Abstract

The purpose of this study is; 1) to find and describe community motivation in developing formal Islamic education, 2) describe and analyze the form and type of development of formal Islamic education in Aimas, Sorong Regency. The method of this research is qualitative research with the approach used is the phenomenology approach and the scientific approach in the form of sociological and historical. The data sources of this study are community leaders, coaches, mentors, educators, students, and the community. Furthermore, the data collection methods used were observation, interviews, documentation, and triangulation. The next step is data processing techniques and data analysis carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study indicate that there are two important factors that motivate the development of formal Islamic education in the Aimas transmigrant community in Sorong Regency, namely: 1) low religious understanding, 2) economy. There are three forms of developing formal Islamic education. First, Early Childhood Education (PAUD) in the form of Raudhatul Athfal (RA). Second, Basic Education takes the form of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) and Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs). Third, Secondary Education in the form of Madrasah Aliyah (MA).

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students of class VIII MTs Al-Akbar Sorong City on Jurisprudence subjects caused by Jurisprudence teachers in presenting subject matter which is sometimes monotonous. Teachers are more likely to use the lecture method in learning so as to make students bored. Therefore the researcher chose one of the Articulation learning methods to improve student learning outcomes. This method uses a chain message delivery system, which is from the teacher to students and is passed from one student to another student. This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Jurisprudence subjects using Articating learning methods for students of class VIII MTs Al-Akbar Sorong City. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The subject was students in class VIII MTs Al-Akbar Sorong City in the odd semester of 2016/2017 academic year totaling 38 people. This research was conducted in 2 cycles, namely the first cycle and the second cycle carried out as many as 4 meetings. Data retrieval is done by using test results of learning and observation. The collected data is analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Quantitative data is calculated using the SPSS 16.0 formula. The results obtained after the action are given, namely: (1) the activeness of students during the learning process in class has increased, (2) in the first cycle the average score of student learning outcomes tests on Jurisprudence subjects between the first and second meetings in the first cycle is 62, 89% and 74.47% and in the second cycle, the average test score of student learning outcomes in fiqh subjects has increased ie, 80.79% and 94.34%. From the results of this study, in general, it can be concluded that an increase in student learning outcomes in the subjects of Jurisprudence VIII MTs Al-Akbar Sorong after applying the Articulation method

Abstract

The role of the teacher as one of the components in the school that regulates the profession that plays a role in the teaching and learning process. The key to the success of schools in achieving educational goals in schools is in the hands of the teacher, he has a role in the process of growth, knowledge, skills, intelligence and attitudes and outlook on student life. Praiseworthy is something good that a person has. Being praiseworthy is a sign of the perfection of one's faith in God, Akhlakul karimah replaces praiseworthy qualities, the virtues of the virtue of the virtues that connect a person with tawadu, obedience, qana'ah, trust, and patience. The real role of the teacher lies only in the delivery material and the teacher who can be applied in accordance with what is intended for students, with students who are expected to be able to support and do what has been exemplified by the teacher. From these statements, the formulation of the problem taken by the researcher is about the role of the teacher in implementing the learning of commendable traits in grade VIII students of SMPN 03 Kab. Sorong and inhibiting factors for teachers in implementing learning of commendable nature in class VIII students of SMPN 03 Kab. Sorong. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, while the data collection techniques that researchers use are observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique is done by observation, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The role of PAI teacher in implementing the commendable learning in the allowance with various habituation to draw character and commendable traits to students such as Dzuhur prayer in congregation, reading the Qur'an before starting learning, praying and much more so that it can be praiseworthy that is sought after by students only applied in the school environment but at home and in the community.

Abstract

Penggunaan naskah Khotbah Gulung merupakan tradisi yang diwariskan oleh para leluhur masyarakat di Kampung Lilinta Distrik Misool Barat Kepulauan Raja Ampat, Namun demikian masyarakat tidak memahami isi yang terkandung dalam naskah tersebut akibat tidak adanya masyarakat yang mampu menterjemahkan naskah tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Kualitatif Deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode analisis ASOCA dalam penjabarannya. Hasil penelitian: peneliti melakukan penterjemahan naskah Khotbah Gulung dari bahasa Arab ke dalam bahasa Indonesia, selanjutnya mencetak ke dalam buku terjemahan dan menyerahkannya pada masyarakat Kampung Lilinta. Kemudian dilakukan evaluasi terhadap penggunaan naskah Khotbah Gulung tersebut dalam kehidupan masyarakat sehari-hari dalam meningkatkan ketaqwan kepada Allah Subhanahu wa ta ala melalui kegiatan-kegiatan berkelanjutan seperti Desa Binaan dan Kuliah Kerja Nyata di Kampung Lilinta Distrik Misool Barat Kepulauan Raja Ampat.

Abstract

Various efforts have been made by the leadership of Islamic Higher Education institutions to prevent the infiltration of radical ideologies on their campuses. These efforts range from internalizing religious moderation to monitoring deviant student organizations, both of which have been intensively pursued by institutional leaders. However, since the declaration of these initiatives, there has been no empirical evaluation to assess whether students in Islamic Higher Education, particularly in Papua and West Papua, have a proper understanding of the concept of moderate Islam. This gap could hinder policymakers' ability to effectively combat the spread of radical ideas. This study employs a mixed-method approach, surveying 1,309 students from three Islamic Higher Education institutions in West Papua: IAIN Sorong, STIT Yapis Manokwari, and STAI Al Mahdi Fakfak. The quantitative component consists of surveys designed to evaluate key indicators of religious moderation, including tolerance, anti-violence attitudes, and national commitment—critical factors that influence pro-violent extremism views in Islamic Higher Education. Additionally, qualitative studies were conducted through focus group discussions with selected key informants to gain deeper insight into the students' understanding, actions, and efforts to build moderation capacity. The study’s findings revealed that, although students' knowledge of religious moderation is relatively high, the factors of tolerance and anti-violence attitudes are strong predictors of pro-violent extremism. Therefore, it is essential to strengthen the role of "moderation houses" from an institutional perspective, and integrated programs must serve as the foundation for building religious moderation capacity, particularly for students in Islamic Higher Education.

