Abstract

This research aims to apply the PQ4R strategy with social studies flip book media to 5th grade students of SDN Geluran 1 in online learning. This is done in order to improve student learning outcomes during online learning that is less interactive due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Data were obtained from class 5 SDN Geluran 1, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency. This research method uses pretest-posttest control group design. The results of this study are as follows: (1) Learning activities with the application of PQ4R strategy through flip book media, there are two activities, namely teacher activities, the results of which are 86.25% can be categorized as very good and for student activities, 84% are obtained in the very good category. (2) Student responses to the implementation of the PQ4R strategy through flip book media on social studies learning outcomes in class V, there is a percentage of 73% which can be categorized as good. (3) The application of the PQ4R strategy through flip book media on social studies learning outcomes in grade 5 in a similar sample, namely the experimental group there is thitung > ttabel or 33,609 > 1,708. While the learning outcomes with different types of data, namely the experimental group and the control group obtained thitung of 2,262 and ttabel of 2,000, then thitung > ttabel. In other words, Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of PQ4R using flip book media has a very good effect on learning outcomes for social studies subjects for grade 5 students at SDN Geluran 1, Taman Subdistrict, Sidoarjo Regency. Abstract

Salah satu materi pelajaran bahasa Inggris yang menjadi dasar untuk belajar pada level selanjutnya adalah berhitung dalam bahasa Inggris (mathematic). Disebabkan pelajaran bahasa Inggris sangat berbeda dengan bahasa Indonesia sebagai bahasa ibu, seorang guru harus menerapkan konsep belajar yang menarik. “Dhako” sebagai sebuah permainan berkearifan lokal merupakan sebuah variabel yang penting untuk dijadikan media pembelajaran agar siswa tidak kehilangan nilai-nilai kedaerahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efisiensi permainan “dhako” pada pembelajaran berhitung dalam bahasa inggris (mathematic). Penelitian ini menggunakan quasy-eksperimen dengan pre-post test. Dari total dua puluh satu siswa dibagi dalam kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen dengan menggunakan metode random. Uji statistik menggunakan Paired T Test, Levene's Test, dan Independent T Test. Hasil pada uji Paired T Test Paired Sample Test diketahui terdapat perbedaan rata-rata antara hasil belajar pre test dan post nilai signifikansi (2-tailed) sebesar 0,002 < 0,05. Levene's Test for Equality of Variances adalah sebesar 0,882 > 0,05 yang berarti kelas Intervensi dan kelas Kontrol adalah sama atau homogen. Independent Samples Test sebesar 0,039 < 0,05 menyimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan efektifitas yang signifikan (nyata) antara penggunaan permainan dhako pada pembelajaran berhitung dalam bahasa inggris (mathematic) dan tidak menggunakan permainan dhako pada pembelajaran berhitung dalam bahasa inggris (mathematic) bagi siswa kelas 5 SDN AENGDAKE I.

Abstract

This study aims to produce flipchart media products to improve the reading ability of children with special needs with autism in inclusive schools. Because education is the right of every child. Therefore, children with special needs with autism have the right to receive learning according to their conditions. This research method uses research and development methods with a 4-D cycle (define, design, develop and disseminate). The subjects of this study were 6 students with special needs with autism at SD Muhammadiyah, Tulangan sub-district Sidoarjo. The sample of 6 students was selected based on categories, 2 students with mild autism and reading difficulties, 2 students with moderate autism and reading difficulties and 2 students with severe reading difficulties. The results of the study are as follows: (1) the material from the flipchart media developed is declared very feasible with a percentage value of 85.5%. (2) the results of the percentage value of media flipchart get a value of 83.75% with a decent category. (3) the test of the effectiveness of the developed flipchart media obtained a percentage value of 83.33%, a significance value of 0.000 > 0.05 so that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test. Through the n-gain test, the score was obtained 0.33 which means the effect of the application is categorized as 'medium'. It can be concluded that the flipchart media developed had a positive effect on the reading ability of students with special needs with autism at SD Muhammadiyah Tulangan Sidoarjo. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of applying Problem Based Learning model and achievement motivation on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method with two-variant analysis techniques. This type of research is experimental research. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students fo SDN Jemundo 1, totaling 25 students as the experimental group and the fifth grade students of SDN Sadang, totaling 24 students as the control group in the 2020/2021 school year. The results of this study are (1) there is an effect of applying Problem Based Learning (PBL) model (mean of 81.24) and conventional learning (mean of 79.20) on the Mathematics subject of fifth grade students of SDN Taman sub-district Sidoarjo where PBL model is more effective with a significance value of 0.000. (2) there is an influence of achievement motivation on learning outcomes where students with high achievement motivation (mean value 81.46) are superior to students with low achievement motivation (mean value 78.63) with a significance value of 0.001. (3) there is an interaction between the application of PBL model and achievement motivation on learning outcomes with a significance value of 0.001. Thus, problem based learning model and achievement motivation can effect student leaning outcomes in mathematics. Abstract

