Abstract

This study aims to explore customers’ perception toward an Indonesian handmade shoes and brand image created after seeing the review made by a foreign customer who happens to be a Youtuber.  This study is Adopting a qualitative sentiment analysis method by analyzing comments from YouTube reviews that have been cleaned up using Atlas.ti.  The study interprets user-generated comments to understand consumer perception and brand image after categorizing sentiments into positive, negative, neutral and supplements them with descriptive coding for deeper insights.  Findings show that consumers predominantly express positive sentiments, highlighting craftsmanship and brand uniqueness, while negative comments focus on limited size availability, long waiting time and ordering difficulty.  This study provides insights into how other local brands can enhance their market presence through effective storytelling, leveraging cultural identity, and partnering with influencers particularly within the context of local products entering global markets. It highlights the importance of brand awareness, emphasizing the role of review credibility and the differential impact of positive vs. negative feedback that may influence purchase intentions.

Abstract

Pelatihan kerja dan pengembangan karir merupakan faktor penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja perawat, yang pada akhirnya berkontribusi terhadap kualitas pelayanan kesehatan di rumah sakit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pelatihan kerja dan pengembangan karir terhadap motivasi kerja perawat di Rumah Sakit Hasan Sadikin Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei, menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrumen utama pengumpulan data. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 286 perawat yang dipilih melalui teknik sampling tertentu. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa baik pelatihan kerja maupun pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi kerja perawat, dengan pengaruh pengembangan karir lebih kuat dibandingkan pelatihan kerja. Mayoritas responden menyatakan bahwa pelatihan yang diberikan telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan pekerjaan mereka dan membantu dalam meningkatkan keterampilan serta jenjang karir. Rumah sakit juga telah memberikan kesempatan yang adil bagi seluruh karyawan dalam pengembangan karir, yang berdampak pada meningkatnya motivasi kerja. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa program pelatihan kerja dan pengembangan karir memiliki peran signifikan dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja perawat. Oleh karena itu, rumah sakit disarankan untuk terus memperbarui dan mengoptimalkan program pelatihan serta pengembangan karir agar lebih sesuai dengan kebutuhan tenaga keperawatan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how financial attitudes and financial self-efficacy influence the personal financial management of employees of the cracker industry in Tulanagan district. The following study is a quantitative quantitative study with a descriptive approach. 158 respondents were taken by purposive sampling from a population of 203 employees. Variables were measured using a Likert scale with a weight range of 1 to 5. Data analysis was carried out by applying Partial Least Square (PLS). The study findings indicate that: (1) financial attitudes have a positive impact on personal financial management (2) financial self-efficacy has a positive impact on personal financial management, (3) financial attitudes and financial self-efficacy simultaneously influence personal financial management.

