Abstract

This study examines the effects of Green Intellectual Capital (GIC), Green Leadership (GL), and Strategic Leadership Capabilities (SLC) on Competitive Advantage (CA), and whether Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO) strengthens these effects. Data were collected through an online structured questionnaire from 163 professionals in environmentally oriented organizations using purposive sampling. The proposed model was tested using partial least squares structural equation modeling with reliability and validity checks, followed by hypothesis and interaction-effect testing. The results indicate that GIC, GL, and SLC have significant positive effect on CA. EO also significantly strengthens the effects of GIC, GL, and SLC on CA, suggesting that firms with stronger entrepreneurial orientation gain greater competitive returns from green intangible resources and leadership capabilities. This study offers managerial implications for enhancing competitiveness through targeted investments in green capabilities and entrepreneurial culture. Limitations include the single-country setting and cross-sectional survey design; therefore, future research should adopt longitudinal and multi-country designs, incorporate multi-source data, and explore additional mediating or moderating variables to provide deeper insights into the dynamic mechanisms linking green capabilities to competitive advantage.

Abstract

The e-commerce business in Indonesia is very competitive, with market share positions frequently changing. In a competitive market, market leaders' positions fluctuate quickly, as Tokopedia discovered. This study aimed to determine whether brand image, product quality, consumer attitudes, and promotions influence purchase decisions as mediating variables on repurchase intention on the Tokopedia marketplace. The present study is a quantitative study that used a causal study approach with Tokopedia e-commerce users. The findings of this study show that all hypotheses are accepted, implying that brand image, product quality, consumer attitudes, and promotions influence purchase decisions and consumer repurchase intentions.

Abstract

The rapid development of Indonesia’s electric vehicle (EV) industry has increased the importance of understanding consumer behavior in the adoption process. This study examines behavioral factors associated with EV adoption in Indonesia through a qualitative thematic analysis of secondary data, including academic literature, policy documents, industry reports, and institutional publications, complemented by expert validation. The analysis identifies five recurring themes: perceived benefits, perceived risks, social influence, brand trust, and incentives. The findings suggest that Indonesian consumers primarily evaluate EVs based on operational efficiency, ownership costs, convenience, and perceived value, while concerns regarding affordability, charging infrastructure, technological reliability, and resale value continue to constrain adoption. By synthesizing evidence from diverse sources, this study provides a context-specific understanding of behavioral considerations relevant to Indonesia’s transition toward sustainable mobility.

Abstract

This study investigates how digital marketing influences the political preferences and engagement of Gen Z voters in Batam City, utilizing Trust as a mediating factor. Employing a quantitative methodology, the research analyzed 304 Gen Z participants selected via purposive sampling using Smart PLS software. The framework evaluates variables such as Social Media Marketing, Influencer Marketing, Advertising, Trust, and the final Voting Decision. The results demonstrate that digital marketing channels significantly bolster Trust, which subsequently drives voting behavior. Furthermore, Trust acts as a vital bridge between online promotional efforts and political choices, suggesting that candidates must prioritize building digital credibility to successfully convert online engagement into offline votes.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the implementation of Muhammadiyah values on the financial management performance of a cafeteria operating at PKU (Pembina Kesejahteraan Umat) Muhammadiyah Gombong. The cafeteria operates as a tenant within the PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong environment and is not formally classified as a Muhammadiyah Charitable Enterprise (Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah/AUM). This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 60 respondents who were directly involved in financial management activities. Data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests—including normality and Glejser heteroscedasticity tests—and simple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS statistical software. The results indicate that the implementation of Muhammadiyah values has a positive and significant effect on financial management performance, with a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05) and a regression coefficient of 0.672. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.54, indicating that Muhammadiyah values explain 54% of the variation in financial management performance. These findings suggest that values such as amanah (trustworthiness), transparency, accountability, professionalism, and sincerity contribute substantially to improving financial management practices. This study concludes that the implementation of Muhammadiyah values can serve as an effective strategy for strengthening transparent, accountable, and sustainable financial management in business units operating within Muhammadiyah institutions, particularly cafeterias functioning as tenants in the PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong environment. Abstract

Public concern about environmental sustainability has increasingly shaped consumer behavior, especially as buyers evaluate products based on their ecological consequences. This study examines the factors that determine Green Purchase Decision among IKEA consumers in the Jabodetabek area. The predictors analysed are Environmental Concern, Green Perceived Benefit, Green Perceived Quality, Green Price Awareness, Green Purchase Willingness, and Future Green Estimation. A quantitative survey was conducted with 273 IKEA customers selected through purposive sampling, and the data were analysed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that Environmental Concern, Green Perceived Quality, Green Purchase Willingness, and Future Green Estimation have positive and significant effects on Green Purchase Decision. Conversely, Green Perceived Benefit and Green Price Awareness do not significantly affect Green Purchase Decision. These findings suggest that sustainability communication, environmental education, and consumer engagement should be strengthened to increase environmental concern and willingness to purchase green products.

Abstract

The development of electric vehicles (EVs) in Indonesia is increasing, in line with the government's commitment to encouraging the transition to environmentally friendly transportation. However, the adoption rate of electric vehicles still faces various challenges that prevent people from having optimal purchase intentions. This study aims to analyze the influence of security, quality, perceived usefulness, and anticipated regret on trust and its impact on intention to buy electric vehicles in Indonesia. Trust is positioned as a mediating variable that bridges the relationship between independent variables and electric vehicle purchase intentions. This study uses a quantitative approach, employing a survey of 207 Indonesian respondents domiciled in Batam and possessing knowledge of or exposure to electric vehicles. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4. The results show that Trust has a strong positive effect on the intention to buy electric vehicles (β = 0.635) and significantly mediates the effects of all four antecedent variables on purchase intention. The findings provide a theoretical contribution to the development of consumer behavior literature and technology adoption literature and offer practical implications for electric vehicle manufacturers and the government in increasing public trust in electric vehicles.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of pesantrenpreneurs as agents of economic transformation based on Islamic values and to construct a model of social entrepreneurship within the pesantren environment. The study employs a qualitative approach using a case study design at the Darussalam Blokagung Pesantren in Banyuwangi. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, involving administrators, business managers, students, and stakeholders selected through purposive and snowball sampling. The results reveal four main themes: the internalization of Islamic values in entrepreneurship, the role of students as agents of change, a business model based on social impact, and the limitations of measuring social impact. The findings indicate that pesantrenpreneurs are capable of integrating spiritual, educational, and economic dimensions in a sustainable manner, although they are not yet supported by an evaluation system such as SROI. This study contributes to the development of Islamic social entrepreneurship and provides practical implications for strengthening business models and social impact evaluation in Islamic boarding schools.
