Abstract

The research aims to describe how Instagram @infobnn_kota_samarinda is used in socializing the P4GN Program in Samarinda City using a research focus based on four criteria in the Media Wealth Theory by Daft and Lengel, namely: 1) Immediacy; 2) Cue Diversity; 3) Language Variations; and 4) Personal Sources. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method by analyzing data in oral and written form, as well as in the form of images or photos, which are collected through observation, interviews and documentation, so that discoveries and in-depth understanding can be obtained to answer the research problem formulation. The results of this research are that the use of Instagram @infobnn_kota_samarinda has met the four criteria in Media Richness Theory, namely that Instagram social media can provide immediate feedback, provide a variety of verbal and non-verbal signals, language variations to increase audience understanding, and convey messages that can meet information needs and is able to influence the feelings and emotions of the audience. However, there were findings on the Immediacy criteria that there was a delay in Promptly providing the latest information and minimal interaction was provided because Instagram @infobnn_kota_samarinda was less active in replying to Instagram users' comments.

Abstract

The development of technology, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, has changed the patterns of community activities, encouraging a shift to remote activities through the internet and social media. Although it provides convenience, the increasing use of the internet also has negative consequences, especially related to the phenomenon of online gender-based violence (KBGO). This study refers to the implementation of the P.O.S.T. (people, objectives, strategy, and technology) stages in the Friendly School program to socialize the dangers of KBGO in SMP Negeri 5 Kota Cirebon. The method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive case study approach. The results of this study explain the implementation of the P.O.S.T. stages in the social marketing strategy on social media at Friendly School program in SMP Negeri 5 Kota Cirebon, which is effective in socializing the dangers of KBGO. The socialization carried out aims to provide new insights related to the prevention and handling of KBGO and to build a safe environment for individuals who are vulnerable to becoming victims, especially in the context of SMP Negeri 5 Kota Cirebon students.

Abstract

The issue of online gambling advertisements proliferating on Instagram's platform is of significant concern and demands immediate attention. To curb this trend, Instagram must strengthen its measures against users who propagate these advertisements to discourage others from following suit and prevent them from appearing on the platform's timeline. Such deterrent measures must be implemented without delay to ensure Instagram's platform's continued integrity and safeguard its users from exposure to unwanted content. The present study employs qualitative reception analysis, and the findings underscore the need for Instagram to implement stringent measures to prevent the proliferation of online gambling advertisements on its platform. The imperative to preserve the intended purpose of social media and ensure a positive user experience necessitates that Instagram improves its reporting feature to regulate such ads more effectively. Taking a proactive approach will bolster the platform's efforts to promote social media's health and safeguard the interests of its users. By adopting a proactive approach, the researcher can implement various strategies and policies that will help enhance the platform's overall user experience. This may include improving content moderation, preventing the spread of misinformation and harmful content, and addressing technical issues. This approach will enable us to prioritize the safety and well-being of social media users by implementing more robust privacy and security measures and providing more comprehensive support for those experiencing online harassment or other forms of abuse. Through these efforts, we can build a more robust, more resilient platform that is better equipped to meet the evolving needs of its users.

Abstract

Television is the main medium for conveying marketing messages to the public. Managing advertisements during commercial breaks is very important to increase the attractiveness of the message to be conveyed to the audience. Through the SCTV Carnaval program, it has become one of the routine programs held every year with high appeal in the community. Therefore, commercial breaks are needed to support the SCTV Carnaval program. Through the work design “Implementation of Advertising Management in the SCTV Carnaval (On Commercial Break Bejo Jahe Merah Product)”. The author implements commercial break Bejo Jahe Merah based execute message style Armstrong & Kotler (2022) including a slice of life, lifestyle, mood or image, personality symbol, scientific evidence, and testimonial evidence for creating actual commercial break. Dara obtained from observations at the workplace, company documents, and literature studies. The result of this work design shows that the implementation of this theory can improve the quality of message execution in more up-to-date commercial break Bejo Jahe Merah.

