Abstract

This study aims to describe the mistakes made by 7th-grade junior high school students in worked on operational problems and to find out the factors that caused the error. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative with a research subject of 5 students. The instruments of data collection are written tests and interviews. Five students were asked to solve the algebraic surgery problem and conduct interviews with subjects who had many errors. The results showed that there were two types of errors in working on algebraic operating problems, namely errors in putting concepts and errors in completing. Mistakes in putting the concept that is an error understanding the concept of algebra. The causes of errors in understanding the algebraic concept are indicated by lack of mastery of the material and lack of accuracy of students in the process of completion. While mistakes made by students are errors in doing calculations. Factors that cause errors in calculating when setting a time that is not following how to solve a problem that makes students become rushed and panic in writing answers; as a result, students cannot check the results of their work.Keywords: error analysis, mis-understand concept, problem solving error, algebraic operation

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe an increase in mathematical communication skills through a problem-based learning model. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with the type of research used is tangent circle class material action research. The subjects in this study were class VIII MTs. In this study, students were given a posttest question in the form of a description question which numbered 5 questions in the learning process that used a problem-based learning model. From the results obtained, it will be seen how the mathematical communication skills of MTs students. The results of the study showed that applying the problem-based learning model, students' mathematical communication skills improved.Keywords: mathematical communication, problem-based learning

Abstract

This focus of research are as follows: 1) how does the readiness of resources at the input stage in the implementation of an accelerated program?, 2) how is the effectiveness of the learning at this stage of the process in the implementation of an accelerated program ?, 3) how is the success achieved in phase outputs and outcomes in the implementation of an accelerated program?, 4) What are the constraints faced in the implementation of an accelerated program?, 5) how is the follow-up evaluation results for program improvement acceleration? This study used a qualitative approach to the design of multi-case, because the two cases studies with different backgrounds.  From the results of the research data exposure in State Junior High School 3 of Malang, Laboratory Junior High School P of State University of Malang, and State Islamic junior high school 3 of Gondanglegi found as follows: First resource of  accelerated program implementations: 1) the Establishment of a team through meetings of teachers and principals, 2) the appointment  homeroom and acceleration teacher, 3) teachers acceleration met the requirements specified qualification standards both the competence and professionalism teachers acceleration, 4) teachers were given training acceleration, 5) teachers accelerated classes participated in the subject teachers Council inter-school organizer accelerated classes in Malang City, 6) mentoring new teachers who the first teaching in the classroom acceleration by the senior teachers of acceleration, 7) monitoring and supervision to the acceleration teachers by the team and the principal.Keywords: program evaluation, acceleration class, junior high school, islamic junior high school

Abstract

ABSTRACT Language as a communication tool that develops according to the situation and development of society, always chooses the right way to communicate effectively and efficiently. The use of language that is always developing is what needs to be investigated for its development, especially in morphological writing in order to find theories about language writing. Therefore researchers want to prove that a person's knowledge or knowledge when doing lessons or learning is not just sitting in a classroom or a room by paying attention to the teaching staff, but being anywhere when we are active. This is evident that not only in class can receive knowledge even in the streets can also get knowledge. The data sources of this study are billboards and banners. The research technique is done by observing the use of sentences on billboards and banners. After observing, the sentence forms that contain morphophonemic (morphological) elements were observed. Data analysis was carried out by recording a number of sentences containing morphophonemic forming elements, which were then referred to relevant theories, so that sentences containing morphophonemic elements were found and then given the correct analysis results. The results showed that morphophonemic analysis of the use of sentences on banners and billboards had morphological forming elements referred to in morphophonemic forming elements in the process of phoneme change and phoneme dating.Keywords: morphophonemic, sentences on banners and billboards

Abstract

The low mastery of the ability to multiplication in learning is due to the lack of proper learning models and the media used. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach. In the first cycle of action the mastery of the material before learning was given 31%, after the activity took place activists showed students: 58% active students, 30% moderate students, and 12% passive students. Student cooperation: 62% active students, 28% moderate students, and 10% passive students. While the average evaluation results were 68 with students completing 33 students and 16 students had not finished. The results of action in the second cycle of material mastery before the action was 48%. After the action is carried out student activities: active students78%, students are 18% and passive students 4%. Student cooperation: 84% active students, 14% moderate students, and 2% passive students. Evaluation results averaged 76 with students completing 46 students completed and 3 students not yet completed.Keywords: multiplication, media of learning, mathematics