The research question in this study is how difficult the teacher is in developing the 2013 Curriculum Learning Indicators at SDN 210 Bottopenno. This research is a qualitative research with research subjects namely teachers of grades I, II, III, IV, V, and VI. Data collection using interview guidelines and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation stage, and drawing conclusions. The results obtained are that the teacher has difficulty in translating KD into indicators, determining the appropriate Operational Verbs (KKO), determining and adjusting competencies according to the characteristics of students, identifying the abilities of students, determining learning activities according to the indicators made, determining the type of assessment that is in accordance with the indicators applied, and the lack of training regarding the preparation of the 2013 Curriculum RPP that is in accordance with the conditions and characteristics of each region. The conclusion in this study is that the teacher of SDN 210 Bottopenno class in developing teacher learning indicators has difficulty in 1) describing basic basic competencies, 2) determining KKO, 3) determining competence, 4) identifying student characteristics, 5) determining learning activities, 6) determining the type of learning activity. assessment and 7) lack of 2013 Curriculum training in accordance with the conditions and characteristics.

Abstract

Abstrak Keberadaan pandemi Covid-19 yang telah sekian waktu terjadi Indonesia secara langsung sangat berdampak pada kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran secara daring, faktor pendukung, kendala yang dihadapi, dan keefektifannya selama Pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di sekolah dasar yang berada di Kecamatan Pontianak Kota dari bulan Juli sampai Agustus 2021. Ini Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk memberikan gambaran pembelajaran online di sekolah dasar Kecamatan Pontianak Kota. Penelitian ini menggunakan data dari wawancara semi terstruktur yang diberikan kepada guru kelas, siswa, dan orang tua siswa. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada kegiatan pembelajaran. Pembelajaran secara daring dilakukan dengan menggunakan media Google Meet dan WhatsApp. Pembelajaran daring dirasakan kurang efektif karena materi tidak tersampaikan seluruhnya kepada siswa. Sebagian besar kegiatan dilakukan hanya dengan memberikan materi secara singkat dan pemberian tugas serta mengumpulkan tugas. Dengan demikian perlu adanya langkah terobosan yang perlu dilakukan guru agar pembelajaran tidak monoton dan bisa bermakna bagi siswa meskipun dalam keadaan pembelajaran daring. Kata kunci: pembelajaran daring, pandemi, sekolah dasar Abstract The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic that has occurred in Indonesia for a long time has a direct impact on learning activities in elementary schools. This study aims to analyze the implementation of online learning activities, supporting factors, obstacles faced, and their effectiveness during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research was carried out in elementary schools located in Pontianak Kota District from July to August 2021. This study used a qualitative descriptive method to provide an overview of online learning in Pontianak City elementary schools. This study uses data from semi-structured interviews given to classroom teachers, students, and parents. Data analysis using data analysis techniques using interactive models. The results of this study show that the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on learning activities. Online learning is carried out using Google Meet and WhatsApp. Online learning is felt to be less effective because the material is not fully conveyed to students. Most of the activities are carried out only by giving material briefly and assigning assignments and collecting assignments. Thus, there is a need for breakthrough steps that teachers need to take so that learning is not monotonous and can be meaningful for students even in a state of online learning. Abstract

