Abstract

The fundamental dialectical theory of the Berger model claims that humans are a product of society and society is a human product, so both require interaction and dialectics to influence each other in social life. Until the scope of the rite, each human is a judge to have a specific social function, if he has the influence to regulate, maintain, and transmit sentiments from one generation to another. In other words, humans will always express their existence through artificial things and a sign for each human being to have connectivity with each other. Even if it reviewed historically, it is not necessarily born from the Islamic body ideologically. How much authorization of tangible symbols on religious practices in the Islamic paradigm? Are material symbols in spiritual practices limited to the manifestation of human creativity or sacred things that cannot contest? This scroll will continue until there is a discussion about it.

Abstract

The use of Antibiotics Growth Promoters (AGP) was once a reliance for Broiler farms that aim to improve immunity as well as trigger the growth of broiler. It turned out that the use of AGP elicit a variety of very harmful impacts on human’s health, the presence of residues of antibiotics in broiler meat will reduce resistance of humans who consume them to some types of antibiotics even antibiotics that are prepared to handle the case of multi-resistant bacteria, namely the presence of antibiotic residues in broiler meat that will reduce the resistance of humans who consume them. So no longer impervious to some antibiotics even antibiotics that are prepared to handle the case of multi-resistant bacteria. This has become a limiting factor for the community, especially Muslims who are required to consume foods that are not only halal but bring benefits and do not contain harmful substances as admonitions in the Quran and hadith. This reality requires options to solve problems and answer real problems in people's lives wisely and contextually. Although AGP is required by the broiler, but based on many research results have shown that its role can be substituted with the addition of feed additives such as probiotics, enzymes and herbs as feed quality improvement efforts, included the implementation of biosecurity which must be carried out in an integrated manner. Broiler farms that implement good industry management has proved able to guarantee the availability of broiler as a source of animal protein is Safe, Healthy, and Whole Halal (in the Indonesian acronym is ASUH) and has a wide market share. This context be in accordance to the conception of food safety in Islam, food safety from the Islamic normative context namely halal and food safety from the health aspect, namely Thayyib. This paper responds to the issue of food safety which has been a fidgetiness for all stratums of Muslim society, whereas the ASUH food source is one of the fulfilments of the main points of the Maqasid al-Shari'ah or the general objective stipulated in Islamic law, namely to realize goodness, provide benefits and avoid damage to humans.

Abstract

The learning model used by teachers does not vary, resulting in the activeness and independence of students in learning is reduced. Therefore, a new learning model needs to be developed that stimulate the activeness and independence of students, namely the discussion learning model and personal investigation. This research used a Research and Development (R&D) approach. Researchers were focused on developing discussion learning models and personal investigations to be able developing a new learning model that can be applied in learning with clear steps according to scientific rules. The results of research were as follows: (1) students were more active in learning, (2) students no longer rely on friends when there are assignments or discussions, (3) problems that occur in learning can be analyzed by students easily, (4) Models could help foster a sense of responsibility in each student, especially responsibilities as a group member, (5) the learning process in the class was more enjoyable. Based on the analysis of research results and discussions, it can be concluded that the development of discussion learning models and personal investigations that have been implemented in sociology learning has a positive impact both for students and teachers. Abstract

The present era is the most astonishing from a developmental point of view. People across the globe are impressed by the latest developments and, more particularly, by genetic engineering. From the academic point of view, debates are organized on religion and science. Intellectuals are trying to prove their stands in their respective fields. Religious scholars put their efforts to establish their stand as the most applicable in the present era. A good number of modern scholars like Keith Moore, Maurice Bucaille, etc. also supported some religious facts mentioned in religious books, mainly in the Quran related to embryology. Among the most debate table issues is the concept of human development in the Quran and gave rise to a comparative study between religion and science again. In this manuscript, an analytical approach is applied to find the compatibility of Qur’anic embryology and modern embryology to pinnacle and galvanize Qur’anic modern attitude.

Abstract

Riba is a part of economic activity that has been developing since the era of jahiliyah until now. This interest-based lending and borrowing system is very beneficial for capital owners and on the other hand has plunged the poor into destitution. Therefore, Islam prohibits the practice of riba and fosters the shadaqah tradition so that no one is persecuted due to riba. The issue of the similarity between the practice of riba and usury which is forbidden in the Qur'an and the hadith is difficult to refute when viewed from the size of the harm it causes. However, the understanding of the Muslim community towards the concept of riba and its equality is not evenly distributed, so that many Muslims still converge with conventional banks that use the interest system in all aspects of their lives, including in collecting funds for the pilgrimage. Therefore, the author will describe the meaning of riba, the types of practice in today's life by using an approach and analysis of the sources of Islamic teachings.

Abstract

COVID-19 has wreaked havoc all across the globe, whether it be through the  rising number of cases, deaths, lockdowns, economic slowdown or just the media induced panic. In this sense we are all affected by the 'virus'. As the world grapples with this pandemic, there is a notable resonance with the past, especially between the global defense against the pandemic and the great medical  innovations of the Islamic golden age. During the Islamic scientific revolution, Muslims became pioneers in the field of medical science. Inspired by the Quran and the various Hadith that consider the science of healing a sacred endeavor, Muslims made ground breaking discoveries in different areas of medicine like anatomy, pharmacology, physiology, surgery, epidemiology and so on. These contributions led to the significant growth in the field of medical science and its various branches and went on to influence the modern medical revolution. In the present survey an effort is made to discuss the historical roots of the global medical response and measures made to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and the various significant contributions of Medieval Muslim scientists in this field.

Abstract

What is the matter of creation of human? This question has been addressed since long back in the history from ancient Indian and Egyptian civilizations to the Greeks and until the advent of modern sciences. The answers to this question were varying and led to various ideologies about the paternity of the newborn and the role and importance of women in society. More or less the concept was that the human is formed from the male semen and female menstrual blood where semen is the actual matter of formation and the part of the female is just to nourish and nurture; until it is proved by the modern science that both male and female gametes equally take part in the formation of the embryo. However, the Islamic Holy Scripture, the Quran, and the narrations from Islamic prophet (PBUH) and the descriptions of the Islamic scholars stand in opposition to these concepts and have a stunning correlation with the modern scientific descriptions of the embryology.

Abstract

Education character has become an important issue in the world of education lately, with the increasing and varied phenomena of moral decadence occurring in society and in government circles, especially among students. The government pays less attention to fostering education character. The government is more focused on continuous curriculum reform. This condition will get worse if the government, parents and schools or madrasah receive less serious attention. Sufistic education character is an important approach to be applied to overcome these moral decadency phenomena. Therefore, this study aims to provide alternative solutions in realizing children's education character both in the family environment, school environment and social environment. In addition, in this study the author offers several concepts of education character with the Sufistic character of al-Ghazali as in the book of Mohajul Abidin: first, preserving the eyes. Second, maintain the ears. Third, take care of the mouth. Fourth, maintain the stomach. Keywords: Biography of Al-Ghazali, Sufistic Education character in the book Minhajul Abidin
