Abstract

This research focused on the following things; a) How are the problems resulting from climate change to the quality of the environment and people in Kalikatir village? b) How are strategies in solving the problem of climate change through adaptation and mitigation efforts? c). What was the meaning of da’wah in this community organizing? Researchers used the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method along with Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) techniques for data mining. The dynamics of community organizing included inculturation, knowing, understanding, planning, action, monev, reflection, and report. The results of the research showed that the local climate change presents various problems in the disaster of natural resources, food resistance, economy, and health sectors. Community organizing of people produced a "Farmer Group Learning Center", and also facilitated some access to the information, knowledge, and experience about climate change. Da’wah activities showed in this community organizing on the form of tathwir and tamkin which transformed the teaching of Islam through empowering the community of their human, social, economic, and environmental resources.

Abstract

Everyone lives with a variety of presumptions that are not always to their liking, this allows a person to experience tremendous pressure and will foster a prolonged new problem. Post-power syndrome is a phenomenon that occurs in an elderly person who is not ready for old age, motivated by job loss and decreased function of certain organs. Researchers used qualitative research methods through case studies and observations of primary subjects. In this study apply reinforcement work or reinforcement in helping sufferers towards healing, in the form of positive reinforcement on daily good behavior. The results of this study showed that this reinforcement technique has an effect on the healing of post-power syndrome, while involving the participation of the family and the surrounding environment to bring out the meaning in the subject.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find a strategy in developing Creative Business Groups in Menteng Village, precisely in the RT 05/RW XII environment and its surroundings. The group's efforts have been to recycle used tires into useful items, for example making flower pots and others, focusing on the environmental theme. Furthermore, mentoring is carried out because the group understands that they have potential in the field of business for the development of their group. They mobilize the community to join together in managing the business and its environment in collaboration with stakeholders (RT). The strategy used is to analyze pentagonal assets and determine asset advantages using the Orid Technique, which is then described in the program strategy analysis table (related to program potential, expectations, and plans). The summary of the agreed program is to strengthen group management and design development efforts for infrastructure development before the business is realized. The Asset Based Community-Driven Development (ABCD) approach is used as the method of this action research, namely community development carried out based on the assets owned, namely human, social, and supportive environmental assets. Community development process with independent participation (self-mobilization) through Appreciative Inquiry. The discovery of data is covered in the FGD process, interviews, observation and documentation, and the evaluation techniques used are before-after and historical plots. Program changes can be analyzed by looking at the development of a more structured group management and realizing the development of a business development plan. So that if the business starts operating, in the future it can have an impact on strengthening the economy, social and environment of the community.

Abstract

The field of the film is currently attracting the attention of all citizens. Although the film has many other forms of mass media, it has special effects on those who view it. The "final decision" film is a recent release, with many moral messages given in the background of the teen's story. This study aims to determine what and how the representations, objects, interpretants, and moral messages are contained in “Udah Putusin Aja” film. To describe this problem, the researcher used the Charles Sanders Peirce model of the semiotic analysis method and the framework of cultural norm theory. The results of this study are representations of moral messages depicted in the dialogue of the players. Furthermore, the object is something that is represented. In relation, the objects here can be seen in the speech style, body gestures, and dialogue with moral messages that appear assigned. The interpretant is someone's interpretation of signs. The conclusion of the moral message in “ Udah Putusin Aja” film: always say greetings, wear a headscarf, do not come into contact with non-Muslim women, maintain honor for Muslim women, help each other, remind of death, prohibition of dating, don’t prejudice Allah SWT's plan, and apologize and forgive each other.

Abstract

A local television company that was built with the spirit of regional culture, is very much felt by its presence by providing a lot of color in the media industry, especially in television media. The problem discussed in this study is the economic media where the economic pressures can affect the strategy of JTV Banyuwangi in sustaining presence in the media industry. The research uses qualitative research by using an economics media analysis, which would explain how attempts by the JTV Banyuwangi do to preserve its existence. The result of this study has four strategies, 1) guarding human resources available for increased growth and creative levels, 2) the same load of entertainment and news, 3) active on social media, 4) working with cable television companies. The strategies of the JTV Banyuwangi to get for the markets, which is the audience and advertising, this strategy was certainly successful because JTV Banyuwangi has enhanced the position on positioning the markets holdings in relation to another local television.