Abstract

Kesejahteraan keuangan telah muncul sebagai penentu utama kesehatan keuangan individu. Kesejahteraan keuangan merupakan keadaan dimana individu memiliki sumber daya yang cukup untuk menjalani kehidupan yang nyaman. Kesejahteraan keuangan yang rendah akan mengganggu kesehatan psikologis, sosial, dan fisik individu. Mengakibatkan efisiensi yang buruk, kesalahan dalam jangka pendek, produktivitas yang rendah, dan kesulitan berkonsentrasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh literasi keuangan digital, impulsivitas, dan self-efficacy terhadap kesejahteraan finansial, dengan perilaku keuangan sebagai variabel mediasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, dengan jumlah sampel 254 perempuan di Sumatera Barat. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh Menggunakan (kuesioner) melalui google form menggunakan skala Likert. Teknik anaisis data menggunakan program Smart PLS 4.0 metode Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan digital berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap perilaku keuangan dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan finansial. Impulsivitas berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap perilaku keuangan dan kesejahteraan finansial, sementara self-efficacy memiliki pengaruh positif signifikan terhadap perilaku keuangan dan kesejahteraan finansial. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa perilaku keuangan bertindak sebagai mediator yang signifikan antara literasi keuangan digital, impulsivitas, self-efficacy, dan kesejahteraan finansial. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pengembangan kebijakan edukasi keuangan dan intervensi perilaku yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan finansial.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of lifestyle and brand image on public interest in using national health insurance (JKN) in Merauke City. This quantitative study has a population in four Merauke Regencies that do not yet have JKN. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires and documentation. The hypothesis test results stated that lifestyle partially affects public interest, where every increase in people's lifestyle will increase public interest in using National Health Insurance (JKN). Brand image has a partial effect on public interest, meaning that every increase in brand image on National Health Insurance (JKN) will increase public interest. Thus, lifestyle and brand image simultaneously affect public interest in using National Health Insurance (JKN) in Merauke City. Therefore, the study's results suggest that lifestyle and brand image play crucial roles in influencing public interest in utilizing the National Health Insurance (JKN) in Merauke City. This highlights the importance of considering these factors in promoting and improving the utilization of healthcare services.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini yaitu dengan meningkatnya perhatian global terhadap perubahan iklim, terdapat tekanan yang semakin besar bagi perusahaan, terutama di sektor energi, untuk transparan dalam mengungkapkan emisi karbon perusahaan. Carbon Emission Disclosure menjadi alat penting untuk mengevaluasi komitmen perusahaan terhadap keberlanjutan dan tanggung jawab lingkungan. Di Indonesia, sebagai salah satu negara dengan tingkat emisi yang signifikan, penelitian ini penting untuk memahami sejauh mana perusahaan sektor energi memenuhi tuntutan ini. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis bagaimana media exposure mempengaruhi hubungan antara Gender Diversity dan Board Independence terhadap Carbon Emission Disclosure (2) memberikan rekomendasi praktis bagi perusahaan sektor energi di Indonesia mengenai strategi Carbon Emission Disclosure yang efektif dan transparan, serta bagi pembuat kebijakan mengenai perlunya regulasi atau pedoman yang mendukung pengungkapan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan bukti empiris bahwa (1) Gender Diversity dapat mempengaruhi Carbon Emission Disclosure (2) Board Independence dapat mempengaruhi Carbon Emission Disclosure (3) Media Exposure dapat memoderasi hubungan antara Gender Diversity terhadap Carbon Emission Disclosure dan (4) Media Exposure dapat memoderasi hubungan antara Board Independence terhadap Carbon Emission Disclosure. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) yang dijalankan melalui software EViews. MRA dipilih karena teknik ini memungkinkan peneliti untuk menguji pengaruh variabel moderasi (Media Exposure) dalam hubungan antara variabel independen (Gender Diversity dan Board Independence) dengan variabel dependen (Carbon Emission Disclosure).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Capital Intensity, Inventory Intensity, dan Likuiditas terhadap Agresivitas Pajak pada perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Capital Intensity berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap agresivitas pajak. Artinya, semakin tinggi tingkat capital intensity, maka semakin tinggi pula kecenderungan perusahaan untuk melakukan agresivitas pajak. Hal serupa juga ditemukan pada Inventory Intensity, di mana semakin tinggi nilai inventory intensity, maka semakin tinggi pula agresivitas pajak yang dilakukan perusahaan. Sebaliknya, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Likuiditas tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap agresivitas pajak. Tingkat likuiditas perusahaan, baik tinggi maupun rendah, tidak memengaruhi kecenderungan perusahaan dalam melakukan penghematan pajak. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bahwa struktur aset perusahaan lebih berperan dalam menentukan strategi pajak agresif dibandingkan dengan kondisi likuiditas perusahaan.

Abstract

The era of digital disruption has brought significant changes in the business landscape and demanded organizations to adapt more dynamic and innovative human resource (HR) management strategies. This study aims to analyze HR management strategies in improving organizational performance by emphasizing transformational leadership roles and employee engagement. The research method used is a quantitative approach by collecting data through surveys of employees from various industrial sectors that are undergoing digital transformation. The results of the analysis show that transformational leadership has a significant influence on increasing employee engagement, which ultimately positively impacts the overall performance of the organization. This study confirms the importance of integration between adaptive HR management strategies, visionary leadership, and high employee engagement in the face of digital challenges. These findings provide practical implications for organizational leaders to develop a responsive, collaborative, and innovation-based work culture to achieve sustainable competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of capital structure on corporate income tax payable in companies in the miscellaneous industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2021–2023. Capital structure is measured using four indicators: Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Long-term Debt to Asset Ratio (LDAR), and Long-term Debt to Equity Ratio (LDER). The research sample consists of 24 companies over a three-year period, resulting in 72 firm-year observations. Corporate income tax payable is used as the dependent variable. This research employs a quantitative associative method with a causal approach and multiple linear regression analysis. The data used are secondary data obtained from companies' annual reports. The results indicate that partially, the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) has no significant effect on corporate income tax payable. Meanwhile, the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Long-term Debt to Equity Ratio (LDER) have a negative and significant effect. In contrast, the Long-term Debt to Asset Ratio (LDAR) has a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, the four independent variables have a significant effect on corporate income tax payable. These findings suggest that decisions regarding capital structure—particularly the composition of debt and equity—play an important role in determining the company’s tax obligations.

Abstract

This research investigates the  lifestyle of those who intend to revisit V Coffee Shop in Padang City with customer satisfaction as a mediator. A quantitative approach was used by distributing questionnaires to 110 respondents who had visited the coffee shop.. Employing a quantitative method, data were collected through a structured questionnaire from 110 respondents who had previously visited the coffee shop. The analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) via SmartPLS 4.0. The findings indicate that lifestyle does not have a significant influence on customer satisfaction. In contrast, customer satisfaction significantly influences revisit intention. Moreover, customer satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between lifestyle and revisit intention. These results suggest that while lifestyle may shape customer preferences, it does not directly translate into satisfaction or loyalty in this context. Customer satisfaction emerges as the most critical factor in fostering revisit intention. This study offers theoretical contributions to consumer behavior literature and practical implications for service enhancement strategies in the coffee shop industry
