Abstract

Belakangan ini muncul berbagai fenomena di masyarakat yang mengindikasikan adanya konflik di berbagai kalangan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan sehingga memberi kesan bangsa Indonesia sedang mengalami krisis etika dan identitas diri. Pendidikan karakter diharapkan menjadi alternatif solusi bagi perbaikan perilaku dan moral. Sementara dari beberapa laporan, siswa Indonesia memandang sulit untuk melakukan kegiatan bermatematika. Salah satu alternatif mengatasi kesulitan tersebut adalah melalui pembelajaran matematika berkarakter berbasis Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI)-Kontekstual menggunakan Lab Virtual dengan cara mengondisikan siswa belajar secara mengalami sendiri sesuai dengan kehidupan nyata sehari-hari (daily life) bukan menghafal dan siswa dapat mengembangkan potensi yang dimilikinya secara mandiri dan kreatif. Untuk hal itu, penulisan makalah ini ditujukan untuk mengembangkan dan mendesain model pembelajaran matematika berkarakter berbasis CAI-Kontekstual menggunakan Lab Virtual sebagai alternatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas karakter dan kemampuan siswa dalam bermatematik. Berdasarkan hasil kajian teori dan pembahasan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa melalui penerapan CAI-Kontekstual menggunakan Lab Virtual dalam pembelajaran matematika berkarakter di SD, diharapkan dapat: (1) mengatasi rendahnya kemampuan berpikir matematik siswa SD, (2) mengurangi kekurang efektifan model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru dalam memaksimalkan potensi yang ada dalam diri siswa SD, (3) meningkatkan pemahaman tentang fakta-fakta yang dipelajari, dan (4) terampil menerapkan matematika dalam pemecahan masalah kehidupan sehari-hari, dan (5) meningkatkan kualitas karakter siswa.

Abstract

Teacher daily observation show that students often do rowdy, seeking attention with do the bad something and difficult to control is a child of the broken home family. It is then encouraged to conduct research with the objectives to undertake a deeper case study on the influence of broken home family against the moral and psychosocial development of grade V students of SDN 1 Sumberbaru. The study used a qualitative approach with case study design. Participants in this study were chosen with purposive samples, so that two students from the fifth grade of SDN 1 Sumberbaru were M.J.S and M.K.L. The data analysis techniques use thematic analysis. Research results describe that broken home family have influenced on moral and psychosocial development of participants. It can be described as bad moral behavior that arises: make mistakes and do not want to apologize; often do not obey the school order; and seek attention by making noise during lesson hours. The behavior of his psychosocial development is the following: not the spirit of learning a new experience; the child is not confident; and often compare herself with friends.

Abstract

Problem solving is one of the objectives of learning mathematics. Not only for school students but also college student, especially PGSD students. The level of students' ability to solve problems can be seen using SOLO taxonomy. Using the SOLO taxonomy, the quality of students' answers to a problem can be analyzed based on the complexity of understanding. SOLO's taxonomy consists of 5 levels, namely (1) Pre-Structural Level, (2) Uni-Structural Level, (3) Multi-Structural Level, (4) Relational Level, (5) Expanded Abstract Level. This study uses qualitative research that describes the ability to solve the problem-solving linear inequality system of two variables in PGSD students using SOLO taxonomy. The results of this study indicate that the ability of PGSD students to solve problem solving problems varies. From the five SOLO taxonomic levels, there are PGSD students who meet levels 2 to 5, namely the Uni-Structural Level, Multi-Structural Level, Relational Level, Expanded Abstract Level. There are no students who meet level 1 in the SOLO taxonomy namely Pre-Structural Level.

Abstract

Education at junior high school level has an important role in shaping students' character and emotional development. One aspect that can influence emotional maturity is self-control. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between self-control and emotional maturity of class VIII students at SMPN 3. This type of research is quantitative research, this type of research is correlational. The subjects of this research were class VIII students of SMPN 3 TANGGUL for the 2023-2024 academic year. The instrument used was a self control and emotional maturity questionnaire. Data were analyzed using product moment correlation techniques. The research results show a positive correlation between emotional maturity and self-control of 3.272505. Meanwhile, the r table with degrees of freedom (df 108-2 106) at a significance level of 0.05 obtained a t table value of 1.65936. which means the correlation in the research is significant.