Abstract

The study described a horror film entitled Pengabdi Setan that describes a family that believes in Islam. However, it is said that the family did not follow the true Islamic Friday. With all the weird and creepy things that often happen to his family. In this case, one member of the family is the mother of the devil. It was done to produce offspring. In research for this thesis, researchers formulated the problem as "what message of Pengabdi Setan?" to address the problem, researchers employed the method and type of study of the semiotical analysis of Roland Barthes. The results of this study indicate that the messages of the da’wah in the hideous film Pengabdi Setan have three messages covering the aqidah, the Shari'ah message, and the morals message. These are summed up by the three theories of monology, dialogue, and speech. So, the three theories were used to obtain the message of Pengabdi Setan.

Abstract

Morality is a crucial issue to be studied in the current era of globalization. Therefore, the researcher chose the comic Al Fatih 1453 as research material because it can be used as an example of learning, especially for children who are in the learning process to practice Islamic moral values in the form of mah easy morals in everyday life as well as to introduce the figure of Muhammad Al Fatih. Therefore, this study examines: (1) How are the meanings of signs, objects, and interpretants conveyed in the comic Al Fatih 1453? (2) What Islamic morality is contained in the comic Al Fatih 1453? To describe the two problems, the researcher uses a qualitative approach and the type of research used in this research is the type of Media Text Analysis research with Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis model. The results of this study indicate that (1) the delivery of the sign (representamen), object, and interpretation of meaning (interpretant) contained in the comic Al Fatih 1453 can be seen through visual illustrations (pictures) and text (writing) which will be used as research data. Then it will be described using Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis model. (2) The morality of Islam contained in the comic Al Fatih 1453 is a maheasy character, that is, a commendable character. Maheasy morals are morals that reflect the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, in the form of asceticism, endeavor, friendship, gratitude, and prayer.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of New Media in encouraging the occurrence of "Religious internal conversion". By using discourse analysis on the social media Twitter, this study revealed that new media characteristics, particularly user-generated content and interactivity characteristics, are not only able to exchange religious messages that encourage people to carry out the religious internal conversion but are also able to construct religious identity in accordance with certain religious values. In this context, the religious identity of the community in new media culture more represents religious symbolism than the substantial.

Abstract

This study aims to see the standard operating procedures for services performed by Shafira Tour Travel Surabaya during the covid-19 pandemic. First, to see how the operational standards were enforced before the pandemic. Second, to see how the differences in services after the pandemic are seen from the planning changes and innovations that Shafira made during the covid-19 pandemic. In this study, the authors used qualitative research methods. The qualitative method is used because it is considered practical to describe and explain service procedures before the pandemic. Then, for data collection techniques, the author uses triagulation techniques, namely data collection by observing, utilizing documentation, and interviews. The results of this study explain that Shafira before the pandemic had carried out service standards in accordance with those set by the government. Then for planning changes, Shafira has done for the good and did it gradually and carefully, but the leadership did not involve employees who were affected by changes in the work system. Then, the innovations made were by changing the work system and implementing health protocols, but not increasing digital capabilities because they had done it before the pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the process of controlling the quality of the social program of the Miftahul Huda Mosque, Balun Village, Turi District, Lamongan Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method. Qualitative descriptive method is used to describe and examine in depth the process of quality control of the social program of the Miftahul Huda Mosque, Balun Village, Turi District, Lamongan Regency. Then, the data collection technique was carried out by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are as follows. Miftahul Huda Mosque's social programs include providing death compensation (adults Rp. 400,000/person, children Rp. 300,000/person, providing coffins), anjangsana to sick families, assistance to families affected by natural disasters, and providing compensation. to orphans and less fortunate people twice (just before Eid al-Fitr and at PHBI Maulid Prophet Muhammad SAW). Miftahul Huda Mosque makes efforts to control the quality of social programs by going through several processes, namely program planning, implementation monitoring, quality assurance, quality improvement, program innovation, standardization of activities, persuasive efforts, reporting systems, and evaluation.
