Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact of hustle culture and work pressure on the work-life balance of Gen-Z employees in Karawang Regency. The approach used in this study is quantitative, through a non-probability sampling technique with accidental sampling. The study population includes 587,125 individuals from Generation Z in the region. Based on Isaac and Michael's formula, the sample size was 349 respondents. Data analysis procedures include item analysis, reliability, classical assumption checking, hypothesis, categorization test along with the difference test. The study results indicate that hustle culture and work stress have a significant impact on work-life balance, both partially and simultaneously. Hustle culture displays a negative impact on work-life balance, meaning that the higher the level of hustle culture faced by individuals, the lower the perceived work-life balance. Conversely, job stress shows a positive correlation to work-life balance, meaning that an increase in job stress can go hand in hand with an increase in work-life balance.

Abstract

This research explores the impact of transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) on employee performance, with work behavior serving as a mediating factor, conducted at PT Anugerah Primarasa Bogatama (APB) Muara Bungo. A quantitative approach was applied using a survey of 90 active employees. Data analysis utilized Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS. The findings indicate that both transformational leadership and OCB notably improve employee performance. Yet, only OCB significantly influences work behavior, whereas transformational leadership does not. Additionally, work behavior does not significantly mediate the relationship between transformational leadership, OCB, and performance. These results highlight the importance of inspirational leadership and proactive work conduct, yet also point to the necessity of strong organizational culture and support structures to maximize performance outcomes. The study enriches the understanding of behavioral mediation and offers strategic insights for leadership and HR development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the implementation of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) affects student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 16 Gorontalo, as well as to identify the challenges faced by teachers in utilizing the platform. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that although PMM offers various supporting features such as teaching materials, self-paced training, and diagnostic assessments, its utilization by teachers remains suboptimal. The main challenges include limited technological infrastructure, low digital literacy among teachers, and a lack of intensive training. As a result, the implementation of PMM has not had a significant impact on improving student learning outcomes. The study concludes that optimizing the use of PMM requires more targeted mentoring strategies, teacher capacity development, and strengthened infrastructure so that the platform can function effectively in supporting the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Village Head’s leadership style in infrastructure development in Cimanuk District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province. Using a qualitative approach supported by quantitative data, the research collected information through surveys, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings indicate that participative and situational leadership styles are more effective in increasing community engagement compared to the instructive (directing) style. Additionally, this approach accelerates the implementation of infrastructure development. Key factors determining the success of development include transparency in budget management, two-way communication, strengthening coordination systems between village officials and the community, and active community involvement in village programs. These findings highlight that adaptive and inclusive leadership can enhance the effectiveness of infrastructure development. As a recommendation, village governments should strengthen leadership capacity by prioritizing participation and transparency to ensure more inclusive and sustainable development. This is expected to improve overall community welfare and accelerate the achievement of village development goals effectively.