Abstract

This workshop was motivated by the potential of Wadungasri village where there is processing of Dimsum from catfish meat. The aim of this workshop is to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in elementary school students in preparing them to learn to become creative and innovative future entrepreneurs and implement it in P5 activities at school and instill character traits in students. Apart from that, students are taught to utilize the potential around them through economic activities (production, distribution and consumption). The data collection technique used is descriptive. It is hoped that the results of this workshop can instill character values in children, which are reflected in the product packaging, namely positive character when eating.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Flip Html 5-Based E-Module in online learning on the learning motivation of fifth grade elementary school students. Fifth grader students are one of the group of students of the negligent generation, which is a generation that is very close to technology. In online learning, the use of gadgets is a condition that is very suitable for the characteristics of this generation. The presence of e-modules that can be accessed from students' devices anywhere and anytime as a learning resource is one form of online learning innovation. This research is a quantitative research with an experimental form. The experimental design used is a posttest only control design. The research population is the fifth grader students of SDN Kepanjen 2 Jombang in the 2020/2021 academic year. The sample selection technique used random sampling, obtained by class VB and VC students as the research sample. The instrument used is an ARCS model of motivation questionnaire. The process of calculating the overall statistical data is carried out with the help of the IBM SPSS 26 application. The result is the Sig value. (2-tailed) P < 0.05 and the value of t count is greater than t table so that the research hypothesis Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. These results indicate that the E-Module based on Flip HTML 5 in online learning has an effect on the learning motivation of fifth grade elementary school students. The influence of the use of e-modules in online learning on students' learning motivation in elementary schools has implications for the need for teachers to increase the variety of various aspects of learning. Variations in online learning are not only in learning resources, but also in media, displays, and learning strategies.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of using simple media in knowing students' eye coordination through the throwing and catching baseball tests and hitting the dropped baseball tests. This research is a descriptive qualitative approach with a field trial survey method with a total of 27 students from class V SD Muhammadiyah 1 Panji. Data collection using instruments in the form of eye coordination measurement tests on each student in turn, students are given the opportunity to throw then catch the ball and hit the dropped ball 5 times. Based on the results of the research, it is known that the eye coordination ability through the throwing and catching ball test mostly has a very poor category with an average value of 2.40, while the results of the eye coordination test through the ball hitting baseball test have a very poor category with an average value of 1 ,6, therefore there is a need for special training that emphasizes the eye-hand coordination of students.

Abstract

Motor balance is one of the motor skills that need to be developed by children. Motor balance plays an important role in every activity. Elementary school age children are the age in motor development. Motor development is strongly influenced by the environment and activities that become habits of children. This study aims to determine the form of student activity that can support body balance. The sample in this study was the fifth grade students of SD Berlian with a total of 6 students with a total of 22 students. The average score of students is 84.2. From the results of interviews regarding aspects of light, moderate and heavy physical activity, 5 students tend to do strenuous activities at home.

Abstract

The use of innovative learning media is still especially in elementary school (SD). This will address the problem in Social Science (IPS) which until now still assumed as a tedious lesson and demands memorization, as well as less material in accordance with the development of society again. The solution is to develop Digital Storytelling or known in the Indonesian language as a digital fairy tale. The use of Digital Storytelling for IPS in elementary school, which is one of the objectives is to develop affective aspects of students, will give the meaning that IPS as a subject that is able to improve students' feelings about acceptance, response, assessment, and character development. For students, Digital Storytelling will attract attention so that will be more motivated to learn IPS. Students need to be trained as early as possible in the future to be able to have a high understanding and empathy in facing social problems in their environment.

Abstract

Creativity is one of the characteristics of children's growth and development in the cognitive realm. Creativity is very important to be developed from an early age because this ability is a provision to solve problems in everyday life. One way to improve and develop children's creativity is to play traditional games. This study aims to explore information about stimulating children's creativity through traditional games. This research is in the form of a literature review with secondary sources in the form of books, journals, and other relevant sources. The results showed that traditional games that can stimulate children's creativity include 1) gobag sodor, 2) congklak, and 3) painting.
