Abstract

Alasan penelitian ini adalah globalisasi yang mengharuskan setiap orang untuk bisa berbahasa Inggris.Tujuannya adalah untuk mempelajari lebih lanjut tentang beragamnya budaya masyarakat global. Artinya, anak dapat menerima pembelajaran bilingual sejak dini tanpa melupakan bahasa ibu Indonesianya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang dilakukan di TK Tunas Zaitun Banyuwangi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan: (1) Konsep Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Bilingual di TK Tunas Zaitun Banyuwangi (2) Implementasi Konsep Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Bilingual di TK Tunas Zaitun, Kabupaten Banyuwangi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil investigasi mengungkapkan bahwa konsep pembelajaran bilingual di TK Tunas Zaitun Banyuwangi adalah pembelajaran menggunakan bahasa Inggris dan bahasa Indonesia sehingga peserta didik dapat berbicara dan memahami dua bahasa. Pemberian materi bilingual bervariasi berdasarkan usia dan tingkat kelas. Dampak dari pembelajaran bilingual adalah siswa berbicara dua bahasa yang mudah dan memperoleh kosakata bahasa Inggris dan Indonesia di lingkungannya.

Abstract

The low ability to read letters at preschool age, it should be a special concern. Indeed, the educational materials provided by the teacher do not arouse the decline in students' interest in learning to improve children's ability to read letters, this includes the ability to read the ability to identify various known letter symbols, recognize the initial letter sounds of the names of objects around them, give names to pictures whose initial sounds or letters are similar, also understand the relationship between sounds and letter symbols. Using picture card media, according to the author, as a learning support tool can help children improve their reading skills. This study aims to identify the effect of using picture word cards on the reading ability of children aged 5-6 years at Dharma Wanita Persatuan 2 Purwodadi Kindergarten. The research was conducted at Dharma Wanita Persatuan 2 Purwodadi Kindergarten using a multi-method research approach. The sample of this study amounted to 22 children in group B of Dharma Wanita Persatuan 2 Purwodadi Kindergarten. This classroom action research activity begins with action planning (planning), implementing action (acting), observing (observing), and reflecting (reflecting). This activity then rotates until the expected results. This research uses the PTK model, collaborative Classroom Action Research, where researchers and teachers work together to solve classroom problems. In the first cycle of meetings, an average of 52.2% was obtained, and in the second cycle of meetings, an average of 69.9% was obtained. In the second cycle of meetings, the average obtained 75%, and increased to 80.1% when obtaining a score of 75%. The results showed that children aged 5-6 years at Dharma Wanita Persatuan 2 Purwodadi Kindergarten, Malang Regency could improve their literacy skills by playing picture cards. Based on the results of research and discussion about the application of picture card playing activities to improve the ability to read letters in Group B children at Dharma Wanita Persatuan 2 Purwodadi Kindergarten, Malang Regency can be concluded, literacy skills with picture card playing activities based on the results of cycle I 52.2%, then cycle II 80.1% this shows if there is an increase of 27.9%.

Abstract

Children aged 5-6 years have literacy skills, including having vocabulary, recognizing literacy or letter symbols in preparation for reading and writing, counting, making simple sentences, having many words to express their ideas to others. Literacy is a part of language development. For this reason, it is necessary to develop language/literacy skills in early childhood. The research methodology used is Class Action Research. The study was conducted in several stages, namely pre-cycle, cycle 1, and Cycle 2. Data collection techniques taken by way of observation and documentation. The assessment indicators started from undeveloped, began to develop, developed as expected, and developed very well. Students of Tkit Robbani Group B Rombel Ilyas literacy and language skills, especially knowing literacy, increased by 85% from the number of 15 students. The child already knows the Letters, connects the sounds of letters and symbols of letters, reads syllables. Children are also more active when communicating in every activity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of this waste sorting program in instilling the character of environmental care, introducing children to the problems that occur in the environment around children, what are the impacts of waste, introducing the types of waste, so that children are able to distinguish between organic and non-organic waste and know what can be utilized from non-organic and organic waste, as well as knowing the inhibiting and supporting factors of this program. The research method here uses descriptive qualitative methods to explore the impact of the socialization of sorting this waste on early childhood totaling 34 at KB Agung Kencana. This research is expected to provide an understanding of the impact of environmental damage due to waste, how to separate waste according to its type, and its management. In addition, children are also given direct experience in the process of sorting and managing waste and cleaning the surrounding environment. As a result of this research, the socialization of sorting waste is one of the teacher's efforts to instill the character of environmental care in early childhood. So that students will have an environmental care character that plays an important role in preserving the environment. This activity not only provides an understanding of the adverse effects of waste and how to separate it by type, but also provides direct experience in the process of sorting and managing waste and maintaining environmental cleanliness. In its implementation, the supporting factor is the commitment and support of parents in the waste sorting process, while the inhibiting factor is the limited facilities and infrastructure for waste management.