Upaya kepala sekolah meningkatkan kinerja Guru dengan menggunakan strategi studi banding terhadap sekolah unggulan lainnya, dapat dipahami sebagai tindakan stimulan kepala sekolah tehadap kinerja guru dengan saling berbagi informasi antara satu sekolah dengan sekolah lainnya. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti akan menjawab beberapa rumusan masalah yang berkaitan dengan tindakan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru dengan menggunakan strategi media studi banding. Pertama, bagaimana upaya kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru sebelum dilakukan studi banding? Kedua, bagaimana kinerja guru setelah diadakan studi banding oleh kepala sekolah? Metode Penelitian ini, akan menggunakan penelitian tindakan sekolah (PTS) yaitu dengan melakukan tindakan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa kinerja guru sebelum dilaksanakan tindakan dapat dibilang stagnan, setelah studi banding dilaksanakan dapat menjadi strategi media peningkatan kinerja guru oleh kepala sekolah. Studi banding sebagai media sharing informasi dan pengalaman guru dalam meningkatkan kinerja. Dan kinerja guru semakin menunjukan performance yang lebih baik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Audio Visual Media on students' motivation to learn science. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with One Group pretest-posttest design. This research was conducted in class V SDN Kapopo. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire to measure students' motivation to learn science. Data analysis consisted of validity, reliability, normality test and t-test used to test the research hypothesis assisted by the SPSS 25 program. The results showed that Audio Visual media had an effect on students' motivation to learn science. This can be seen from the acquisition of the value of sig < which is 0.000 < 0.05 at a significance level of 5% so that Hₒ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. So it can be concluded that the use of audio-visual media has an effect on the motivation to learn science for fifth graders at SDN Kapopo.

Abstract

This research was conducted because the majority of student learning outcomes were below the minimum completeness criteria, the mathematics learning carried out was still conventional, namely the delivery of material was still with lectures and students had not been directly involved in problem solving. In general, this research is to improve learning outcomes of sorting numbers through numbered jersey media for second grade students of MI Miftahul Ulum. This research uses classroom action research, in this study there are two cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data collection techniques used are observation, tests, and documentation. Observations were made about student activity and teacher activity, the tests used were written tests, and documentation was photos during the research. The results of the classroom action research showed that the numbered jersey media could improve student learning outcomes, in the first cycle the student learning outcomes were 42.85% (6 students who completed) and 57.15% (8 students who completed) while in the second cycle it was 85.72 % (12 students who complete) and 14.28 (2 who have not completed), so that students achieve the minimum criteria for completeness that have been determined, and student activity in the learning process has increased. Using media during teaching and learning activities can increase students' willingness to continue learning, by using media the learning process is not only teacher-centered but also involves students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan produk berupa buku pedoman belajar siswa mandiri. Adanya pengembangan yang dilakukan untuk memberikan alternatif solusi pembelajaran saat pandemi Covid 19. Jenis penelitian adalah pengembangan dengan menggunakan model Borg an Gall. Prosedur yang dilakukan adalah 1) Potensi dan Masalah, 2) Pengumpulan Data, 3) Desain Produk, 4) Validasi Desain, 5) Revisi Desain. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah, lembar angket, lembar wawancara, lembar validasi, dan lembar catatan proses pengembangan. Adapun hasil dari pengumpulan data bahwa, hanya 15% orang tua yang mendampingi putra-putrinya belajar, 100% orang tua merasa pembelajaran tidak efektif, 85% petunjuk yang dibeikan guru dalam mengerjakan tugas tidak. Hasil angket siswa menunjukkan, sebanyak 85% mereka jenuh dengan pembelajaran dan 85% menginginkan petunjuk yang jelas dalam pengerjaan tugas. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dibuatlah desain produk dan dilakukan penilaian dengan validasi oleh 3 ahli, materi, bahasa, desain. Hasil validasi pertama masing-masing ahli materi, bahasa, dan desain didapatkan rata-rata dan persentase, 2.6, 2, 2.6, 52%, 20%, 52%. Berdasarkan masukan yang diberikan maka ada perbaikan produk sehingga hasil validasi mengalami peningkatan rata-rata dan persentase dari ketiga validator yaitu, ahli materi 4.6 persentase 96%, ahli bahasa dan persentase 80%, ahli desain 4.6 dengan ersentase 92%. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapatkan maka produk yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan.