Abstract

This classroom action research was conducted on first grade students of SD Negeri Coban Blimbing 2 Wonorejo Pasuruan, due to the existence of problems namely the learning outcomes of Indonesian language subjects especially loud reading is still low. Through word-of-mouth media this problem is tried to be improved and improved. The procedure of this study was conducted in two cycles of steps in each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, acting, observing and reflecting. Student learning outcomes in the final test presentation of students completing learning in the initial conditions 35.00% became 60.00% in the first cycle increased by 25.00% and became 95.00% and in the second cycle increased 35.00%, the average value the class from the initial condition 57.50 to 70.00 in the first cycle increased 12.50 points and became 81.75 in the second cycle it increased 11.75 points.Keywords: reading skills, reading loud, media of learning

Abstract

This study aims to improve the initial reading skills by using word card media for grade 1 students at SD Negeri I Sidogiri. This type of research is a collaborative classroom action research conducted in two cycles. The results of the study show that learning to read the beginning by using word card media can improve the reading skills of grade 1 students at SD Negeri I Sidogiri. Reading skills in pre-action amounted to 62.74 and the completeness was 48%, in the first cycle it increased to 69.9 with completeness 74%, the increase in the second cycle was 76.7 with completeness of 90%. In this action the students' reading skills with pronunciation, intonation and reading comprehension increased until they reached the specified completeness criteria, namely with the class 70 average and 80% grade completeness. In the first cycle used a word card with a size of 13 x 6 cm and each word with one color, in the second cycle a word card that was larger than 18 x 6 cm was used and each word contained an expression of words separated by different colors.Keywords: reading skills, media of learning, word card

Abstract

The development objective in this study is to produce a teaching material that is in accordance with the POGIL model on the subject of particle kinematics which can improve the learning achievement of mathematics education students in the Basic Physics lecture. Classes that use the POGIL model will run optimally when using appropriate learning materials. Suitable teaching materials are teaching materials that can present the concept of science in a systematic manner in accordance with the POGIL syntax. The output of this research can be published in his Likithaprad journal. Additional output targets for this development research can be published in nationally-accredited journals namely Education and Learning journals. The research method used for this research development refers to the Thiagarajan 4-D model. The 4-D model development procedure is used as a reference in this study with several reasons, including this development model is simpler, systematic, coherent, more specific and easy to follow the steps of development. In addition, the 4-D model specifically emphasizes the process of developing instructional materials and not on the learning design. The instructional material produced is expected to improve understanding and in accordance with the characteristics of students. In addition, the use of this teaching material can also increase the test scores of mathematics education students at Wisnuwardhana University Malang.Keywords: teaching materials, POGIL, student characteristics

Abstract

The success of the school in implementing a full day school system is inseparable from the actualization of the headmaster leadership. One of the excellent programs initiated in Indonesia is a full day school system. This program is an alternative model of education which is a learning process with a full day system. The full day school system is a way to develop the talents and creativity of students. The purpose of this study is to determine the actualization of the headmaster leadership in the implementation of a full day school system at the Islamic Education Institution in Malang City at the elementary school level. This type of research is using a descriptive qualitative approach whose data is obtained from observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the actualization of the headmaster leadership in the implementation of a full day school system at the Malang City Islamic Education Institute at the Elementary School level plays a role as the designer of a full day school system program; implementing a full day school system program; and supervisor of the full day school system program.Keywords: leadership, headmaster, full day school

Abstract

Guidance on the implementation of contextual supervision in the professionalism of the pesantren-based teacher professionalism that must be carried out by the chairman of the foundation and administrators in the pesantren related to the teaching profession based on interesting and unique pesantren culture is discussed with various issues of teacher professional development. This article aims to find out the phenomenology associated with the implementation of contextual supervision in teacher professional development based on the pesantren culture. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach. This study found about (1) the interaction patterns used in coaching namely imtikhan, prayer in congregation, silaturrahmi, regular meetings once a month. (2) approaches in coaching namely groups, individuals, seniority, pesantren bureaucracy. (3) supervision and evaluation, the supervisors and evaluators are the heads of foundations, principals, vice principals, school supervisors, 5 senior teachers and school committees. Follow-up supervision and evaluation of motivation, reinforcement and praise, guidance. Awarding for successful people is in the form of a 100% attendance certificate, additional hours of teaching in Babur Rohmah Middle School and High School, being a homeroom teacher, additional honorariums. Teachers who have not succeeded in getting a book related to teacher professionalism, reduced teaching hours, not being a homeroom teacher, are given a one-month salary.Keywords: coaching, teachers, a boarding school