Abstract

This study is based on the background before the application of flashcard media found by researchers regarding the ability to read hijaiyah letters of children is less than optimal in utilizing educational game media, on indicators of the ability to read hijaiyah letter recognition, mention letter symbols, and oral pronunciation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of flashcard media on the ability to read hijaiyah letters for children aged 5-6 years at TK kemala bhayangkari 1 Palembang. This type of research is quantitative with the Pre-Experimental Design experiment research method. This research design uses One Group Pretest - Posttest Design. The population of this study were children in group B 1, totaling 25 children and sampling using purposive sampling to obtain samples that represented the objectives of the research conducted and had sample selection criteria at TK Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Palembang. Data collection techniques used observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study used validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, and t hypothesis test. The results of this study before the application of flashcard media the ability to read hijaiyah letters is less than optimal in the use of educational media, after the flashcard media has increased, it can be seen from the assessment results that the significance value is 0.00 (<0, 05) then H0 is rejected, meaning that there is an influence of flashcard media on the ability to read hijaiyah letters for children aged 5-6 know. Which means that there is a significant effect of flashcard media on the ability to read hijaiyah letters for children aged 5-6 years in Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Palembang kindergarten.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of letter card media on the early literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years at RA Perwanida 4 Palembang. This type of research is quantitative with the Pre-Experimental Design experiment research method. This research design uses One Group Pretest - Posttest Design. The population of this study were group B children totaling 10 children and sampling using purposive sampling to obtain samples that represented the objectives of the research conducted and had sample selection criteria at RA Perwanida 4 Palembang. Data collection techniques used observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study used validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, and t hypothesis test. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, there is a significant influence on the early literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years on early literacy indicators in mentioning known letter symbols, recognizing the initial letter sounds of the names of objects around, understanding between the sound and shape of letters, mentioning groups of images that have the same sound or initial letter, writing their own names, and reading their own names. In addition, it is shown by 0.000, according to the results of hypothesis testing conducted using the SPSS program with a sequential sample test. Therefore, the significant value is not greater than 0.05. The data above shows that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. which means that there is a significant effect of letter card media on the early literacy skills of children aged 5-6 years at RA Perwanida 4 Palembang.

Abstract

Kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan merupakan konsep dasar matematika yang terdiri dari menghitung bilangan, mengenal lambang bilangan, dan manghubungkan jumlah benda dengan lambang bilangannya dan membedakan dan membuat dua kumpulan benda yang sama jumlahnya, yang tidak sama, lebih banyak, lebih sedikit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media loose part terhadap kemampuan mengenal konsep bilangan anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Yunico Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen model dua kelompok pratest-postest (Quasi Experimental design). Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah 28 orang. Sampel pada peneliti ini yaitu 28 anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan total sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi partisipasi pasif. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan lembar observasi sebagai instrumen penelitian yang telah di uji validasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis menggunakan Independent Samples Test. Hasil dari analisis data menggunakan uji Independent Sample T Test bahwa yang diperoleh adalah nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) 0,001 < 0,05 yang di mana dapat diambil keputusan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Kemudian pengambilan keputusan nilai, yaitu sebesar t hitung 3,650 dan untuk t tabel yaitu 1,70562 yang berarti t hitung lebih besar > dari t tabel, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima dengan interpretasi kuat dengan nilai 3,04 yang berada pada rentang > 1,00 dengan interpretasi kuat (strong effect). Sehingga yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh media loose part terhadap kemampuan konsep bilangan anak usia 5-6 tahun.