Abstract

Innovation Day was founded in 2016 as a forum for Telkom employees to share knowledge. In the TikTok account @innovationday there is an engagement target that must be achieved every month. In September there was no significant increase in engagement. The factors behind the lack of engagement are the lack of intensity in uploading content and the absence of an editorial plan on TikTok @innovationday. Therefore, the author intends to increase engagement on TikTok Innovation Day social media. The data collection method for designing TikTok social media comes from the author's observations, analysis and existing data. The theories used to discuss strategies for increasing TikTok Innovation Day social media engagement are the theories of Mass Communication, Marketing Communication, Content Marketing, Engagement, Social Media, TikTok, Content and Content Production. Innovation Day achieved a significant increase in engagement rates on the TikTok platform of 14.5%. The content marketing strategy implemented on TikTok Innovation Day was able to create a strong attraction and stimulate a positive response from the audience.

Abstract

Influencer phenomenon Profession on Instagram is increasingly popular, especially in the culinary business sector, where each Influencer definitely has unique and different characteristics in communicating a product/brand to create E-WOM. The obstacles that arise come from the Influencer himself regarding how he can form good interactions with the audience so that he can create E-WOM based on Symbolic Interaction Theory with three important concepts Mind, Self, Society while the content created does not contain the Be Remarkable principle regarding Angle Process Creativity. The method used is a descriptive qualitative research method with an interpretive approach. Informant research is based on Exponential Non-Discriminatory Snowball Sampling, where one source provides several references for the researcher to explore until the information and data are deemed sufficient. The results of this research found that @Batamliciouz succeeded in promoting Kembang Ayu Café through InstaStory by combining Mind, Self, Society and the principles of Be Remarkable, Be Relevant, Be Reasonable, Be Repeatable. Even though creative challenges arise, success is achieved by the interactions carried out by @Batamliciouz through conveying clear information (Mind), a positive image (Self), and content that invites Topicality (Society) thus contributing positively to creating Electronic Word of Mouth.

Abstract

The development of technology in online transportation services like Gojek has a significant impact on meeting the mobility needs of modern society. The city of Salatiga, with many students from outside the island, has a considerable number of individuals without their own vehicles who prefer to use Gojek services. Therefore, research was conducted to analyze the preferences of students in Salatiga in determining the type of Gojek online transportation using the Naïve Bayes method. One hundred questionnaires from Salatiga students were collected, and the results yielded probability values for Gojek service preferences based on a combination of variables such as weather, load, destination, and time. It is evident from the probability values that weather and time variables play a crucial role in influencing users' decisions between using Go-Ride or switching to Go-Car. These results can provide guidance for Gojek in designing service innovations that are more responsive to user needs based on various specific factors.

Abstract

This research will analyze web security and how to find out whether there is a vulnerability or what could be called a vulnerability to enter gaps in the Baleomolcreative web, making the web unsafe. In analyzing whether there are vulnerabilities, the Penetration Testing Execution Standard and Vulnerability Assessment methods are used to determine whether there are gaps or vulnerabilities in the Baleomolcreative website that can be exploited by external parties. This method uses tools such as Owasp ZAP, Nikto, and Nmap which can be used to perform vulnerability scanning on a website. In this research, we succeeded in identifying 3 levels of vulnerability on the Baleomolcreative website, namely medium, low, and informational, with a total of 18 alerts generated from notifications on Owasp Zap. The scanning process includes vulnerability testing such as Content Security Policy, Anti-clickjacking Header, Dangerous JS Functions, Permissions Policy, and others.

Abstract

Thesis registration in the academic environment often faces priority and time management problems, therefore an effective and responsive approach is needed. This study suggests optimizing the Dynamic Priority Scheduling and Sequential Search algorithms to improve the performance of thesis control applications. Dynamic characteristics of students and service requests regulate submission priorities and a sequential search algorithm improves the search for thesis-related information in the database. This research discusses the ideas of both algorithms and how they can improve system efficiency by integrating them.

Abstract

The Java-based design of the Ratu Lutanza Wedding Administration Information System aims to improve efficiency and quality of service in the Wedding industry. Through the application of the Java programming language, this system design is oriented towards the business needs of Ratu Lutanza Wedding by paying attention to a user-friendly user interface. Grounded Research methods were used in the pilot to gain an in-depth understanding of the user experience, with the results providing valuable insights for system improvement. This design emphasizes good integration with existing administrative processes, as well as the application of an iterative development methodology. Conclusions indicate readiness for continued improvement and continuous development.
