation of the meaning and nature of fashion. Keyword : Fashion, Gender, Norms, Age ABSTRAK Fashion merupakan salah satu industri yang menawarkan kebebasan dalam mengekspresikan jati diri seseorang. Namun seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, banyak terjadi pergeseran makna sehingga terbentuk stereotip pada beberapa jenis fashion. Beberapa hal yang berubah ialah stereotip mengenai penggunaan warna busana sesuai dengan gender serta penggunaan busana dan aksesoris sesuai dengan usia. Fashion bersifat fleksibel, tidak kaku dan tidak mengikat yang berarti stereotip tersebut tercipta karena pemahaman turun temurun yang bahkan dilakukan sejak bayi yang ditanamkan oleh orang tua. Pemahaman yang kurang tepat tersebut menjadi kekhawatiran bagi para pecinta fashion untuk berkreasi karena adanya ketakutan jika mendapat penolakan dari lingkungannya. Oleh karena itu dilakukan penelitian terhadap fashion yang merujuk kepada gender, norma dan usia seseorang sebagai pemahaman dan ilmu bagi masyarakat agar tidak terjadi salah pengartian makna dan sifat fashion. Abstract

Ecodesign is a product design approach with special consideration on environmental influences during the entire decomposite process or circle of life. Through ecodesign, it is hoped that it can provide awareness, voice concern and urge the community to protect the environment and create a healthy living environment and increase creativity through the use of used material media. The utilization will be visualized into the form of women's clothing. Women's fashion created in the form of haute couture clothing based on wearable art. In the work created, the author tells about the natural conditions that are currently beautiful and will continue in the future through the depiction of women's clothing that resembles angels with waste as the basic material. The waste includes, glass and plastic bottle caps, used disks, food wrap, sponges as supporting materials. From the medium wants to display an aesthetic impression on the work by taking into account the composition of the placement of the medium, which is randomly generated so as to give rise to a dynamic impression, as it is known, aesthetics is the study of beauty, both in works of art and in natural beauty in general. On the basis of Plato's influence, some philosophers viewed beauty as an intrinsic quality contained in objects. By using aesthetic theory as the basis for creation, a work entitled “Angel Of Rubbish”. Keywords: Fashion, Eco design, Waste, Aesthetics
