Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi larutan penyangga melalui penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) dengan pendekatan etnosains. Terdapat beberapa hal yang mendasari penelitian ini adalah rendahnya minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran kimia yang kemudian membuat hasil belajar siswa kurang memuaskan. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang berlangsung dalam dua siklus, pada siklus I dilaksanakan tiga kali pertemuan dan disiklus II dilaksnakan dua kali pertemuan. Masing-masing siklus pada penelitian ini terdiri dari: tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes tertulis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa model pembelajaran PBL dengan pendekatan etnosains dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari presentase hasil belajar siswa yang meningkat dari 74% pada siklus I yang selanjutnya meningkat menjadi 96% pada siklus II.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Effectiveness of the Implementation of the ICARE Learning Model on Student Chemistry Learning Outcomes in Acid-Base Material. This research was conducted in class XI MIA SMA Budi Luhur Kembang Mertha in the 2022/2023 academic year. A total of 24 students of class XI MIA were selected as the research sample. This research is a quantitative study using an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The data collection technique uses a learning achievement test which is given a pretest before the learning process is carried out and a posttest after the learning process is carried out. From these results it can be concluded that the implementation of the ICARE learning model can effectively improve students' chemistry learning outcomes in the subject matter of class XI acids and bases at SMA Budi Luhur Kembang Mertha.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the chritical thinking skill of university students. The sample of this study was 16 (sixteen) people taken by purposive sampling method. The study was took in Basic Chemistry class and the topic was chemical bonding. The reasearch method was qualitative descriptive reasearch. The instruments developed were test instrument and interview. The test instrument consists of four dimension such as interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inferension. The result of this study prove that the chritical thinking skill of university students were moderate and the average percentage was 66,0625 The value of each dimensions were 62,75% for interpretation, 55,25% for analysis, 68,75% for evaluation, and the last was 77,5% for inferension.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar kimia siswa setelah penerapan Model Pembelajaran POGIL dengan Pendekatan Multiple Intelligence Terhadap Hasil Belajar Kimia Siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode pra eksperimen dengan desain one case study. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Tompaso pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023 sebagai kelas eksperimen yang erjumlah 23 orang siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes hasil belajar yaitu posttest setelah melaksanakan proses pembelajaran. Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kimia siswa (posttest) adalah 81,89. Sebelum dilakukan uji one sample t test terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji normalitas dan didapatkan data berdistribusi normal. Hasil uji t yang diperoleh yaitu thitung = 2,138 > ttabel = 1,717, dengan taraf siginikan α = 0,05. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran POGIL dengan Pendekatan Multiple Intelligence.

Abstract

Flipped classroom is a learning approach where subject matter and skills that are usually taught during class hours are delivered outside the classroom. This research aims to determine differences in student learning outcomes through the application of the flipped classroom learning model on basic chemistry material in mathematics education at Universitas Negeri Manado (Unima). This research is quantitative research using experimental methods with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample used in this research was class A mathematics education students with a low or no level of understanding of chemistry. The data collection technique uses a learning outcomes test where a pretest is given before the lecture process is carried out and a posttest after the lecture process is carried out. The research results showed that the average student learning outcomes in the pre-test were 37.71 and the average student learning outcomes in the post-test were 87.88. The N-Gain score test results show a score of 81% which is included in the effective and high category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the application of the flipped classroom model improves student learning outcomes in chemical bond material in the general chemistry class at Unima’s mathematics education effectively and significantly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sejumlah artikel ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan penggunaan metode eksperimen berbasis lingkungan dalam upaya meningkatkan pencapaian belajar kimia peserta didik di tingkat sekolah menengah atas. Metode ini menggabungkan prinsip-prinsip pembelajaran kimia dengan eksperimen atau praktikum yang memanfaatkan bahan alami dan lingkungan sekitar. Berbagai sumber akademis dieksplorasi untuk meninjau dampak positif metode ini terhadap pemahaman konsep, keterampilan praktis, dan minat belajar peserta didik dalam kimia. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode eksperimen berbasis lingkungan masih memerlukan evaluasi lebih lanjut untuk memastikan efektivitasnya. Temuan juga menunjukkan bahwa metode ini mendorong sikap peduli lingkungan dan penerapan konsep kimia dalam konteks dunia nyata. Implikasi dari tinjauan literatur ini adalah pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih berorientasi pada lingkungan dan kontekstual untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kimia peserta didik di SMA.

Abstract

This research is classroom action research which aims to improve student learning outcomes in chemical bonding material through the application of the project based learning model. There are several things that underlie this research, namely the low interest in student learning in chemistry subjects which then makes student learning outcomes unsatisfactory. The research carried out is classroom action research (PTK) which takes place in two cycles, in cycle I it is held three meetings and in cycle II it is held two meetings. Each cycle in this research consists of a planning stage. implementation, observation and reflexology Data collection techniques were carried out using observation sheets and written tests. Based on the research results, it was found that the project based learning model could improve student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the percentage of student learning outcomes which increased from 60% in cycle I which then increased to 96% in cycle II.

Abstract

The digital era requires teachers and prospective teachers to innovate in the development of effective, efficient and not boring learning media. This study aims to develop interactive learning media based on virtual laboratories and 3-dimensional animation on chemical equilibrium material called Le Chatelier Virtual Laboratory. The research and development method used is 4D. The research study was used to determine the feasibility and student responses to virtual laboratory-based interactive learning media and 3D animation on chemical equilibrium. Product validation results were performed by experts using Aiken's V data analysis. The validity result reached a value of 0.91, a category with high validity. The small-scale trial produced a fairly good response with an overall quality percentage of 83.46%. This study concluded that learning media can be used in the learning process and further research can be carried out at the disseminate stage (large scale implementation).

Abstract

This research was conducted to see whether there is an effect of using the Peer-Led Team Learning model on the learning outcomes of class XI SMA N 1 Tomohon students on the Hydrocarbons topic. The effect is seen from the different in learning outcomes between the class with the Peer-Led Team Learning model and the class with conventional learning. The type of this research is quantitative with experimental design. Data collection techniques are carried out by giving pre-test and post-test in the experimental class and control class. The hypothesis was tested with the independent-t test. The test result showed the tcount is 6,029, 6,029 > 2,007584. The conclusion is to accept Ha namely that there is significant different between the learning outcomes of class with the Peer-Led Team Learning model and class with conventional learning. After the hypothesis test, an N-Gain test was carried out to determine the effectiveness of using the learning model. The test results showed an N-Gain value in the experimental class of 0.70 with a percentage 70.02148%, and in the control class of 0.50 with a percentage 50.38885%. Based on these results, it is known that the use of the Peer-Led Team Learning model is more effective than conventional learning.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk Mengetahui Perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan Model Pembelajaran POGIL (Process Oriented Guided Inquary Learning) Pada Materi Struktur Atom Di SMA Negeri 1 Tondano. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kelas X IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Tondano pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Sebanyak 20 siswa kelas X IPA 3 ditetapkan sebagai sampel penelitian. Data pengujian Hipotesis uji t diperoleh nilai thitung (18,5749) lebih besar dari ttabel 2,093 pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dengan derajat kebebasan n-1=20-1 = 19. Uji peningkatan (N-gain) diperoleh nilai 0,77 yang termasuk dalam kategori kriteria tinggi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan model pembelajaran POGIL. Terjadinya perbedaan ini diduga karena ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran POGIL. Hal ini didukung oleh uji N-Gain sebesar 0,77 yang termasuk dalam kriteria tinggi.
