Abstract

Currently, teachers must have the skills to create HOTS-based questions because the government, through the revised edition of the 2013 curriculum policy, states that the taxonomy of thinking is taught at all levels of education. The aim of creating HOTS-based questions is to prepare students to have logical, critical and creative thinking qualifications that are able to foster reasoning processes based on the complexity of dynamic changes in society. The process of creating HOTS-based questions is: 1) determining the goal of the questions to be achieved by students, which consists of: a) the ability to search and study information, b) connecting various information relationships, and c) applying information to solve problems, 2) creating questions that are able to develop students' reasoning abilities, which consist of various activities, namely: a) exploring, b) analyzing, c) synthesizing, d) evaluating, e) developing reasoning abilities when obtaining information, and f) critical thinking

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of Discovery Learning-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) on students' scientific literacy abilities. The type of research used is a pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest. Data collection was carried out by testing students' literacy abilities. The test instrument was prepared by emphasizing three aspects of scientific literacy, namely concepts, processes, and scientific context. The research sample was students of PGSD STKIPAL Hikmah Surabaya. Hypothesis testing was carried out using a paired sample t-test assisted by the SPSS program. The swimmer test carried out was a normality test using the Shapiro-Wilk test. The research results show that Discovery Learning-based LKPD has an effect on students' scientific literacy abilities. The research results show that aspects of learning, such as learning models, learning resources, and the existence of LKPD, can influence students' scientific literacy abilities

Abstract

Geometry is one of the main materials for learning mathematics in elementary schools. So that students as prospective elementary school teachers should have mastered the concept of geometry. In addition, prospective elementary school teacher students should also know the level of students' geometric thinking. The goal, before the teacher knows the level of thinking of students, he should know the level of geometric thinking he has. The reference used in looking at the geometric thinking level is the Van Hiele thinking level. This study aims to identify the leveling of the geometric thinking stage of elementary school teacher students using the Van Hiele thinking level. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research. A written test questionnaire from the Van Hiele Geometry Test (VHGT) was used as an instrument in this study. The results showed that the geometric thinking level of prospective elementary school teacher students only reached level 1 or the introduction level

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve learning outcomes in the Pancasila Education subject with diversity material in Surabaya at SDN Karah 1/411 Surabaya. This classroom action research was carried out collaboratively and carried out in 2 cycles. The research began by conducting a pre-cycle, namely a diagnostic test of students' initial abilities and identifying material diversity that existed in Surabaya. Next, cycle 1 which includes a) planning which includes preparing teaching modules, teaching materials, observation sheets, LKPD and assessments, b) action, c) observation and d) reflection. The researcher reflects on the activities that have been carried out to determine the weaknesses and strengths in cycle 1 which will be used as reference material to formulate problems that will be corrected in cycle II. The research results show that there is an increase in cognitive learning outcomes in color mixing material. In the classical learning results of cycle 1, the percentage was 61.85%. In cycle II there was an increase, namely by obtaining a percentage of 88.15% above the KKM. Based on the research results, cognitive learning outcomes in diversity material in Surabaya with the help of genially media can be stated to have increased

Abstract

This research aims to integrate Islamic values ​​to build the character profile of Pancasila students in elementary schools. The method used in this research uses a library research method or approach. The results of this research show that the Pancasila student profile is one of the policies that supports the realization of national education goals and the continuation of character strengthening programs. The Pancasila student profile is the character and competency that Indonesian students must have. Through the application of the 6 dimensions of the Pancasila student profile, namely faith and devotion to God Almighty, global diversity, independence, mutual cooperation, critical thinking and creativity, it is hoped that the Indonesian nation will become intelligent individuals who have character and of course instill the values ​​contained in Pancasila. Abstract

The aim of the research using this method is to improve and improve student learning outcomes through the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model in class 1 Pancasila Education subjects. This research uses classroom action research (PTK), where this research method provides direct action in in class. Based on the results of research and discussions regarding improving student learning outcomes using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model, it can be concluded that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model can improve Pancasila Education learning outcomes for class 1 students at SDN Jemur Wonosari I/417 Surabaya. This is proven from the data that has been obtained, namely in cycle I as many as 16 students completed their learning with a score of 57%. Meanwhile, there were 12 students who did not complete with a score of 43%. Meanwhile, in cycle II, 22 students completed their studies with a score of 78%. Meanwhile, there were 6 students who did not complete with a score of 22%.