Abstract

The use of Antibiotics Growth Promoters (AGP) was once a reliance for Broiler farms that aim to improve immunity as well as trigger the growth of broiler. It turned out that the use of AGP elicit a variety of very harmful impacts on human’s health, the presence of residues of antibiotics in broiler meat will reduce resistance of humans who consume them to some types of antibiotics even antibiotics that are prepared to handle the case of multi-resistant bacteria, namely the presence of antibiotic residues in broiler meat that will reduce the resistance of humans who consume them. So no longer impervious to some antibiotics even antibiotics that are prepared to handle the case of multi-resistant bacteria. This has become a limiting factor for the community, especially Muslims who are required to consume foods that are not only halal but bring benefits and do not contain harmful substances as admonitions in the Quran and hadith. This reality requires options to solve problems and answer real problems in people's lives wisely and contextually. Although AGP is required by the broiler, but based on many research results have shown that its role can be substituted with the addition of feed additives such as probiotics, enzymes and herbs as feed quality improvement efforts, included the implementation of biosecurity which must be carried out in an integrated manner. Broiler farms that implement good industry management has proved able to guarantee the availability of broiler as a source of animal protein is Safe, Healthy, and Whole Halal (in the Indonesian acronym is ASUH) and has a wide market share. This context be in accordance to the conception of food safety in Islam, food safety from the Islamic normative context namely halal and food safety from the health aspect, namely Thayyib. This paper responds to the issue of food safety which has been a fidgetiness for all stratums of Muslim society, whereas the ASUH food source is one of the fulfilments of the main points of the Maqasid al-Shari'ah or the general objective stipulated in Islamic law, namely to realize goodness, provide benefits and avoid damage to humans.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna, proses, dan dampak pelantikan Muslimat Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Kota Sorong dalam konteks pluralisme agama dan budaya di Papua Barat Daya. Melalui metode studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pelantikan Muslimat NU memiliki peran strategis dalam memperkuat nilai-nilai toleransi dan kerukunan umat beragama. Proses pelantikan yang melibatkan berbagai tokoh agama dan masyarakat menunjukkan komitmen bersama untuk menjaga harmoni sosial. Namun demikian, penelitian ini juga mengungkap beberapa tantangan yang dihadapi Muslimat NU, seperti terbatasnya sumber daya dan kompleksitas dinamika sosial politik. Hasil penelitian ini memiliki implikasi yang penting bagi pengembangan kebijakan pemerintah di bidang keagamaan dan pemberdayaan perempuan

Abstract

Kunjungan ke panti asuhan merupakan bentuk kegiatan sosial untuk menanamkan nilai kepedulian terhadap sesama dan memberikan motivasi kepada anak-anak panti asuhan. Artikel ini mengulas pentingnya kegiatan sosialisasi dalam membangun karakter positif, baik bagi peserta kegiatan maupun anak-anak panti asuhan. Sosialisasi dilakukan melalui berbagai kegiatan interaktif seperti berbagi cerita, permainan edukatif, dan pemberian bantuan kebutuhan pokok. Hasil kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mempererat rasa empati, meningkatkan motivasi anak-anak panti asuhan, dan membangun kesadaran kolektif akan pentingnya peran sosial.

Abstract

The objectives of this scientific research are: 1) To describe teachers' teaching strategies in building students' spiritual intelligence at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah, Fakfak Regency, West Papua. 2) To describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing teachers’ teaching strategies in building students' spiritual intelligence at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Fakfak Regency, West Papua. 3) To describe the impact of teachers' teaching strategies in forming students' spiritual intelligence at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah, Fakfak Regency, West Papua. This research applied descriptive a qualitative method. Primary data sources are class teachers, Islamic Education teachers, and Tahfiz Qur'an teachers for grades V and VI. Data collection methods are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were processed and analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results show that: 1) Teacher teaching strategies in building students' spiritual intelligence are: a) Learning methods, b) Memorizing (Tahfiz) al-Qur'an, c) Islamic education methods, d) Extracurricular activities, e) Action social fundraising and joint prayer for Palestine.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the process of implementing Islamic religious education teachers' strategies in improving student achievement in class V Islamic religious education subjects at Bintuni Integrated Elementary School, analyzing supporting and inhibiting factors, and analyzing the impact of implementing Islamic religious education teachers' strategies in improving student achievement. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The primary data source is the Islamic Education Teacher as the main informant and additional informants: the school principal, class teachers, student affairs and students. Secondary data sources: books, magazines, internet, reports and documentation. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis processing techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that: the strategy of Islamic religious education teachers in improving student achievement in class V Islamic religious education subjects by implementing the Quantum Teaching learning model in accordance with the four teacher learning strategies: identifying and determining student indicators, choosing teaching and learning strategies, choosing KBM procedures, and minimum KBM learning criteria. The duties of teachers are; pedagogical duties, professional duties, personal duties, social duties. Supporting factors are: teachers, student awareness, and family. Inhibiting factors are: Infrastructure suggestions, religious diversity, influence of globalization, time limitations, honorary teachers. The results' impacts are that the Quantum Teaching learning strategy is in accordance with the students' themes, needs and situations. The results of this learning strategy have a positive impact on the learning process and outcomes of Bintuni Integrated Elementary School students.