Abstract

Thisl study aimsl to examinel the influencel of leadershipl style andl work motivationl on employeel performance at PT Musashi, bothl partially andl simultaneously. Al quantitative approachl was employed using an associative method to analyze the relationship among thel variables: leadershipl style (X1l), work motivationl (X2), andl employee performancel (Y). Thel sampling technique applied was purposive sampling, involving 200 permanent employees as respondents. Data werel collected throughl observations and the distributionl of questionnairesl utilizing a Likertl scale. Thel results ofl the analysisl indicate thatl both independent variables havel a positivel and significantl influence onl employee lperformance, both individually andl jointly. Thel Adjusted Rl-Square valuel of 0.728 suggests thatl 72.8% of thel variation inl employee performancel can bel explained by leadership style and work motivation, while the remaining 27.2% is attributed to other factors beyond the scope of this study. These findings highlight the importance of implementing an effective leadership style and consistently enhancing work motivation to improve employee performance. The study offers practicall implications forl company managementl to prioritize leadershipl development and motivationall strategies within the workplace environment.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine how Perceived Organizational Support functions as an intermediary factor linking both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation to the job performance of Civil Servants (ASN) at the Regional Civil Service and Human Resource Development Agency (BKPSDMD) in Bungo Regency. Motivation stands as a crucial driver behind employee productivity, as numerous studies have highlighted. Even employees with strong capabilities cannot reach their full potential without motivation. The research questions addressed include: (1) Does Intrinsic Motivation influence Perceived Organizational Support? (2) Does Extrinsic Motivation impact Perceived Organizational Support? (3) Is there a connection between Intrinsic Motivation and Performance? (4) Does Extrinsic Motivation affect Performance? (5) What effect does Perceived Organizational Support have on Performance? Employing a quantitative method, the study sampled all 37 employees within BKPSDMD Bungo Regency. Findings reveal that: (1) Intrinsic Motivation (X1) does not significantly affect Perceived Organizational Support (Y) (hypothesis not supported), (2) Extrinsic Motivation (X2) significantly impacts Perceived Organizational Support (Y) (hypothesis supported), (3) Intrinsic Motivation (X1) significantly influences Performance (Z) (hypothesis supported), (4) Extrinsic Motivation (X2) significantly affects Performance (Z) (hypothesis supported), and (5) Perceived Organizational Support (Y) significantly impacts Performance (Z) (hypothesis supported). Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of Social Assistance (Bansos) in Pentadio Barat Village, Telaga Biru District, Gorontalo Regency. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, in this study data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study found that the management of Bansos in Pentadio Barat Village, Telaga Biru District, Gorontalo Regency is not optimal. Of the five evaluation indicators, only the responsiveness indicator is running well, while the other four are not optimal. The Bansos program in Pentadio Barat Village is not fully effective and on target. There is a mismatch in data between the village government and the Social Service, as well as the possibility of multiple recipients of assistance. The adequacy of assistance is also a problem, because the amount of assistance does not meet the daily needs of the community, both in nominal terms and quantity of goods. The distribution of assistance is still constrained by data mismatches, limited quotas from the district, and lack of access to information for the community. The village government needs to improve coordination with the Social Service and improve transparency and effectiveness of data collection. The accuracy indicator in the management of Bansos still faces obstacles, especially in the time of distribution and target recipients. Delays from the central government have an impact on the distribution of aid in villages, so there needs to be improvements in the distribution system to make it more timely and on target.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of competence on employee performance, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable in the garut fashion muslim industry. The approaches used are quantitative with the type of causality research. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. Data collection was carried out through literature studies and distributing questionnaires involving 78 employees with saturated sampling techniques. The research findings indicate that competence directly and significantly affects work satisfaction and employee performance. In addition, work satisfaction contributes positively and significantly to performance. Work satisfaction proved to be able to function as an intervening variable in the relationship between competence and performance. This means that the high competence possessed by employees will play a role in improving work performance and tend to be more confident in performing their duties, so there is a tendency for them to feel satisfied at work. Meanwhile, the fulfilment of work satisfaction, not only can directly affect the resulting performance, but also has an essential role in connecting the relationship between competence and performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using Google Forms in managing the introductory letter service at Bergolo Village Office, Ngawen District, Blora Regency, using a qualitative descriptive approach. A total of 30 respondents, consisting of village officials and service users, participated. The assessment based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) indicators showed that 93% of respondents perceived Google Forms as useful (perceived usefulness), 90% found it easy to use (perceived ease of use), 91% had a positive attitude toward the system (attitude toward use), and 92% intended to continue using it (behavioral intention). The implementation of Google Forms improved service efficiency, reduced paper usage, increased data accuracy, and facilitated real-time monitoring. The main challenges were limited internet access and low digital literacy among elderly residents. Therefore, training and infrastructure improvements are necessary to optimize the system. Overall, the use of Google Forms based on TAM proves to be an effective model for modernizing village administrative services that are fast, transparent, and easily accessible to the community.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Indrajaya District Office, Pidie Regency, which was the object of the research on the public satisfaction index (IKM) towards public services. This research used a quantitative method while the writing used a descriptive method with data collection techniques through questionnaires and observations of the implementation of public services carried out by Government Agencies, namely the Indrajaya District Office. The results of the questionnaire data testing and data processing were in accordance with the general guidelines of the Decree of the Minister of Empowerment of State Civil Apparatus (KEPMEN-PAN Number: KEP / 25 / M.PAN / 2/2004), data processing obtained results that the Public Satisfaction Index (IKM) showed good results with a score of 74.00 in the good category. While to measure the influence of the Public Satisfaction Index (IKM) variable on Public Services at the Indrajaya District Office, Pidie Regency is at 71.4 percent, in other words the Public Satisfaction Index (IKM) has an effect on Public Services at the Indrajaya District Office, Pidie Regency. The research conducted by the author can provide a contribution to public service agencies in this case the Indrajaya District Office, Pidie Regency.