Abstract

Based on the results of the initial data analysis in the research, several problems were found, including a lack of student activity in asking questions, teachers needing tools in social studies lessons, a lack of variety in learning models, students tend to get bored because teachers only use the lecture method which in the end students' scores are still below the KKM score. This research aims to find the influence of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model based on Bowling and Card Games on the social studies learning outcomes of class V MI NU 01 Prupuk Selatan. This research is experimental. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with experimental methods and a quasi-experimental design using The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group. Data analysis techniques use validity, reliability, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and simple regression tests. The results of the research show that there is an influence of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model based on bowling and cards on the social studies learning outcomes of class V MI NU 01 Prupuk Selatan. The resulting influence is 54.20%

Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia perlu ditingkatkan seiring dengan berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Salah satu peningkatan ini dapat dilakukan melalui peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Kegiatan pembelajaran yang berkualitas harus berpusat pada siswa sebagai subjek pembelajarannya. Guru sangat berperan untuk mengembangkan potensi, kreativitas, memotivasi siswa dalam membangun kemauan serta memberikan keteladanan. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan seorang guru dapat digunakan sebagai panduan dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga menjadi terarah  dengan kompetensi yang akan dicapai. Pembelajaran berbasis sosiokultural menekankan bahwa lingkungan sosial dapat membantu proses pembelajarannya. Masyarakat dan budaya merupakan sumber ilmu dalam penerapan teori ini. Interaksi sosial dari siswa baik di lingkungan sekolah maupun masyarakat sangat penting guna membangun kerjasama sebagai suatu proses pengembangan diri.. Pembelajaran pada tema lingkungan bersih, sehat, dan asri tidak terlepas dari nilai-nilai sosiokultural dan lingkungannya. Dengan demikian proses pembelajarannya akan mengkonstruksi pengetahuan secara bersama-sama antara semua pihak yang terlibat di dalamnya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the influence of the make a match learning model compared with expository learning models on the understanding of students' social science concepts. This research uses quasi-experimental research with pretest - posttest control group design. The subjects in this study were students at Tanggul Rejo 2 Public Elementary School in Marabahan District, consisting of class V A totaling 20 students as experimental class and 22 students of class V B as control class in semester II of the academic year 2017/2018. The selection of the experimental class and the control class based on the characteristics of students that are almost the same, by random method. The random results of class V A were selected as the experimental class using the make a match learning model and class V B as the control class using the expository learning model. The data analysis technique used independent sample t-test and paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS 23 for Windows. The results showed that the make a match learning model had a more significant effect than the expository learning model on the understanding of the social studies concept of students in SDN Tanggul Rejo 2 with a significance value of 0,000 <0.05. Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengaruh model pembelajaran make a match dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran ekspositori terhadap pemahaman konsep IPS peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan eksperimen semu (quasi-eksperimental research) dengan desain pretest ? posttest control group design. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik SDN Tanggul Rejo 2 Kabupaten Marabahan, terdiri dari kelas V A berjumlah 20 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 22 peserta didik kelas V B sebagai kelas kontrol pada semester II tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Pemilihan kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol berdasarkan karakteristik peserta didik yang hampir sama, dengan cara random. Hasil random terpilih kelas V A sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran make a match dan kelas V B sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji independent sample t-test dan paired sample t-test dengan bantuan program SPSS 23 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran make a match berpengaruh lebih signifikan dibandingkan model pembelajaran ekspositori terhadap pemahaman konsep IPS peserta didik di SDN Tanggul Rejo 2 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05.

Abstract

This development research aims to be able to produce textbooks using 4D models for prospective elementary teacher students by emphasizing the results of analysis of elementary students' thinking and character education based. In addition, this study aims to determine the appropriateness of numerical logic textbooks through analysis of elementary school students' thinking. The development model used was adapted from the 4D development model with four stages namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data collection and analysis techniques used are documentation to obtain data related to textbooks, observations in analyzing the thinking flow of elementary school students and also during trials, as well as the results of validation from material and language experts. The results of the development showed that the feasibility of material and language obtained an average score of 3.88 with the Good category so that the textbook was declared valid and could be used in lectures. While the limited trial results obtained an average score of 4.3 in the category of very practice and in the final trial the average score of 4.2 obtained in the category of very practice. Abstrak: Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk dapat menghasilkan buku ajar menggunakan model 4D untuk mahasiswa calon guru SD dengan menitikberatkan pada hasil analisis berpikir siswa SD dan berbasis pendidikan karakter. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penilaian kelayakan buku ajar logika berhitung melalui analisis berpikir siswa SD. Model pengembangan yang digunakan diadaptasi dari model pengembangan 4D dengan empat tahapan yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Teknik pengumpulan dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi untuk memperoleh data terkait buku ajar, observasi dalam melakukan analisis alur berpikir siswa SD dan juga saat uji coba, serta hasil validasi dari ahli materi dan bahasa. Hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa kelayakan materi dan bahasa diperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 3,88 dengan kategori Baik sehingga buku ajar tersebut dinyatakan valid dan dapat digunakan dalam perkuliahan. Sedangkan hasil uji coba terbatas diperoleh rerata skor 4,3 dengan kategori sangat praktis dan pada uji coba akhir diperoleh rerata skor 4,2 dengan kategori sangat praktis.
