Abstract

 This study aims to analyze the strategies for developing students' talents and interests in the tahfidz program to support character formation at MIN 1 Bondowoso. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, this research involved the school principal, tahfidz teachers, students, and parents as research subjects. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using a thematic approach. The findings indicate that the main strategies implemented in the tahfidz program include the talqin method, muraja'ah, and motivation based on rewards. These strategies have proven effective in improving students' memorization while simultaneously shaping their discipline, responsibility, and honesty. The responses from teachers (88%) and students (90.74%) reflect high enthusiasm for the program. However, challenges such as the limited number of teachers, minimal supporting facilities, and the lack of flexibility in memorization targets remain obstacles that need to be addressed. This research also found that the development of students' talents and interests has not been optimally integrated into the tahfidz program. Therefore, more inclusive strategies are needed to accommodate students' individual potential while strengthening Islamic character formation. This study is expected to serve as a reference for madrasahs in managing an effective, sustainable tahfidz program that focuses on the holistic development of students.Keywords: Talents and Interests, Student Character, Tahfidz Program Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan bakat dan minat dalam program tahfidz guna mendukung pembentukan karakter peserta didik di MIN 1 Bondowoso. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan kepala madrasah, guru tahfidz, siswa, dan orang tua sebagai subjek penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, yang dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi utama yang diterapkan dalam program tahfidz meliputi metode talqin, muraja'ah, dan motivasi berbasis reward. Strategi ini efektif dalam meningkatkan hafalan siswa sekaligus membentuk karakter disiplin, tanggung jawab, dan kejujuran. Respon guru (88%) dan siswa (90,74%) menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi terhadap program ini. Namun, kendala seperti keterbatasan tenaga pengajar, fasilitas pendukung yang minim, dan kurangnya fleksibilitas target hafalan masih menjadi tantangan yang perlu diatasi. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pengembangan bakat dan minat siswa belum terintegrasi secara optimal dalam program tahfidz. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi yang lebih inklusif untuk mengakomodasi potensi individu siswa sekaligus memperkuat pembentukan karakter islami. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi madrasah dalam mengelola program tahfidz yang efektif, berkelanjutan, dan berorientasi pada pengembangan holistik peserta didik. Kata kunci: Bakat Minat, Karakter peserta didik, Program Tahfidz

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi media kuis interaktif berbasis Kahoot dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) pada materi "Indahnya Saling Menghargai Keberagaman" di kelas IV sekolah dasar. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri Jember Kidul 2 dengan subjek penelitian 28 siswa kelas IV. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana dengan teknik triangulasi untuk menjamin keabsahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam partisipasi siswa dari 85% menjadi 96%, serta peningkatan pemahaman materi yang tercermin dari kenaikan rata-rata skor kuis dari 65% menjadi 85%. Implementasi Kahoot berhasil menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih dinamis dan menyenangkan, yang dibuktikan dengan tingginya antusiasme siswa dan meningkatnya interaksi positif antar siswa. Penerapan nilai-nilai toleransi meningkat dari 60% menjadi 85%, dengan keterlibatan orang tua mencapai 79% melalui fitur homework challenge. Meskipun terdapat tantangan teknis seperti keterbatasan jaringan internet dan perangkat, hal tersebut dapat diatasi melalui strategi pembelajaran adaptif. Kesimpulannya, implementasi Kahoot merupakan inovasi yang efektif dalam modernisasi pembelajaran PAI di tingkat sekolah dasar, dengan tetap mempertahankan esensi dan nilai-nilai fundamental pendidikan agama Islam.

Abstract

Minat membaca perlu ditanamkan sejak usia dini dan pengembangan secara berkala. Peran krusial pendidikan terletak pada penanaman dan pengembangan minat baca pada para siswa. Masalah yang berkembang di lapangan terkait minat baca adalah kurangnya penggunaan media buku bacaan yang menarik minat baca siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas penggunaan media pop up book dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode quasi eksperiment model non equivalent control group design. Dua kelompok penelitian dipilih secara non-acak. Objek penelitian adalah media Pop Up Book  Seri Kekuatan Udara (X) terhadap kemampuan Meningkatkan Minat Baca (Y). Populasi berjumlah 50 siswa dengan masing-masing kelas berjumlah 25 siswa. Pengumpulan data melalui pengisian angket minat baca. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi (uji t). Penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan (1) terdapat peningkatan minat baca yang signifikan rata-rata kelas eksperimen dengan pemanfaatan media pop up book sebesar 36,1% (2) terdapat peningkatan minat baca menggunakan teknik konvensional sebesar 18,8% (3) penggunaan media pop up book dalam kategori efektif sesuai dengan rata-rata uji n-gain sebesar 72,9% sedangkan penggunaan teknik konvensional dalam kategori tidak efektif dengan rata-rata uji n-gain 39,2% dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa.

Abstract

Scientific creativity must be trained to elementary school students from an early age, as a provision for students to have creative thinking skills and train student creativity. The purpose of this study is to increase student creativity by applying the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) learning approach based on PjBL (Project Based Learning) by linking socio scientific issues in learning. This study used Research and Development (R&D) design with a 4-D model. The subjects in this study were 26 grade IV students of SDN Pakintelan 01 Gunungpati, Semarang. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. This research data analysis technique includes analysis of media validation results, media practicality data analysis, classical completeness analysis, and analysis of student test results. The results of this study include: 1) e-module with steam-pjbl approach based on socio scientific issues; 2) e-module with steam-pjbl approach based on socio scientific issues is very valid with an overall average value of media validation test of 0.93 and e-module developed of very practical quality with an overall average value of media practicality test of 0.89%; 3) the classical completeness value of the media effectiveness test obtained high effectiveness results with a percentage of 0.88%; 4) The e-module is declared effective with the difference between the pretest and posttest scores, as well as the results of the n-gain test with an average of 0.60 classified as medium

Abstract

Education is the main foundation in the formation of character and progress of a nation. It has been widely recognized by thinkers and educational figures throughout history. Two figures who have significant thoughts in the context of education are John Dewey, who is known as a figure of progressivism, and Mohammad Natsir, who carries the concept of educational revolution. These two concepts have different characteristics and approaches in looking at education, but both have the same goal, which is to improve the quality of education for the betterment of individuals and society. The purpose of this study is to conduct a meta-analysis related to the thoughts of the two figures. This paper focuses on the thoughts of John Dewey (progressivism) and Mohammad Natsir (educational revolution) in the Educational Context of SD Al Azhar Bandung. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive type of analysis. The results of this study show that in the context of SD Al Azhar Bandung Education, the thoughts of John Dewey and Mohammad Natsir can be harmoniously integrated to create a learning environment that is student-centered, value-oriented, and strives to create positive changes in society.  Thus, education at SD Al Azhar Bandung can be a vehicle to build a generation that is intelligent, critical, and morally responsible in facing the challenges of the times. integration of thought between John Dewey (Progressivism) and Mohammad Natsir (Education Revolution) at SD Al Azhar Bandung.
